Abstract

Different growing environments will have different effects on plant growth and development. The phenology of a line or variety needs to be precisely understood so that crop production management can be carried out appropriately. This study aims to evaluate the phenology of lines resulting from crossbreeding of local swamp rice from Bengkulu. The study was conducted from February 2023 to September 2023 in shallow swamp land, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. Using a Randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replications to place the lines UBPR-2, UBPR-3, UBPR-4, UBPR-6, UBPR-8, UBPR-9, UBPR-10 and UBPR-11. The results showed that the eight swamp rice lines evaluated had diverse phenologies. Critical stages such as tillering were grouped into 5 clusters, flowering into 6 clusters, and harvesting into 6 clusters. UBPR-2, UBPR-9, and UBPR-11 produced comparable grain weights per hill, despite varying harvest stages.

Abstract

Studi getaran pada suatu mesin berputar merupakan kegiatan pemeliharaan prediktif, Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui getaran pada suatu mesin yang disebabkan oleh kasus Mechanical Looseness dengan mengkondisikan 1 baut kendur di posisi bearing 3 sebesar maksimum 1mm. Pengukuran getaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat Vibration Analyzer yang dapat membaca nilai RMS (Root Means Square) velocity serta menampilkan spektrum FFT suatu getaran pada posisi vertikal dan horizontal pada bagian motor dan rumah bearing. Pengujian pertama nilai velocity dan frekuensi yang dihasilkan pada kondisi normal pada kecepatan putaran 500 rpm menghasilkan nilai velocity tertinggi 2,17 mm/s dengan frekuensi 8,06 Hz pada arahi 3V. Kecepatan putaran 1000 rpm menghasilkan nilai velocity 1,52 mm/s dengan frekuensi 16,90 Hz pada arah 3V serta kecepatan putar 1500 rpm menghasilkan nilai velocity tertinggi yaitu 1,17 mm/s dengan frekuensi 24,60 Hz pada arah 3V. Studi sesuai dengan kondisi pola mechanical looseness ½X rendah 1X tinggi 2X sedang 3X rendah.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to identify barriers in Arabic language learning at MI Muhammadiyah Tambaksari, Blora and to propose practical solutions to improve learning effectiveness in a rural madrasah context. Theoretical framework: The study is grounded in SDG 4 (Quality Education) within the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising inclusive, equitable, and sustainable primary education as an analytical lens. Literature review: Previous studies report challenges in Arabic learning related to media, motivation, methods, and teacher competence, but rarely connect these issues to sustainability and global education frameworks. Methods: This research uses a qualitative descriptive case study approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis, and analysed using descriptive qualitative techniques. Results: The findings reveal several key barriers to Arabic language learning at MI Muhammadiyah Tambaksari Blora, including limited learning media, low student motivation, insufficient lesson hours, mismatched teacher educational backgrounds, and the lack of a supportive Arabic language environment. These factors are interrelated and collectively reduce the effectiveness of Arabic language instruction, particularly in developing balanced language skills. Implications: The study recommends SDGs-oriented strategies such as interactive media development, varied teaching methods, teacher competency improvement, time optimisation, and supportive language environments to enhance learning quality. Novelty: This study is novel in applying SDG 4 to link local Arabic learning problems with sustainable and inclusive education, offering a context-sensitive model for rural Islamic primary schools.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the development of education systems in various civilizations from a historical perspective, focusing on how education developed and was influenced by social, cultural, political, and economic conditions in each period so that policy makers and society in general can design a better future for education. This research uses the historical method with a focus on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting historical sources relevant to the development of education systems in various civilizations. Researchers will explore archives, manuscripts, documents and other historical evidence to trace how education systems developed in the context of a particular time and place. The results show that although there are variations in educational approaches between civilizations, there are similarities in the role of education as a tool to maintain and expand power, as well as to adapt to social and technological change. The education system also reflects the social hierarchy that existed at the time, where access to education was often limited to certain elites or classes. It is hoped that this research will bring an understanding of the history of education essential for developing a more inclusive and adaptive education system in the present, taking into account the historical legacies that shape current educational patterns.

Abstract

TThe Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by Group 3 ITB Ahmad Dahlan in Waru Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency, West Java aims to address several issues faced by the local community. The main issues identified include the lack of public knowledge regarding digital branding for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the unavailability of clear directional signs towards village facilities, and the low awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness. To achieve these objectives, this program was designed with several intervention methods. The results of this KKN activity show an increase in community understanding of digital branding, the creation of creativity in arts, as well as the installation of 9 sign systems that were successfully carried out in Waru Village. This activity not only provides direct benefits to the community but also offers valuable experience for students in applying the knowledge they have learned in college. It is hoped that this initiative can continue and create a lasting positive impact for the community of Waru Village

Abstract

This qualitative case study explores the identity adaptation and psychological impacts on children performing in Wayang Bocah within a modern school ecosystem. Integrating Social Identity Theory and Social Construction Theory, this study examines children's dynamics across two contradictory domains: traditional art studios and public schools. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis involving child actors, parents, and teachers. The results reveal a phenomenon of "identity compartmentalization," where children develop dual adaptation strategies to secure peer acceptance without losing their cultural ties. The clash of values between tradition and modernity does not trigger an identity crisis, but rather fosters high role flexibility and social resilience in children. This interdisciplinary study contributes significantly to developmental psychology and cultural sociology in understanding how contemporary children navigate traditional spaces in the digital era.

