Abstract

Background: One of the services covered by BPJS Kesehatan is the provision of hearing aids for patients with hearing impairments. Hearing aids play an important role in improving patients' quality of life in terms of communication, social interaction, and productivity. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the BPJS hearing aid policy on the level of patient acceptance.. Method: This research is quantitative with an analytical observational design. The sample consists of BPJS Kesehatan users who visited CV Power Hearing Bali and met the research criteria, totaling 30 individuals, selected using a total sampling technique. Data was collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire for all research variables. The collected data was then analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. Result: The study results indicate that the service received variable has a significance value (p-value = 0.007), waiting time (p-value = 0.048), and satisfaction level (p-value = 0.007). Conclusion: There is an influence of the implementation of the BPJS hearing aid policy on the level of patient acceptance at CV Power Hearing Bali.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Ottoman method can increase Al-Qur'an literacy at the Menara Fitrah IT Elementary School. The methods used in collecting data in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research found that by using the Ottoman method students who do not yet know the hijaiyyah letters or who can read the Qur'an but have not yet mastered reading such as makhrojul letters or where the hijaiyyah letters come out and the properties of the letters, the students are given training and guidance continuously how to read the hijaiyyah letters with the correct reading, so that they are not only able to memorize the hijaiyyah letters and the reading of the Qur'an, but can pronounce them (mahrijul letters and character traits) according to good reading and recitation. So that after learning the Ottoman method, it is very influential so that students are able to read the Qur'an well and correctly according to the reading and the rules of recitation

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of three Islamic epistemological approaches—Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani—in Arabic language education. These approaches represent distinct yet complementary sources and methods of acquiring knowledge, collectively contributing to the development of a holistic and meaningful instructional model. The Bayani approach emphasizes textual interpretation based on authoritative sources and classical scholarly traditions; the Burhani approach prioritizes logic and rational analysis; while the Irfani approach centers on intuition, spiritual depth, and inner experience. Through a literature review of philosophical and Arabic language education sources, this study finds that the current dominance of the grammatical approach in Arabic instruction has led to a fragmentation of meaning and a disconnection from the philosophical and spiritual dimensions of the language. Integrating these three epistemological perspectives not only strengthens learners’ linguistic competencies but also cultivates critical thinking and spiritual awareness of language as a divine medium. This research proposes an epistemological synthesis model as an alternative pedagogical framework for a more contextual, reflective, and transformative Arabic language learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the artificial intelligence (AI)-based application Duolingo in improving the English language skills of grade X A students at Madrasah Aliyah Darut Tauhid. This study used a descriptive method involving 29 students as samples. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires which were analyzed using descriptive analysis for qualitative data and simple statistical analysis for quantitative data. The results showed that the use of Duolingo significantly helped students improve their vocabulary and speaking skills, as revealed through interviews. Observations showed consistent usage patterns, with effective study duration several times a week. Analysis of questionnaire data revealed that students showed high enthusiasm, found the app effective, were motivated and engaged in learning. Nonetheless, students also identified advantages and disadvantages of the app, including limitations of features that do not fully support productive skills such as speaking. This research makes an important contribution to the literature related to AI-based learning and educational practice, by emphasizing the need for integration of apps like Duolingo into the curriculum to increase student motivation and engagement. However, this study has limitations in terms of population coverage, study duration, and perceptual measurement.

Abstract

The provision of medical procedures without patient consent or without informed consent is a crucial issue in medical practice that directly touches aspects of professional ethics and the protection of patients' human rights. In Indonesia, although regulations have explicitly regulated the importance of patient consent before medical action is taken, there are still many cases of violations that have the potential to have legal repercussions for medical personnel. Violations of the principle of informed consent not only injure the patient's right to know and decide, but can also be a form of malpractice that is physically and psychologically detrimental. This research aims to answer the question of how legal liability can be imposed on medical personnel who perform medical acts without informed consent, what is the legal basis that regulates it, and the extent to which patients' legal protection is recognized and enforced. The focus of the study is directed to juridical analysis of laws and regulations as well as studies of several concrete cases that have occurred in Indonesia. The legal liability studied includes civil, criminal, and professional aspects of medical personnel. The research methodology used is a juridical normative approach with qualitative analysis techniques. Data was obtained from literature studies on laws, court decisions, professional codes of ethics, and other relevant documents. Conceptual approaches and case approaches are used to explore how legal principles are applied in practice as well as assess the effectiveness of legal protection for patients. The results of the study show that medical personnel who perform medical actions without informed consent can be held legally accountable based on the Civil Code, the Criminal Code, and Law Number 29 of 2004 concerning Medical Practice. These actions can qualify as defaults, unlawful acts, or even criminal acts. Therefore, it is important for governments and health institutions to strengthen the implementation of regulations through socialization and strict supervision of informed consent procedures. Technical revisions are also needed in the form of derivative regulations that clarify operational standards and responsive law enforcement mechanisms.

Abstract

Kerja sama ambe’en is one type of cooperation that relies on the basic values ​​of Islamic economics. It can be cantegorized as syirkah al-Inaan. This study focuses on: the implementation of kerja sama ambe'en and the Islamic economic perspective on kerja sama ambe'en, a case study of Sumber Barokah Boat at Muncar Port, Banyuwangi Regency. The research method used was a qualitative approach. The data collected were primary data and secondary data. Data source obtained through observation, interviews with owners, investors, and the person in charge in Sumber Barokah Boat, as well as documentation. Analysis technique used was domain analysis, taxonomic analysis and theme analysis. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it shows that kerja sama ambe’en on the Sumber Barokah Boat implements syirkah al-Inaan contract by combining assets or capital. The capital that is given is the form of working capital by the owner of the Sumber Barokah Boat and capital that paid as needed, while the other parts provides capital in 80,000,000 with 10% profit sharing through an agreement. This cooperation has covered almost all the basic values ​​of Islamic economics.

