Abstract

Learning can take place anywhere, for example through formal or informal education. Learners in formal education must adapt to the learning activities undertaken and be able to self-regulate their learning. However, each student's learning activities do not go well due to fatigue. Therefore, the researchers wanted to know the impact of self-regulated learning on the learning saturation level of Grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya students. The purpose of this study was to collect information and describe the impact of self-regulated learning on academic burnout among students of Grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study consisted of 224 Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya, with a sample size of 76 respondents. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Research results show that the ability to self-regulate learning of Grade VIII students is 74% at the "Average" level. At the same time, the level of learning saturation of Grade VIII students is at "low" level. This shows that the impact of self-study on students' academic burnout is 27%. This means that up to 73% of people are affected by other untested variables

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of taste that you want to know in class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, data collection is an indirect communication technique using closed angles that are shared directly. The results of the research showed the character of curiosity in class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang with a proportion of 82.07% in the high category. (1) Characteristics of taste that students want to know reaches 79.86% in the high category. (2) Evaluation of the reaction of the character of curiosity in class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang reached 82.48% in the high category. (3) The impact on students who have a curious character in class VII of SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang reaches 84.02% in the high category. (4) The efforts made by the counseling teacher in dealing with the curious character of class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang achieved a result of 85.39% in the high category. The general conclusion is that the character of taste that class VII students of Singkawang State Middle School 8 want to know is in the high category with a proportion of 82.07%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and study in depth about truancy behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The case subjects in this study were two class VIII students who often carried out truancy behavior at school. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and home visits. While the data analysis technique uses case study steps which include problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. In giving treatment, the researcher used two different counseling models to handle two students who did truancy behavior, namely using the Reality counseling model to handle the subject of case I and the Behavioral counseling model with assertive training techniques to handle the subject case II. Based on the results of the study, there were visible changes in the subjects of case I and case II after being given three meetings of treatment. The changes seen in the subject of case I included a reduction in the habit of skipping school, being more diligent in coming to school and a growing sense of responsibility in the subject of the case for his school life. Meanwhile, the changes seen in the subject of case II were being more diligent in coming to school, reducing the habit of skipping classes and being able to be assertive when refusing friends' invitations to skip classes

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of service quality variables on the company's image, customer trust and customer loyalty, as well as the influence of company image variables on customer trust and customer loyalty, and the influence of trust on customer loyalty. To achieve these objectives, accidental sampling selected 70 customers of Bank BSI as respondents. Selection of sample customers using the criteria: (a) have a minimum savings amount of Rp 5 million, and (b) have been saving at Bank BSI for at least one year when this research was conducted. To achieve the first objective, descriptive analysis was used and GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis) was used to achieve objectives two to six. The results of the analysis show that customers perceive service quality and customer trust, including in the very high / very good category, while company image and customer loyalty are in the high / good category. While the results of GSCA analysis show: (a) service quality has a significant and positive effect on corporate image; (b) service quality has a significant and positive effect on customer trust; (c) service quality has a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty; (d) corporate image has a significant and positive effect on customer trust; (e) corporate image has a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty; and (f) customer trust has a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty. Further research (with the same object: BSI customers) by adding independent variables and expanding the research area, especially in areas where the majority of the population is non-Muslim, such as in the Maluku, Papua and North Sulawesi regions, needs to be carried out. The management of BSI Kupang Branch is advised to strategically strive to improve service quality, corporate image and customer trust on an ongoing basis, and at the same time, continue to improve customer loyalty, so that customers remain customers of BSI Kupang Branch.

Abstract

Technological advances and developments in the era have created new challenges for lecturers in English language learning. As a result of the use of technological tools increasingly entering all aspects of life including learning, one of the things that have happened lately is cheating on computers or the internet. Computer and internet cheating are phenomenon of technological world involving human educational live. It cannot be avoided as the consequence of current development. However, one of the tools that can be used to address this issue is the assessment rubric. Assessment rubrics can help lecturers in assessing student assignments, making it easier for them to provide assessments. In relation to the use of computers or internet networks in creating writing assignments, scoring rubrics can help lecturers in assessing and identifying cheating activities from the internet or internet cheating. This study used descriptive analysis with a participant action research (PAR) approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing three English lecturers who teach in non-English departments in general basic courses. The respondents were interviewed to obtain research results. The results were analyzed using the average formula. From the results of the study, it was found that the use of scoring rubrics can help lecturers in assessing and preventing plagiarism from the internet. or English assignments obtained from cheating from the internet.

