Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukkan novel Saga dari Samudra karya Ratih Kumala terdapat lima bentuk deiksis yang berupa deiksis persona pertama tunggal yang berupa saya, aku, -ku, ku-; persona pertama jamak berbentuk kami dan kita; persona kedua tunggal kamu, kau, -mu dan sapaan ketidaklaziman untuk persona kedua tunggal; persona kedua jamak berupa kalian; persona ketiga tunggal berupa dia, ia, dan variasi -nya; dan persona ketiga jamak berupa mereka. Deiksis tempat ditemukan di sini, ke sini, di sana, ke sana, sini, di sini, dan ke sini. Deiksis waktu menunjukkan waktu lampau malam itu, ketika itu, suatu maghrib, tadi, pagi itu, siang itu; yang sedang terjadi kini, hari menjelang sore, menjelang malam,hari ini, pagi ini; yang akan terjadi besok, suatu hari. Deiksis wacana sebagai penjelas ditandai dengan ini, itu, dan -nya. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the teachers' and students' learning activities, the students' motivation, and their learning outcomes through the PAIRING model in learning mathematics at elementary schools. The design of this study was classroom action researchcarried out at SDN Amparaya 2 for two cycles in four meetings. The results showed that the teachers' activities increased in cycles one and two with a score of 23 to 30 with very good criteria. Then, the students' activities in cycle one and cycle two classically increased from60% to 100%. The results of learning motivation in cycle one and cycle two increased from 77% to 93% with the criteria of high motivation. After that, the students' learning outcomes on the geometry material in cycle one and cycle two increased from 65% to 88% with the criteria for completion. The results of this study were expected to be used in learning to increase the learning activities, motivation, and learning outcomes in geometry material.

Abstract

This article describes an overview of elementary school students' interest in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic era based on a gender perspective through the indicators of students’ interest in learning. They are the feelings of pleasure or like towardsmathematics, students’ interest in learning mathematics, students' attention to learning mathematics, students’ involvement in the process of learning mathematics, and the satisfaction learning mathematics. The method used was qualitative with case study research. Researchers, teachers, and students consisting of 3 male and 3 female students came from one public elementary school in Tapin. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there were differences based on students’ interest in learning between male students who obtained a percentage score of 97.50% and female students who obtained a score of 96.67%. The data showed that male students were more interested in learning than female students. Yet, the difference was not significant. This finding indicated that in the process of learning mathematics, gender differences were not a variable that determined differences of students' interest in learning. Hence, in learning mathematics at elementary schools, the important thing was how teachers presented teaching and learning interestingly in order to make students have a good interest in learning.

Abstract

This article discusses students’ low mathematics achievement. It is indicated by the lack of students learning activities. This research is conducted to determine how the implementation of teacher and student activities in the teaching and learning processes through the PBL, SR, and QOD models has an impact on the improvement of students’ mathematics learning achievements, especially on cube and block subject matters. The research used is classroom action research, which is carried out in four meetings. The subjects in this research involve the fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 6 Banjarmasin. The instrument used is the teacher and students’ observation sheets in the teaching and learning processes and students’ learning outcomes based on the questions given at the end of the learning activity. The results of this research indicate that teacher activities are carried out based on the procedure with very good categories and students’ activities are categorized as very active and most students are very active in class. In addition, students’ learning outcomes individually and in groups that have achieved the minimum score are 70 > 82%. The result also indicates that by applying PBL, SR, and QOD learning models in the mathematical content of cube and block subject matters can be applied properly based on the procedures to increase students’ learning activity and mathematic achievement. This research is expected to be a reference to increase students’ achievement, especially in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine strategic evacuation locations and optimal evacuation routes for visitors in the Klayar Coast area, Pacitan Regency, based on tsunami modeling scenarios with wave heights of 8.5 meters and 20 meters. This region has a high level of tsunami vulnerability due to its direct exposure to the Indian Ocean and its location within a zone of regional tectonic activity, while the intensity of tourism activities has led to a significant increase in the number of people exposed to risk. The study applies tsunami hazard zone modeling based on topographic and elevation data, combined with evacuation route network analysis using a Geographic Information System (GIS). Evacuation travel time was calculated by considering route length, topographic conditions, and average evacuation speed under emergency conditions. The results show that the 20-meter tsunami scenario causes a significant expansion of high-hazard zones and increases evacuation travel time by approximately 3.5–6 minutes compared to the 8.5-meter scenario. Several evacuation routes and Temporary Evacuation Sites (TES) that are effective under the lower scenario become suboptimal under the higher scenario. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of travel-time-based evacuation route analysis with multi-scenario tsunami modeling in a coastal tourism area, providing a more adaptive spatial basis for tsunami mitigation planning. These findings emphasize the importance of worst-case-scenario-based evacuation planning and the strengthening of early warning systems to enhance visitor safety.

