Abstract

This research aims to analyze works of expression drawings on family themes and analyze the creative values of students in class IV elementary school. This research was conducted in Class IV of SDN 1 Sadang, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency, Central Java. The method used in this research is an exploratory qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses Miles and Huberman's theory, including data reduction, data presentation and conclusion verification. Based on the results of the research, it was found that (1) Analysis of students' expressive drawings on family themes includes: (a) Utilization of surrounding objects, (b) Expression in the drawing, (c) Neatness of the drawing, (d) Completeness of the drawing object, and (e) Color composition. (2) Analysis of students' creative values in drawing expressions of family themes including: (a) Curiosity, (b) Ideas and suggestions (c) Appreciation of beauty, (d) Ability to work independently, and (e) Desire to try new things. With the right guidance, students' creativity can continue to be developed to improve their creative thinking and aesthetic skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) develop learning media in the form of BAPER Box teaching aids; (2) find out the feasibility of BAPER Box teaching aids in the form of math addition material for fifth grade students. This research is an RD research that adopts development from Borg Gall. The subjects in this study were 15 students in class V SD 2 Getassrabi and the data collection instrument used was a questionnaire given to material experts, media experts, students and teachers of class V SD 2 Getassrabi to test the feasibility of learning media in the form of a questionnaire in the form of condition. The types of data generated are qualitative and quantitative data which are analyzed with the guideline of category assessment criteria to determine the feasibility of the product. The results of this study are; 1) the learning media that has been developed is in the form of a BAPER Box visual aid; 2) the feasibility of the media in the form of BAPER Box learning that has been developed is feasible with an average score of 3.1 based on the assessment of material experts at the final stage after improvement, design experts with an average acquisition score of 3.5 with a feasible assessment, the results of student responses with a proportion of 2.8 with adequate criteria, the results of class teacher responses with an average score of 3.4 with feasible criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze morphological level language errors in students' narrative essay texts. The method used is qualitative method. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, documentation of students' essays, and literature study. Documentation of narrative essays of 4th grade students of SD 1 Barongan which amounted to 6 essays. The data analysis technique consists of data collection, identifying language errors, explaining language errors, classifying, and evaluating language errors. The results showed that morphological errors that were mostly found in students' narrative essays were origin form errors.  This is because there are still some students who do not understand basic words. To overcome this, the solution offered by the homeroom teacher is to conduct learning with games. The learning method proved to be able to make it easier for students to remember vocabulary. This research is expected to be an input in the preparation of Indonesian language materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personal values and educational values contained in the children's story "The Buncir" by Asep Rahmat Hidayat. The story "Si Buncir" is a fairytale genre that has many moral messages for readers and as an alternative learning in conveying messages to elementary students. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data is the story script "The Buncir". Data collection techniques were carried out using literature study techniques, while data analysis techniques used content analysis with the results described in a narrative manner. Based on the results of the study it was found that, First, personal values include emotional development, intellectual development, imagination development, social sense growth, and ethical and religious sense growth. Second, educational values include religious values, honesty, discipline, independence, curiosity, democracy, responsibility. Thus, this children's story book provides messages and moral lessons about character that can be emulated by children, especially elementary school children, both in terms of developing personal values and character education values.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1] Develop learning media in the form of Javanese script board media on Javanese legena script material 2] Knowing student responses to the feasibility of learning media in the form of Javanese on Javanese legena script material in the form of Javanese script board media for grade 3 students SD. RD research adopting development from Borg Gall. The results of this study are: 1) Learning media has been developed in the form of PAKARJA BOARDS (Javanese script card boards) in the form of board and card media. 2) The feasibility of the PAPAN PAKARJA learning media that has been developed is very feasible with a percentage of 90% based on the final stage material expert assessment after improvement of the design expert with a percentage of 82.5% with feasible criteria. 3) With a percentage of 81.2% teacher assessment with proper criteria. 4) The results of student responses with a percentage of 90% with feasible criteria. 5) The average pretest score is 78 and the posttest score is 98, so the biggest percentage increase is 26%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PAPAN PAKARJA learning media is suitable for increasing reading interest in learning Javanese script in the Legenda Javanese script material.

