Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan validitas modul kimia hijau yang dikembangkan dengan menerapkan pendekatan project-based learning (PjBL) untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan desain ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) sampai dengan tahap uji validitas dan kepraktisan. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran, serta respons peserta didik. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan perhitungan persentase untuk menentukan kategori validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul kimia hijau berbasis PjBL memperoleh skor validitas aspek materi sebesar 87,5% (sangat valid), aspek media sebesar 85% (sangat valid), dan aspek desain pembelajaran sebesar 88% (sangat valid). Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan respons guru sebesar 92% (sangat praktis) dan respons siswa sebesar 90% (sangat praktis). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah modul kimia hijau dengan menerapkan project-based learning telah terbukti valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif siswa SMA. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan bahan ajar inovatif yang mengintegrasikan isu lingkungan dengan pembelajaran kimia yang bermakna.Kata kunci: Karakter kreatif, modul kimia hijau, project-based learning, siswa SMA. This study aims to determine the validity of a green chemistry module developed using a project-based learning (PjBL) approach to enhance the creative character of senior high school students. The research employed a development method using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), limited to the stages of validity and practicality testing. Data were collected through expert validation sheets covering material, media, and instructional design, as well as student response questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques and percentage calculations to determine validity categories. The results showed that the PjBL-based green chemistry module achieved a validity score of 87.5% (very valid) for the material aspect, 85% (very valid) for the media aspect, and 88% (very valid) for the instructional design aspect. Practicality testing indicated very positive responses, with teacher responses at 92% (very practical) and student responses at 90% (very practical). In conclusion, the green chemistry module implemented through project-based learning has been proven to be valid and practical for use in learning to enhance the creative character of senior high school students. These findings contribute significantly to the development of innovative teaching materials that integrate environmental issues with meaningful chemistry learning.Keywords: Creative character, green chemistry module, project-based learning, senior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) in improving the performance of early childhood education institutions in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) at UIN Raden Fatah. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed through data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation involving program leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. The results indicate that the implementation of management functions has been carried out systematically: planning includes the formulation of vision and mission as well as structured work programs; organizing is conducted through a clear division of tasks; the implementation of academic and non-academic activities is relatively in accordance with the plan despite some technical constraints; and controlling is conducted through periodic evaluations. This effective implementation contributes to improving learning quality, educators’ professionalism, and institutional management effectiveness. Therefore, continuous optimization of management functions is the key to improving the quality of early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on critical thinking skills and character development in elementary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest–posttest design group design. The study population consisted of fifth-grade students of Indrasari 1 Public Elementary School, Martapura District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, consisting of three classes. Two classes were randomly selected as research samples, namely class VA as the experimental class implementing PjBL and class VC as the control class, each consisting of 35 students. Data analysis was carried out using one sample t-test, MANOVA with Hotelling's T² criteria, and independent t-test. The results of the assumption test showed that the data met the analysis requirements, both multivariate normality (sig. 0.12–0.86 > 0.05), multivariate homogeneity (Box's M pretest = 4.161; sig. = 0.087 and posttest = 2.906; sig. = 0.840), univariate normality (sig. 0.07–0.20 > 0.05), and homogeneity of variance (critical thinking ability sig. = 0.430; character sig. = 0.671). The MANOVA results before treatment showed no difference in the initial mean between the two groups (Hotelling's T² = 0.016; F = 0.546; sig. = 0.582 > 0.05). The results of the study showed that PjBL learning was effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and character, compared to conventional learning
