Abstract

This article aims to explore innovations in elementary education curriculum development that can help students face global challenges. Using qualitative research methods with a case study approach, this research highlights several innovative models that have been implemented in various elementary schools in Indonesia. The results show that the integration of digital technology, project-based learning approaches, and personalized learning play a significant role in increasing engagement and learning effectiveness. This article also identifies key challenges in implementing these innovations and provides recommendations for overcoming existing barriers. Responsive and adaptive curriculum innovations are expected to prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in an ever-changing future.Keywords: Curriculum Innovation, Elementary Education, Global Challenges, Globalization, Case Studies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method Team Games Tournament(TGT) in developing social skills among kindergarten children through a literature review of national and international studies published within the last five years (2021–2025). The research employed a literature review approach by examining 25 relevant articles from reputable journals. The findings indicate that TGT consistently enhances various aspects of children’s social skills, including cooperation, communication, sharing, rule compliance, and prosocial behaviors. The structure of TGT—which integrates game-based activities, teamwork, and simple tournaments—provides meaningful social interaction experiences and increases children’s learning motivation. Moreover, the role of teachers as facilitators in managing group dynamics and instructional media becomes a key contributor to the successful implementation of TGT in early childhood education settings. Overall, this study confirms that TGT is an effective, enjoyable, and flexible approach for fostering social skill development in young children.

Abstract

This classroom action research investigated the effectiveness of a play-based talaqqi-repetition method in improving Juz 30 memorization among 13 kindergarten students at TK Islam Duta Ananda, Sleman. Using the Kemmis & McTaggart model across two cycles, the study addressed common problems in early childhood tahfidz education: monotonous instruction leading to boredom, poor retention, and low confidence. Results demonstrated substantial improvement, with average memorization scores rising from 2.38 (pre-cycle) to 4.12 (cycle 2), and classical mastery increasing from 15.38% to 92.31%. Both qualitative and quantitative data confirmed that integrating play-based strategies with traditional talaqqi-repetition methods significantly enhanced focus, motivation, retention, and emotional engagement in children aged 5-6 years, aligning with research showing multisensory approaches strengthen learning outcomes in early childhood education.

Abstract

A school can be said to be effective if there is good management of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the level of feasibility and availability of facilities and infrastructure at Candingasinan State Elementary School. This type of research is a survey with a descriptive analytical method. This research was conducted at Candingasinan State Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this study included in-depth interviews (teachers and school committee), questionnaires and documentation studies. The validity of the data collected in this study was triangulation of techniques (in-depth interviews and documentation) and sources (teachers and school committee). Data analysis techniques were collected interactively with the following stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of learning at Candingasinan State Elementary School in the use of facilities and infrastructure has been running quite well, although improvements are needed regarding facilities (student toilets and storage) and infrastructure (OHP, projectors, and whiteboards). This study is expected to provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities in improving the quality of learning facilities that support educational progress.

