Abstract

Academic writing is one of the skills needed by students, especially postgraduate students. However, there were still many writing problems experienced by Islamic Education Management Postgraduate students of IAIN Curup batch 2020. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a learning model for Academic Writing course. This study aims to investigate the development of a learning model in the Academic Writing course. This study used 4D development research model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The result of the study shows that the learning model in the Academic Writing course was carried out into these stages: prewriting stage, drafting stage, responding stage, revising stage, and evaluating stage. By carrying out the academic writing course, there were improvements in the writing skills of the postgraduate students. In the prewriting stage, it was observed that the students had already the skills needed to be possessed in the pre-writing stage. Then in the writing stage, the students had possesed skills in processing or analyzing data, and the students also had been able to revise their writings. This research produced a learning module for the Academic Writing course that has been refined from the modules used so far. The contribution of learning academic writing is in the academic writing course which teaches writing systematics, rules for writing, reference management, how to submit articles to nationally reputable journals, paraphrasing. The results of this course can be seen from student articles which have been published in many accredited journals Sinta 3 and Sinta 4.

Abstract

The change in the nomenclature of the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI) to Educational Management (MP) or Educational Administration (AP) at Islamic Religious Universities (PTKI) has had a significant impact on the development of higher education, especially within the Curup State Islamic Institute (IAIN). The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of changes in nomenclature on the management of study programs, curriculum, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by students and alumni. The method used case study is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, collecting data through interviews with lecturers, students, alumni and study program managers. This study employs a qualitative descriptive–interpretative analysis to explore the transformation of Islamic education management nomenclature at IAIN Curup. The analysis focuses on understanding meanings, rationales, and implications behind nomenclature changes rather than measuring causal relationships. The research results show that changes in nomenclature open opportunities for graduates to be more accepted in non-Islamic educational institutions and expand job opportunities, but also create challenges related to the loss of Islamic identity in the curriculum and management of study programs. Apart from that, curriculum adjustments and unclear regulations regarding the acceptance of ASN and PPPK are the main issues that must be faced. This research suggests the need for strategies to maintain a balance between developing a more general curriculum and preserving the values of Islamic education in the study program.

