Abstract

The purpose of this research is to share reflections on Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an upgrade tool for foreign language development. Exploring the short but considerable literature research, this post discusses AR technology for the rise in the philosophy of upgrading, upgrading teacher nursery in position, teachers, pupils, customs, infrastructure, and sustainability, using the framework of activities outlines the suitability of the use of upgrading technology in development programs. For analysis, AR technology has essential benefits for language development; however, it is not suitable for all language types. Not only that, but this information also offers solid recommendations for activities that are enhanced with AR in 4 skills as well as language-specific applications. This information has some relevance for instructors, teachers, researchers, and creators of Augmented reality content.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) technology is something that is equipped with sensors and software so that it can send data over a network without human interaction. As a result, the Internet of Things can improve connectivity by connecting many devices via the internet, facilitating human interaction with machines. This research was conducted with the aim of increasing efficiency, reliability and innovation in the teaching and learning process. By using IoT, this research focuses on developing interactive and personalized learning media to increase students' understanding of technology. In addition, this research aims to improve teachers' abilities in using information technology to help students learn to use it. In conducting this research, researchers used quantitative methods in carrying out the research. The data obtained by the researcher was obtained through distributing questionnaires presented by the researcher via a goggle from application. The distribution of this questionnaire is carried out by researchers online, and then the results of the distribution of this questionnaire will be processed using an SPSS application. From this research, researchers can conclude that the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology can increase classroom management efficiency. With the help of the Internet of Things (IoT), teachers can monitor and manage classes more efficiently and intelligently by collecting data such as student activity, room temperature, and other information. Thus, IoT allows teachers to make smarter and strategic decisions about classroom management. Based on the results of this research, the impact of integrating IoT technology can provide benefits for teachers and students. Developing digital skills is one of the benefits of integrating IoT technology. By learning how to use Internet of Things technology in learning, teachers can improve their digital skills and increase their ability to use technology to improve the efficiency and quality of education.

Abstract

The increasing spread of misinformation through digital platforms has raised significant concerns about its societal impact, particularly in political, health, and social domains. Deep learning models in Natural Language Processing (NLP) have shown high performance in detecting misinformation, but their lack of interpretability remains a major challenge for trust, transparency, and accountability. As black-box models, they often fail to provide insights into how predictions are made, limiting their acceptance in sensitive real-world applications. This study investigates the integration of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques to enhance the interpretability of deep learning models used in misinformation detection. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate how different XAI methods can be applied to explain and interpret the decisions of NLP-based misinformation classifiers. A comparative analysis was conducted using state-of-the-art deep learning models such as BERT and LSTM on benchmark datasets, including FakeNewsNet and LIAR. XAI methods including SHAP (SHapley Additive Explanations), LIME (Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations), and attention visualization were applied to analyze model behavior and feature importance. The findings reveal that while deep learning models achieve high accuracy in misinformation detection, XAI methods significantly improve transparency by highlighting influential words and phrases contributing to model decisions. SHAP and LIME proved particularly effective in providing human-understandable explanations, aiding both developers and end-users. In conclusion, incorporating XAI into NLP-based misinformation detection frameworks enhances model interpretability without sacrificing performance, paving the way for more responsible and trustworthy AI deployment in combating online misinformation.

Abstract

Pengembangan papan informasi dan signage di objek wisata alam merupakan kebutuhan mendasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman pengunjung sekaligus memperkuat fungsi edukasi dan konservasi. Kebun Botani “Denassa” sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis lingkungan masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan informasi visual, ketidaktepatan istilah flora dan fauna, serta penggunaan bahasa yang kurang efektif dan persuasif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menyusun papan informasi dan signage yang komunikatif, informatif, dan sesuai kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui survei lokasi, pengumpulan data flora dan fauna, penyusunan teks, diskusi revisi, serta pendampingan produksi papan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan teridentifikasinya empat zona utama yang membutuhkan papan informasi, penyusunan teks dengan struktur kalimat efektif dan ketepatan istilah ilmiah, serta penerapan bahasa persuasif untuk mendorong perilaku konservatif. Selain itu, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam konten papan memberikan nilai tambah edukatif dan memperkuat identitas budaya. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pengunjung, berkurangnya kebingungan arah, dan perubahan perilaku positif terkait kebersihan serta pelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan prinsip kebahasaan dan desain visual berperan penting dalam optimalisasi fungsi informasi di kawasan wisata alam.

