Abstract

This study examines the profitability of Mapan P05 hybrid rice farming and the impact of production costs on farmers' income in Susukan Village, Banjarnegara Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach with a field survey design, data were collected from 78 Mapan P05 rice farmers through structured interviews. Descriptive and multiple linear regression analyses were utilized to analyze the data. The findings reveal that Mapan P05 rice farming in Susukan Village is profitable, with an average net income of 17.3 million Rupiah per hectare per cropping season. The regression analysis further elucidated the significant role of efficient resource allocation, particularly in labor (coefficient 1.389) and land preparation (coefficient 5.109) influence farmer income, in augmenting farmers' profitability. The empirical model derived is Y = -19,997,135 + 5,420X1 + 0,198X2 + 0,540X3 + 1,389X4 + 5,109X5 + e, where Y represents farmer income, X1 denotes seed costs, X2 signifies fertilizer expenses, X3 represents pesticide costs, X4 denotes labor costs, and X5 signifies land preparation costs. The regression analysis underscoring the importance of efficient labor utilization and optimal investment in land preparation to enhance the profitability of Mapan P05 rice farming. This study provides empirical evidence that adopting high-yielding varieties like Mapan P05 seed can bolster production and income for farmers. However, it also highlights that the success of rice farming is contingent upon other factors. Keywords: Banjarnegara, Hybrid Rice Farming, Mapan P05, Farmer Income, Agriculture Economic

In this study, researchers took a case study at PT. Rumah Mebel Nusantara (IKEA) in the Semarang area by conducting research on 306 respondents to IKEA online customers. In this study obtained 3 clusters. Where cluster 1 is a Methodical Customer, Cluster 2 is referred to as a Humanistic Customer, and Cluster 3 is referred to as a Spontaneous Customer. Based on the results of data processing using SPSS, researchers chose Cluster 3 because this cluster has a high potential to increase sales with the type of purchase and the number of transactions are greater than the other 2 clusters. This cluster will tend to be more loyal than the other 2 clusters because this type of customer if they satisfied with the brand they will buy it.

In addition, to meet customer wants, needs, and satisfaction refers to the market environment, both external and internal. This research succeeded in modeling customer segmentation based on clustering data mining techniques with K-Means analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the analysis results obtained, there are 3 clusters, namely clusters: consumptive customer, potential customer, and standard young customer. From the results of this study, we get the personas that emerge as a result of this clustering analysis, and identify the needs, desires, and preferences of the cluster that is formed. We choose to develop tactic 8Ps marketing mix for cluster potential customer.

Abstract

The globalization process occurring in various countries demands cultural acculturation and leadership models and styles at the global workplace or at the company level. This research aims to determine the leadership styles of Korean-Chinese expatriates and local managers in multinational companies PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z when facing issues related to individual culture, personality, behavior, and differing beliefs, as well as when understanding the problems faced by Korean-Chinese expatriate leaders and local managers within multinational companies PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z in Indonesia. Based on the data analysis presented, it can be concluded that the cross-cultural leadership style of expatriates in PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z is employee-centered (democratic). The leadership style applied by expatriates in PT. X and local managers from PT. Y is seen in decision-making, leader roles, and delegation of authority. Abstract

This study focuses on Indonesia’s automotive industry sector, which is currently experiencing growth, particularly in terms of Wuling's contribution to the economy through sales. The aim is to identify customer clusters for Wuling vehicle and the marketing mix strategy after the most dominant customer cluster for Wuling vehicle. The research method used was a quantitative survey, which involved collecting data from 111 potential Wuling customer using purposive sampling and data collection through questionnaires. The analysis included an F-Test to examine the differences between clusters. The results show that the clustering of Wuling customer using the K-Means Clustering method successfully divided them into three different clusters, namely Perfectionist, Easy Going, and Beginner, with the Easy Going being the most dominant. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust marketing strategies to focus more on the needs and preferences of the Easy Going, including optimizing the use of promotion channels that have been proven effective, such as direct marketing and sales websites. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of applying the K-Means Clustering method in automotive market segmentation, providing valuable insights for Wuling to formulate more effective and relevant marketing strategies to meet the diverse needs of customer in a dynamic market.

Abstract

The development of the world of tourism is currently experiencing high growth. With repairs and increasing the quality of tourist spots, it has succeeded in encouraging and increasing public interest in visiting. Traveling at this time has also been carried out in various ways both by individuals and groups. One of the quite existing tourist groups in Jakarta is the Backpacker Jakarta Community (BPJ), which offers low-cost travel packages with the Backpacker pattern. In this study, the authors conducted a survey of BPJ’s members/members by distributing questionnaires containing personal data and also regarding the interest of the members in the trips or trips they had participated in so far. From this process the researcher obtained feedback and analyzed the answers from 96 respondents, using the clustering method with K-means clustering analysis, and then determined 7 clusters to get an overview of the variations in the interest of BPJ’s members. Of the 7 clusters, the researcher chose one of the potential clusters to develop travel tour package products, namely BPJ’s Member Mountaineering Lover Cluster which contains quite young groups between 22-35 years old. Furthermore, the researcher determines the Value Proposition of the cluster to determine the strategic steps for the marketing mix strategy with the 8P.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of K-Means clustering algorithm to determine market segmentation and prepare targeted marketing strategies. The process involves grouping customer data based on various factors such as transmission type, customer satisfaction, payment method, and branches. After grouping the data, the initialization stage is carried out by providing an initial number, and then the clustering process is carried out. The resulting clusters are analyzed to identify different customer profiles and needs. With an in-depth understanding of each segmentation, companies can develop specific and targeted marketing strategies for each customer group. Additionally, this study discusses the construction of a brand persona by identifying the target audience, understanding their needs and wants, creating a character profile, and compiling a brand persona document that includes all the important information. The customized brand persona can then be used in the development of online value proposition and marketing strategies.
