Abstract

This study examines how implicature in the Indonesian television series Preman Pensiun communicates social justice and tolerance values, situating the analysis within broader discourses in Asian media. Drawing on pragmatic theory, particularly Grice’s implicature framework, the research explores how indirect meanings embedded in dialogue convey moral and cultural lessons beyond explicit speech. Data were collected from selected episodes through qualitative discourse analysis, focusing on conversational exchanges highlighting themes of justice, fairness, and tolerance in everyday interactions. The findings reveal that implicatures often emerge through the deliberate flouting of conversational maxims, especially those of relevance and manner, generating hidden moral messages that resonate with audiences. These implicit lessons demonstrate how entertainment media do more than entertain; they actively shape public attitudes and cultural understandings of justice, tolerance, and community life. The representation of masculinity and solidarity in Preman Pensiun reflects local cultural values, particularly regarding authority, cooperation, and morality within Indonesian society. By situating the analysis within discourse studies, this research contributes to scholarship on Asian media by illustrating how popular culture embeds moral discourse within casual communication. At the same time, the study acknowledges its limitations, as the analysis remains largely descriptive. Stronger integration with critical discourse analysis would provide deeper insight into power, ideology, and representation issues, especially regarding gender roles and authority. Future research should expand the dataset, compare similar narrative strategies across Asian television, and explore intersections between local discourse, globalization, religion, and social change.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh : 1) dukungan orangtua terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 2) motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 3) interaksi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 4) dukungan orangtua dan motvasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 5)dukungan orangtua dan interkasi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 6) motivasi belajar dan interkasi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh; 7) dukungan orangtua dan motvasi belajar dan interkasi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh.Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dilakukan di MTs Muhammadiyah Trucuk Tahun 2019. Populasi sebanyak 70 siswa dan semua merupakan sampel. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dinyatakan valid dan reliable. Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi analisis klasik dilanjutkan dengan uji analisis regresi berganda, uji F, uji t, dan uji koefisien determinasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh : 1) dukungan orangtua terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh dengan nilai r sebesar 0,241 lebih dari 0,235; 2) motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh dengan nilai r sebesar 0,267lebih dari0,235; 3) interkasi teman sebaya terhadap presatasi belajar tarikh dengan nilai r sebesar 0,995lebih dari0,235; 4) dukungan orangtua dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh dengan nilai F sebesar 16,602; 5) dukungan orangtua dan interaksi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh dengan niali F sebesar 6,079; 6) motivasi belajar dan interkasi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh dengan nilai F sebesar 6,488; 7) dukungan orangtua dan motvasi belajar dan interkasi teman sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar tarikh  dengan nilai F sebesar 4,260. semakin tinggi dukungan orangtua, motivasi belajar dan interaksi teman sebaya maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar anak. Kata Kunci: dukungan orangtua, motivasi belajar, interaksi teman sebaya

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Towangsan, Kecamatan Gantiwarno, Kabupaten Klaten, Provinsi Jawa Tengah berupa penyelidikan geolistrik. Penyelidikan geolistrik dilakukan bersamaan dengan adanya program Kuliah Kerja Nyata dari LPPMI ITNY yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli – Agustus 2024. Penyelidikan geolistrik ini mendapat dukungan penuh dari pemerintah daerah Towangsan karena daerah ini memiliki keterbatasan sumber air untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan air apabila rencana Pembangunan Kolam Renang dan Taman Bermain Anak sudah terealisasi dengan baik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membuat gambaran bawah permukaan sehingga kedalaman dan sebaran air tanah dapat diidentifikasi dan menjadi acuan dalam penentuan titik sumur bor. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam 4 minggu mulai dari perencanaan, survey pendahuluan, kegiatan lapangan hingga analisis studio. Hasil penyelidikan geolistrik mendapatkan gambaran air tanah dangkal pada kedalaman 8 – 15 meter dan air tanah dalam pada kedalaman 32 – 52 meter pada litologi endapan pasir dari endapan Gunung Merapi. Hasil rekomendasi ini kemudian telah dipaparkan di depan pemerintah setempat di Balai Desa Towangsan untuk ditindaklanjuti. ABSTRACT Geoelectrical investigations were conducted as part of community service activities in Towangsan Village, Gantiwarno District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. The geoelectrical analysis was carried out in cooperation with LPPMI ITNY's Real Work Lecture program, which will be held in July and August 2024. The Towangsan regional government fully supported this geoelectrical inquiry because there are few water sources in the area for building a swimming pool and park. Children's Play has been successfully realized. The purpose of this service activity is to build a picture of the subsurface so that the depth and distribution of groundwater may be determined and used as a reference when determining drilling well locations. This community service activity lasted four weeks, beginning with preparation, followed by a preliminary survey, field activities, and studio analysis. The geoelectric investigation indicated shallow groundwater at depths of 8 to 15 meters and deep groundwater at depths of 32 to 52 meters in the lithology of Mount Merapi sand deposits. The outcomes of these recommendations were then presented to the local authority at the Towangsan Village Hall for further action.

