Abstract

Negative beliefs cause many problems in living life so that it can prevent oneself from developing healthy self-esteem, prevent oneself from feeling fulfilled in life, prevent individuals from developing healthy relationships. Negative beliefs can limit what is seen and lead to actions against the best interests of our loved ones and ourselves. Guidance and Counseling Using Cinematherapy can be used to reduce these negative beliefs. Cinematherapy is defined as an umbrella term for a therapeutic process that involves the assignment of films to clients in order to promote and enhance therapeutic benefits. This study uses a single case experimental designs using the A-B-A design with one subject. From the hypothesis test, the result of the Asmyp probability number is obtained. Sig.(2-tailed) is 0.068, or the probability is above alpha 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05). From these results, Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that cinematherapy is effectively used to reduce negative beliefs

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, kinerja Guru terhadap Efektifitas Kerja Tim Sekolah di SD Cidugaleun Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Kepala sekolah dan guru yang berjumlah 9 orang dipilih menjadi sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan instrumen berupa angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis korelasi, regresi  dan menguji setiap hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan. Kesimpulan penelitian menemukan gambaran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah  berada pada kategori  tinggi, Kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi, dan efektivitas kerja tim sekolah berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja tim sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan, maka penulis merekomendasikan pihak-pihak terkait penyelenggara satuan pendidikan untuk melakukan berbagai upaya perbaikan secara preventif pada  setiap variabel. Beberapa hal yang perlu tingkatkan diantaranya peningkatan kualifikasi akademik kepala sekolah, kerja sama, peningkatan pelayanan pengajaran terhadap siswa dan penilaian terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang menyeluruh sehingga berdampak terhadap peningkatkan mutu sekolah.

Abstract

 This research was based on insufficient data on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among victims of natural disasters in Indonesia. Determining the prevalence of PTSD and examining characteristics of PTSD symptoms in children and adolescents victims of natural disasters were the objectives of this study. Survey research design has been used in this study. There were 859 children and adolescents in the research samples with 485 participants from West Java (56.5%) and 374 participants from West Sumatra (43.5%). Downs Posttraumatic Stress Scale has been used as the research instrument. There were 171 participants (19.9%) met the criteria of PTSD diagnosis. The research findings indicated that the time span of catastrophic events was not significantly related to the differences in the prevalence of PTSD. Adolescents and female-adolescents were known had more risk of having PTSD. Age category and gender were known providing variation in the prevalence, intensity, and frequency of PTSD symptoms. Chronic or delayed response of PTSD symptoms and the differences of characteristics of post-traumatic stress symptoms by age category and gender were the conclusions of this research.Keywords: PTSD, Prevalence, Intensity, Frequency, CharacteristicsABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang memadainya data tentang gangguan stres pascatrauma (PTSD) pada anak dan remaja korban bencana alam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi PTSD serta memahami karakteristik gangguan PTSD yang dialami peserta didik korban bencana alam, Rancangan penelitian survey digunakan pada penelitian ini. Terdapat 859 anak dan remaja berusia antara 8 sampai dengan 17 tahun yang menjadi sampel penelitian dengan 485 partisipan berasal dari Jawa Barat (56,5%) dan 374 partisipan berasal dari Sumatra Barat (43,5%). Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Downs Posttraumatic Stress Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 171 orang (19,9%) memenuhi kriteria diagnosis PTSD. Diketahui bahwa kelompok usia remaja dan kelompok perempuan remaja lebih beresiko mengalami PTSD. Penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya respon trauma yang bersifat kronis atau respon tertunda. Temuan penelitian ini juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan gejala trauma antara kelompok anak dan remaja serta kelompok laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan masih membekasnya memori tentang bencana, adanya bentuk coping kognitif maladaptif serta distorsi kognitif, serta terjadinya masalah sosial-emosi, pada anak dan remaja korban bencana alam.Kata Kunci: PTSD, Prevalensi,intensitas, frekuensi, Karakteristik.