Abstract

Teachers are one of the main factors for success in education. The teacher is an agent of change to students. The purpose of this study is to use a literature review approach to gain insight into the systematic mapping review for the article under consideration. A literature review, one of the main reasons for the importance of a professional teacher who becomes an agent of change for his students. Methods in this study using the literature review method by searching various sources from Google Scholar, Scopus, WOS and also Erics. The results of this study are that being a professional teacher is required. The teacher's professional attitude is manifested in the form of being able to control oneself, which is expressed through a spiritual mental attitude, so that he always acts based on moral values, principles of life, and behaves religiously in accordance with his religion and belief in carrying out his duties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektifitas Metode Klasikal Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Paragraf dan Penggunaan Diksi pada Siswa UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yakni penelitian yang berupaya memberikan gambaran tentang keadaan yang terjadi di lokasi UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar berdasarkan pada kondisi ilmiah objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode klasikal memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf dan pemilihan diksi yang tepat pada siswa. Faktor internal dan eksternal seperti motivasi intrinsik siswa dan dukungan dari keluarga serta lingkungan sekolah memegang peran penting. Namun, tantangan yang ada, perlu diatasi melalui pendekatan yang lebih inovatif dan penguatan sinergi antara sekolah dan keluarga. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the classical method on paragraph writing skills and the use of diction in students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, which is research that seeks to provide an overview of the situation that occurs at the location of the UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar witha focus on the scientific conditions of the research object. The results of the study show that the classical method has high effectiveness in improving paragraph writing skills and the selection of appropriate diction in students. Internal and external factors such as students' intrinsic motivation and support from their families and school environment play an important role. However, the existing challenges need to be overcome through a more innovative approach and strengthening the synergy between schools and families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membaca dan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV di UPT SDN 8 Binamu, Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group diterapkan pada sampel dua kelas (eksperimen: CIRC, kontrol: konvensional). Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes keterampilan membaca dan hasil belajar yang divalidasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelas eksperimen: identifikasi informasi utama (85%), inferensi teks (82%), pemahaman makna kontekstual (88%), dan koneksi antargagasan (87%). Hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia mengalami pergeseran distribusi dari kategori "Sedang-Rendah" (72%) ke "Tinggi-Sangat Tinggi" (59%). Uji statistik paired samples t-test mengonfirmasi signifikansi peningkatan (keterampilan membaca: *t* = -11.222, *p* < 0.001; hasil belajar: *t* = -9.817, *p* < 0.001). Temuan membuktikan efektivitas CIRC sebagai strategi integratif untuk mengatasi defisit kosakata, rendahnya minat baca, dan keterbatasan metode pasif. Penelitian merekomendasikan adopsi CIRC berbasis konteks lokal didukung pelatihan guru dan asesmen formatif holistik. This study examines the effect of implementing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on enhancing reading skills and Indonesian language learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 8 Binamu, Jeneponto Regency. A quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group experimental design was applied to two classes (experimental: CIRC, control: conventional). Data were collected using validated reading skills and learning outcomes assessments. Results indicated significant improvements in the experimental group: identification of main information (85%), text inference (82%), contextual meaning comprehension (88%), and inter-idea connections (87%). Learning outcomes shifted from "Moderate-Low" (72%) to "High-Very High" (59%) categories. Statistical analysis via paired samples t-test confirmed significant enhancements (reading skills: *t* = -11.222, *p* < 0.001; learning outcomes: *t* = -9.817, *p* < 0.001). The findings prove CIRC’s effectiveness as an integrative strategy to address vocabulary deficits, low reading engagement, and passive teaching limitations. The study recommends contextually adapted CIRC implementation supported by teacher training and holistic formative assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode Hypnoteaching dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran Matematika di sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya minat dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam mengikuti pelajaran Matematika yang selama ini dianggap sulit dan membosankan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa metode Hypnoteaching mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih relaks, interaktif, dan menyenangkan melalui teknik sugesti dan relaksasi yang diterapkan oleh guru. Peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dalam berdiskusi, antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, serta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap konsep-konsep Matematika. Selain itu, metode ini juga terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi hambatan psikologis seperti kecemasan belajar. Kendala yang dihadapi mencakup kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan teknik Hypnoteaching serta perlunya pelatihan khusus. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru diberikan pelatihan intensif dalam penguasaan teknik Hypnoteaching dan dilakukan evaluasi berkelanjutan terhadap penerapannya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Hypnoteaching merupakan alternatif inovatif dalam strategi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara holistik. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Hypnoteaching method in enhancing students’ motivation and understanding in learning Mathematics at the elementary school level. The research is grounded in the observation that students often exhibit low interest and confidence in Mathematics, a subject commonly perceived as difficult and unengaging. