Abstract

Permasalahan krisis energi BBM dan Gas Bumi menjadi perbincangan dibelahan dunia, adanya penambahan populasi penduduk menyebabkan permintaan kebutuhan energi semakin meningkat. Jenis kompor gas sangat beragam, perlu adanya kajian mengenai efisiensi termal kompor gas. Penambahan material grid dengan ketebalan 3 mm memiliki 3 variasi yakni variasi 1 dengan diameter lubang 0.4 cm dan 60 lubang, variasi 2 dengan diameter lubang 0.6 cm dan 50 lubang, serta variasi 3 dengan diameter lubang 0.8 cm dan 40 lubang. Penambahan material tersebut berfungsi memfokuskan nyala api dan meminimalisir losses. Pembuatan alat meliputi persiapan alat dan bahan, modifikasi dudukan kompor, pembuatan material grid dan reflektor, serta pengujian. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengujian adalah metode Water Boiling Test (WBT). Parameter dalam pengujian yaitu waktu start up, total waktu operasi, waktu pendidihan, panas sensibel, panas laten, dan efisiensi termal. Rata rata hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu didih yang dihasilkan oleh grid variasi 1 dan reflektor 1 baris sirip sebesar 18.06 menit dibandingkan tanpa penambahan material grid dan reflektor sebesar 22.02 menit. Konsumsi bahan bakar terjadi peningkatan pada grid variasi 3 dan reflektor 1 baris sirip sebesar 19,44 gr dibandingkan grid variasi 1 dan reflektor 1 baris sirip sebesar 18,56 gr, sedangkan untuk efisiensi tertinggi dihasilkan grid variasi 1 dan reflektor 1 baris sirip sebesar 57.73% dan efisiensi terendah tanpa menggunakan grid dan reflektor sebesar 49.54%.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, peran administrator atau manajer dalam organisasi kesehatan terus mengalami perkembangan, khususnya pasca-kemerdekaan. Pada masa awal, tanggung jawab manajerial di sektor kesehatan umumnya dijalankan oleh tenaga medis seperti dokter dan perawat senior. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai kompetensi serta tugas pokok dan fungsi (tupoksi) seorang administrator atau manajer dalam konteks organisasi kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur, dengan sumber data berasal dari beberapa artikel jurnal ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan pendekatan dalam lima artikel yang dianalisis, seluruhnya memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu meningkatkan efektivitas dan kualitas organisasi kesehatan yang dipimpin. Tiga artikel mendukung dan sesuai dengan kompetensi serta tupoksi yang telah ditetapkan secara formal, sedangkan dua lainnya belum sepenuhnya sejalan. Secara umum, administrator kesehatan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan, merencanakan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana, serta menyediakan data kinerja sebagai dasar evaluasi unit kerja. Jika kompetensi dan tupoksi ini dijalankan secara optimal, administrator dapat berkontribusi besar dalam menjamin kelancaran operasional organisasi kesehatan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan pasien serta masyarakat secara maksimal.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to analyze the influence of work climate on nurse performance in the Inpatient Installation of Malahayati Islamic Hospital, Medan. Nurses at this hospital have reported dissatisfaction with compensation and recognition systems, which are thought to affect performance. Methods: A quantitative approach was employed, using purposive sampling to survey 49 nurses. Data were collected between September 23 and October 5, 2024, through questionnaires, focusing on work attitudes, salary, incentives, and reward provision. Chi-Square analysis was applied to evaluate the relationships between these variables and nurse performance Results: The findings revealed that a positive work attitude is significantly associated with improved performance. Low salary showed a negative effect, with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 0.563 and a p-value of 0.004. Incentives positively influenced performance (OR = 0.263, p-value = 0.000), while reward provision indicated a trend towards significance (OR = 8.667, p-value = 0.056). Conclusion: This study concludes that enhancing salary, incentives, and recognition systems is essential to improving nurse performance.

