Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Incoterm and relational resources on the competitive advantage of Indonesian Freight forwarders. The measurement methodology uses structural equation model (SEM) analysis with SmartPLS software to analyze the impact of Incoterms and relational resources on competitive advantage. Through social media, online questionnaires were sent to gather research data. The Likert scale of 5 was used to create the questionnaire. Companies that provide freight forwarding services were the respondents in this study, chosen by simple random sampling. Online questionnaires were distributed to 75 companies to answer questions submitted. The data analysis step is validity tests, reliability tests, significance tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the data processing results, it is found that Incoterm and relational resources positively affect competitive advantages. The novelty of this study is a model of the relationship between the effect of Incoterm and relational resources on the competitive advantage of freight forwarding companies. The research's theoretical implication is that Freight forwarder companies' management should select appropriate incoterms and implement relational resource policies to encourage increased competitive advantage. One of the limitations of this study is that the sample size used is only a small number of companies engaged in international Freight Forwarder services, only 75 companies.

Abstract

The measurement of E-Government user satisfaction at local governments in Indonesia still needs to be improved to achieve the high accountability demanded by the central government. Based on the theory of behavior, six factors influence the satisfaction of local government E-Government users, namely knowledge of ease of use, trust, function and form interaction, reliability, content and display of information, and support. This study examines the influence of these six factors on the E-Government Quality of local governments in the province of West Java. Respondents in this study were the head of the West Java regional government agency. This study uses PLS-SEM and succeeds in proving that there is a positive and significant effect of ease of use, trust, function and form interaction, reliability, content and display of information, and support for local government E-Government user satisfaction. These findings provide practical contributions as a guide for local governments to improve E-Government Quality. Future research needs to expand the scope of the observation area, incorporate subjective and objective scales of user satisfaction variables, and develop other variables based on other theories such as contingency theory, agency theory, and dynamic capabilities theory.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of organizational culture, university-industry collaboration strategies, and government funding on innovation programs in Indonesian public universities. The research objectives were to identify the key factors that influence innovation outcomes and explore the moderating role of government funding. A quantitative research approach was adopted focusing on 73 public universities in Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to senior administrators and faculty members involved in innovation programs and university-industry collaborations. The key variables measured included organizational culture, university-industry collaboration strategies, innovation programs, and government funding, using a 7-point Likert scale. A multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesized relationships and interaction effects. The findings reveal that organizational culture and university-industry collaboration strategies significantly enhance innovation programs, with government funding amplifying these effects. A larger university size was found to negatively impact innovation outcomes, while overall funding levels had a positive but smaller effect than other variables. The results highlight the importance of fostering supportive organizational cultures, developing robust collaboration strategies, and securing adequate government funding to drive innovation in academic institutions. Future research should explore the additional factors that influence innovation outcomes in various contexts. Recommendations include strengthening university-industry partnerships and advocating for sustained government support to enhance the innovation capacity of universities.

Abstract

Expanding access to the poor is a fundamental issue for Microfinance Institutions, although increasing the availability of credit is often viewed as a crucial element for achieving poverty reduction. Consequently, more trust has been reposed in the potentially game-changing effect of universal digital financial inclusion. However, there is little evidence linking digital financial inclusion to an individual's chance of poverty. The research assesses the influence of digital financial services on rural farmers' susceptibility to poverty in Ghana by employing data from 1050 rural farm households surveyed in selected communities in the Bono, Bono East and Bono Ahafo, Eastern and Ashanti Regions of Ghana. The Asset-Based Vulnerability model was used to measure the likelihood of future vulnerability to poverty of rural farmers. We found that farmers who make use of digital financial services are less vulnerable to risk. In addition, we demonstrate that the majority of these gains result from farmers' improved risk management abilities. Financial exclusion is a big issue in several developing countries, and Ghana's experience may be used to alleviate this problem.
