Abstract

Algebraic Thinking has become a research trend to be developed in secondary and elementary schools. Algebraic Thinking, according to Kieran (2004), includes generational ability, transformational ability, and global meta ability. Permendikbud No. 58 of 2014 indirectly states mathematics is being taught to hone the algebraic thinking ability. The SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) combines physical movement, five senses, intellectual activity. The purpose of this study was to analyze the classical mastery of algebraic thinking ability of VIIth grade students, one of junior high school in Ungaran in the SAVI learning model, to analyze the algebraic thinking ability of VIIth grade students in the SAVI learning model and PBL (Problem Based Learning), to describe the algebraic thinking ability of VIIth Grade students in the SAVI learning model. The results showed that (1) Algebraic thinking ability of VIIth Grade students in SAVI learning did not achieve classical mastery; (2) The algebraic thinking ability in SAVI learning was better than in PBL; (3) Algebraic thinking ability of VIIth in SAVI learning showed that generational ability reached 47.84%; transformational ability reached 51%, and global meta ability reached 33.8%.

Abstract

Fasilitas petunjuk arah menuju tempat-tempat wisata di Batang sangat minim, sehingga para wisatawan kesulitan mencari rute yang efisien menuju tempat-tempat wisata tersebut. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana menentukan rute terpendek tempat wisata di Batang menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra dan Floyd-Warshall. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan penyelesaian dari penerapan algoritma Dijkstra dan Floyd-Warshall dalam menentukan rute terpendek dari stasiun/terminal di Batang menuju ke tempat wisata di Batang. Langkah-langkah dari penelitian meliputi (1) membuat graf berbobot rute tempat wisata di Batang, (2) menemukan penyelesaian dari penerapan algoritma Dijkstra, (3) menemukan penyelesaian dari penerapan algoritma Floyd-Warshall, (4) menentukan rute terpendek yang direkomendasikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh 27 rute terpendek di mana 25 rute adalah sama dan terdapat 2 rute yang berbeda. Rute yang berbeda tersebut yaitu (1) rute terpendek dari Terminal Banyuputih ke Tubing Pandansari dan (2) rute terpendek dari Terminal Banyuputih ke Bandar Ecopark. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa algoritma Dijkstra lebih tepat untuk digunakan dalam menentukan rute terpendek tempat wisata di Batang.

Abstract

Kruskal algorithm and Sollin algorithm are algorithms on graph theory which can be used to find minimum spanning tree for weighted graph. The problem in this research is how the result of minimum water distribution of Tirta Aji Municipal Waterworks Wonosobo branch that in the form of minimum spanning tree using Kruskal algorithm and Sollin algorithm, and how to build an application to find minimum spanning tree from water pipes distribution of Tirta Aji Municipal Waterworks Wonosobo branch using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 from Kruskal algorithm and Sollin algorithm. Based on the obtained secondary data, it can be arranged a network. From this network it can be obtained the minimum spanning tree by using Kruskal algorithm and Sollin algorithm. Kruskal algorithm and Sollin algorithm were applied to build an application on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, then that application can be used to find the minimum spanning tree from the water pipes distribution. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the weight of minimum spanning tree using Kruskal algorithm, Sollin algorithm and this application is same, that is 36.715 m. It means, the water pipes distribution of Tirta Aji Municipal Waterworks Wonosobo branch can be thrifted up to 9.027 m from the total pipes length before, that is 45.742 m. Abstract

