Abstract

Dalam kajian modern sains, jiwa sebagai objek materil konseling tidak dipandang sebagai subtansi materil yang berkelindan antara dunia fisik dan metafisik, tetapi hanya terlingkar pada sistem biologis semata ataupun terpaku pada kecanggihan sistem neurologis otak. Hal ini berbeda jika dipandang dari konseling Islam yangreligion sains, para filosof muslim seperti Ibnu Miskawaih, Ibnu Sina, Mulla Shadra memandang jiwa—sebagai objek materil konseling, memiliki substansi immateril (metafisik) yang terkait erat dengan intelek samawi yang immaterial pula. bimbingan konseling Islam berdimensi luas, capaiannya tidak hanya sebatas mengoptimalkan perkembangan pribadi-sosial, perkembangan karir, dan perkembangan belajar atau akademik konseli, melainkan jauh lebih luas yakni mengoptimalkan dimensi immateril mereka.

Abstract

This study addresses the limited implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model in primary schools, despite its proven potential to enhance students’ higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and problem-solving abilities. The research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the RME model in improving mathematics learning outcomes among sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Masbagik Timur during the 2025/2026 academic year. A quantitative experimental design was employed, involving 18 purposively selected students. Data were collected using validated and reliable pretest and posttest instruments. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, normality testing, paired sample t-tests, and effect size measurement. Results indicated a significant improvement in students' performance, with the mean posttest score (M = 72.36) notably higher than the pretest score (M = 53.19). The paired t-test confirmed this improvement as statistically significant (t = -6.774, p < 0.001), while the effect size analysis yielded a very large Cohen’s d value of 1.60. These findings demonstrate that the RME model effectively enhances mathematical achievement, particularly in students’ ability to interpret problems, develop solution strategies, and critically assess outcomes. The study concludes that embedding realistic and contextualized problems into mathematics instruction significantly promotes student-centered learning and strengthens HOTS-oriented problem-solving capabilities. It recommends that educators and curriculum designers adopt RME-based approaches to foster more meaningful and active learning environments. Future research should consider larger sample sizes and longitudinal designs to assess the long-term impact and generalizability of RME implementation.

Abstract

Tragedi wafatnya Utsman bin Affan telah memunculkan persoalan baru: pergolakan politik, pertentangan hingga peperangan yang di alami kaum muslim. Penilitian ini berusaha untuk mengetahui dampak tragedi wafatnya Utsman bin Affan terhadap kepemimpinan Khalifah Ali bin Abi Thalib. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah (historiografi), dengan jenis kajian pustaka (library research), sehingga sumber data primer dan sekunder diperoleh dari buku-buku, jurnal dan karya lainnya. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah melalui empat tahap yaitu heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi dan historiografi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan sains dan sikap terhadap lingkungan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Loyok, hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan di SDN 1 Loyok menunjukkan adanya sikap yang masih kurang positif di dalam diri siswa terkait dengan upaya pelestarian lingkungan. Hal ini tampak dari keseharian siswa yang masih menunjukkan perilaku negatif seperti membuang sampah sembarangan, mencoret tembok sekolah, dan lain lain. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sikap yang diharapkan dari para siswa di SDN 1 Loyok, terkait dengan pelestarian lingkungan, masih perlu di tingkatkan agar lebih positif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Pertimbangan menggunakan metode ex post facto adalah menginghat bahwa data-data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini sudah ada, tetapi belum diukur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Loyok Kecamatan Sikur tahun pelajaran 2024/2025, yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa, terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Untuk mendapatkan data pengetahuan sains siswa digunakan tes pilihan ganda dengan jumlah soal 30 buah pilihan ganda. Sedangkan untuk mendapatkan data sikap, digunakan angket dengan jumlah pernyataan 24 dan lembar obseravsi sikap siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, kesimpulan yang dicapai adalah bahwa terdapat korelasi antara pengetahuan sains dan sikap terhadap lingkungan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Loyok tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Hal ini tampak hasil analisis bahwa harga r-hitung > r-tabel (0.815 > 0.456). Jadi Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = N – 1 = 20 – 1 = 19. Dengan melihat harga r hitung, maka disimpulkan bahwa korelasi bersifat kuat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan sains yang dimiliki oleh siswa memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap siswa tersebut terhadap upaya menjaga lingkungan hidup di sekolah. Semakin tinggi tingkat pengetahuan sains siswa, maka akan semakin positif pula sikap mereka terhdap lingkungan.

Abstract

This article examines the visualization of violence experienced by the Palestinian people against Israeli occupation in the Graphic Novel by Joe Sacco. This study is literature research using David Wasterfors' social theory of "Violence as a story". The primary data sources in this study are the graphic novels Palestine (2002) and Footnotes in Gaza (2010). This study uses a historical approach with the method of reading comic studies (science) to describe visually (images) and narratively based on the experiences of documentary studies (memorials) of the Palestinian people's struggle for independence. Through the "Violence as a Story" approach, this study found Joe Sacco's skill in telling the story of violence experienced by the Palestinian people against Israeli occupation from the beginning of the war in 1948 to the events that occurred in the graphic novel by combining images (visuals) and appropriate narratives as panels in the graphic novel. Readers are made to feel as if they are entering and feeling what the Palestinians feel.Keywords :

