Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran Novick dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV SD pada materi pecahan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaborasi, dengan mengacu rancangan model John Elliot. Penelitian kolaborasi merupakan penelitian dengan 2 atau lebih peneliti dalam melaksanakan dan menyusun penelitian bersama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 tahap, yaitu tahap pertama melakukan pra siklus dan tahap kedua melakukan 3 siklus pembelajaran. Populasi dalam penelitan ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar yang terdiri dari 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Tes berguna untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa saat proses pembelajaran sudah mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan ataukah belum. Tes yang digunaan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk soal uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV SD dari siklus I hingga siklus III yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Novick.

Abstract

Science education at the elementary school level is essential for fostering scientific thinking patterns and developing 21st-century skills, including science process skills (SPS). However, prior studies indicate that students’ SPS particularly in Muara Bulian District, Jambi remain at a low level due to the predominant use of lecture-based methods and the limited opportunities for scientific exploration. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on the local environment in improving the SPS of fifth-grade students at SDN 34/1 Teratai, Muara Bulian. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pretest-posttest control group. The results show a significant improvement in the experimental group’s average SPS scores, increasing from 62.40 to 85.70 with a gain score of 0.63 (moderate category). Meanwhile, the control group’s scores increased from 61.80 to 73.40 with a gain score of 0.38 (low category). The enhancement was observed across all SPS indicators, including observing, classifying, interpreting, designing experiments, and communicating. These findings suggest that the environment-based PjBL model is effective in enhancing students’ SPS and contributes to a more contextual, active, and meaningful science learning experience. Therefore, this model can serve as an alternative strategy to improve the quality of physics and science education at the elementary level.

Abstract

Kecemasan anak yang menjalani hospitalisasi memiliki dampak yang cukup buruk jika dibiarkan karena dapat menyebabkan stres. Stres pada anak dapat menimbulkan penurunan respon imun sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap proses penyembuhan, hal ini menjadi masalah yang serius jika tidak ada intervensi yang dilakukan. Maka dari itu salah satu intervensi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan kecemasan hospitalisasi dengan menggunakan audiovisual metode VR box yang bermanfaat untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan anak. Tujuan penelitiasn ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengaruh audiovisual metode VR Box untuk penurunan kecemasan hospitalisasi pada anak school dengan penyakit ISPA sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan terapi audiovisual metode VR Box di RSU Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre eksperiment dengan one group pre-post test design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 60 responden  yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin. Pengambilan sampel menggunakanteknik nonprobability sampling dengan penggunaan purposive sampling. Hasil Penelitian menemukan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi audiovisual metode VR box sebesar (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan VR box terhadap tingkat kecemasan hospitalisasi pada anak school dengan penyakit ISPA di RSU Kota Tangerang Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in implementing the center-based learning model at TK Bungong Seleupoek within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers consistently use an everyday life approach in teaching by connecting center activities to children’s real-life experiences. Teachers begin lessons with personal interactions such as greetings, asking about students’ well-being, and using concrete teaching aids aligned with the learning theme. This approach emphasizes not only learning outcomes but also enjoyable and meaningful learning processes. Teachers routinely conduct evaluations and develop new strategies to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the learning process. These findings reinforce the importance of consistency in using everyday approaches in early childhood education aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum philosophy.

Abstract

Industrializing of tagatose requires enzymes that meet to industrial need such as thermophile, slightly acidic and metal independent. Previously, we cloned, sequenced and expressed L-arabinose isomerase from Geobacillus stearothermophilus isolated from Tanjung Api, Poso, Indonesia. Based on DNA alignment analysis, the gene had high homology with those of G. stearothermophilus T6 (Gene Bank Acc No: AAD45718) which has optimum activity at high temperature and alkaline condition. In this paper, we described site-directedmutagenesis approach to mutate Glu-269 (Q269) to Lys-269 (K269) to decrease the optimum pH of the strain. Sequencing result showed that mutagenesis had been successful to mutate amino acid at position 269 from glutamine (Q) into lysine (K). Expression of mutant Q269 showed protein with molecular mass ~56 kDa.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is an action taken to improve individual and community health through daily habits that support cleanliness and health. This empowerment aims to understanding of PHBS through educational programs involving lectures, discussions and questions and answers. This program was held on 23-24 September 2023 and was attended by 57 grade 7 students. The pre-test and post-test results showed an increase in students' knowledge from an average score of 6.49 to 8.91, indicating the effectiveness of the educational program in increasing awareness and knowledge about PHBS. The main emphasis in this program is the importance of washing hands properly to prevent disease, as well as the role of a clean school environment in supporting student health and learning achievement. The research conclusion shows that education about PHBS is effective in increasing students' knowledge, which in turn can contribute to creating a healthier school environment and supporting learning achievement. Support from families and schools, as well as the active role of the School Health Unit (UKS), is very important in maintaining and improving clean and healthy living behavior among students.