Abstract

Collaborative Governance in the Sultanikah Capingan Program (Premarital Consultation for Prospective Pinanganten) in Surakarta City. Research on the implementation of the Sultanikahcapingan Program which was present starting in 2020 by adopting Stephen Ballogh's Collaborative Governance theory with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. According to the theory, in Collaborative Governance a program cannot run alone without the support of relevant stakeholders who have the same motivation, commitment, goals and mission. This program involves several stakeholders, the first is DP3AP2KBSurakarta City as the project leader, 6 religious institutions organizing marriage(KUA, BAGKS, Walubi, Kevikepan, Parisada Hindhu Dharma, MAKIN) and thecommunity as the target of the program, especially prospective brides. The datafrom this study were obtained from interviews with these stakeholders using the indepth interview method, as well as through literature study. The data analysis technique uses interactive techniques according to Miles, Huberman and Saldana. In the course of this program, there has been a decrease in the number of catin (bride-to-be) target coverage who received consultation from officers. Commitmentwith stakeholders also experienced several obstacles related to implementation time, provision of venues and implementation. For this reason, the Sultanikahcapingan program was researched from the collaboration process carried out by stakeholders, so that the results of the research will be known how the process, dynamics and adaptation of the results of the Sultanikah capingan program are running. Abstract

Leachate from the Waste Disposal Site (WDS) poses a risk of seeping into the ground and contaminating community well water. This study was conducted to examine the impact of WDS effluent on the water quality of wells in Tibar Village, Liquiçá Regency, Timor-Leste, and to evaluate the correlation between well proximity and the degree of contamination. The research employed a descriptive-analytic methodology with a quantitative approach, involving twelve well sites situated near the WDS. Water quality was assessed through analysis of physical parameters (pH, turbidity, TDS, conductivity, salinity), chemical parameters (ammonia, magnesium, nitrate, nitrite, calcium, manganese), and microbiological parameters (total coliform, Escherichia coli). The test results indicated that several parameters exceeded Timor Leste National Laboratory Agency, including ammonia up to 0.99 mg/L, magnesium at 102.6 mg/L, calcium at 168 mg/L, TDS at 1,384 mg/L, conductivity at 2,710 µS/cm, salinity at 1.40 ppt, and total coliform at 4 MPN/100 mL. Elevated concentrations were predominantly observed in wells located within 500 meters of the WDS, suggesting the infiltration of Leachate into the groundwater. These findings highlight a relationship between the proximity of wells to the WDS and the high levels of contamination, underscoring the need for enhanced waste management practices, regular water quality monitoring, and water source protection policies to safeguard public health.

