Abstract

The development of Islamic philanthropy in Indonesia has shown significant growth along with growing public awareness of religious-based donation practices. However, this increase has not been fully accompanied by a uniform level of transparency and open reporting among Islamic philanthropic institutions. This situation presents challenges in building public trust, especially amidst increasing demands for accountability and access to information in the digital environment. This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in increasing transparency in the management and reporting of donations in Islamic philanthropy in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach, reviewing various scientific literature, institutional reports, and academic publications relevant to the research topic. The results indicate that limitations in reporting systems and fragmented data management remain major obstacles to achieving transparency in Islamic philanthropy. The use of blockchain technology has the potential to strengthen the traceability of fund flows, the reliability of transaction recording, and the ongoing access to donation information for the public. Increased transparency through this technology-based system has implications for strengthening public trust, sustainable donor participation, and the institutional legitimacy of Islamic philanthropy in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Discussion-Comparison with Critical Analysis and Learning Community Extended methods on student motivation and cognitive learning outcomes in Biology at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a Nonrandomized Control-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class taught using innovative methods and the control class taught using conventional methods. The research instruments were a validated motivation questionnaire and a multiple-choice cognitive learning outcome test. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test and N-Gain calculations. The results showed that students in the experimental class had higher learning motivation than those in the control class. In addition, the increase in cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class was also more significant, with an average N-Gain of 0.7225 (high category), while the control class only reached 0.1020 (low category). These findings prove that integrating critical discussion with practitioner involvement can increase students' motivation, conceptual understanding, and analytical skills. Thus, the use of this method is more effective than conventional learning in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation and economic growth on the open unemployment rate in Western Indonesia. The research method used is panel data analysis with a fixed regression model approach, which involves processing data from several provinces in the region during a certain period. The results of the analysis show that economic growth has a significant effect on reducing the unemployment rate, while inflation does not have a significant effect on unemployment in the study area. The interpretation of these results shows that increased economic activity can reduce unemployment, while fluctuations in inflation do not directly affect the unemployment rate substantially. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening economic growth as an effort to control unemployment, while the effect of inflation is relatively insignificant in the context of Western Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is conducted due to several problems in the English listening test used by the teacher. The English teacher did not consider the difficulty level of the test items, did not analyze whether the items could distinguish students’ abilities, did not conduct item analysis, and used a test with an unbalanced distribution of difficulty levels. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the difficulty level and discrimination index of English listening test items used at SMP N 1 Bukittinggi. This research used a descriptive quantitative method. The data were obtained from students’ scores on an English listening test consisting of 10 true/false items. The data were analyzed using formulas proposed by Brown & Abeywickrama. The results showed that the listening test items were valid but not reliable, with a reliability coefficient of 0.40. Based on the difficulty level analysis, 6 items (60%) were categorized as easy and 4 items (40%) as moderate. No difficult items were found, indicating that the test was relatively easy for the students. The discrimination index analysis showed that 5 items (50%) were classified as good, 4 items (40%) as satisfactory, and 1 item (10%) as poor. Overall, the listening test did not meet the criteria of a good quality test.
