Abstract

Local cultural diversity must be preserved and developed from generation to generation while maintaining the values contained therein. Media inheriting local cultural diversity can be done through education. Education in local content is intended so that students have solid insight into their environment and attitudes and behaviors that are willing to preserve and develop natural resources, social quality, and culture that support national and local development. The purpose of this study was to examine the preservation of local cultural values in Wonogiri Regency as an effort to build the character of the homeland. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. The ethnographic model used is descriptive ethnography because it describes local cultural values in Wonogiri Regency. The place of research was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Wonogiri Regency. Data were collected from interviews, documentation, and observations. The results of the study show that the introduction of local culture in elementary schools can be done by introducing dance, types of musical instruments, folk songs, and regional languages, and integrating local products that must be guarded and preserved. Preservation of local cultural values is an effort made by schools as educational institutions to make the values of art, language, and folk songs as the basis for efforts to form the characteristics of love for the homeland. The challenges in the process of preserving local culture are the influence of globalization and the local government's lack of understanding of local culture in Wonogiri Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the feasibility of an academic supervision model based on information and communication technology. Feasibility consists of three aspects: validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research was developed by the R&D method, which was modified into five steps, namely the define stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The field test design is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results show that technology-based, informatics, and communication academic supervision modules with Microsoft Teams are appropriate to be applied in the implementation of technology-based academic supervision, informatics, and communication. The results obtained show that the developed model is valid, practical, and effective in increasing progress in the process of academic supervision based on technology, informatics, and communication. With this model of maximum teacher assessment, all are assessed. The assessment of academic supervision went smoothly; 126 teachers could be assessed all and more optimally. Researchers recommend that school principals implement this supervision model using Microsoft Teams. Further research is needed using different applications using models that have been developed in academic supervision assessments.

Abstract

Riset berikut bertujuan ialah agar mampu mendeskripsikan strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah dan dampak strategi pada mutu sekolah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis studi lapangan (field study) dengan menggunakan sudut pandang kualitatif, model deskriptif menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi serta studi dokumentasi. Riset berikut memilki sumber data yakni kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, bidang kurikulum serta bidang sarana prasarana. Hasil riset berikut yakni strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah dengan menggunakan strategi hirarkis, transformasional dan fasilitatif oleh Zacher, Hannes, and Emily Johnson. Berdasarkan hasil riset yang sudah dilaksanakan yaitu memperlihatkan jika strategi yang di jalankan kepala sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta dan SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Solo yaitu strategi transformasional dan fasilitatif. Dalam strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah mliputi pengembangan kurikulum, guru, kesiswaan, sarana dan prasarana. Strategi yang dirumuskan oleh kepala sekolah terlaksana dengan efektif dan efisien serta sangat berpengaruh untuk peningkatan mutu sekolah. Strategi yang dibuat telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan sekolah. Dampak strategi pada mutu sekolah terlihat dari prestasi baik dalam bidang akademik atau non-akademik. Hal-hal yang dijadikan keberhasilan sekolah telah dikembangkan dan diberdayakan dengan baik oleh kepala sekolah

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses memfasilitasi pembelajaran, atau perolehan pengetahuan, keterampilan, nilai, moral, kepercayaan, dan kebiasaan. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI, Nadiem Makarim menerbitkan Surat Edaran Nomor 1 Tahun 2020 tentang Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dalam penetapan kelulusan Siswa. Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar adalah kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang beragam. Pembelajaran akan lebih maksimal agar peserta didik memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendalami konsep dan memperkuat kompetensinya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong yang terletak di Kecamatan Gemolong Kabupaten Sragen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada saat Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) II selama satu bulan dua minggu. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti juga memperkuat penelitian dengan mencari data dari sumber lain. Peran guru dalam Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong selain mengajar guru mampu berkarya di platform merdeka belajar. Siswa juga diberi kebebasan untuk mengakses materi pada sumber-sumber lain. Siswa mampu berinovasi dan mengembangkan apa yang dimilikinya. Hambatan-hambatan yang dirasakan oleh guru pada saat Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong yaitu 1) Guru masih mengandalkan buku paket maupun yang lainnya, tidak mencoba mencari dari sumber lain 2) kurangnya literasi dan minimnya referensi 3) Sulitnya akses digital atau internet 4) Kompetensi guru yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Aim of study is to examine and describe 1) the effectiveness of lesson study as a model of Muhammadiyah Elementary School teacher training to improve the quality of learning 2) validation of lesson study as a model of Muhammadiyah elementary school teacher training to improve the quality of learning. This research used an approach of descriptive-qualitative phenomenology and the research design used the modified class action-based lesson study. The subject of study included the Primary School teachers Muhammadiyah of Kartasura, and the informants were the teachers, headmasters, supervisor. The data gathering employed questionnaires, interview, and observation The data analysis used the first order understanding and second order understanding with an interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. The conclusion of this research is, 1) The effectiveness of lesson study as a model of coaching Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers to improve its the quality of learning through K3S (Principal Working Group), while its implementation through KKG (Teacher Working Group) activities. 2) validation lesson study as a model of teacher development to improve its quality of learning through validation on a limited scale programmed by the KKG (Teacher Working Group) at the cluster level in each school, and carried out evaluation, and validation of this lesson study to create active, innovative, creative and fun learning.

