Abstract

Abstract: Educators Communication with Parents in Increasing the Activities and Learning Achievement of Students in Primary Schools. This research aims to describe the communication between educators and parents in increasing the activity and learning achievement of students. The research used is descriptive qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion (verification). The results showed that 1) communication between educators and parents through official meetings at school, home visits, periodic reports, attitudes of educators to parents and communication outside of school via cell phones, 2) barriers to communication between educators and parents, including busyness of parents, misunderstanding, slow response, difficult signal constraints, lack of focus, distance from home from school, embarrassment and reluctance, and lack of understanding of the content of the conversation, 3) efforts to overcome communication barriers with people parents by changing the schedule of attending school with a partner, home visits, delivering the results of meetings by telephone, and implementing effective communication, 4) there is an impact of communication between educators and parents on the activities and learning achievement of students.Keywords: communicator, educators, parentsDOI: 10.23960/jmmp .v8.i3.2020

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di SMP IT Al-Fityan School Medan. Dari hasil wawancara dengan guru seni budaya ditemukan bahwa para siswa belum pernah diajarkan menggambar bentuk buah-buahan secara langsung, belum pernah mendapatkan pengalaman belajar dari lingkungan mereka sendiri dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan masih kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dengan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menggambar buah-buahan siswa kelas VII-B SMP IT Al-Fityan School Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-B SMP IT Al-Fityan School Medan dengan jumlah 31 siswa. Setiap siklus terdiri dari Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan/Observasi, dan Refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Lembar Penilaian Siswa, Tes Unjuk Kerja, Wawancara, Catatan Lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil-hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah hasil belajar pada tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan, yaitu nilai rata-rata kelas Siklus I mencapai 73,18 dengan siswa yang tuntas belajar 14 siswa atau 45,16%. Siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 83,91, siswa yang mengalami tuntas belajar sebanyak 27 siswa atau 87,10%. Aspek ketepatan bentuk pada siklus I 18 siswa (58,07%) yang tuntas, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 27 siswa (87,09%) yang tuntas. Aspek gelap terang pada siklus I 12 siswa (38,70%) yang tuntas, pada silkus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 28 siswa (90,32%) yang tuntas. Aspek arsiran pada siklus I 12 siswa (38,70%) yang tuntas, pada silkus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 27 siswa (87,09%) yang tuntas.Aspek komposisi pada siklus I 20 siswa (64,52%) yang tuntas, pada silkus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 29 siswa (93,54%) yang tuntas.Aspek proporsi pada siklus I 19 siswa (61,30%) yang tuntas, pada silkus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 29 siswa (93,54%) yang tuntas. Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar, menggambar buah-buahan, metode demonstrasi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the factors influencing individual intentions to use mobile banking. The factors affecting individual intentions to use mobile banking in this research are perceived usefulness, perceived ease to use, anxiety, trust, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. This research is a development of previous research that uses a combination of TAM, SCT, and TPB models. Data collection method used is a survey method. The sample is accounting students of Brawijaya University Malang. The data are analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The result shows that anxiety and subjective  norm  affect  individual  intentions  to  use mobile  banking.  However,  the  construct  of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, and perceived behavioral control do not affect individual intentions to use mobile banking. The implications of this research are relevant for banking institutions to consider the factors which influence an individual intention to use mobile banking in the development of their information systems.Keywords:  Mobile  banking,  Perceived  Usefulness,  Perceived  Ease  of  Use,  Anxiety,  Trust, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control, TAM, SCT, and TPB.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student’s learning motivation on oxidation-reduction reaction material through flipped classroom learning model with cooperative learning. Cooperative learning which applied in this research is Number Head Together (NHT) type. The study was conducted in the 2nd term of academic year 2016/2017 at one of public senior high school in Jakarta. The research method which had been used is Classroom Action Research through four stages, planning, implementation, observation and reflection phase. This research was conducted in two cycles until all six indicators of student learning motivation are achieved. The indicators that used to determine student’s learning motivation include student’s interest in learning process, student’s attention in the learning process, the responses are shown to the stimulus given by the teacher, the spirit of the student’s to do the tasks, the responsibility at finished the work, happiness, and satisfaction of student’s in doing the task given by the teacher. The first cycle produces two indicators, student’s interest in the learning process and responsibility at finished the task. In the second cycle, all indicators have been reached. Along with the increase of student’s motivation, the average of student’s learning also increases. Flipped classroom learning with cooperative learning could make a positive impact for improvement of student learning motivation. Abstract