Abstract

Buku cerita anak-anak memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk nilai-nilai dan pendidikan pada anak-anak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi nilai personal dan nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam buku cerita "Si Bungsu" karya Chrisna Putri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka melalui pembacaan literatur untuk memahami kontribusi nilai-nilai personal dan pendidikan dalam buku cerita. Setelah melalui proses studi pustaka, peneliti mencatat hal – hal penting sehingga ditemukan hasil analisis buku cerita "Si Bungsu" menyajikan beberapa nilai personal dan nilai pendidikan. Nilai personal yang terkandung dalam buku cerita tersebut antara lain perkembangan emosional, intelektual, imajinasi, rasa sosial, serta pertumbuhan rasa etis dan religius. Sedangkan nilai – nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam buku cerita tersebut antara lain nilai religius, tanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, peduli lingkungan, dan nilai peduli sosial. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif dengan mendeskripsikan data hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya buku cerita dalam membentuk nilai-nilai personal dan pendidikan pada anak-anak. Buku cerita "Si Bungsu" karya Chrisna Putri memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam hal ini, dengan menyampaikan pesan-pesan yang bernilai dan membantu anak-anak untuk memahami pentingnya sikap positif dan pembelajaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Nilai moral adalah tingkah laku baik atau buruk seseorang dalam lingkungan masyarakat yang menunjukkan kualitas perbuatan manusia. Dongeng dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik dalam menjelaskan materi pelajaran bagi anak. Dongeng adalah sarana yang efektif untuk memberikan pendidikan nilai-nilai pada anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah teknik baca dan teknik catat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai moral yang terkait hubungan manusia dengan sesama dalam kumpulan dongeng pada buku yang berjudul 100 Dongeng Nusantara karya Wahyu Astuti. Hasil penelitian pada buku yang berjudul 100 Dongeng Nusantara karya Wahyu Astuti terdapat nilai moral peduli sesama yang ada pada cerita Putri Bunga Melur, Putri Pandan Berduri, Semangka Emas, Sari Bulan, Asal Usul Tanjung Menangis di Halmahera, Sultan Domas yang Baik Hati, La Sirimbone yang beruntung, Nyai Anteh Sang Penunggu Bulan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in the average value of science understanding before and after using the PBL learning model assisted by SIRPA flipbook media and determine the increase in science understanding by implementing the PBL learning model assisted by SIRPA flipbook media. This research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental type of research. The design of this research is One Group Pretest Posttest. In this research, data collection techniques used observation, interviews and tests. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test and the N-Gain test. The results of the research prove that the PBL learning model assisted by SIRPA flipbook media makes a difference and increases understanding of IPAS as shown by the results of the paired sample t-test, which obtained a Sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the N-Gain test results obtained a value of 0.4252 which is in the range 0.3 < N-Gain < 0.7 with medium criteria. Based on the research results, the use of the PBL learning model assisted by SIRPA flipbook media is effective in increasing fifth grade students' understanding of science and science

Abstract

The problem faced by teachers of SD 2 Kesambi is that they have not utilized interactive learning media based on gamification in the learning process. Ideally, a teacher should be able to develop teaching skills, especially in providing varied learning using interesting media. This activity aims to provide training in the use of interactive quiz media based on wordwall gamification. Participants in this activity were 8 teachers of SD 2 Kesambi. The method of this training activity was in the form of socialization (lectures), practice, discussion and questions and answers. Based on the results of the implementation of the training activities, it shows that the activity has been carried out well. This success can be seen from the results of the evaluation carried out before and after the training. These results show that there is a significant increase in understanding of the creation and use of interactive quiz learning media based on wordwall gamification by teachers of SD 2 Kesambi. The understanding of participants before the training was 49% to 91% after the training. This means that previous participants did not really understand this gamification application. Then after the training, participants were able to create interactive quiz media. Thus, through training in creating interactive quiz media, teachers can improve their teaching skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe errors in language use, especially in the area of phonology, in students' essays at SD N 1 Jojo. The method used in this research is qualitative narrative. The data comes from a narrative essay entitled "Analysis of Phonological Errors in Elementary School N 1 Jojo Students' Essays with the theme of heroes" written by fourth grade students at SD N 1 Jojo. Data collection techniques are obtained using documentation techniques which are obtained by documenting student essays. Data analysis uses analytical techniques with the Miles and Huberman model, which is interactive and continues until completion. The results of the research showed that there were 30% phonological errors in the essays of SD N 1 Jojo students with the theme of heroes. The phonological errors that we analyze include errors in using capital letters in the first letters of holidays 5%, errors in writing compositions of words in sentences 5%, errors in spelling words in sentences 5%, errors in using inappropriate prepositions 5%, errors in using inappropriate conjunctions 5%, and discrepancy in the pronunciation of sounds 5%.