Abstract

Background: Waste management remains a pressing environmental issue in urbanizing rural communities. Specific Background: The Sumringah Waste Bank in Ngampelsari Village, Sidoarjo Regency, has operated for nearly a decade as a community-based recycling initiative. Knowledge Gap: Despite its longevity, participation levels remain low, limiting the program’s environmental and economic benefits. Aims: This study explores community participation across decision-making, implementation, utilization, and evaluation stages in the Sumringah Waste Bank management. Results: Using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observation, and documentation, the findings show low involvement in decision-making, moderate participation in implementation by active members, limited benefit utilization, and minimal engagement in evaluation processes. Novelty: The study provides an in-depth local analysis of community-based waste management using Cohen and Uphoff’s four-stage participation framework. Implications: Strengthening education, institutional support, and transparent evaluation mechanisms are necessary to foster inclusive and sustainable waste management in rural Indonesia. Abstract

This Research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the Appsmart learning application, based on the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) model supported by Articulate Storyline, for drama script learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. The Research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The Research subjects are fourth-semester students enrolled in a Drama course. The Research instruments include expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, comprehension tests, writing skill assessment rubrics, observations, and interviews. The Research results show that the Appsmart application received a "Very Feasible" rating from experts and a "Very Practical" rating from users, and demonstrated significant effectiveness in improving students' understanding and script-writing skills. This application also supports students' learning independence in accordance with SDL principles. Thus, Appsmart contributes to providing innovative, effective, interactive, and adaptive learning media for drama script learning in higher education

Abstract

Community service activities are one form of realizing the tri dharma of higher education which aims to contribute by going directly into the field to help the community or school in several activities. SMK Abdi Karya is a vocational school that collaborates with the Gunadarma University Community Service Team (Abdimas). The Abdimas team consists of 7 lecturers. The problem partners face is that there is no data management on student work products at SMK Abdi Karya. Products made by students include key chains, recycled bags, digital products, and handicraft products, which have not yet been managed into product data stored in a database. Students are not yet able to utilize Microsoft Access as an application that can process and store various types of data. In office automation lessons using Microsoft Access, only theory is given without direct practice. This community service activity aims to provide training and practical assistance to students in managing product data using Microsoft Access. Students are given training in creating databases and storage tables, how to manage product data, and create reports. The community service activity program includes the preparation of learning materials, training, and evaluation of activities. The results of community service activities are in the form of learning modules, product photos, and student learning evaluation results.

Abstract

Silk woven fabric is a cultural heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation in Wajo Regency, one of which is in Walanga Village. The increasing demand for silk woven fabric shows that consumers are still interested in it, this also makes it one of the economic drivers in Walanga Village. The increasing demand is not supported by the high bargaining value of silk woven fabric. This is caused by the absence of product packaging. So far, silk woven fabrics have been sold without packaging. Community service activities carried out by partners go through several stages, namely: socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring and evaluation, and monitoring. The objective of this activity is to enhance the market value of silk weaving artisans, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the Walanga Village community. The outcomes of this program indicate improvements in product quality and increased income for the community. Attractive packaging has further boosted the product's market value, positively impacting the community's welfare.

Abstract

Banyaknya jenis-jenis puisi akan dapat membuat mahasiswa sulit mengindentifikasi, apalagi jika materi disampaikan secara konvensional, maka bisa jadi hasil dari pembelajaran tidak akan meninggalkan kesan yang menyenangkan dan nilai yang memuaskan. Padahal puisi adalah bagian dari materi di program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang wajib untuk dipahami dan dikuasai agar mahasiswa kelak dapat menyebarkan ilmu sastra pada generasi berikutnya. Selain itu mahasiswa sering terbalik membagi-baginya dan ironisnya, mereka tidak menganggap bahwa pembagian puisi ini penting sehingga tidak benar-benar mempelajarinya, padahal setiap Ujian Nasional (UN) soal mengenai pembagian puisi ini selalu menjadi pilihan untuk dikeluarkan oleh tim penyusun soal Ujian Nasional (UN). Melalui model pembelajaran word square akan muncul sebuah pembelajaran di kelas yang bermanfaat dan dikemas dengan suasana yang menyenangkan karena model pembelajaran ini memiliki sistem kerja yang mirip teka-teki silang. Dengan metode mendatar dan menurunnya dapat membuat mahasiswa belajar sambil bermain, sehingga dapat memengaruhi hasil dari proses pembelajaran mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis puisi. Mahasiswa lebih cepat menangkap materi, lebih cepat mengingat, dan materi jenis-jenis puisi dapat berkesan di benak mereka.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran word square, jenis-jenis puisi