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the Hypnoteaching method successfully fosters a more relaxed, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere through the implementation of suggestion and relaxation techniques by the teacher. Students demonstrated increased participation in discussions, enthusiasm in learning activities, and improved comprehension of mathematical concepts. Furthermore, this method has proven effective in reducing psychological barriers such as learning anxiety. Challenges include the readiness of teachers to implement Hypnoteaching techniques and the necessity of specialized training. It is therefore recommended that teachers receive intensive training in Hypnoteaching and that continuous evaluation be conducted to ensure its long-term effectiveness. This research concludes that Hypnoteaching is an innovative alternative instructional strategy that can holistically enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar, terutama untuk mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis dan komunikasi tertulis mereka. Namun, kenyataannya keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa di tingkat dasar masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang cenderung konvensional dan minimnya penerapan model pembelajaran yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Model RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dengan menekankan pada kegiatan membaca, diskusi, dan penciptaan teks secara bertahap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model RADEC dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SD Inpres Baddoka, Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai proses pembelajaran serta dampak penerapan model RADEC terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model RADEC memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa. Model ini mendorong siswa lebih aktif berpartisipasi melalui diskusi dan tahap penciptaan teks yang terstruktur. Selain itu, motivasi siswa untuk menulis teks eksplanasi meningkat secara signifikan. Namun, beberapa kendala diidentifikasi, seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk menyusun teks eksplanasi secara menyeluruh dan kebutuhan akan pendampingan lebih intensif bagi siswa yang kesulitan. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, disarankan agar guru memberikan alokasi waktu yang lebih fleksibel serta bimbingan tambahan bagi siswa yang memerlukan dukungan lebih lanjut. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi informasi, seperti media digital, dapat membantu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif. Dengan penerapan yang tepat, model RADEC memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan menulis siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Writing skills, particularly in explanatory texts, are essential competencies that elementary school students need to develop to enhance their critical thinking and written communication abilities. However, many students at this level still demonstrate low proficiency in explanatory writing, often due to the predominance of conventional teaching methods and a lack of learning models that encourage active student participation. The RADEC model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) offers a promising approach to improve writing skills by emphasizing staged activities involving reading, discussion, and text creation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the RADEC model in teaching explanatory text writing skills among fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Baddoka, Makassar City. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research provides an in-depth overview of the teaching process and the effects of RADEC model application on students’ writing abilities. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that the RADEC model positively influences students’ writing skills by fostering active participation through group discussions and structured text creation phases. Additionally, students’ motivation to write explanatory texts significantly increased. Challenges identified include limited time allocation for comprehensive text writing and the need for more intensive guidance for students facing difficulties. To overcome these challenges, it is recommended that teachers provide more flexible time allocation and additional support for students requiring further assistance. Moreover, the integration of digital media can help create a more varied and interactive learning environment. With proper implementation, the RADEC model holds significant potential to enhance the quality of learning and writing skills at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas penerapan jurnal baca dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan bercerita siswa/siswi di UPT SPF SD Negeri Mongisidi, Kota Makassar. Studi kualitatif dengan desain eksperimen-partisipatif ini, secara metodologis juga mengadopsi dan menggabungkan dua pendekatan utama yaitu pendekatan Partisipatif di satu sisi dan Inkuiri bebas di lain sisi. Hal ini memungkinkan upaya deskriptif menjelaskan level respon masing-masing peserta didik berdasarkan hasil jurnal baca sebagai bahan ajar yang diujicobakan. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan menurut teknik standar pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dalam studi-studi kualitatif seperti Observasi, Tes dan Dokumentasi. Observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi awal baik lingkungan penelitian dan subjek, maupun proses siklis. Tes dimanfaatkan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca, menulis dan bercerita sebagai indikator Literasi sementara Dokumentasi diperlukan untuk memverifikasi dan memvalidasi momen praktis Observasi dan Tes. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa level respon sebagian besar siswa/siswi secara umum berkisar antara domain C1 hingga C4, baik untuk fase pengenalan (introduction phase) dengan jenjang bacaan B III maupun pada fase pembiasaan (habituation phase) dengan jenjang bacaan C. Meskipun secara spesifik terdapat beberapa siswa/siswi yang level responnya mencapai domain C4 sebagai tahap paling dasar dari indikator kemampuan HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill), akan tetapi level respon para peserta didik yang dominan berada pada domain C1 hingga C3 menegaskan tahapan kognitif sebagian besar mereka yang masih berada pada level LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skill). Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa jurnal baca sebagai salah satu jenis bahan ajar yang diupayakan dalam konteks ini yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa/siswi, dapat dikatakan cukup efektif untuk mengukur level respon, namun masih kurang optimal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa/siswi secara signifikan. This study analyzes the effectiveness of implementing reading journals to improve students' literacy and storytelling skills at UPT SPF SD Negeri Mongisidi, Makassar City. This qualitative research with an experimental-participatory design, methodologically also adopts and combines two main approaches, namely the Participatory approach on the one hand and Free Inquiry on the other. This allows descriptive efforts to explain each student's response level based on the results of the reading journal as a teaching material that is being tested. Research data were collected by standard data collection techniques applied in qualitative research such as Observation, Testing and Documentation. Observation is used to determine the initial conditions of both the research environment and the subjects and the cycle process. Tests are used to determine reading, writing, and storytelling skills as indicators of Literacy while Documentation is needed to verify and validate the moments of Observation and Testing practices. The results of the analysis show that the response level of most students generally ranges from C1 to C4, both for the introductory phase with reading level B III and in the habituation phase with reading level C. Although specifically there are several students whose response level reaches the C4 realm as the most basic stage of the HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) ability indicator, the dominant student response level is in the C1 to C3 realm, confirming that the cognitive stage of most of them is still at the LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skill) level. These results indicate that reading journals as one type of teaching material that is attempted in this context, namely improving students' literacy skills, can be said to be quite effective in measuring the response level, but it is still less than optimal for improving students' literacy skills significantly