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya pengobatan medis tidak membuat eksistensi bekam menurun. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi bekam dan efek sampingya pada pasien yang berbekam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara yang dilakukan pada bulan April 2022 hingga juni 2022 di Klinik PBR Kota Medan. Informan pada penelitian yaitu pasien yang bekam, kepala klinik dan terapis bekam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian alasan pasien melakukan bekam karena merasakan manfaat saat pertama bekam, tidak mengalami perubahan signifikan selama menggunakan obat konvensional, biaya bekam murah dan karena sunnah Nabi. Efek samping berat jarang terjadi hanya efek samping ringan seperti rasa perih, meriang dan gatal diarea bekam. Higienitas klinik baik karena menggunakan satu jarum untuk satu orang, kop dibersihkan menggunakan klorin dan alkohol serta tersedia prasaranan untuk pencegahan COVID-19 hanya mesin sterilisator yang rusak dan sedang diperbaiki. Klinik perlu segera memperbaiki mesin sterilisator dan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Medan dapat mengembangan bekam dan pengobatan medis secara bersamaan dengan melibatkan tenaga kesehatan agar didapatkan pengobatan yang aman, murah, efektif dan diterima oleh semua orang.

Abstract

Interest in repeat visits is the response that arises when the patient wants to make a return visit. Assessment of the quality of health services aims to maintain the prevailing standards of service. The better the quality of services provided, the greater the chance of patients returning to visit. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of health services and the interest in revisiting inpatients at Rantauprapat Hospital. In this study, the type of research conducted was quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The study was conducted at Rantauprapat Hospital, Labuhanbatu Regency in the inpatient room section in January-February 2024. The study population is all patients receiving treatment in the inpatient room of Rantauprapat Hospital as many as 17,070 patients in 2023 with a sample of 96 respondents using the Lemeshow formula. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnair. Data analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between Reliability (p-value 0.015), Assurance (p-value 0.015), Tangible (p-value 0.015), Responsiveness (p-value 0.002) with Inpatient Revisit Interest at Rantauprapat Hospital, and there was no relationship between Emphaty (p-value 0.678) and Inpatient Revisit Interest at Rantauprapat Hospital. The conclusion is that reliability, responsiveness, tangible, assurance are significantly related while emphaty is not significantly related. Suggestions that the quality of doctor service quality still needs to be improved related to the schedule of doctor visits to patients and nurses are more informative to patients.

According to WHO, in 2020 MMR worldwide amounted to 295,000 deaths caused by many factors. In 2019-2020, MMR in Indonesia showed a significant increase of 4,197 cases to 4,627 cases. ANC services are health services carried out by health workers carried out in accordance with predetermined standards, aimed at monitoring the health of mothers and children. If ANC utilization services are not utilized properly, then many impacts will affect, for example, According to WHO, in 2020 MMR worldwide amounted to 295,000 deaths caused by many factors. This study uses exploratory qualitative research methods with centralized interviews also using secondary data from national articles using electronic media Google Scholar data base (2020-2023). MMR in Pematang Jaya sub-district is 0%, while K1 coverage is 81.34% and K4 is 87.31% in 2022. The most dominant factors are predisposing characteristics and reinforcing characteristics which include factors regarding the knowledge of pregnant women, attitudes of pregnant women and support from husbands and families, the role of posyandu cadres and village midwives. In this study, it can be concluded that antenatal care services at UPT Puskesmas Pematang Jaya have been carried out well. The influencing factors are in the predisposing characteristics that include maternal knowledge and maternal brushes and the reinforcing characteristics include the support factors of husbands and families as well as the village cadres and midwives who are doominan to influence ANC visits. not being able to detect early health problems experienced. Abstract