Abstract

Permenkes Nomor 24 Tahun 2022 tentang Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME), mendorong penerapan RME di pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian adalah meninjau kesiapan penerapan Rekam Medis Elektronik di rawat inap RSUD Pondok Aren menggunakan pendekatan 5M (Man, Money, Material dan Mechine). Metode penelitian mengunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan lembar ceklis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Aspek Man dari sisi pendidikan sudah memadai namun kurang pelatihan terkait RME, aspek methode belum memadai karena belum tersedia SPO rekam medis elektronik di rawat inap, aspek Mechine belum sepenuhnya memadai karena komputer terbatas dan belum tersedia scanner, aspek money sudah memadai karena sudah di alokasikan dana pengadaan atau perawatan RME, aspek material belum sepenuhnya memadai karena beberapa unit belum sesuai tamplate yang ada di SIMRS. Kesimpulan: kesiapan implementasi Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pondok Aren menunjukkan dari aspek Man, petugas telah memiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang sesuai, hanya belum pelatihan terkait penggunaan RME. Pada aspek methode, rumah sakit telah memiliki Surat Keputusan tentang RME, dan belum dilengkapi dengan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SPO) penggunaan RME di unit rawat inap. Dari aspek mechine, sudah terpenuhi seperti komputer, printer, dan UPS, namun belum tersedia scanner di seluruh unit. Pada aspek material, SIMRS yang digunakan (SIMGos) perlu pengembangan. Pada aspek Money, rumah sakit telah mengalokasikan dana untuk pengadaan dan pemeliharaan sistem RME.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery is a fundamental component of English language learning at the elementary school level. However, vocabulary instruction in schools remains largely teacher-centered, resulting in limited student engagement. The integration of the Silent Way method with Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers the potential to create a more autonomous, interactive, and context-rich learning experience. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control groups. Students were divided into two groups: the experimental group, which received vocabulary instruction using an AI-assisted Digital Silent Way model, and the control group, which received conventional instruction. The vocabulary test instrument was developed based on established indicators, validated by experts, and tested for reliability prior to use. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, and were analyzed using prerequisite statistical tests and mean difference tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The findings indicate no significant difference between the groups at the outset. However, after the intervention, the experimental group demonstrated a marked improvement in vocabulary mastery compared to the control group. The most substantial gains were observed in the ability to use derived words accurately in context. These results suggest that the AI-assisted Digital Silent Way model effectively enhances students’ vocabulary acquisition and promotes active, self-directed learning. This study contributes to the development of innovative English language teaching strategies that align with technological advances and the learning needs of young learners. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada perubahan digital yang terjadi di desa melalui studi tentang BUMDes Obor Net Sudimara, yang terletak di Kecamatan Cilongok, Kabupaten Banyumas. Dalam konteks perbedaan akses teknologi antara daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami strategi dan dampak dari penerapan teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara dengan individu kunci, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BUMDes Obor Net Sudimara telah menciptakan model layanan internet yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan, tetapi juga berkomitmen untuk memberdayakan masyarakat setempat. Dengan filosofi "Olahing Budi Olahing Raga," BUMDes ini berhasil menarik 75 pelanggan dan membangun 25 titik infrastruktur jaringan, sambil menerapkan manajemen yang transparan dan efektif. Keberhasilan ini dicapai dengan menggabungkan semangat kewirausahaan dan kepedulian sosial, menawarkan tarif layanan yang terjangkau sebesar Rp 110.000 per rumah. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan masalah sumber daya manusia, BUMDes Obor Net Sudimara menunjukkan ketahanan dan potensi transformasi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini tidak hanya mengidentifikasi tantangan tersebut, tetapi juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan berkelanjutan, termasuk peningkatan sistem pembayaran, penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, diversifikasi pendanaan, dan penerapan strategi pemasaran digital yang lebih baik. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman tentang bagaimana BUMDes dapat berfungsi sebagai agen perubahan digital di tingkat lokal. Dengan menyoroti pentingnya inovasi teknologi dalam pembangunan pedesaan yang inklusif, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang cara desa dapat memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mempercepat kemajuan ekonomi dan sosial. Selain itu, studi ini juga menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pengembangan BUMDes di era digital, yang bermanfaat bagi praktisi, pembuat kebijakan, dan peneliti di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The curriculum is a plan or framework that determines what will be taught in education. The curriculum serves as a guideline that establishes the direction, educational goals, and the materials that need to be learned. Enderun Islamic is a Kindergarten that not only implements the Merdeka Curriculum but also integrates the Turkish curriculum. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Sulaimaniyah curriculum in developing children's competencies at Enderun Islamic Preschool. Using a qualitative approach, a case study research type was selected to explore the unique and specific implementation of the Sulaimaniyah curriculum in this institution. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this research were the principal and one of the teachers at Enderun Kindergarten. Data analysis was conducted using the Milles & Huberman technique, which includes three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the Sulaimaniyah curriculum implements religion-based and character education, the stages of the Sulaimaniyah curriculum, flagship programs of the Sulaimaniyah curriculum, learning media sourced directly from Turkey, and the evaluation of the Sulaimaniyah curriculum.
