Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Arabic language learning at MTs Muslimin Indonesia Center, to identify emerging problems, and to provide solutions or recommendations to address these obstacles. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The research approach includes a pedagogical approach, and a social. Data sources include the principal, Arabic language teachers, and the vice principal for curriculum. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation, using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation checklists. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum still faces various obstacles, such as teachers' lack of understanding of the terms and concepts of the new curriculum, suboptimal preparation of learning tools, limited learning resources, minimal use of technology, and learning time that does not match the number of hours stipulated in the curriculum. However, in terms of assessment, no obstacles were found for Arabic language teachers. To address these challenges, this study recommends increasing teacher training and mentoring, as well as optimizing the implementation of project-based learning to improve students' Arabic language competency. Furthermore, proposed solutions include improving Arabic reading and writing habits, increasing the stock of textbooks, adjusting learning schedules.

Abstract

This study examines how financial literacy, cognitive biases, and behavior-based mentoring affect the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in post-disaster Sigi, Central Sulawesi. The objectives were to assess relationships among financial literacy, cognitive bias, financial behavior, and business performance, and to evaluate the role of mentoring as an intervention. A mixed-methods design was used: a quantitative survey of 291 MSME actors who received mentoring, followed by in-depth qualitative interviews to enrich interpretation. Findings show that higher financial literacy promotes healthier financial practices and better business outcomes, while cognitive biases influence decisions in ways that can harm performance unless managed. Financial behavior operates as the key pathway linking knowledge and biases to performance. Mentoring improved practical financial practices but did not sufficiently alter underlying biases or strengthen the effect of literacy on behavior. Recommendations include redesigning mentoring to incorporate behavioral-economic debiasing, training mentors as behavioral coaches, and developing simple digital tools that prompt data-driven decisions to sustain improvements in MSME financial management.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of work culture, work motivation, and work stress on employee performance at Royal Prima Hospital Medan. The background of this study is based on the important role of human resources in supporting the quality of hospital services, particularly among non-medical employees who still face various challenges, such as lack of discipline, work delays, and relatively high work pressure. This study employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaire distribution. The research population consisted of 150 employees, and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling; therefore, the entire population was included as respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of statistical software. The results show that, partially, work culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.034. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.005. Meanwhile, work stress has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000, and is identified as the most dominant variable. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-count value of 84.627 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.635 indicates that 63.5% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by work culture, work motivation, and work stress, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that these three variables play an important role in improving employee performance at Royal Prima Hospital Medan.

The CAR variable has a minimum value of -0.45 and a maximum value of 7.48 with a mean of 2.9843, and shows a standard deviation of 2.85325. The NPL variable has a minimum value of -12.38 and a maximum value of 10.94 with a mean of 0.4213 and shows a standard deviation of 7.66889. The BOPO variable has a minimum value of -4.34 and a maximum value of 10.33 with a mean of 3.5687, and shows a standard deviation of 3.89921. Meanwhile, LDR has a minimum value of -0.36 and a maximum value of 9.78 with a mean of 4.0120, and shows a standard deviation of 3.39202.
