Abstract

This research is entitled “Financing Perspectives in improving School Performance (Qualitative Descriptive Study at SDN Sindangsari Kec Paseh Kab Bandung) Motivated by the existence of regulations on education, and finance, the results of the preliminary survey there are several problems faced in school financing, the purpose of this study is to find out the management process which includes strategy formulation, strategic planning, program preparation, perspective implementation, perspective monitoring related to financing. The method used is qualitative descriptive method, with interviews, observations and documentation studies as data collection techniques. Data Analysis Using Qualitative Descriptive Analysis Techniques with the use of predicates as well as data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing The results showed that overall the management process had been carried out by the school well, although there were several problems that arose including from human resources, bureaucracy, NGOs / journalists to the reporting process, For example, problems arose from differences in understanding between the Kabupaten BOS Management Team and the Inspectorate that resulted in misunderstandings, delays in disbursements, new applications that were not in accordance with the technical guidelines but had to be used, and one of the efforts to overcome these problems was Communication, Countermeasures, Coaching and Training, then a program related to improving the quality of teachers and managers of BOS funds was planned. Abstract

This study is entitled “Analysis of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 63 of 2023: Implications for the Quality Improvement Program for Educators and Education Personnel of SDN Sindangsari Kec Paseh Kab Bandung This study aims to determine and analyze: 1) Planning, 2). Organizing, 3). Implementation, 4). Evaluating, 5). This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out using triangulation techniques using interviews, document studies, and field observations. Planning recommendations are suggested to be supported by adequate student resources so that the improvement of resources and competence of students can increase by conducting periodic trainings to produce continuous improvement. It is recommended that students continue to improve their competencies, including pedagogical, social, personality and professional competencies. Abstract

The title of this research is ”management to improve quality madrasah governance (descriptive study on private madrasah aliyah in bandung district)” this title was chosen because it wanted to reveal how madrasah apply the management principles of madrasah governance, thus giving birt to quality madrasah, increasing graudates and having high competitiveness. Research objectives: in general, is to examine strategies for improving governance in private madrasah aliyah in the kertasari sub-district, bandung district in implementing the ministry of education regulation. In order to improve quality education. And specific objectives. (1) to determine the planning of quality madrasah governance programs in private madrasah aliyah in kertasari sub-district, (2) implementation of programs on quality madrasah governance, (3) supervision of quality madrasah governance programs, (4) problems about quality madrasah governance programs, (5) efforts to improve the madrasah governance programs. Whhereas in the process of extracting the results of the filed the author uses the triangulation of results, namely: interview, obsevation ,dokumentation study.in two madrasah that are catagorized as high-quality madrasah, namely the baitul huda joglo alyah madrasah, kertasari sub-district, bandung district and islamic school aliyah al-fatah sukasari kertasari sub-district, bandung district. Basedvon the results of the study, it was found, among others:(1) quality madrasah management planning in the two madrasah was to combine religious and general sciences, as well as the eistence of other programs, such as educational programs and social programs. (2) the implementation of quality management of madrasah governance at the two institutions is related to improving the quality of education which refers to the national ducation standars that must be comprehensive and consequently about the management of education carried out by madrasah citizens. (3)supervision of qulity madrasah governance at these institutions is carried out in a thorough manner, meaning that suvervision is inherent in every educational actor in the two institutions. (4) follow-up madrasah governance faced by the two institutions includes providing direction and understanding to the community about madrasa, so that they are moren inrested in and support the madrasah programs. (5) efforts to improve madrasah management program are faced by the two institutions in the future by increasing collaboration with various related parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pembelajaran berbasis internet dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris peserta didik di SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung dan SMA BPI 1 Bandung. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis internet, serta dampaknya terhadap keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari wawancara mendalam dengan guru bahasa Inggris dan peserta didik, observasi kelas, serta dokumentasi pembelajaran yang mencakup materi pembelajaran dan hasil evaluasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dan triangulasi data untuk meningkatkan validitas hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah telah merancang pembelajaran berbasis internet secara efektif dengan memanfaatkan berbagai platform digital, seperti Google Classroom, Zoom, Kahoot!, dan Quizizz, untuk mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan interaktif. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendorong partisipasi siswa melalui kegiatan seperti diskusi online, debat, role-play, dan presentasi kelompok. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan rubrik penilaian, portofolio digital, dan observasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi dan adaptasi guru terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis internet, sekolah berhasil mengatasi tantangan ini melalui pelatihan teknologi untuk guru, peningkatan infrastruktur, serta bimbingan individu bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara perencanaan pembelajaran yang matang, pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat, dan peran aktif guru dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan global di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis secara komprehensif implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 112 Jakarta, dimotivasi oleh urgensi penguatan karakter holistik peserta didik di era disrupsi informasi. Meskipun P5 dirancang untuk membangun enam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, studi sebelumnya menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara konsep ideal dan implementasi aktual, serta perlunya kajian kontekstual, khususnya terkait integrasi Enam Nilai Dasar Keuninusan (teologis, teleologis, logis, etis, estetis, dan fisiologis) sebagai gap studi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus deskriptif-analitis, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, FGD, analisis dokumen, dan jurnal reflektif dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Temuan kunci menunjukkan bahwa SMAN 112 Jakarta telah mengimplementasikan P5 secara sistematis, didukung kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompetensi progresif guru dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran bermakna. Integrasi nilai-nilai Keuninusan berhasil memperkaya dimensi filosofis P5, melampaui capaian kognitif semata dan menumbuhkan kesadaran moral, sosial, serta intelektual siswa. Meskipun demikian, tantangan kesiapan sumber daya dan kesinambungan dukungan kebijakan eksternal masih ada, menegaskan perlunya pengembangan profesional guru berkelanjutan dan dukungan sistemik institusi untuk optimalisasi P5 sebagai model pendidikan karakter berbasis proyek yang relevan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy is expected to be able to answer the challenges of higher education in facing the demands of a dynamic world of work. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the MBKM policy in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Nusantara Bandung. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a policy study design, referring to the POAC managerial function (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and participatory observations of lecturers, students, and study program managers. The results show that the MBKM policy has been implemented through various programs such as Teaching Campus and student entrepreneurship, but still faces obstacles such as cross-institutional coordination and limited technical understanding among students. Periodic evaluation and outcome-based curriculum adjustments are important strategies in addressing these challenges. This study concludes that the implementation of MBKM shows a positive direction, but still needs institutional strengthening, increased human resource competence, and integrated information system support. The findings are expected to be a reference for stakeholders in formulating higher education policies that are more adaptive and contextual.

