Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan font aksara lontarak Makassar berbasis teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa daerah pada siswa kelas IV di UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai dan UPT SPF SD Negeri Mannuruki. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 207 siswa kelas IV di Kecamatan Tamalate, Kota Makassar. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T-Test dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen adalah 55,30 dan 78,50, sementara kelompok kontrol adalah 54,70 dan 64,80. Uji T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara hasil posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai sig < 0,05. Penggunaan font aksara lontarak Makassar dalam pembelajaran bahasa daerah berbasis teknologi informasi terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penggunaan teknologi ini juga mempermudah guru dalam mengajarkan aksara lontarak Makassar dan meningkatkan interaksi serta keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan font aksara lontarak Makassar berbasis teknologi informasi sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar bahasa daerah serta melestarikan budaya lokal. Temuan ini relevan untuk pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pengajaran di Sekolah Dasar. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Makassar Lontarak Script Fonts in Information Technology-Based Local Language Learning for grade IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai and UPT SPF SD Negeri Mannuruki. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with experimental and control groups. The study population consisted of 207 fourth grade students in Tamalate District, Makassar City. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and T-Test with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that the mean scores of pretest and posttest of the experimental group were 55.30 and 78.50, while the control group was 54.70 and 64.80. The T-Test test showed a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental and control groups with a sig value <0.05. The results show that the use of Makassar lontarak script fonts in information technology-based local language learning is proven to significantly improve student learning outcomes compared to conventional learning methods. The use of this technology also makes it easier for teachers to teach Makassar lontarak script and increase student interaction and involvement in the learning process. This study suggests the application of information technology-based Makassar lontarak script fonts as a solution to improve interest and learning outcomes of local languages as well as preserving local culture. The findings are relevant for curriculum development and teaching methods in Elementary Schools..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh strategi High Five dan strategi 3-2-1 dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III di UPT SD Negeri 8 Binamu Kab. Jeneponto. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Tes dilaksanakan dua tahap yaknin pre test sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan post test setelah diberikan perlakuan strategi yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi High Five dan strategi 3-2-1 dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan Keterampilan membaca pemahaman antara kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan strategi High Five dengan kelas strategi 3-2-1. Peningkatan Keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan strategi 3-2-1 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan strategi High Five. This study aimed to examine the effect of the High Five strategy and the 3-2-1 strategy in reading comprehension learning of elementary school students. In this study the approach used was quantitative. The subject of this study was a grade III student at UPT SD Negeri 8 Binamu Kab. Jeneponto. The instrument used is a test. The test is carried out in two stages, namely pre-test before treatment and post-test after treatment given the strategy that has been set. The results showed that the High Five strategy and the 3-2-1 strategy can improve the reading comprehension of elementary school students. There is a difference in reading comprehension skills between classes that get learning with the High Five strategy and the 3-2-1 strategy class. The increase in reading comprehension of students who obtained learning with the 3-2-1 strategy was higher than the reading comprehension ability of students who obtained learning with the High Five strategy.

Abstract

This research intends to analyze how well school culture affects kids' character development. The principal, curriculum area, class instructors, school staff, and a number of class pupils served as the research subjects in this study, which used a descriptive qualitative methodology. Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation are all used as data gathering methods. Objectivity and triangulation are used in data validity assessments. The procedures of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing were used to examine the data. The findings demonstrated the value of school culture in one of schools in Indonesia, in primary school kids' character development. Students develop character, discipline, responsibility, civility, and a love of reading via school culture.

Abstract

The use of school information systems that still use manual means in terms of learning evaluation makes it difficult in terms of assessment. This article will explain how to design a web-based school evaluation system at a vocational school. In this study, the methods used are research and development methods and data retrieval methods by making observations and interviews. The results of the final product research learning evaluation tool can be used in vocational schools and can facilitate schools in making learning evaluation tools. Development and research results can then be concluded that the process of developing web-based learning evaluation tools consists of assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product results in the form of web-based learning evaluation tools. Based on the tests conducted, the development of web-based learning evaluation tools on aspects of software engineering, learning media, and visual communication can be categorized as very feasible, so this learning medium can be used as a learning medium to help the learning process. Based on the results of field tests, students' responses to web-based learning evaluation tools from the motivational aspect get a percentage of 81.94% (category "Very Good"), gain with a percentage of 83% (category "Very Good"), and convenience with a percentage of 76.61% (the category of "Very Good"), and usefulness with a percentage of 83.65% (category "Very Good"), and when on average get a percentage of 76.61% categorized as "Good".

Abstract

Background. Higher education in Indonesia increasingly emphasizes the importance of developing effective and innovative language skills to prepare students to face global challenges in the future. In language learning, the Communicative Language Teaching method is a popular approach because it emphasizes authentic communicative use of language. Purpose. This research aims to measure the level of student satisfaction with the application of the Communicative Language Teaching method in Indonesian higher education. Apart from that, it also aims to provide better insight into the effectiveness of its use in higher education in Indonesia. Method. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to students from several universities in Indonesia that apply the Communicative Language Teaching method. The questionnaire is designed to assess certain aspects of the student's learning experience. Results. The research results showed that the majority of students responded positively to the application of the Communicative Language Teaching method through the questionnaires given. The results of data analysis also stated that there was a high increase in student satisfaction in the learning experience using the Communicative Language Teaching method. This method also helps improve their ability to communicate in the target language. Conclusion. The conclusion of this research shows that the Communicative Language Teaching method has a positive influence on students at Indonesian universities. Using this method not only improves their language skills but also enriches their learning experience through active social interaction. The implication of this research is that there needs to be more emphasis on the development and implementation of communication-oriented learning methods in the higher education curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background. This study examines the character formation of Muslim children through indigenous education at Floor IT Elementary School, Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency. The problem lies in the character formation of Muslim children. Purpose. From this problem, the question arises about the condition of the students' character and what efforts the teacher has made to shape the students' character at the Sekolah IT Floor Batu. This research is field research because the researcher directly visited the research subjects. Method. Data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with teachers at the school. After the data is collected, it is then processed by classifying the data and making notes about the results of observations and interviews. Results Next, the data is narrated descriptively. The research results are discussed using theories which are also supported by the arguments of the Koran and Hadith as well as several applicable government regulations. This research found an important understanding that Indigenous education is an educational method that is based on customs or customs that develop in society. Children's characters emerge due to the influence of the customs of the place where they live. Conclusion. To prevent the emergence of bad characters, teachers gather their students in one environment, so that teachers can accustom children to behave well. In this way, teachers can shape the character of Muslim children and familiarize children with behaving according to the character of Muslim children

