Abstract

The development of Islamic fiscal policy has become a strategic issue in the modern economy in line with increasing income distribution inequality, state fiscal pressures, and demands for sustainable development. Based on maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, Islamic fiscal policy offers a normative approach that emphasizes distributive justice, social welfare, and the role of the state through the instruments of zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, and ethical public spending. This research aims to map the intellectual structure, patterns of literary linkages, and the direction of research development at the intersection of Islamic fiscal and economic policy. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a coupling bibliometric analysis of the publication for the period 2021–2025 sourced from the Dimensions database, then visualized using the VOSviewer software. The results show the formation of several interconnected main clusters, with specific documents and authors occupying a central position based on high total link strength, reflecting conceptual consolidation in the themes of fiscal justice, redistribution instruments, and the integration of modern fiscal policies with sharia principles. In conclusion, the Islamic fiscal policy literature shows a strong level of scientific integration and cohesion, and has the potential to be an important foundation in the development of fair, inclusive, and sustainable public policies.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of seaweed production, cultivation area, selling prices, and market access on household welfare in seaweed farming communities. Seaweed is a strategic commodity in coastal economies, yet the welfare of farming households often remains vulnerable to production uncertainty, price volatility, and unequal access to markets. Using a quantitative research design, this study draws on survey data from 110 respondents to analyze the extent to which farm performance and market-related factors shape household welfare. The analytical framework includes descriptive statistics, a household welfare index, instrument reliability testing, and multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that selling price is the strongest predictor of household welfare, followed by production level, market access, and cultivation area. The model explains a substantial proportion of the variation in welfare, suggesting that improvements in farmer well-being depend not only on output expansion but also on stronger market integration and more stable marketing conditions. These results highlight the importance of price stabilization, improved access to market information, stronger farmer institutions, and better post-harvest and logistics systems. The study provides practical insight for designing rural development policies aimed at improving the resilience and welfare of coastal farming households.

Abstract

Marine tourism in Madura has great potential for economic growth, but its unsustainable management threatens the ecosystem and community welfare. A development strategy is needed that balances economic, social, and environmental aspects. The main challenge is the complexity of sustainable marine tourism development, where various factors are interrelated and require a holistic approach. Previous studies have identified factors that influence marine tourism, but have been lacking in integrating them into a comprehensive decision-making framework. This study aims to fill this gap by developing a Decision Support System (DSS) to help stakeholders formulate sustainable marine tourism development strategies. The main objective of this study is to develop a DSS based on Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) to map the relationships between key variables and provide strategy recommendations. The ISM approach is used to identify, analyze, and interpret the relationships between key variables. Data were collected through expert interviews, surveys, and literature studies. The study produced a hierarchical model that describes the influence and relationships between variables, as well as a DSS that is able to provide development strategy recommendations based on priorities and objectives. This study contributes to providing a structured and evidence-based decision-making tool for sustainable marine tourism development in Madura. The originality of this study lies in the integration of ISM into DSS for sustainable marine tourism, offering a new perspective in strategic decision-making.

Abstract

The Ludo game is a teaching tool used in science education. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using the ludo game in teaching the digestive system to students and its impact on their learning outcomes. The study was conducted in the fifth-grade class at SDN 005 Tarakan. It employed a one-group pretest-posttest design, with data analyzed using a t-test. The researcher administered a pretest before the instructional activities began. After the implementation of the Ludo game was completed, a posttest was administered at the end of the learning process. The result showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores for the digestive system Ludo game, as well as an excellent student response with a score of 82.08. the game encourage student to compete and collaborate in achieving learning objectivies simultaneously.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food crop in many Asian countries, including Indonesia, and plays a crucial role in ensuring food security and economic stability. However, rice production is significantly threatened by various leaf diseases, which can lead to substantial yield losses if not detected early. Traditional disease identification methods rely heavily on manual observation, making them inefficient and prone to errors, particularly in early stages when symptoms are less visible. This study aims to develop an automatic classification system for rice leaf diseases by combining K-Means clustering and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms using image segmentation techniques. The research utilized a dataset of 5,932 rice leaf images obtained from Kaggle, consisting of four disease categories: Bacterial Blight, Blast, Brown Spot, and Tungro. The methodology involved preprocessing steps including grayscale conversion, image resizing, and feature extraction, followed by segmentation using K-Means and classification using KNN with various K values. The results indicate that the combination method provides effective classification performance, with the highest accuracy achieved at 88% under a 90:10 training-testing data ratio. Additionally, smaller K values tend to yield better accuracy compared to larger ones. Despite some misclassification between visually similar diseases, the proposed model demonstrates strong potential for practical application. This system can assist farmers in early disease detection, reduce crop losses, and contribute to improving agricultural productivity through data-driven approaches.

Abstract

English proficiency is a crucial skill in the era of globalization, yet high school students often face challenges in actively practicing the language. This study examines the implementation and effectiveness of the "One Day in English" program at SMAN 1 Sidrap. The program adopts an immersive learning approach where students are required to use English throughout the day in various interactive activities. These activities include group discussions, presentations, daily conversations, and games aimed at enhancing both oral and written communication skills.Using observational methods and pre-and post-program assessments, the study evaluates improvements in students' English language abilities. The findings reveal significant progress in speaking fluency, vocabulary comprehension, and overall confidence in using English. Moreover, the interactive nature of the program fostered active student participation and created a supportive learning environment. This research highlights the potential of immersive learning strategies in addressing barriers to effective English learning. It offers a practical framework for schools to adopt similar programs to enrich language learning experiences and build students’ confidence in real-world communication.