Abstract

Pekan Sawah Village is located in Sei Bingei District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. This village is 75 km from the city of Medan, which can be reached using a four-wheeled vehicle in 1.5 hours with the asphalt road conditions that are quite good. The residents of Pekan Sawah Village are generally the Karo tribe, which covers 80% of the total population. In general, the population is now doing business with oil palm, rubber, and only a small portion of them still maintains land farming businesses such as corn, long beans, etc. The high number of oil palm planters, which reaches 80% of the population, causes high unemployment in this village. This is because the work to carry out maintenance to harvest is very limited. But on the other hand there is oil palm leaf midrib waste which is a result of the castration process and or the oil palm fruit harvesting process itself. This waste is now made into sticks, which are then sold per kilo to the estimator, which is increasingly expensive and the available stock is very limited, while market demand is high. However, the residents experienced problems in trying to separate the sticks from the leaves. Work is done conventionally one by one so it takes a long time. This results in low productivity of sticks in this area. The entry of the USU Community Services Implementation Team raises new hopes for the community to be able to find solutions that are faced by this community. Complaints about the production of oil palm stick broomsticks were immediately raised by the traditional leaders in Pekan Sawah Village. The USU Community Services Implementation Team immediately formed a problem-solving team. Several lecturers were involved in this activity, including providing education on the correct disposal of palm oil waste for residents. This activity is also assisted by 5 students who have been trained to take action to solve this problem. Now the people of Pekan Sawah Village can increase their lid production using this stick machine.

Abstract

Until now, it seems that electricity is still a challenge in Indonesia, there are still many who have not enjoyed electricity for those who live in suburban or coastal areas, and some are located not far from cities. The target area is relatively close to the center of the capital, but has escaped the attention of the government because the location is quite remote with a minimal population, so it is considered uneconomical to provide electricity to this area. This hamlet is also inhabited by less than 18 families, so that only those with an interest are left in and out of this hamlet. The remote location from one house to another makes the construction of the electricity network no longer efficient for State Electricity Company. Therefore, people must be willing to live without electricity. Lighting as a basic need must be met from an oil lamp (sentir). Some residents who have a few advantages will buy individual generators. This generator only operates from 06.30 pm to 09.00 pm. After entering the sleep time, the generator is immediately turned off, the lighting is continued using an oil lamp. The emergence of the USU Community Services Implementing Team to this partner area provided new hope for the community. The community enthusiastically complained about this condition and hoped that the USU Community Services Implementation Team could help with these residents' problems. The results of monitoring by the Community Services Implementing Team at several residents 'houses proved the residents' complaints. Electric lighting as a basic need for residents is believed to be able to be completed using existing knowledge at the university in the form of lighting using solar power. Science and Technology The USU Community Services Team through the joining program has now produced economical science and technology products and realizes the expectations of the people in this region. Now people can enjoy light for 24 hours using electricity from solar energy. The community would like to thank the team and university for the scientific products that were donated to this village.

Abstract

Anak usia dini menurut Sistem Pendidikan Nasional No. 20 Tahun 2003 pasal 1 ayat 14 adalah anak yang berada pada usia lahir sehingga usia 6 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan tantangan pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbasis game android pada lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dari berbagai sumber bacaab seperti e-book, jurnal dan procceding. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi saat ini seharusnya bisa dimanfaatkan dengan tepat karena dengan memanfaatkan teknologi bisa membantu dan memudahkan dalam berbagai hal seperti belajar. Peran guru dan orang tua sangat penting bagi tumbuh kembang anak dalam belajar bahasa Inggris, dan faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan belajar adalah materi yang sesuai dan menarik. Dengan pendekatan metode tertentu, anak-anak zaman akan mudah memahami apa yang mereka pelajari. Salah satu model pembelajaran bahasa inggris yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan model pembelajaran berbasis game android. Dengan model pembelajaran yang seperti ini pembelajaran akan berlangsung lebih menarik dan tentunya akan menambah semangat peserta didik dalam belajar. Pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbasis game android yang memanfaatkan media smartphone harus benar-benar dalam pengawasan dan kendali orang tua agar anak terhindar dari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan

Abstract

Changes in people's behavior towards women's lack of equality and human rights Women as a whole have not been able to gain the right to grow and equate with men. Women tend to become marginalized individuals and become subordinate to men. We know why many cigarette factories employ women as laborers, while men are employed in important roles such as corporate managers, overseers, and staff of tobacco companies. So why are there so many women who are placed as workers or regular employees? This indicates a lack of equality for women, and always assume that man is still regarded as a strong figure and responsible for finding and positioning the company or factory. Whereas women are weaker figures assigned to organize and as ordinary employers may even be merely appropriate for household affairs. When women enter the world of work, they are still faced with disenchanted behavior and a lack of justice for equality between men and women. In the competition of the working world, women are also in the lowest position compared with men. It is needed to give women opportunities to get equal access to men. This goal can be realized if the regulations made by the state are carried out properly and if the company is committed to giving fair treatment to women, eliminating gender discrimination, and providing human rights and equality between men and women.

Abstract

The implementation of this Community Service was carried out from January 07 2023 to March 19 2023 in Sudimoro Village going well. The purpose of this service is to explain the use of yard land in RT 19 Sudimoro Village Making TOGA a supply of family the herbal medicines in RT 19 Sudimoro Village. the Participatory Action Research (PAR) service method carried out in the implementation of community service includes: Observation (observation), Action (action). Reflection The result is the result obtained from this service in the village of Sudimoro. The community members are starting to understand the importance of utilizing the empty yards they have around their house. One of the positive activities they do’s to plant medicinal plants to provide natural medicine. for their families. So that. the use of natural medicines can be cultivated. this activity can help the empowered people in preserving the use of vacant land by cultivating medicinal plants as natural medicines for families. The medicinal plants are seen to have advantages compared to chemical drugs in circulation such as not having side effect, easy to prepare, easy to get and the price is cheaper