Abstract

Learning loss is a major challenge for non-formal education in the post-pandemic era, especially in PKBM serving learners from low socioeconomic backgrounds with limited facilities and minimal family support. This study aims to analyze the decision-making process of the Head of PKBM Qiyya Sentosa in determining effective learning models to overcome learning loss. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, document studies, and FGD. The results show that the Head of PKBM identifies learning loss through achievement and attendance evaluation, then formulates alternative solutions such as blended and project-based learning. Decision-making is carried out in consultation with the team and stakeholders before implementation. The blended project-based learning model has proven to improve student motivation, engagement, and achievement, although challenges remain in digital access and student time constraints. The study concludes the importance of adaptive leadership, data-driven decisions, and community collaboration in developing effective learning models in PKBM. These findings can serve as a reference for other PKBM and policymakers in strategies to address learning loss. ABSTRAKLearning loss menjadi tantangan utama pendidikan non-formal pada masa pascapandemi COVID-19, terutama di PKBM yang melayani peserta didik dari latar belakang sosial ekonomi rendah dengan keterbatasan sarana dan dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pengambilan keputusan Kepala PKBM Qiyya Sentosa dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang efektif guna mengatasi learning loss. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, studi dokumentasi, dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepala PKBM melakukan identifikasi learning loss melalui evaluasi capaian belajar dan absensi, kemudian merumuskan solusi alternatif seperti blended learning dan project-based learning. Pengambilan keputusan dilakukan secara musyawarah bersama tim dan stakeholder sebelum implementasi. Implementasi blended project-based learning terbukti meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan capaian belajar peserta didik, meskipun masih dihadapkan pada kendala keterbatasan perangkat digital dan waktu luang peserta didik. Simpulan menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan adaptif, pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta kolaborasi komunitas dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran efektif di PKBM. Temuan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi PKBM lain dan pemangku kebijakan dalam strategi penanggulangan learning loss.