Yellow pumpkin has a very high fiber content. Fiber is very good when used in making a soft diet in maintaining health and can launch metabolism The use of yellow pumpkin as flour in making steamed sponges has not been done much research on its nutritional value and advantages. Yellow pumpkin can be processed into free gluteen flour so that it is safe for consumption by the public, facilitates storage and can increase selling value. One bakery product that allows to add or replace some of the flour is steamed sponge. With the creation of the innovation of steamed sponges, yellow pumpkin flour is expected to be a healthy snack high in fiber. This study aims to obtain organoleptic test results and fiber content from steamed sponges made from yellow pumpkin flour. The method used was a true experiment with the Posttest Only Control Group design, which was then analyzed descriptively. This research consists of three stages, namely product development, product acceptance testing by panelists, and fiber content testing at the Organic Chemistry laboratory of FMIPA University of North Sumatra. The results of organoleptic tests obtained a very liking level for color by 48.0%, very liking for aroma by 36.0%, liking texture by 44.0% and a very liking level for taste by 36.0%. The results of the fiber content test were obtained at 55.14% from the mass of 33.58 grams of steamed sponge yellow pumpkin flour. The conclusion that based on the overall results of organoleptic tests of steamed sponge yellow pumpkin flour can be accepted by the public in terms of color, aroma, texture, and taste.

Abstract

Work productivity at work is very important for a company to produce a product to achieve targets and as a form of consideration to achieve success in a company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload on the labor productivity of oil palm harvesters. The research method used quantitative research with Cross Sectional design and data analysis on univariate tests using frequency distribution tables and Paired tests on pulse samples with sig. < 0.05 values. A sample of 48 respondents who were oil palm harvesters at PT. Merbaujaya Indahraya, Aek Kuo District, using total sampling. The measurements in this questionnaire use the Likert scale, and check the pulse on the arteries in the respondent's wrist, and see the results of the achievements obtained by the respondent. The results showed that the workload had a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of oil palm harvesters at PT Merbaujaya Indahraya, Aek Kuo District, with a significance value (sig) of 0.000 < 0.05. This study came to the conclusion that the work productivity of oil palm harvesters at PT Merbaujaya Indahraya is in the good category, but there must be improvements to increase the work productivity of oil palm harvesters to remain stable and increase for the success of a company.

Abstract

In 2023, there will be an increase in the prevalence of stunting in the Puskesmas working area, decreasing from 31 stunted toddlers to 35 stunted toddlers compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the target for reducing the stunting rate in Medan City by 2024 is 14.92%. The research aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the incidence of stunting in the area, with a focus on parental practices/support for children in feeding practices personal hygiene practices, and environmental sanitation. This research uses a quantitative approach with an observational case-control design. The sample size was 70 respondents who were divided into two groups, namely 35 respondents in the case group and 35 respondents in the control group. The results of this study show that there is an influence between parental practices/support in providing food (p-value=0.000) and personal hygiene/hygiene practices and environmental sanitation on the incidence of stunting in the working area of the Terjun Community Health Center (p-value=0.006) with an Odds value The ratio (OR<1) indicates that these factors have a weak or protective influence on the incidence of stunting. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that parental practices/support in providing food and personal hygiene practices and environmental sanitation influence the incidence of stunting, but positively as protective factors against the incidence of stunting in the working area of the Terjun Community Health Center.

Abstract

Excellent service in the context of hospitals means assistance provided to patients based on quality standards to meet the needs and desires of patients so that patients can get satisfaction which can ultimately increase their trust in hospitals. But in terms of service, a number of hospitals in North Sumatra, especially those managed by the government, are often complained about by the public. There are many unscrupulous hospital employees who openly discriminate and are picky in helping patients. This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of health administration officer services at the inpatient registration of the Medan Hajj General Hospital. This research uses qualitative research using a case study approach through observation, interviews and documentation to 4 informants conducted intensively and in depth. The results showed that the effectiveness of administrative officers in the registration section at the Medan Hajj General Hospital was very good. However, the facilities in the waiting room are not sufficient. The results showed that the effectiveness of administrative officers in the registration section at the Medan Hajj General Hospital has not realized online registration. and the facilities in the waiting room are not sufficient.