Abstract

This research aims to observe how students develop their written narrative skills. This research uses survey instruments and questionnaires as data collection methods. Statistical methods are used in data analysis. One hundred students were involved in this research, except those who only wrote less than seven texts from the research sample. The study results show that students experience significant development in their linguistic expression in written communication situations. Their ability to produce texts becomes richer at the linguistic level, with increased lexical diversity in nominal and verbal areas. They also showed a better ability to use sentence-connecting devices. However, there are differences between students who use their mother tongue and those who use their second language in terms of lexis and syntax. Students who use their mother tongue tend to use less and less varied lexis than their second language. In addition, students also showed higher linguistic uncertainty, especially in terms of case inflection and syntax. Nevertheless, there are no significant differences between the two language groups regarding the global structure of the texts. The results of this study provide important insights for language education at the primary school level, showing that students who use their mother tongue have sufficient ability to carry out narrative tasks in a manner comparable to students who use a second language of the same age. However, it should be noted that the development of language skills in students who use their mother tongue may take longer and require special attention in language learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menjalankan salah satu dari tiga pilar pendidikan tinggi, dengan fokus memberikan pelatihan teknis operasional mengenai platform AI, yaitu Vevox dan Mentimeter, kepada guru Madrasah guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Melalui pelatihan yang diselenggarakan, guru-guru akan diberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang cara mengintegrasikan teknologi AI ini dalam proses pembelajaran, memfasilitasi interaksi dua arah antara guru dan siswa, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kelas. Metode pelatihan ini akan melibatkan sesi praktik langsung, diskusi interaktif, dan studi kasus untuk memperkuat pemahaman guru terkait penerapan Vevox dan Mentimeter dalam suasana pembelajaran Madrasah. Diharapkan pelatihan ini akan memberikan wawasan baru bagi para pendidik dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang dinamis, kolaboratif, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Melalui integrasi teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran, diharapkan kualitas pembelajaran Madrasah dapat ditingkatkan secara menyeluruh, menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan relevan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis positivisme dengan desain eksperimen Matching Pre-Test-Post-Test Comparison Group untuk menguji hubungan sebab-akibat melalui metode demonstrasi dan ceramah, serta menilai kemampuan kognitif siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengevaluasi keterlaksanaan metode demonstrasi, motivasi, dan hasil belajar dari pre-test dan post-test, dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas sebelum menguji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, dengan kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan metode demonstrasi meningkatkan motivasi pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV secara signifikan (p-value 0.000), dengan rata-rata peringkat motivasi 41.88 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 15.13 untuk kelas kontrol, sedangkan uji Kruskal-Wallis Test menunjukkan metode demonstrasi meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS pada siswa kelas IV secara signifikan (p-value 0.000), dengan rata-rata peringkat hasil post-test 42.50 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 14.50 untuk kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, serta merekomendasikan penggunaan metode ini secara lebih sering, pelatihan bagi guru, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the demonstration method on motivation and learning outcomes of IPAS learning in class IV students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, Marusu District, Maros Regency between the control class and the experimental class. This study used a positivism-based quantitative approach with a Matching Pre-test-Post-test Comparison Group experimental design to test the cause-and-effect relationship through demonstration and lecture methods, and assess students' cognitive abilities before and after treatment. This study used descriptive and inferential analysis techniques to evaluate the implementation of the demonstration method, motivation, and learning outcomes from the pre-test and post-test, with prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity before testing the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that the demonstration method significantly improved the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, with the experimental class showing a significant improvement over the control class. The Mann-Whitney U Test showed that the demonstration method significantly increased the motivation of IPAS learning in grade IV students (p-value 0.000), with an average motivation rating of 41.88 for the experimental class and 15.13 for the control class, while the Kruskal-Wallis Test showed that the demonstration method significantly increased IPAS learning outcomes in grade IV students (p-value 0.000), with an average post-test result rating of 42.50 for the experimental class and 14.50 for the control class. This study concludes that the demonstration method has a significant effect in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, and recommends more frequent use of this method, training for teachers, provision of adequate facilities, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan kegiatan komunitas belajar di satuan pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka yang akhirnya berimbas pada keberhasilan belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan komunitas belajar di satuan pendidikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Peningkatan kompetensi guru tersebut berimbas pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai ujian siswa dan peningkatan minat belajar siswa. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing learning community activities in education units in improving teacher competence in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum which ultimately impacts on student learning success. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of learning community activities in education units is effective in improving teacher competence in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This is evidenced by an increase in teachers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes in implementing learning in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. The improvement in teacher competence has an impact on improving student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by an increase in student test scores and an increase in student interest in learning.