Abstract

This thesis examines the implementation of the Waterfront Management Policy in Pontianak City based on Mayoral Regulation Number 26 of 2019. The study uses a qualitative approach with Marilee S. Grindle's policy implementation theory, which examines the policy content and the context of its implementation. The findings indicate that the policy implementation has not fully complied with regulations, mainly due to the absence of a mechanism for enforcement against violating street vendors, resulting in the Waterfront facilities being widely used for selling. In addition, budget limitations due to efficiency policies have an impact on supervision. Another obstacle arises from vendors' resistance to relocation, which is based on customary land claims. Suggestions include revising the Mayoral Regulation by adding an article on street vendor enforcement, implementing an efficient operating scheduling system, and holding a dialogue forum between the government, the community, and stakeholders to support more effective policy implementation.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kecelakaan kerja ialah sebuah kejadian tidak terduga yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan maupun cedera. Kejadian ini dapat terjadi akibat kelalaian baik dari pihak perusahaan maupun pekerja. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui relasi antara umur, lama bekerja, pemahaman, perilaku, sikap, alat pelindung diri (APD) dan bising dan insiden akibat bekerja pada nelayan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Betoambari Kota Baubau. Metode: Studi ini ialah kuantitatif dengan survey analitik. Adapun jumlah sampel pada penelitian yaitu 57 nelayan. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil: ada hubungan antara umur dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0,016 (< 0,05), ada hubungan lama bekerja dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0,016 (< 0,05), ada hubungan pengetahuan dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0,012 (< 0,05), ada hubungan perilaku dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p = 0.002 (< 0,05), ada hubungan sikap dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0.004 (< 0,05), ada hubungan alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0.005 (< 0,05) dan tidak ada hubungan bising suara mesin kapal dengan kecelakaan kerja pada nelayan p-value = 0.187 (> 0,05). Kesimpulan: dapat disimpulkan ialah apabila pengetahuan nelayan baik maka sikap dan perilaku nelayan ikut baik dalam mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja saat melaut.

Abstract

Preserving traditional games is crucial to maintain cultural values and national identity, which are being threatened by technological developments and modern games. Traditional games are not just an entertainment, but also a platform for learning social and cultural values such as cooperation, honesty, and tolerance, which are essential for children's motor, cognitive, and character development. Therefore, introducing and preserving traditional games for early childhood is a strategic way to maintain cultural heritage and support their holistic development. This community service was addressed to Kartika XVII-18 Kindergarten in Palangka Raya where traditional games have not been explicitly integrated into learning activities. The local cultural content that students learn is still limited to artistic aspects such as traditional Dayak dances for ceremonial purposes and competitions. Meanwhile, implementing traditional games in the school environment is also hampered by the lack of supporting facilities for applying traditional games in learning activities. This community service was held with a participatory approach and hands-on learning through stages of socialization of traditional games, demonstrations, practice of traditional games by children, and joint evaluation/reflection which involves children and teachers actively.