Abstract

Integritas halal tidak hanya bergantung pada kepatuhan prosedural di setiap tahapan proses, tetapi juga pada keterhubungan bukti yang dapat diverifikasi secara menyeluruh dan berkesinambungan dari hulu ke hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen dan telaah literatur terkini untuk menyintesis komponen kunci yang diperlukan agar status halal dapat diverifikasi secara end to end dalam sistem rantai pasok modern. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan inductive qualitative content analysis guna memetakan titik-titik kerentanan utama, meliputi pengadaan bahan baku, proses produksi khususnya pada aktivitas changeover dan pembersihan logistik dan penyimpanan termasuk cold chain, hingga tahapan ritel dan pengelolaan produk retur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa risiko terbesar dalam menjaga integritas halal bukan semata-mata disebabkan oleh ketidakpatuhan terhadap standar operasional, melainkan oleh terputusnya keterhubungan informasi dan bukti antar simpul proses. Kondisi ini berpotensi memperlambat penelusuran insiden, mendorong penerapan broad recall, serta meningkatkan pemborosan dan biaya operasional. Studi ini menghasilkan dua keluaran operasional utama, yaitu matriks bukti minimum yang wajib tertaut pada setiap lot atau batch produk, serta kerangka Halal Sustainability Digital Scorecard (HSDS) yang mengintegrasikan indikator kinerja, sumber bukti, dan digital enablers. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa event-based traceability yang interoperabel merupakan fondasi penting untuk mempercepat proses trace-back dan trace-forward serta meningkatkan presisi targeted recall. Selain itu, teknologi kecerdasan buatan berperan sebagai pendukung pengambilan keputusan melalui peningkatan kualitas data, deteksi anomali, dan percepatan triase tindakan korektif tanpa menggantikan fungsi audit halal.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran IPA hasil belajar menjadi indikator utama yang menunjukkan sejauh mana siswa mampu menguasai konsep-konsep ilmiah. Namun, hasil PISA dan pra-penelitian hasil belajar siswa Indonesia khususnya pada bidang sains masih tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Analisis hipotesis diukur menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari nilai pretest 38% kategori sangat rendah ke posttest 81% kategori tinggi, didukung hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai Sig. < 0,01 atau < 0,05 dan perhitungan nilai effect size juga menunjukkan 0,84 kategori besar. Selain itu, keterampilan sosial siswa meningkat (89%, sangat baik), pembelajaran terlaksana dengan sangat baik, dan respon siswa positif (81%, sangat baik). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terutama pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study investigates Nongnong Mbaham as a living oral tradition, examines its transformation within digital environments, and explores its potential as a contextual learning innovation in Papuan educational settings. Methodology: A qualitative digital ethnographic approach was employed, involving participant observation, in-depth interviews, performative analysis, and digital-trace analysis across offline and online cultural spaces. Main Findings: This study demonstrates that indigenous oral literature can function as a culturally grounded learning resource that supports identity formation, digital literacy, and contextual pedagogy. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research advances oral-literature studies by integrating digital ethnography with contextual learning innovation, moving beyond documentation toward a sustainable educational revitalization model.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Program within the Independent Curriculum at State Elementary School (SDN) 01 Tanjung Paku, SDN 06 Tanjung Paku, and SDN 10 Nan Balimo in Solok City, West Sumatra, during the 2023/2024 academic year. A mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative approach involved surveys using Likert-scale questionnaires and standardized tests to assess the understanding and application of Pancasila values among fifth-grade students before and after participating in the P5 Program. The qualitative approach included in-depth interviews with fifth-grade teachers to gather their perspectives on program implementation and classroom observations to examine its integration into daily teaching and learning activities. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' understanding and application of Pancasila values after participating in the P5 Program for one academic year. Quantitative data analysis indicated positive changes in students’ comprehension of Pancasila values. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis highlighted that while teachers faced challenges in implementing the program, they observed its positive impact on students’ creativity and independence. Therefore, it can be concluded that the P5 Program within the Independent Curriculum is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of Pancasila values and fostering their creativity and independence.Keywords: Pancasila, P5 program, student creativity, student independence.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di SDN 01 Tanjung Paku, SDN 06 Tanjung Paku, dan SDN 10 Nan Balimo, Kota Solok, Sumatera Barat pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah campuran (mixed-methods), menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif melibatkan survei menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan tes standar untuk mengukur pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila oleh siswa kelas V sebelum dan setelah mengikuti Program P5. Pendekatan kualitatif melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan guru kelas V untuk mendapatkan perspektif mereka tentang implementasi Program P5 dan observasi langsung di kelas untuk melihat bagaimana program ini diimplementasikan dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila oleh siswa kelas V setelah mengikuti Program P5 selama satu tahun akademik. Analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang positif dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila. Sementara itu, analisis kualitatif mengungkapkan bahwa guru mengalami tantangan dalam implementasi program, namun merasakan dampak positif terhadap kreativitas dan kemandirian siswa. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Program P5 dalam Kurikulum Merdeka efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila serta mendukung perkembangan kreativitas dan kemandirian siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: Pancasila,  program P5, kreativitas siswa, kemandirian siswa.

Abstract

This article evaluates the effect of Canva-based interactive learning media on the science learning achievement of fourth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Ngluwar Elementary School, Magelang. The problem is based on suboptimal student achievement due to a lack of media innovation in the classroom. Using a quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design, this study involved 56 respondents distributed into two classes. Data evaluation techniques were conducted through a series of statistical tests, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain and effect size calculations. Empirical findings demonstrated an advantage for the experimental class, with an average score of 82.50 compared to the control class, with a score of 67.86. A significance level of 0.000 supported the hypothesis. Although competency growth through N-Gain was moderate, the effect size of 1.192 indicated a high influence of this media. Overall, the use of Canva as an interactive media has proven effective in improving students’ academic achievement in science.

Abstract

This study aims at examining the effect of foreign interest on tax avoidance in Indonesia. Sample of the study consists of non-financial listed firm in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2019. There are 911 firm-year observation for the study. Independent variable of the study is foreign interest that consists of foreign ownership, foreign board of commissioner and foreign board of directors towards tax avoidance in Indonesia. Dependent variable is tax avoidance conducted by non-financial firms. The result of the study shows that that foreign ownership and foreign commissioners have a negative effect on tax avoidance. Therefore, the higher foreign ownership in the ownership structure provides negative impact on the tax avoidance. Foreign ownership push management to minimize tax avoidance. Further, foreign commissioner also negatively affects tax avoidance. Meanwhile, foreign directors have no effect on tax avoidance in Indonesia. It can be concluded that the foreign parties have significant effect on the tax avoidance, specifically foreign ownership and foreign commissioners. The higher the foreign share ownership and the number of foreign commissioners on the board of commissioners, the lower the tax avoidance practice in Indonesia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris tentang dampak keberadaan pihak asing terhadap penghindaran pajak di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan non-keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017 hingga 2019. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 911 perusahaan-tahun. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah keberadaan asing yang diwakili dengan kepemilikan saham asing, komisaris asing dan direktur asing di perusahaan tersebut, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah penghindaran pajak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemilikan saham asing dan komisaris asing berpengaruh negatif terhadap penghindaran pajak. Hal ini menunjukkan keberadaan pihak asing di jajaran pemegang saham memberikan tekanan kepada manajemen untuk mengurangi penghindaran pajak. Selanjutnya, komisaris yang merupakan warga negara asing juga memberikan dampak negatif terhadap penghindaran pajak. Direksi asing tidak memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap penghindaran pajak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keberadaan pihak asing, terutama kepemilikan saham dan proporsi di dewan komisaris, memberikan dampak negatif terhadap praktik penghindaran pajak.