Abstract

The Jaro Rojab ritual is one of the traditions still preserved by the people of Cikakak. This ritual is not only a religious and customary activity held every 27th of Rajab, but it also carries various lexical and cultural meanings that reflect the identity, social, religious, and cultural values of the Cikakak community. This study aims to explore, understand, and describe the lexical and cultural meanings found in the Jaro Rojab ritual. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a semantic approach. The research subjects consisted of two informants the key figure and a traditional leader of Cikakak village who were selected using purposive sampling. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using content analysis according to Moleong. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and methodological triangulation.  The results of the study identified 22 lexical items related to the Jaro Rojab Ritual. These consisted of 7 lexical items regarding the ritual procession, 2 regarding the names of the venues where the ritual is held, 5 regarding ritual terms, 4 regarding ube rampe, 3 regarding ritual performers, and 1 regarding a figure within the ritual. From these lexical items, 22 lexical meanings and 21 cultural meanings were identified. Thus, the Jaro Rojab ritual not only serves as a tradition passed down from generation to generation but also acts as a medium for transmitting cultural values through language. A semantic analysis of the terms and utterances used in the ritual can serve as one effort to document and preserve the cultural knowledge of the Cikakak community amid the changing times.

Abstract

Suhu adalah sesuatu yang menunjukkan derajat suatu benda. Pembahasan suhu lebih spesifik karena saat ini terjadi penyakit yang lebih menitikberatkan pada suhu tubuh manusia. Alat ini dirancang untuk mendeteksi kenaikan suhu tubuh seseorang dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi mikrokontroler Arduino Nano. Pembuatan mesin dilakukan dengan alat dan bahan seperti kotak box, sensor ultrasonik, sensor suhu MLX90614 GY-906 dan buzzer. Pengujian alat dilakukan dengan beberapa sampel sehingga mendapatkan hasil pengecekan yang valid. Proses pembuatan alat sensor suhu menghasilkan waktu proses operasi dengan ringkasan kegiatan operasi dengan jumlah 12 operasi dan waktu total 11,75 jam, sedangkan proses pemeriksaan sebanyak 2 proses pemeriksaan dengan waktu total 1,75 jam sehingga waktu total proses operasi sebesar 13,50 jam.

Abstract

This paper examines the growing dominance of the executive in Indonesia’s constitutional practice and its impact on the weakening oversight function of the House of Representatives (DPR). In principle, the DPR serves as a counterbalance through checks and balances as mandated by the 1945 Constitution. However, a gap persists between this normative ideal and political reality. Using a normative legal approach with statutory and conceptual analysis, this study finds that broad governing coalitions significantly undermine the DPR’s oversight role by blurring the distinction between the overseer and the overseen. The article emphasizes the need to revitalize the DPR’s oversight function by strengthening control mechanisms, fostering informal opposition within parliamentary factions, and limiting executive influence in legislation. These steps are necessary to ensure that checks and balances function not only formally but also substantively in Indonesia’s constitutional system.

Abstract

Pendidikan seni formal berorientasi pada penguasaan keterampilan dan pencapaian akademik, sehingga belum sepenuhnya mampu menjadi ruang pembentukan identitas dan kesadaran budaya peserta didik. Sanggar seni hadir sebagai ruang alternatif pendidikan yang memungkinkan terjadinya pewarisan nilai budaya secara kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mekanisme pembelajaran berbasis budaya serta menganalisis proses pembentukan martabat budaya di Sanggar Tari Al-Manar Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pndekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme pembelajaran berbasis budaya di Sanggar Tari Al-Manar berlangsung melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu keterlibatan langsung dalam praktik tari, pemaknaan simbolik terhadap nilai budaya, dan internalisasi melalui pengalaman estetis dan interaksi sosial. Proses ini berkontribusi pada pembentukan martabat budaya yang ditandai dengan tumbuhnya kesadaran budaya, rasa memiliki, kepercayaan diri, dan kebanggaan terhadap budaya lokal. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa Sanggar Tari Al-Manar tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang pelatihan seni, tetapi juga sebagai ruang alternatif pendidikan budaya yang efektif dalam membangun identitas budaya generasi muda di tengah arus globalisasi
