Abstract

This study examines the ability of three artificial intelligence (AI) models Copilot 3.7 Sonnet, Gemini 1.5, and DeepSeek-R1 to interpret Knot Semantic Logic (KSL), a topological framework emphasizing semantic symmetry in textual structures. A qualitative descriptive design with comparative analysis was employed. Structured prompts tested the models across three stages: basic concept mastery, analysis of symmetrical sentences, and generalization to new inputs. Performance was assessed using five indicators Conceptual Accuracy, Structural Accuracy, Generalization, Consistency, and Narrative Clarity combined into a KSL-AI Index. The results show distinct performance profiles. Copilot produced accessible explanations but lacked structural precision. Gemini demonstrated stability in recognizing semantic symmetry, supported by large-scale multimodal and multilingual training, although its technical style limited accessibility. DeepSeek showed strength in detecting simple patterns and basic logic but was less consistent and struggled with complex generalization tasks. The study validates KSL as an innovative evaluation tool, extending AI assessment beyond narrative fluency to structural semantic reasoning. It concludes that Copilot is best suited for pedagogical use, Gemini for consistent analytical tasks, and DeepSeek for exploratory analysis. Future work should integrate quantitative measures, multimodal testing, and broader model comparisons.

Abstract

Background: Iron (Fe) is a geochemically active element that needs to be monitored because excessive levels in water can reduce water quality and pose health risks. WHO sets a safe limit of Fe in drinking water at 0.3 mg/L. This condition demands an accurate, simple, and applicable Fe detection method without complex instruments. Objective: This study developed a digital imaging-based Fe(III) detection method using a natural reagent, malacca fruit extract, which is rich in gallic acid and forms a blue Fe-gallic acid complex. Methods: The study design included laboratory experiments involving gallic acid extraction, optimization of the Fe(III): extract ratio, optimization of measurement time, and evaluation of linearity, precision, accuracy, LoD, LoQ, and t-test against the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. Results: The results showed an optimum Fe(III): extract ratio of 1:2, with reaction stability up to the 5th minute. A linear relationship was obtained in the range of 0.1–2 ppm (R² = 0.9969), with an LoD of 0.1377 ppm and a LoQ of 0.4589 ppm. The %RSD values of 2.34–3.82% indicate good precision, while the accuracy ranges from 92.76–111.2%. A t-test confirmed that the digital imaging results were not significantly different from those of UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Conclusion: Overall, this method offers a portable, economical, and environmentally friendly analytical approach for Fe(III) detection and provides a basis for the development of digital application-based diagnostic systems using natural reagents.

Abstract

Kredit Pintar is one of the most widely used fintech applications in Indonesia, generating millions of user reviews on the Google Play Store that reflect diverse user experiences. These reviews provide valuable insights into application performance; however, extracting sentiment from such unstructured and imbalanced textual data remains a challenging task. This study aims to improve sentiment classification of Kredit Pintar user reviews by proposing a hybrid approach that integrates IndoBERT, SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique), and a stacking ensemble model. From 2020 to 2024, 2,278 user reviews were classified into positive, neutral, and negative categories based on star ratings. SMOTE was employed to rectify class imbalance, whereas IndoBERT gathered contextual representations of the Indonesian language. Furthermore, a stacking ensemble combining IndoBERT, Random Forest, and SVM (Support Vector Machine) was implemented to enhance classification performance. Experimental results show that IndoBERT without data balancing achieved an accuracy of 84%, whereas the proposed combination of IndoBERT, SMOTE, and stacking ensemble consistently produced superior performance, achieving 92% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The findings demonstrate that integrating language-specific transformer models with data balancing and ensemble techniques effectively improves sentiment classification. This study contributes to the advancement of Indonesian-language natural language processing in the fintech domain and provides practical insights for fintech developers in understanding user perceptions and improving digital financial services.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has created new opportunities to enhance the quality of learning in Early Childhood Education (ECE). This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of implementing Artificial Intelligence in ECE learning through a phenomenological approach. The research employed a qualitative method with research subjects consisting of ECE teachers and principals selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that AI provides opportunities to improve teacher creativity, efficiency in developing learning tools, creation of educational media, and provision of varied play activities. However, AI implementation still faces challenges such as limited digital literacy among teachers, infrastructure readiness, information validity, and ethical aspects of technology use. Teachers address these challenges through self-training, collaboration, and evaluation of AI-generated outputs. This study emphasizes that AI serves as a supporting technology for teacher professionalism, not as a replacement for human interaction in ECE learning