Abstract

In this age of globalization, the importance of a quality education must become a foundation. By attaining a desirable education level, job opportunities could be expanded in a competitive era, a feat that is currently difficult for all communities, including high school graduates from special needs schools. In order to provide the social right for people with disabilities, as well as their civil right, and as a solution to prepare human resources, one of the school's programs should prepares its graduates to compete in this society's workforce. This study's objective is to comprehend how "Learning Management vocational life skills to nurture the entrepreneurship behaviour of deaf children in special needs senior high school" is implemented at Special Needs Senior High School Kemala Bhayangkari in Gresik and at Special Needs Senior High School Gedangan in Sidoarjo. This research describes and analyses (1) planning (2) organizational (3) implementation (4) assessment in vocational life skills in light of GR Terry's "POAC" management theory. This research uses qualitative methodology with descriptive analysis, observational data collection, interviews, and a documentation study to validate research results. This study indicated that in the planning phase of vocational learning skills, standard curriculum is referred to. Meanwhile, the primary responsibility and function of the organization is to become an important organizational learning standard. In the stage of implementation, entrepreneurship becomes the primary criterion for creativity skills, with the aim of encouraging and motivating students to gain the confidence to work in society. Performance assessment and learner potential analysis comprise the evaluation of learning. The obstacle encountered in the vocational learning process is the society's limited awareness of the potential of high school graduates, which is supported by the opportunity to participate in Small and Enterprise Business. Solution requires an approach to SME business sectors, society, social business sectors, and government. With the conclusion of the result, all deaf learners mapped align with the student's carrier pattern as well as their creativity class potentiality; consequently, the assessment result will have a significant impact on the entrepreneurial success of the student.

Abstract

The contemporary educational landscape demands comprehensive approaches that combine academic excellence with student character development. This research examines Merdeka Curriculum management practices in developing student character through sociology education, focusing on planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling processes. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research design with field research approach in two senior high schools in Bandung: SMAN 23 Bandung (public) and SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung (private). Data were collected through triangulation methods including in-depth interviews with principals, vice principals, sociology teachers, and selected students, participant observations, and document analysis. Purposive sampling was used to identify key informants who had direct involvement in curriculum implementation and character education. Findings revealed that both institutions implemented systematic approaches to character development through comprehensive planning processes involving all stakeholders, clear organizational structures with task distribution based on 5W+1H principles, integrated implementation strategies that unite character education with academic learning, and multidimensional evaluation systems that track student character development progress. Effective curriculum management practices successfully integrated character development with academic learning, supporting the social-emotional and character development (SECD) framework. Implementation within sociology education contexts provides natural opportunities for character cultivation through understanding social dynamics and civic engagement, with contextual adaptations that maintain core developmental objectives.

Abstract

Bullying represents a significant challenge in educational settings, affecting students' psychological, social, and academic development. While traditional counseling approaches face limitations due to inadequate counselor-to-student ratios and adolescents' preference for peer communication, peer counseling programs have emerged as promising alternatives for bullying prevention. This qualitative case study examined peer counseling program management at two public high schools in Bandung (SMAN 13 and SMAN 18 Bandung). Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals and guidance counselors, participatory observation of program implementation, and documentation review. Thematic analysis was employed to identify patterns across four management domains: planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. The study revealed a systematic four-phase implementation approach. Planning involved comprehensive needs assessment and objective formulation aligned with school culture. Organization established a three-tier structure comprising guidance counselors as coordinators, teachers as facilitators, and trained students as peer counselors. Implementation featured informal counseling sessions and structured two-component training (basic counseling skills and bullying-specific education). Supervision utilized direct reporting mechanisms and field monitoring, though standardized evaluation criteria were absent. Both schools successfully created safer environments through peer-mediated interventions that leveraged adolescents' natural communication preferences. Findings demonstrate that systematic peer counseling program management effectively contributes to bullying prevention by empowering students as active agents in creating supportive school cultures. The study provides practical frameworks for program implementation while identifying areas requiring enhanced documentation and standardization.
