Abstract

This study examines the extent to which online learning preparation has been implemented despite the pandemic's termination. Even said, some campuses still offer face-to-face instruction with the remaining 30% of instruction taking place online. Based on this, the researcher seeks to ascertain the viability of social media-based online assignments and learning, as well as their impact on student motivation. To determine the link between variable constructions, this study employs the SmartPls path data analysis technique. All PAI students at the Islamic University of Jakarta made up the sample, which included 56 respondents, of which 20 were men and 36 were women. The study's findings showed a 37.8% boost in learning motivation for those who were prepared for online learning. Additionally, there is a 53% boost in learning motivation for tasks while using social media. It is clear that technology and education will always go hand in hand, and that it will always be a flexible instrument for learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing a new curriculum and aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMAIT Miftahul Khoir Bandung. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study research type. The focus of this research is at SMAIT Miftahul Khoir Bandung and the focus of this research is to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMAIT Miftahul Khoir Bandung. The data sources used in this study are primary data (school principals, teachers, and parties who can provide information) and secondary data (data already in the school in the form of documents, learning tools, and so on). Data analysis techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show 1) The concept of an independent curriculum is an idea that carries the vision of freeing the curriculum from dependence on an established education system that seems rigid and has too many rules. 2) Implementation of the independent curriculum at SMAIT Miftahul Khoir Bandung through 4 approaches namely; a. Intracurricular Curriculum, in which the management system uses a regular system, a block system, a collaboration system, and a class transfer system. b. Project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. c. Extracurricular. 3) The problems faced by SMAIT Mifathul Khoir Bandung are that not all teachers respond quickly to curriculum changes so the independent curriculum is considered more difficult and troublesome, teachers have not been able to develop students' creativity as expected, lack of teacher innovation in the learning process, lack of facilities and infrastructure school.

Abstract

The issue of disciplinary practices among students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) is an important topic that needs to be examined. The phenomenon of student behavior that shows a lack of discipline or is far from the values of discipline has affected the teaching and learning process in pesantren. This study aims to describe the implementation of the student handbook as an effort to improve student discipline. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The focus of this research is to understand how the student handbook is implemented and its effectiveness in improving student discipline. The implementation model used is the MUNASIR model, which includes Modelling, Universal, Natural, Action, Socialization, Internalization, Reward, and Punishment. The results of the study show that the implementation of the student handbook with the MUNASIR model is effective in improving student discipline in pesantren. Through this approach, students become more aware of the importance of discipline and show improved disciplined behavior in their daily lives at the pesantren. This study contributes to the development of more systematic and structured strategies for improving student discipline in Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This study investigates curriculum policies in boarding schools operated by Vocational High Schools (SMK) within the context of Islamic education. The primary aim is to explore how Islamic principles and occupational competencies are integrated into the curriculum. The research employed analysis of policy documents, interviews with stakeholders, and surveys of curriculum implementation across various vocational boarding schools. Findings indicate that the curriculum strategy in SMK boarding schools is established through a comprehensive approach that combines strong Islamic religious instruction with technical and vocational knowledge. The program aims to foster students' spiritual growth while preparing them for the workforce. Islamic religious issues are not only taught theoretically but are also woven into vocational practices, such as business ethics in vocational case studies. Moreover, the study found that flexible curriculum adaptation is essential to meet the demands and local contexts of each vocational boarding school. Active participation from all stakeholders, including teachers, students, parents, and local communities, is crucial for the development and implementation of effective curricula. The study concludes that curricular policies in vocational boarding schools should maintain a balanced approach between religious and vocational education, emphasizing character development. Community involvement, continuous curriculum evaluation, and revision are critical recommendations for enhancing the quality of education in SMK boarding schools.