Abstract

The educational process in the new normal era presents challenges for teachers in order to accelerate the increase in learning activities for students and achieve comprehensive and optimal education based on needs, as well as student development. One of the main focuses at the elementary school level is strengthening character education. The purpose of this article is to conduct training on the application of strengthening character education through traditional games based on the Socratic Method for teachers in elementary schools in Tasikmalaya. The implementer of this community service program were lecturers of UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. The method of implementing the service was carried out through several stages, namely Focus Group Discussion (FGD), seminars/training, workshops, and mentoring as well as supervision and evaluation. The research was located in Tasikmalaya, while the target was teachers in elementary schools. The results of this activity were obtained by the teachers regarding the strengthening of theory and practice (planning, implementation, evaluation) of traditional games that were integrated with the Socratic Method in an effort to develop character values in students. The teachers responded well to this learning innovation as a form of increasing their competence. The implication of this activity is that teachers are expected to be able to apply their knowledge to students in their respective schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan kepribadian pada Mahasiswa berdasarkan Teori kepribadian humanistik rogers dan implikasinya terhadap Bimbingan dan Konseling di Perguruan Tinggi. Partisipan adalah 61 mahasiswa PGPAUD pada salah satu Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia tahun akademik 2021. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kepribadian adalah instrumen Kepribadian Humanistik Carl Rogers yang didalamnya termasuk aspek (1) Meningkatnya keterbukaan terhadap pengalaman, (2) Kecenderungan terhadap hidup yang eksistensial, (3) Meningkatnya kepercayaan pada organisme, (4) Kebebasan memilih, (5) Kreativitas (6) Konstruktif dan terpercaya, dan (7) Kehidupan yang kaya warna. Berdasaran hasil hasil uji analisis deskriptif, diperoleh hasil bahwa Karakteristik Kepribadian Mahasiswa masuk pada kategori tinggi dalam semua aspek teori kepribadian humanistik Carl R. Rogers: The Fully Functioning Person. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan dalam penyusunan program dan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di perguruan tinggi. Abstract

Meski banyak studi yang dilakukan terkait social presence (kehadiran sosial) termasuk di masa pandemi COVID-19, jumlah penelitian yang bertujuan memeriksa perkembangan penelitian terkait social presence masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perkembangan penelitian yang berfokus pada social presence dalam pembelajaran online menggunakan metode analisis bibliometrik. Analisis dilakukan terhadap artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal yang terindeks Google Scholar dalam rentang tahun 2012-2022. Pengumpulan data publikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Publish or Perish. Kemudian, data diolah dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan VOSViewer. Aplikasi VOSViewer digunakan untuk membuat visualisasi jaringan bibliometrik yakni network visualization, density visualization, dan overlay visualization. Hasil identifikasi terhadap publikasi-publikasi yang ada mengindikasikan bahwa kepuasan belajar siswa (students’ satisfaction) merupakan salah satu topik yang berkaitan erat dengan social presence. Meskipun ada peningkatan yang signifikan pada masa pandemi COVID-19, jumlah rata-rata publikasi terkait isu ini antara tahun 2012 dan 2022 masih relatif kecil, yakni hanya mencapai 9 publikasi per tahun. Selain itu, penelitian terkait social presence juga erat kaitannya dengan konsep Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework yang memiliki tiga elemen utama yakni social presence, teaching presence, dan cognitive presence. Sehingga, masih diperlukan banyak penelitian terkait social presence terutama terkait dengan kepuasan siswa dan CoI framework

Abstract

Hope is one of the dimensions of character strength needed in individual personal development. Various instruments continue to be developed to measure a particular hope. The hope scale instrument must be adapted to each culture and country. However, in Indonesia, there has been no research on the development and validation of the hope scale. This study aimed to develop and validate the Indonesian Hope Scale (IHS) using Rasch's model analysis. Participants in this study are 323 students (99 male and 224 female) aged 13-25 years. This study consisted of junior high school students, senior high school students, college students, and postgraduate students. The results showed that Cronbach's Alpha was in the excellent category with a value is 0.82. The item reliability value is 0.99, and the person reliability value is 0.82. The results of Rasch's analysis show that the psychometric characteristics of the 20 items from the Indonesia Hope Scale can meet the requirements and can be used to measure expectations by professionals.

Abstract

Competence possessed by teachers in carrying out educational activities is required to utilize ICT as a learning tool—education and training activities for teachers to improve competency. Educators can optimally utilize and use ICT as a learning aid, especially for educators in elementary schools. One of them is the use of ICT with the use of a learning management system (LMS). The study aimed to determine hybrid learning-based training for elementary school teachers in improving pedagogic competence. Implementing education and training activities for elementary school teachers was carried out at SD Negeri Sukasenang, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The target participants for this activity were elementary school teachers throughout Tasikmalaya Regency. Two hundred teachers from various sub-districts in Tasikmalaya Regency attended this training and education, divided into five classes. In this activity, there were 11 topics of training material, and each participant took part in 32 hours of lessons delivered using the hybrid learning method by utilizing a learning management system (LMS). The study results show that applying the LMS-based hybrid learning model of training and mentoring can be said to be effective. This is indicated by the level of attendance of participants in training and mentoring activities using LMS-based hybrid learning, the participants' understanding of the material provided, and the level of motivation of participants after participating in training and mentoring activities using LMS-based hybrid learning shows a good category.
