Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) identify the profile of students' initial reading learning, (2) design the Steinberg method assisted by Canva Media for initial reading learning, (3) determine students' responses to learning media using Canva Media, and (4) determine teachers' responses to the initial reading learning model through the Steinberg method assisted by Canva Media. The research method used was Research and Development (RD) based on the Dick, Carey, and Carey framework. The research results indicate that: (1) the development of the early reading model through the Steinberg method and Canva Media was carried out through 10 stages, namely: needs identification, development, learner and context analysis, breakdown of competency objectives, instrument development, learning strategies, selection of teaching materials, formative evaluation, revision, and summative evaluation. (2) Students' responses to the early reading learning media using Canva were mostly positive. (3) Teachers' responses to the early reading learning product using the Steinberg method assisted by Canva were deemed appropriate and suitable for use in early reading instruction at elementary schools. This study concludes that the use of the Steinberg method-based early reading learning model using Canva as a medium has proven effective, is well-liked by students, and is deemed appropriate by teachers for implementation in elementary schools, allowing for further field trials.

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the representation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) content in Indonesian primary school IPAS textbooks through three main pillars: environmental, social, and economic. Using qualitative content analysis and NVIVO software, the findings reveal that ESD content is unevenly and inconsistently distributed across grade levels. Environmental themes lack continuity, social themes are more consistent, while economic aspects are shallow. These findings highlight the need for systematic and spiral integration of ESD into the curriculum to foster sustainable thinking in students.  Keyword: IPAS, Primary School, Education for sustaibility development   Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi konten Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (ESD) dalam buku teks IPAS SD berdasarkan tiga pilar utama: lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif dan perangkat lunak NVIVO, penelitian menemukan bahwa distribusi konten ESD belum merata dan tidak konsisten antar jenjang. Pilar lingkungan paling tidak stabil, sosial relatif lebih konsisten, sementara ekonomi cenderung dangkal. Abstract

Mathematics learning aims to develop students' abilities in solving problems. Mathematics learning is expected to provide students with experience, both in solving mathematical problems and everyday life problems. This article aims to reveal the power of lidimatics, an innovation in mathematics learning using sticks with a qualitative approach using literature studies and a neuroscience approach. By analyzing the results of previous research contained in the article search engine or Google Scholar. With linguistic media, students can easily understand the concept of multiplication through direct experience, reducing the need for memorization and increasing their understanding. As an effective alternative, the linguistic multiplication method illustrates that a creative approach can help students overcome mathematical difficulties better. Through a neuroscience approach in learning mathematics, it provides deep insight into the cognitive processes involved in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Rawa Danau Nature Reserve is a conservation area that protects various remaining flora and fauna on Java island, including birds. However, at present, Rawa Danau Nature Reserve 's existence is threatened due to changes in the structure and habitat function by the activities of the surrounding community. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solution in the form of efforts to preserve and preserve the diversity of species and their ecosystems. One form of this program is conservation education. Conservation education is a form of effort to protect biodiversity and natural resources by increasing knowledge, skills, participation, attitudes, and awareness of the importance of natural resources to sustain life. Information media is needed to facilitate the achievement of conservation education goals, one of which is the development of a birdwatching field guidebook. This study aimed to develop a birdwatching field guidebook as a medium for conservation education in the Rawa Danau Nature Reserve area The development method was used to create the field manual. The developed guidebook contains information on bird diversity, bird conservation, observation techniques, and bird observation locations, as well as bird identification sheets accompanied by bird distribution patterns in the form of descriptions and illustrative pictures or photographs of research results. The book was also developed to meet the principles of environmental education, namely to develop awareness, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and participation in protecting the environment.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the value of Islamic education and the value of character education of leaders through the traditional song Lir-ilir by Sunan Kalijaga. This study used descriptive qualitative methods and library research. Data was collected from language objects or primary sources using Lir-ilir songs studied. Researchers used documentation methods, namely seeking information about existing variables in words, sentences, and implicit or explicit messages from written and non-literary documents from various literary sources. Secondary data sources include books, scientific articles, magazines, and journals. The technique used in this study is semiotic analysis; the words of the Lir-ilir song are placed in a position as a sign system which the meaning needs to be analyzed. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the implied meaning of Lir-ilir song on Islamic educational values is as follows: shari'ah values, creed values, moral values to Allah SWT, moral values to others, moral values to the environment. 2) the implied meaning of Lir-ilir song on the value of character education of leaders are discipline values, religious values, creativity, environmental care, communication, responsibility, honesty, hard work, the spirit of control and support, and democracy.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengembangan modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunnakan yaitu  metode Reseasch and Development (RD) yang mengacu pada model 4D Thiagarahajan et al., (1974) yang sudah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini berupa produk modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains. Hasil validasi menunjukan bahwa modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method memiliki tingkat kevalidan pada kriteria baik dengan perolehan presentasi sebesar 84,8 terdapat beberapa catatan perbaikan untuk dapat menyempurnakan pengembangan modul praktikum yang sedang dikembangkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method unntuk meningkatakan keterampilan proses sains layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran praktikum pada mata kuliah biologi umum. Selain itu peningkatan hasil pre-test dan post-test keterampilan proses sains dalam implementasi modul praktkum ini diperoleh peningkatan.