Abstract

Numeracy is a strong foundation for attitude and action during the Covid-19 period. The cultivation of numeracy literacy at SD Muhammadiyah PK Boyolali has not met expectations. There are three objectives of this activity. 1) Teachers master the strategy of cultivating numeracy literacy. 2) The teachers apply the strategy of cultivating numeracy literacy well, students are happy and accustomed to learning numeracy literacy. 3) There is an increase in students' numeracy literacy skills. The activity was carried out at SD PK Boyolali and Banyudono Boyolali, January-June 2021. Participants were 25 teachers and 114 students. The implementation method goes through three stages, namely workshops, implementation assistance and assessment. Results of the activity: 1) The teachers mastered the strategy of cultivating numeracy literacy well, shown in the learning tools. 2) The teachers apply the strategy of cultivating numeracy literacy by a) getting used to various strategies for various questions, b) giving enough time to try questions, c) inviting them to solve problems in other ways, d) inviting them to look at other possibilities, e) when facing difficult problems not avoided but using time to repeat and work on more questions, and f) flexibility in problem solving. The students are happy and accustomed to learning numeracy literacy by, a) practicing consistently, disciplined and continuously, b) studying mathematics material outside the school curriculum, c) avoiding looking at answers before trying to work on questions, d) practicing writing down answers systematically, and e) try to solve the problem in another way. 3) There is an increase in students' numeracy literacy skills, both in personal, socio-cultural, and scientific contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the curriculum-based social science teacher training model with a lesson study approach at SMK Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo. The approach used is qualitative phenomenology which is engaged in micro studies. The design used is based on class action modification. The place of research is at SMK Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo. The subjects were social science teachers, while the informants were teachers, principals, and supervisors. Collecting data using document, observation, and interview methods. The data analysis uses the theory of first order understanding and second order understanding. Conclusions: 1) The curriculum-based social science teacher training model with a lesson study approach at SMK Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo uses lesson study modification, this model can increase the professionalism of social science teachers with a scientific cooperative learning approach using a problem-based learning strategy as indicated by the pretest score > 65 = 50 % and posttest score > 75 = 100 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru dalam memaksimalkan semangat belajar peserta didik pada implementasi program Kurikulum Merdeka di SMK Negeri 1 Boyolali. Kurikulum Merdeka adalah inisiatif pendidikan yang memberikan kebebasan kepada peserta didik untuk memilih mata pelajaran dan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka. Namun, untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, peran guru menjadi krusial dalam menginspirasi dan memotivasi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen terkait implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam memaksimalkan semangat belajar peserta didik meliputi beberapa aspek. Pertama, guru memiliki peran penting sebagai fasilitator yang membantu peserta didik dalam mengeksplorasi minat dan bakat mereka. Kedua, guru berperan sebagai motivator yang menginspirasi dan mendorong semangat belajar peserta didik. Ketiga, guru juga memiliki peran sebagai pembimbing yang memberikan dukungan dan pengarahan kepada peserta didik. Dalam kesimpulannya, peran guru sangat penting dalam memaksimalkan semangat belajar peserta didik pada implementasi program Kurikulum Merdeka. Guru sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan pembimbing memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menginspirasi, memotivasi, dan memberikan dukungan kepada peserta didik sehingga mereka dapat mencapai potensi belajar maksimal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The role of religion in individual life functions as a value system that contains certain norms. For Muslims, the religious education that is mandatory for them to follow is Islamic religious education. As for realizing this universal view, this study aims to explain the process of implementing Classroom Management in Improving the Effectiveness of Learning Religious Education Islam at the Tiwikrama Computer Vocational School, Mamuju Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research. Based on the results of this study, it shows that: The planning and organization carried out by the teacher in improving the learning quality of Islamic Religious Education subjects at Tiwikrama Computer Vocational School, Mamuju Regency can be seen from the lesson plan made by the teacher where the teacher makes Indicators of learning achievement, learning objectives, learning methods, learning media, learning resources and assessment. Class management carried out by the teacher in improving the quality of learning for the Islamic Religious Education subject at Tiwikrama Computer Vocational School, Mamuju Regency by always paying attention to the elements of effectiveness in learning, which includes: Learning Materials, Learning Atmosphere, Media and Learning Resources, Besides understanding the elements in the effectiveness of the learning, the teacher must also know what steps should be taken by the teacher in learning, so that it can run effectively as expected. Class evaluation or learning evaluation is carried out by teachers in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at the Tiwikrama Computer Vocational School, Mamuju Regency where learning evaluation activities are carried out through several stages of activity, including: planning, implementation, monitoring, data processing and use of evaluation results.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the effect of democratic leadership on the quality of processing higher education institutions (PT) on PGRI-based in East Java. This study employed a correlational quantitative research approach. The population of this study included all leaders of Private Higher Education (PTS) in the LLDIKTI VII East Java area, with a total of 60 samples chosen at random. With a 95 percent confidence level, the maximum error rate considered in this study was 5%. Based on the SPSS 26 test results, it was known that the instrument of democratic leadership style (X) and improving the quality of PT management (Y) was declared 'valid' with a calculated r value (X) of 0.758 and (Y) of 0.798 (with a r table value of 0.308). Cronbach Alpha values of 0.811 (X) and 0.856 (Y) indicated high reliability. The results of hypothesis testing (I) obtained the regression equation, namely Y = -2.765 + 0.225X, and the results of hypothesis testing (2) obtained t arithmetic (1.341) > t table (1.256) and a significance value of 0.02 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, which means that the democratic leadership style variable has a significant influence (there is still a low category influence relationship) on the quality of management of PGRI-based universities in East Java.