Banks are crucial institutions for economy. Healthy banks can stabilize the economy. Bank Indonesia sets standars for a healthy bank: Capital, Assets Quality, Management, Earnings, Liquidity, and Sensitivity to Risk (CAMELS). This research is an attempt to identifity the healthiness status and different influence of variables such as CAR, NPL,ROA,ROE BOPO, and LDR on stste-owned and private banks in the period of 2003 to 2012 using CAMELS. The sample consists of four state-owned banks, that is, BNI, BRI, Bank Mandiri and BTN and four private banks, that is, BCA, Bank CIMB Niaga, Bank Danamon, and Bank Internasional Indonesia. The secondary data of these banks cover the period of 2003-2012. To analyze these data and prove the hypothesis of this research, Mann-Whitney, and Kolmogorov-Semirnov teste are used by the help of SPSS. The research results show that there exist different financial indicators used the two different groups of the banks as shown by NPL. The two test result in Asymp Sig < 0.05 meaning that NPL distinguishes the two groups. Other variables such as NPL, ROA, ROE, BOPO, and LDR do not indicate significant difference. Abstract

The Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is a Government Agency Based on Presidential Regulation No. 46 of 2015 concerning the Ministry of Social Affairs, has the task of organizing affairs in the fields of social rehabilitation, social security, social empowerment, social protection, and handling of the poor. Media relations are conducted regularly but many news are not reported, such as news about the success of the Priority Program, namely Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and the Family Hope Program (PKH). The purpose of this study is to find out how the social ministry's media relations strategy is to increase publicity in the mass media. Media relations is part of external public relations that fosters and develops good relations with the mass media as a means of communication. Researchers use Frank Jefkins' theory of general principles to foster good media relations or media relations. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, data obtained through primary and secondary data collection. While the research subjects consisted of 1 key informant and 3 informants. Based on the results of research the Ministry of Social Affairs has applied the theory of Frank Jefkins the general principle of fostering good relations, but in the strategy carried out there are still many shortcomings and need to be improved again. From the 6 theoretical points according to Jefkins, by serving the media, by establishing a reputation for reliability, by supplying good copy, by providing cooperation in providing material, by providing verification facilities, by building personal relationships with the media, the Ministry of Social Affairs needs to strengthen media relations in section by providing verifivation facilities, and by building personal relationships with the media. So that the media can report information related to the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and the programs that it runs.

Abstract

The Special Effort Program to Increase Rice, Corn and Soybean Production (Upsus Pajale) is a program to increase food production in 2015 which was implemented in Indonesia, including in Cakranegara District, Mataram City. With the implementation of the program, the purpose of this research is to analyze the level of implementation, identify obstacles and supports of the Upsus Pajale program which concentrates on rice commodities in Cakranegara District, Mataram City. This study uses descriptive methods and data collection techniques with survey techniques. The sampling technique used in the sampling area was purposive sampling (deliberately) with the consideration that 2 sub-districts received the Upsus Pajale program. The technique of determining the number of respondents used proportional sampling so that 40 respondents were determined according to the number of sub-populations of farmer groups in 2 villages in Cakranegara District. The data analysis used is categorical and descriptive data analysis. The results showed that there were 3 main stages in the implementation of the Upsus Pajale program, namely the planning stage was achieved well (62.5%), the implementation stage (97.5%), and the evaluation stage was achieved less well (80%). The Upsus Pajale sub-program that was well implemented in Cakranegara sub-district included 100% Irrigation Network Development, Land Optimization (100%), and System of Rice Intensification (95.2%). Constraints faced during program implementation include natural and technical constraints. Supporters of the program are Agricultural Field Extension Officer, Babinsa, assistant students from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram, and activities from farmer groups.

Abstract

The organization is a place that can provide good leadership benefits related to a growth mindset and capability of communication or socialization. High socialization skills can be formed when someone joins the organization. This discussion focuses on the formation of perspectives or benefits obtained after joining an organization. This purpose is to inform that by following an organization, one can grow personal thinking to have leadership qualities and, with the existing experience, can hone ourselves. This discussion uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data on the problems discussed from sources from a literature review, explaining each study point discussed. The result of this discussion is that the organization can provide benefits that can foster a person's mindset to be better in shaping the spirit of leadership. Organizations can provide a different way of thinking, such as forming good relationships between individuals and groups and fostering a leadership spirit. This is in accordance with what was obtained during the process of organizing. During joining the organization, the benefits are obtained through the attitudes and traits that must be applied. This research found that organizational experiences is important to build a mindset, communication skill, and leadership capabilities that are beneficial for human social lives.

Abstract

In today's modern era, information technology has had a considerable influence in many ways, especially in the world of health. In this study, there were several problems related to labor management at the Tinggi Raja Health Center such as recording examinations related to childbirth examinations such as recording actions, blood pressure, fetal position, weight and size of the fetus as well as submitting a schedule then missing examination cards, examinations that were missing. irregular and this examination will of course take a lot of time, especially in finding patient data because all activities are still recorded in the ledger and will hinder the ongoing examination process, the results of the examination are only recorded with an examination card, information related to childbirth is still displayed on the walls of the health center. The purpose of this study is to build a labor management system using the scrum method. With this system, it can be used in patient data collection, and makes it easier for the public to carry out obstetrical examinations and so that puskesmas patients can predict childbirth so that it can make it easier for the community to submit a delivery schedule.