Travelling Salesman Probem (TSP) merupakan permasalahan yang banyak diaplikasikan pada berbagai persoalan dunia nyata dalam sehari-hari, misalnya masalah pendistribusian barang. Permasalahan pendistribusian barang merupakan faktor yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pendapatan suatu perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui rute pengiriman es pada PT. Es Malindo Boyolali, (2) untuk menyelesaikan masalah Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) dengan metode dua sisi optimal pada PT. Es Malindo Boyolali. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil data pengiriman es dari PT. Es Malindo Boyolali, selanjutnya data dimodelkan dalam bentuk graf Hamilton kemudian dilakukan pencarian jarak dengan menggunakan bantuan Google Maps. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode dua sisi optimal sehingga diperoleh rute terpendek. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kemungkinan (1) kemungkinan ada 117 rute pengiriman es PT. Es Malindo yang dapat ditempuh (2) rute terpendek pengiriman es yaitu PT. Es Malindo (Boyolali) – Rus (Kartasura) – Tri (Gumpang) – Jhon (Jongke) – Candra (Cemani) – Wuryanto (Singosaren) – Singgih (Sriwedari) – Nunung (Sriwedari) – Basuki (Mangkuyudan) – Batik (SMA Batik 2 Ska) – PT. Es Malindo (Boyolali) dengan panjang rute adalah 32,6 Km.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji sebuah permasalan optimasi untuk masalah pencarian rute. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan rute terbaik mobil pemadam kebakaran menuju daerah rawan kebakaran di kota Semarang menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra dan diaplikasikan kedalam bahasa pemrograman PHP. Berdasarkan data primer dan data sekunder berupa data pos pemadam kebakaran, daerah rawan kebakaran, dan peta jalan kota semarang dari Dinas Kebakaran dan Dinas Perhubungan kota Semarang dapat disusun gambar jaringan jalan dan membentuk sebuah graf. Selanjutnya dari gambar graf dapat diperoleh rute terbaik menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra. Terdapat 2 Parameter yaitu panjang jalan dan kepadatan jalan untuk menghasilkan bobot berupa tingkat kemacetan yang dihasilkan menggunakan logika fuzzy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan cara perhitungan manual maupun dengan program, diperoleh 7 rute terbaik untuk masing-masing pos pemadam kebakaran yang direkomendasikan, yang diperoleh dari parameter tingkat kemacetan jalan yang menggabungkan 2 parameter yaitu panjang jalan dan kepadatan jalan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Smart card-assisted Brain-Based Learning model against mathematical critical thinking skills, to analyze whether the smart card-assisted Brain-Based Learning model is more effective than the Treffinger model for mathematical critical thinking skills, and to describe students' mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of mathematical anxiety. This research applied quantitative method followed by a description. The population in this research were students of the seventh-grades on three of Junior High School in Ungaran in the academic year 2019/2020. This research applied the cluster random sampling technique as the technique for collecting the data. The subject of the research was selected from the experimental class. The researcher was used purposive sampling technique to select the subject of this research. The data was collected by using the test method, the questionnaire method, and the interview method. The quantitative data analysis used classical completeness test, mean difference test, and proportion difference test. The result of this study indicate that smart card-assisted Brain-Based Learning model is effective for mathematical critical thinking skills, but smart card-assisted Brain-Based Learning model is no more effective than Treffinger on mathematical critical thinking skills. In addition, the description of mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of mathematical anxiety is obtained that: (1) subjects with low mathematical anxiety are able to achieve the indicator (A) clarification well, indicator (B) assessments well, indicator (C) concludes well, and indicator (D) strategy well; (2) subjects with moderate mathematical anxiety are able to achieve indicator (A) well, indicator (B) well, indicator (C) quite well, and indicator (D) quite well; (3) subjects with high mathematical anxiety are able to achieve indicator (A) well, indicator (B) is quite good, indicator (D) is quite good.

Abstract

The concept understanding and self efficacy are needed in mathematics learning. One of the student’s skills in mathematics learning is the ability to think. The aims of this study is an analyzing the influence of concept understanding and self-efficacy on students' algebraic thinking abilitys and describe the algebraic thinking ability in the flipped classroom learning model based on concept understanding and self efficacy. This research is included in the mix-method research with sequential explanatory design. The results showed that (1) the average concept understanding and algebraic thinking ability of students who were given the flipped classroom learning model achieved learning completeness; (2) the average concept understanding and algebraic thinking ability of students who were given the flipped classroom learning model were better than those given the direct instruction learning model; (3) there is an influence between concept understanding and self-efficacy on students' algebraic thinking ability both simultaneously and partially; (4) i) students who have high concept understanding and high self efficacy tend to have high algebraic thinking ability; ii) students who have high concept understanding and moderate self efficacy than moderate concept understanding and moderate and low self efficacy tend to have moderate algebraic thinking ability; and iii) students who have low concept understanding and self efficacy tend to have low algebraic thinking ability.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) bagaimana pembentukan jaringan matriks, (2) karakteristik apa saja yang dimiliki jaringan matriks. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peluang mikrostatik pada saat transisi gen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji permasalahan penentuan harga jual sepeda motor bekas menggunakan logika fuzzy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode yang lebih akurat diantara metode fuzzy Tsukamoto dan fuzzy Sugeno dalam penentuan harga jual sepeda motor bekas dilihat dari nilai akurasi MAPE terkecil. Metode pada penelitian ini menerapkan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara di showroom Mulyo Motor untuk pengumpulan data. Bedasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode fuzzy Tsukamoto dan fuzzy Sugeno diperoleh nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebagai ukuran akurasi untuk metode Tsukamoto sebesar 8,8% dan metode Sugeno sebesar 3,2%. Dari hal tersebut kedua metode memiliki hasil peramalan yang sangat bagus karena memiliki nilai MAPE kurang dari 10%. Dapat dilihat bahwa nilai MAPE metode Sugeno kurang dari metode Tsukamoto sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode fuzzy Sugeno lebih akurat dibandingkan metode fuzzy Tsukamoto untuk menentukan harga jual sepeda motor bekas di showroom Mulyo Motor.

Abstract

Thisstudy was based on the results of learning innovation research conducted in Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Semarang State University. The expected goal is to develop or acquire a learning model mathematics course on ICT-based Operations Research. This study was done in order to utilize computer technology (laptop) that was shared by almost all students of the Department of Mathematics in order to reduce the difficulty of students to perform calculations that are many and complex.Research was conducted at the Laboratory of MathematicsUnneswhich also becomes the avenue of this subject. Implementation of learning by using the PBL approach (projectbased learning) based on ICT. The processed data was taken from the field (a real problem) which was further discussed and discussed in groups by utilizing the theory of operations research and facilities laptop and software that support it. The result of the discussion was presented in front of the class andeach step that has been done until the students reached their conclusion and interpretation. The results of the study concluded that (1) the form of the program to resolve the research operations problem was computer assisted program, and (2) the learning outcomes of operations research with project-based learning approach.