Abstract

This study examines strategic planning in Islamic higher education by analyzing the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Da’wah (FUAD) as a case study. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study evaluates the alignment of vision, mission, and development strategies with the current challenges of Islamic higher education. The findings show that the strategic plan reflects a progressive vision of religious moderation, but its implementation still faces key challenges, particularly in integrating the vision into teaching, research, and community service, ensuring consistent operational strategies, and strengthening institutional independence. The main contribution of this study lies in highlighting the relationship between strategic planning and the mainstreaming of religious moderation values as a framework for strategic management in Islamic higher education. These findings offer both theoretical insight and policy implications for developing more adaptive, value-based, and sustainable strategic planning in Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The implementation of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning model in Vocational high school has developed as a key strategy to enhance the quality of industry-based vocational education. This study aims to analyze the planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision of the Teaching Factory in fostering students’ character development in vocational schools in Rejang Lebong Regency. Methodology: This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy conducted in vocational high schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, which includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Main Findings: The findings revealed that TEFA planning begins with the development of human resource planning, financial planning, production planning, and marketing planning. The organizing process involves the active participation of teachers, students, and industrial partners to create a realistic work system while instilling positive character values such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. A tangible form of this organizing process is the establishment of the TeFa organizational structure. Novelty/Originality of this study: The TEFA model has proven effective in cultivating work-ready character traits and supporting students’ preparedness to enter the professional and entrepreneurial sectors. These findings provide a significant contribution to the advancement of holistic, character-based vocational education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Monitoring peran guru piket dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di SDN 02 Rejang Lebong sangat penting untuk memastikan kelancaran dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengidentifikasi peran dan tanggung jawab guru piket dalam menjaga kelancaran proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di SDN 02 Rejang Lebong.Untuk menganalisis dampak dari peran guru piket terhadap efektivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN 02 Rejang Lebong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisi data yang dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagai guru piket mereka memiliki peran yang multifungsi, tidak hanya sebagai pengajar tetapi juga sebagai pengatur disiplin, penanggung jawab situasi darurat, dan pemimpin dalam mengatur lingkungan belajar. Guru piket terlibat aktif dalam mengatur kelancaran proses pembelajaran, mulai dari menjaga ketertiban di kelas hingga menangani situasi darurat dengan responsif dan peran guru piket memiliki dampak signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan efektif bagi para siswa. Dedikasi, tanggung jawab, dan kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan berkontribusi secara positif terhadap terciptanya lingkungan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru piket berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN 02 Rejang Lebong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan monitoring dalam pembelajaran PAI, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa penting monitoring dalam pembelajaran PAI, sumber primer dan sumber sekunder, Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jurnal mengenai Monitoring dan Pembelajaran PAI dan data sekunder yang di gunakan jurnal dan buku buku yang relavan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pentingnya seorang guru memahami fungsi Monioring, penilaian tersebut melakukan penilaian yang disesuaikan dengan BNSP agar kualitas pendidikan yang tinggi di sekolah menengah, khususnya dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penilaian yang terstandarisasi oleh BNSP mencakup berbagai aspek, termasuk kompetensi lulusan, isi pendidikan, proses pendidikan, dan penilaian pendidikan, selain itu monitoring kompetensi guru perlu di perhatikan, hingga pada sumber belajar yang di gunakan seorang guru harus dapat menunjang pembelajaran yang akan di berikan kepada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran monitoring pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan efektifitas pengajaran PAI di sekolah menengah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas pengajaran PAI di sekolah menengah. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian riset kepustakaan (Library Research). Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber primer dan sumber sekunder, sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jurnal mengenai monitoring dan data sekunder yang digunakan adalah jurnal dan buku yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan monitoring dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam(PAI) pada pembelajaran di sekolah menengah sangat penting untuk memastikan kualitas pendidikan dan pengembangan karakter siswa yang optimal. Melalui monitoring yang efektif, guru dapat mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan dalam proses pembelajaran, memungkinkan penyesuaian metode pengajaranagar lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai monitoring kinerja guru melalui e-kinerja pada instansi pendidikan di SMA Negeri 01 Tebing Tinggi, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran opertator ekinerja serta tantangan dan hambatan dalama menyusun laporan ekinerja sumber primer dan sumber sekunder, Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini menggunakan hasil observasi dan wawancara dan data sekunder yang di gunakan jurnal dan buku buku yang relavan mengenai kurikulum, Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran yang dimainkan dalam mendukung kelancaran administrasi guru adalah krusial. Pertama, membantu guru dengan melengkapi keperluan administrasi seperti penyusunan laporan kegiatan mengajar, evaluasi siswa, dan dokumentasi lainnya yang diperlukan. Selanjutnya, mereka membantu dalam mengorganisir berkas-berkas agar sesuai dengan persyaratan aplikasi E-kinerja untuk diunggah. Proses ini melibatkan konversi berkas menjadi format digital yang teratur dan dapat diakses dengan mudah di dalam drive. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan seperti kesulitan dalam membagi waktu antara berbagai tugas administratif yang mendesak. Kurangnya pemahaman terhadap materi pelajaran yang diajarkan oleh guru dapat mempersulit pengelolaan dokumen yang berkaitan. Hal ini dapat diperparah dengan kurangnya bimbingan langsung dari guru terkait, yang sering kali mengakibatkan hasil akhir yang kurang optimal dalam pengelolaan administrasi.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of educational and management theories to develop adaptive, effective, and sustainable educational governance. The main focus is addressing the gap between theory and practice in educational management within Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as evaluating the application of classical and contemporary management theories in an educational context. Classical management, emphasizing efficiency and hierarchical structure, is considered insufficiently flexible for modern educational needs, necessitating supplementation with human relations theory and transformational leadership that encourage innovation and well-being. This research aims to develop a new conceptual model that merges educational and management theories and provides practical recommendations for educational management in Indonesia. Employing a normative approach through literature review and comparative analysis of educational management policies and practices in Indonesia and Malaysia, findings indicate Malaysia's greater success in outcome-based management through community engagement, while Indonesia faces challenges in consistent policy implementation across regions. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive managerial strategies based on local social and cultural contexts. It contributes theoretically by offering a new model for educational management and provides practical recommendations, including adaptive strategies and enhanced cross-sectoral and regional collaboration in ASEAN to strengthen education quality and sustainability

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the character education and school digitalization strategies outlined in the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of the Department of Education and Culture of Kepahiang Regency for the period 2021–2026. The method used is document analysis of the Renstra, which serves as a medium-term policy framework for the development of the education sector. The analysis results indicate that the character education strategy focuses on the integration of character values into the curriculum, continuous teacher training, and the reinforcement of extracurricular activities that support the development of students' personalities. Meanwhile, the school digitalization strategy includes the development of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, the enhancement of digital competencies among teachers and education personnel, and the integration of technology into an adaptive and innovative learning process. These two strategies are mutually reinforcing in the effort to improve the overall quality of education in Kepahiang Regency, with the hope of addressing 21st-century challenges and strengthening the competitiveness of the younger generation at both local and global levels
