Abstract

Anemia among adolescent girls is a critical health issue that requires serious attention, as it can trigger a chain of nutritional problems in future generations. Providing iron supplementation tablets to adolescent girls is expected to reduce the incidence of anemia in this population group. This study aimed to assess the knowledge level of adolescent girls before and after receiving nutrition education on the importance of iron supplementation. A quasi-experimental study design was used, specifically a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Participants' knowledge was initially pre-tested using a validated questionnaire adapted from previous studies. The questionnaire had been reviewed and validated by experts in the field of nutrition education to ensure its reliability in measuring knowledge about iron supplementation. Nutrition education was delivered through interpersonal communication for approximately 40–50 minutes. Following the intervention, participants' knowledge was reassessed through a post-test. The study sample consisted of 13 adolescent girls enrolled at Muhammadiyah Junior High School, Maros Regency. Data was collected through interviews, and knowledge assessment was performed using the same validated questionnaire. The results showed a p-value of 0.003 (<0.05), indicating a statistically significant improvement in the knowledge of adolescent girls after receiving the nutrition education intervention. The interpersonal communication approach likely contributed to this improvement by enabling active interaction, immediate feedback, and better engagement with the participants, all of which are essential factors in enhancing information retention.

Abstract

Direct regional head elections (pilkada) are a manifestation of the people's sovereignty to choose a leader who will form a government. The momentum of the regional elections will determine how a region will develop in the next five years. A campaign is a series of efforts made by a candidate pair to promote or fight for a particular goal to the public. Political communication is a symptom of making political interests channeled through appropriate and effective media. Through this media, political messages from candidates become one of the goals for building a political image, which is related to the formation of public opinion. Political communication actors play a role in the process of delivering and receiving political messages. Meanwhile, political messages have relevance to public resources. The SUKSES Media Center was initially to carry out personal branding for candidates. Its applies a communication planning approach by managing and disseminating political messages with the aim of a positive candidate image, namely: 1) setting goals; 2) developing various premises; 3) choosing a direction of action; 4) formulating various activities needed to translate plans into action; and 5) re-planning to correct (evaluate).

Abstract

Multivariable nonlinear equation systems are commonly found in various disciplines such as engineering, physics, economics, and artificial intelligence. Analytical solutions are often difficult to obtain, necessitating the use of numerical approaches. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of the Levenberg-Marquardt and Trust-Region methods in solving multivariable nonlinear equation systems. Computational simulations were performed using MATLAB software with an error tolerance of 0.001 and a maximum iteration limit of 100. The test system involved a combination of trigonometric, exponential, and polynomial functions to ensure computational complexity. The study's results show that both methods are capable of achieving solutions with high accuracy. The Levenberg-Marquardt method demonstrated higher efficiency, achieving convergence in only 2 iterations with a final error of 1.866 10. In contrast, the Trust-Region method required 27 iterations but yielded a smaller error of 4.768 10. Three-dimensional visualization revealed that the solution was obtained from the intersection point of the three function surfaces. These findings confirm that the selection of numerical methods should consider the priority between iteration efficiency and solution accuracy. The contribution of this research lies in presenting a comparison of the performance of two popular algorithms with controlled simulation parameters, which can serve as a basis for the development of numerical methods in larger dimensional systems

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine whether the book al-jāmi study method was successful in facilitating students' mastery of the Arabic language learning material, especially material about fi’il. The present study incorporated field research employing qualitative descriptive analysis. The research utilized a variety of data sources including scholarly literature, interview papers, questionnaires, observations, tests, and other supplementary data sources using a phenomenological approach. The findings of this study revealed a limited degree of proficiency among students in regards to the fi’il or verb form, as assessed through the examination of the al-jāmi textbook. Based on the examination outcomes of a sample including 30 pupils, the scores achieved were distributed as follows: 6.7% in the high category, 26.7% in the medium category, 30% in the low category, and 36.7% in the very low category. Based on the given percentage, one might infer that the kids' proficiency in fi’il falls below the established standard or is notably deficient. This phenomenon can be attributed to a variety of factors. Firstly, the absence of any form of evaluation following the study led to decreased motivation among students. Additionally, insufficient emphasis was placed on the importance of recording the material presented, further contributing to the issue. Secondly, the timing of the study sessions was deemed inappropriate, potentially impacting students' ability to absorb and retain information. Based on the findings of this study, it is imperative for the educational institution to assess the program.
