Abstract

This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was implemented in two cycles, with each cycle having planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data source was students of Group B RA Sirojul Muttaqiin, Lemawungkuk District, Cirebon City through more interesting learning activities by playing number envelopes with the theme as a learning resource proven to be able to improve early arithmetic skills of early childhood, which can be seen from the data sheet of observation results during the arithmetic learning activities. In cycle I, the results obtained were 50% increase in early arithmetic learning skills not by playing, while in cycle II, the increase in early arithmetic learning skills by playing was 82.05% with these results indicating that this study was successful because it exceeded the target of the research indicator by 80%. The results of this study indicate that playing number envelopes as a learning resource can be said to be successful in improving early arithmetic skills of early childhood. Based on this study, it is recommended that all teachers can provide interesting and enjoyable geometric shape learning for children. Teachers should also be able to create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for children. Based on these conditions, the formulation of the problem presented in this writing is: playing number envelopes that can be used to develop early numeracy skills in Group B RA Sirojul Muttaqiin, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City and how to improve early numeracy skills by playing number envelopes in Group B RA Sirojul Muttaqiin, Lemahwungku District, Cirebon City. Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fractions material for grade 3 students of MIN 1 Jombang by using concrete object teaching aids. The use of teaching aids is expected to help students understand the concept of fractions more easily through real learning experiences. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were grade 3 students of MIN 1 Jombang. Data collection was carried out through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews with students and teachers. The results of the study showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept of fractions after the application of concrete object teaching aids. This is indicated by the increase in the average value of student learning outcomes from the first cycle to the next cycle. In addition, the use of teaching aids also has a positive impact on students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics, so that students are more active and enthusiastic in participating in learning. Thus, the use of concrete object teaching aids can be an alternative effective learning strategy to improve student learning outcomes, especially in understanding fractions material

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of children's cognitive ability in sorting patterns through the use of Flannel bags in group B RA Al Islam Pitoro. The ability to sort patterns is an important aspect in the cognitive development of early childhood, because it helps children think logically, systematically, and builds a foundation for understanding mathematical concepts such as number patterns, shapes, and colors. Therefore, innovative and interesting learning methods are needed so that children can more easily understand the concept of patterns. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design involving two groups, namely the experimental group using Flannel bags and the control group learning with conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through cognitive tests, observations, and interviews with teachers and parents to determine children's development before and after the intervention. The results showed that the use of Flannel bags significantly improved children's ability to recognize, arrange, and predict repeating patterns compared to conventional learning methods. In addition, observations and interviews showed an increase in children's motivation, enthusiasm, and active participation in learning activities. In conclusion, Flannel bags are an effective learning tool to improve children's cognitive abilities in sorting patterns. Therefore, it is recommended for educators to adopt this media as an innovative, interactive, and fun learning strategy for early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the singing method in improving the language skills of early childhood at RA Tarbiyatul Aulad. Language skills are an important aspect in the development of early childhood that plays a role in communication and social interaction. The singing method is used as one of the interesting and enjoyable learning strategies for children. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were children in group A at RA Tarbiyatul Aulad. The results of the study showed that the singing method was able to improve children's language skills, both in terms of vocabulary, pronunciation, and courage to speak in front of their friends. The songs used in learning are adjusted to the theme and level of child development so that it is easier for children to understand the contents of the song and enrich new vocabulary. In addition, the singing method is also able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere, increase self-confidence, and train children's concentration. The application of this method routinely and in a structured manner has proven effective in supporting the language development of early childhood. This study recommends the use of the singing method as an alternative to innovative and enjoyable language learning in early childhood education institutions

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important factor in improving student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze efforts to improve student learning motivation in Social Sciences (IPS) learning with Community Economic Activities material through lecture and question and answer methods for 5th grade students of MIS Hidayatusshalihin NW Lanji. The lecture method is used to convey basic concepts systematically, while the question and answer method is applied to improve student interaction and understanding of the material. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques as data collection instruments. The results of the study indicate that the application of the lecture method accompanied by interactive questions and answers can increase student involvement in learning, strengthen conceptual understanding, and encourage students to be more active in asking and answering questions. In addition, the existence of positive rewards and feedback from teachers contributes to increasing student learning motivation. Thus, the lecture and question and answer method can be an effective strategy in increasing student learning motivation in IPS learning, especially in understanding community economic activities