Abstract

The erosion of regional languages is a problem that needs to be addressed by all groups, including families, educational institutions and the government. One of the ways the government has taken to overcome the erosion of the Cilegon Javanese language is by requiring the learning of Nalek (Cilegon Javanese) in elementary schools, but in fact the implementation of learning has not been optimal due to the lack of supporting media that can be used in Nalek learning. The aim of this research to develop the Wong Banten adventure comic media to increase literacy in Cilegon Javanese for class IV elementary schools in Cilegon. The research method used is the development research method with the ADDIE model which has five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate. The data collection techniques and methods used in this research were interviews and questionnaires, while the data analysis used used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this development research were that the feasibility score from material experts was 98.64% in the very good category, media experts were 85% in the good category, language experts were 94.28% in the very good category, and student questionnaire responses were 79%. with good category. Based on these results, the Wong Banten adventure comic media can be said to be suitable for use by students in class IV elementary school Nalek learning in Cilegon. It is hope that the result of development of the Wong Banten adventure comic media can be disseminated and used as a medium for learning Cilegon Javanese in Cilegon.

Abstract

This study describes character education in developing the affective domain for students, especially for junior high school students. Important character education is instilled in junior high school children who are intensively looking for identity, this character education is expected to form students who have morals and noble character in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. Teachers can develop subject matter through a local wisdom approach, which is owned by the area. One of the local wisdoms in Balaraja is the saga Nyimas Gamparan, which is packaged in an interesting picture story book. So the benefits of this study are; 1) Providing creative and innovative ideas for teachers in developing learning materials based on local wisdom through the saga of Nyimas Gamparan; 2) Motivating schools, teachers, parents, and the community to direct students who have positive attitudes towards the surrounding culture; and 3) motivate students in the formation of characters that will be useful in their lives.

Abstract

The low ability of conservation literacy is the main problem currently faced, one of which is caused by an inappropriate learning system. Therefore, contextualized teaching materials are needed to solve this problem. The purpose of this study is to describe whether or not there is an effect of using e-LKPD based on research results on the topic of biodiversity on students' conservation literacy skills, cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This study uses a type of quantitative research with the method used is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was taken using the slovin method. The data analysis technique used was T-test. In the research, the experimental class used e-LKPD and the control class used e-LKPD developed by the subject teacher. The results shown that:  (1) there is a significant effect on conservation literacy of cognitive indicators (Sig. 0.000), (2) there is a significant effect on conservation literacy of affective indicators (Sig. 0.000), (3) there is a significant effect on conservation literacy of psychomotor indicators (Sig. 0.000). The conclusion of the study is that there is an effect of e-LKPD based on research results on biodiversity on students' conservation literacy skills.

Abstract

E-LKPD merupakan salah satu sumber pembelajaran yang menarik, bermanfaat, dan mudah beradaptasi. E-LKPD yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa memahami sumber belajar elektronik. Di laptop, ponsel, dan perangkat seluler lainnya, konten ini tersedia untuk digunakan. Berdasararkan hasil penelitian ditemukan perasalahannya adalah bahan ajar yang dikembangakan disekolah belum berintegrasi dan materi belum memuat untuk meningkatakan kemampuan literasi konservasi. Selain itu, pengetahuan siswa terkait kawasan konservasi masih rendah yang membuat siswa kurang memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan, yang menjadi landasan pengembangan E-LKPD tema keanekaragaman hayati berdasarkan hasil riset. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai validitas E-LKPD tema keanekaragaman hayati dalam rangka meningkatkan literasi konservasi siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yang dipadukan dengan metode Research & Development. Hanya ada tiga tahap penerapan model 4-D ini: mendefinisikan, merancang, dan mengembangkan. Lembar penilaian validasi bahan ajar, ahli media, dan ahli materi pelajaran merupakan beberapa instrumen yang digunakan untuk menguji validitas. Analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dilakukan. Ahli media memperoleh skor 99,1% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”, bahan ajar memperoleh skor 87,8%, dan ahli materi memperoleh persentase 85,4% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas E-LKPD bertema “Keanekaragaman Hayati” didasarkan pada hasil penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi konservasi siswa kelas VII SMP.