Abstract

Kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, mengaitkan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran serta kurangnya penggunaan media oleh guru berpengrauh terhadap proses dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan, profil dan mengetahui efektivitas video pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek validasi adalah lima ahli media, lima ahli desain, dan empat ahli materi serta 26 siswa. Subjek uji efektivitas berjumlah 30 siswa dan subjek validasi soal 30 siswa. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, deskritif kualitatif dan statistik inferensial uji t serta uji effect size. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) deskprisi desain video pembelajaran. (2) profil video pembelajaran (3) evektifitas video pembelajaran melalui uji effect size, hasilnya 2,614 dengan kategori “strong effect”. Dengan demikikan, video pembelajaran geografi SMA berbasis kearfian lokal dapat diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan High Order Thinking Skills.

Abstract

The use of Integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) is of paramount importance within the context of a performance appraisal system. Both were employed as a means of evaluating employee performance in relation to pre-established objectives. The objective: is to investigate and analyse the impact of OKRs and KPIs on employee rewards in performance appraisal, and to evaluate the importance of maintaining integrity in the performance appraisal system. The research method: employed was as follows: A mixed-methods approach was employed, with qualitative data collected through interviews and quantitative data collected by administering questionnaires to employees in various companies. A total of 112 participants from different institutions were included in the study. The findings of this study: to provide organisations with a roadmap for strengthening the integrity and impact of their performance management systems. The conclusion of this study: is that there are three key areas for improvement: aligning OKRs/KPIs to rewards, implementing transparent feedback loops, and equipping managers to cultivate a fair, motivating appraisal process that enhances employee satisfaction and organisational outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Stunting adalah masalah kesehatan yang signifikan di Indonesia, terutama di daerah dengan tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi. Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dan peningkatan gizi masyarakat merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam mengatasi masalah ini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan risiko stunting melalui program pendampingan usaha bandeng di RW 07 Kelurahan Rawajati. Metode: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan melibatkan masyarakat lokal dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Pendampingan ini mencakup pelatihan teknis, manajemen usaha, dan edukasi gizi untuk masyarakat setempat. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan usaha bandeng dan pentingnya gizi seimbang. Selain itu, pendapatan rumah tangga dari usaha bandeng meningkat, yang berdampak positif terhadap akses terhadap makanan bergizi. Kesimpulan: Pemberdayaan UMKM dan edukasi gizi dapat secara efektif menurunkan risiko stunting. Pendampingan usaha bandeng di RW 07 Kelurahan Rawajati tidak hanya meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi tetapi juga kesadaran gizi, yang keduanya berkontribusi pada pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Career maturity is the direction of development and career expectations desired by students. This survey research aims to determine the level of career maturity of class XII students in career decisions. This research was conducted on 279 class XII students in Ngabang sub-district. The instrument in this study used a CDSE-SF questionnaire (Betz Karen, 2012). This questionnaire consists of five indicators and each indicator has 5 statement items. The results showed that the indicators for self-assessment were moderate, indicators for job information were high, indicators for selecting goals were moderate, indicators for planning were low, indicators for problem solving were moderate and in general, the maturity level of career decisions for grade XII students was at a moderate level 57%. Thus the results of this study will provide meaningful results and can be used as a reference for BK teachers and stakeholders to prepare for better career maturity. Suggestions for further research are very important for all XII graders with a larger sample size, so that the results will be more comprehensive.

Abstract

Ikan patin (Pangasionodon hypophthalmus) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan yang banyak dibudidayakan dan diproduksi secara massal di Indonesia yang memiliki peluang pengembangan dalam skala industri sebagai ikan konsumsi karena mempunyai potensi pengembangan ekonomi yang tinggi. Namun dalam pengembangannya tidak terlepas dari permasalahan budidaya, salah satunya adanya serangan penyakit Enteric Septicemia of Catfish (ESC) yang disebabkan Edwarsiella ictaluri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah praktik langsung terhadap ikan P. hypophthalmus dan diamati morfologi bakteri secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis, serta biokimiawi sesuai dengan standar uji biokimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakteri yang menginfeksi P. hypothlasmus adalah E. ictaluri.