Abstract

Food insecurity, malnutrition, and hunger persist as unresolved issues in many countries in Central, South, Southeast, and East Asia. Importing food as well as focusing on food production can enhance food security in various countries within the area, which is linked to different income levels and other influencing factors. This research examined the effectiveness of agricultural indices, food imports, and seven food security indicators across 23 selected nations in Asia and Australia, categorized by income groups: lower middle, upper middle, and high income. A descriptive method was adopted to examine the non-parametric relationships between variables, elucidated using Biplot diagrams and ultimately displaying the analysis findings using PCA. The findings disclosed a clear link between agricultural indices (agricultural GDP and agricultural public finance) and food supply from imports concerning food security achievements in Asian and Australian countries. Lower-middle-income countries in Southeast, South, and Central Asia exhibited insufficient agricultural output to meet the food needs of their populations. Nevertheless, some of these countries imported a significant amount of food. However, malnutrition, food insecurity, and health problems caused by insufficient food supply and poor nutrition remained significant challenges. Conversely, countries with greater income levels (high and upper-middle) often provided their citizens with improved access to nutritious and high-quality food, fulfilling the energy demands essential for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

Abstract

The financing system for medical services in Indonesia, which is managed by the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) Kesehatan, is one of the important aspects in ensuring access to health for the community. However, the practice of financing often causes disputes between BPJS and hospitals regarding claims for medical service costs that are considered inappropriate. This dispute raises legal and administrative problems that have the potential to disrupt the smooth running of health services and patient rights. Therefore, an in-depth analysis of the legal role of BPJS Kesehatan in resolving the financing dispute is needed. This research aims to examine the legal role of BPJS Kesehatan in handling medical service financing disputes in hospitals and identify legal obstacles that arise in the dispute resolution process. In addition, this research also aims to provide recommendations for improving regulations and dispute resolution procedures to be more effective, fair, and transparent. The research method used is a normative qualitative approach with data collection techniques through the study of laws and regulations documents, cooperation contracts between BPJS and hospitals, as well as interviews with related parties such as BPJS managers, hospital management, and health law experts. The data were analyzed using normative and sociological juridical methods to obtain a comprehensive picture of legal aspects and their implementation. The results of the study revealed that BPJS's legal role in medical service financing disputes is still experiencing obstacles, especially due to the lack of detailed technical rules regarding claim procedures and dispute resolution mechanisms. This lack of clarity triggers tension between BPJS and hospitals, as well as has a negative impact on medical services. Therefore, strengthening regulations, transparency of claims procedures, and increasing the capacity of human resources in legal aspects are very necessary to optimize the function of BPJS in resolving financing disputes. The conclusion of the study states that the legal role of BPJS Kesehatan in medical service financing disputes needs to be improved through regulatory revision and the implementation of a more effective and accountable settlement mechanism. Recommendations were given for BPJS and hospitals to strengthen coordination and communication, as well as build a responsive dispute resolution system to maintain the quality of health services and public trust.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah seperti bisnis keripik singkong, memiliki peran signifikan dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, banyak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah menghadapi tantangan dalam mengidentifikasi faktor keberhasilan potensial dan mengembangkan strategi untuk tetap kompetitif di pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis usaha keripik singkong "Gazal Makmur" dari aspek pemasaran, teknis, dan operasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis ini memiliki potensi keberlanjutan yang tinggi, didukung oleh pengelolaan produk yang efektif, diversifikasi produk, dan efisiensi operasional. Namun, tantangan seperti fluktuasi harga bahan baku dan ketergantungan pada musim panen menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi. Strategi mitigasi berupa pengelolaan stok bahan baku dan pengembangan pemasaran digital telah diidentifikasi sebagai solusi utama. Dengan penerapan manajemen risiko dan optimalisasi strategi pemasaran, bisnis ini menunjukkan prospek cerah untuk tumbuh dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil, dan Menengah.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran memainkan peran krusial dalam proses pendidikan yang berfungsi sebagai sumber untuk memperluas wawasan siswa. Penggunaan media teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran tidak hanya meningkatkan minat belajar, tetapi dapat mendorong keaktifan siswa, seperti yang dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islam Kraksaan, yang mana siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi saat menggunakan teknologi. Hal ini menuntut guru untuk kreatif dalam mencari metode baru yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Era digital memungkinkan pendidikan menjadi lebih interaktif, di mana siswa belajar melalui pengalaman yang menyenangkan, menggunakan berbagai aplikasi dan platform pembelajaran digital.Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) memiliki kontribusi dalam transformasi pada dunia pendidikan, dengan membuka akses luas terhadap berbagai sumber belajar serta informasi dari seluruh dunia. Meski demikian, penggunaan TIK masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan minimnya tenaga ahli yang kompeten. Agar pembelajaran yang berbasis TIK dapat berjalan efektif, dibutuhkan fasilitas yang memadai serta dukungan dari kebijakan yang mendukung. Dengan demikian, TIK diharapkan mampu mendorong dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan interaktif, serta mengurangi ketergantungan pada penggunaan kertas, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat lebih optimal.
