Abstract

In the era of rapidly developing information and communication technology, social interactions have shifted significantly to digital platforms. While this progress brings many benefits, such as ease of communication and access to information, information technology can also have significant negative impacts, one of which is the emergence of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is behavior intended to humiliate, intimidate, injure, or cause harm to a vulnerable party using information technology communication tools. In other countries, there are many cases of cyberbullying that end in more serious incidents such as suicide. This paper uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. This approach was chosen to in-depth explore various literature and previous research related to the topic of bullying among the community, especially teenagers in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that the negative impact of information technology on cyberbullying cases has occurred at a fairly large rate (28%), but the impact is not very serious. From the answers given, it can be concluded that many people do not understand cyberbullying and its potential impacts. This study also explores the roles, responsibilities, and actions of teenagers, parents, schools, and law enforcement.

Abstract

The proliferation of computer networks has significantly impacted various aspects of social life. This study aims to identify and analyze the social changes resulting from the integration of computer networks into everyday life. Using a mixed-method research design, data were collected through a survey involving 300 respondents and in-depth interviews with 40 informants. The results indicate that computer networks increase the frequency of communication with family and friends (78%), facilitate access to information and education (70%), and enable more flexible work and education patterns, with 60% of respondents working from home and 50% participating in online learning. Furthermore, computer networks also increase economic opportunities such as online jobs and e-commerce businesses (68%). However, the study also reveals a digital divide, particularly in rural areas (40%), indicating the need for further efforts to ensure the equitable distribution of the benefits of technology. This study provides in-depth insights into the impact of computer networks on social transformation and can be used as a reference for policymakers, educators, and information technology professionals in developing effective strategies to leverage this technology for social and economic progress.

Abstract

The development of computer technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of people's lives, including social behavior. Computers integrated with the internet network not only function as data processing tools but also as the main medium for communication, social interaction, and the formation of new social relations. This study aims to analyze the influence of the development of computer technology on people's social behavior through a literature study approach. The research method used is a literature review of relevant scientific articles, which discuss the relationship between the use of computer technology and changes in social behavior. The results of the study indicate that the development of computer technology has positive impacts, such as ease of access to information, expansion of social networks, and increased digital literacy in society. However, negative impacts were also found, including reduced intensity of face-to-face social interactions, the emergence of digital dependency, and changes in social values ​​and communication norms in society. These changes indicate that computer technology plays a significant role in influencing the social dynamics of modern society. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize computer technology wisely so that the resulting social benefits can be optimized without ignoring the social and cultural values ​​that apply in community life.

Abstract

TIX ID is an online cinema ticket purchasing application that plays on a smartphone platform. Where users can buy cinema tickets anywhere and anytime without having to wait in line. The concept of purchasing cinema tickets is integrated with a third party, namely DANA as a digital money concept that is integrated with several large applications such as Tokopedia and Shopee. This study aims to Conduct text preprocessing (NLP) on TIX ID application user review data so that the data is ready to be used in the sentiment analysis process, Extract text features using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method to represent reviews in numeric form, Apply the Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms in classifying user review sentiments into positive and negative categories, Evaluate the performance of the Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics, Provides an overview of user sentiment towards the TIX ID application as a consideration for developers in improving the quality and service of the application.
