Abstract

This article attempts to reveal the meaning of Islamic education in the Javanese ritual of Mangan Longan Turu Longan, by focusing on exploring what is done in the ritual so that it can map the form of the activity and its meaning. The article is a finding from the literature review research design, referring to the literature obtained by the researcher as a data source and as a reference for the theoretical basis and results found in the research. The results of the research show: that the Mangan Longan Turu Longan ritual contains the moral essence of a ritual that is carried out by reducing eating and sleeping by fasting and increasing the remembrance of Allah SWT. This will sharpen the mind so that the perpetrator becomes a strong person in navigating life's problems. This research is expected to contribute to the philosophy of Islamic education.

Abstract

This research seeks to investigate the meaning of life in the cartoon film Doraemon. The research is qualitative with a descriptive design, through descriptive analysis, it can be concluded that there is a meaning to life which can be a lesson for film lovers for those who see it with positive glasses where nothing is immediate in real life, everything requires a process of effort to make something happen. This study has theoretical implications, namely dissecting the plot of the film in detail, then analyzing life lessons where positive things are used as lessons to be emulated, and the negative sides are to be avoided. The practical implication is that this research can be used as a reference for film lovers to provide education to children, which are the positive and negative aspects. The research provides recommendations for academics who wish to study the meaning of life in cartoon films, as well as the need for strict assistance for children in watching television..

Abstract

The Prophet was a role model in various ways, so it is interesting to know his strategy for teaching monotheism to his friends. This article includes literature research that is qualitative-descriptive, using the primary source Politikus Sittah and related reference secondary data, collected using random sampling techniques, analyzed: reduction, interpretation, comparison, and reflection. The research concludes: through searching several hadiths, it can be found that Rasulullah used the NLP method in educating his friends regarding monotheism material. NLP in the form of building closeness using the Pacing technique, namely how students follow the body movements made by the educator to equalize brain waves, where the body, thoughts and feelings are one unit. If thoughts and feelings are united, then there will definitely be a match so that whatever is said by both parties can be accepted directly by the subconscious mind without having to be criticized first by the conscious mind. In this way, what the Prophet hoped would reach the students, namely the Prophet's friends.

Abstract

Human life is like a cart wheel where the cycle of fate will always run along the path determined by God. It is necessary to respond to the phenomenon of uncertainty in fate so that one does not fall into despair. So, the aim of this article is to try to explore the important up and down positions of happiness: relaxation of the nature of qana'ah, as a solution to the uncertain cycle of life. Through a phenomenological approach, the research results show that the qonaah attitude is able to answer the probalematics of uncertainty in human fate. The Qanaah attitude is an application of an attitude of gratitude, which has proven to be effective as self-therapy for psychological illnesses which often have a negative impact on physical health. This is because within a person there will be an attitude of acceptance of reality, whether he is sick or healthy, when he is well off, poor or deficient. The implication of the research is that the nature of qonaah is needed as a habit so that it becomes a character. Research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education.

Abstract

The article aims to reveal the relaxation of faith through religious football, emphasizing reflective thinking and relaxation. Through a theoretical approach, the research concluded: that religious football is an interpretation of the 5 pillars of Islam and 6 pillars of faith so that the total is 11 so it is the same as a football team. Relaxation of faith through religious football contemplation is carried out by reducing each pillar as part of the dimension of faith which must be transcendent by exercising feelings in every activity of daily life so that everything has the dimension of worship. With this strategy, faith will increase closer to God until it penetrates into the soul which has an impact on calm in life. The research contributes to ways of increasing faith by emphasizing reflective thinking and relaxation.

Abstract

Madrasah organizational culture is a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes one madrasah from another. Madrasa Organizational Culture is carried out by all members in it, starting from Teachers, Employees, Students, to School Committees, because madrasas are a system. The application of Madrasah Organizational Culture is applied to students starting from students attending MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo until they go home. This certainly affects the formation of discipline and religious students. This study used a qualitative method that is descriptive analysis in nature. The subjects of this study were the Head of Madrasah, Waka Curriculum, and Students of MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo, while the object was the organizational culture of Madrasah Negeri 2 Wonosobo Madrasah. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation studies with data analysis techniques are qualitative data analysis. The results of the research conducted by the author are: 1) The ideal concept of Madrasah Organizational Culture is one that fits the needs and also the real conditions that exist in the Madrasah. In this case MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo adapts its Madrasah Organizational Culture to the situations and conditions in the school environment. 2) The efforts of the Madrasah head in shaping the organizational culture of the Madrasah can be structural and non-structural. 3) Factors Inhibiting the Formation of Madrasah Organizational Culture on Discipline and Religion of Students at MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo, among others; First, the obstacles from students, namely the tendency of students to have a dynamic nature, because children of their age are indeed experiencing a period of development and exploration, which then creates a feeling of laziness. Second, the lack of support from parents. While the Supporting Factors include; First, awareness by all school members of the importance of Madrasah Organizational Culture. Second, full support from all stakeholders for the success of the program related to the madrasah organizational culture. Third, support from parents and society. Fourth, the use of the habituation method or habite rule. Fifth, a supportive environment. Sixth, facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the title of honorary professor from the poles of academic achievement and marwah, emphasizing solutions from different perceptions. The article is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research concluded that Honorary Professor is an academic title of professor from a tertiary institution which is awarded as a form of appreciation to everyone from non-academic circles for having extraordinary achievements. The title of professor through the academic route must be obtained with difficulty, while for non-academic it is feared that it will be used for political-economic interests which can open transactional loopholes. The academic community must encourage the awarding of honorary degrees to run transparently and on target so that negative potential can be avoided.

Abstract

Dalam pandangan Islam, anak merupakan amanah Allah  atas kedua orang tua. Untuk itu, orang tua berkewajiban menjaga dan mendidik anaknya supaya selamat dunia dan akhirat. Bahkan keselamatan kehidupan keluarga juga merupakan tanggung jawab orang tua. Banyak anggapan bahwa kewajiban dan peran ayah hanyalah bekerja mencari nafkah untuk menghidupi keluarga, sedangkan ibu mendidik anak serta mengurusi pekerjaan rumah tangga, padahal seharusnya orang tua (ayah-ibu) harus dapat berkerja sama untuk mendidik anak-anaknya, dalam arti tugas mendidik anak bukan hanya tanggungjawab ibu saja, karena ayah merupakan pemandu, pendidik, pelindung dan pemimpin atau kepala keluarga. Adapun kewajiban dan tanggungjawab ibu adalah menjaga, memelihara, dan mengelola keluarga di rumah suaminya, terlebih lagi mendidik dan merawat anaknya.  Optimalisasi peran orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter anak diharapkan mampu mempersonalisasikan nilai-nilai karakter dan akhlak mulia sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan hasilnya dapat dilihat yaitu antara lain; cinta kepada Allah, RasulNya dan kebenaran, jujur, amanah, bertanggungjawab, disiplin, hormat dan santun, peduli, kasih sayang, bisa mengendalikan diri dan percaya diri, kreatif, pantang menyerah, adil dan berjiwa pemimpin, baik, sabar, tawakkal, rendah hati dan toleran serta cinta damai.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the value of the moral education of the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab in the fifth grade SKI book at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah, how relevant the value of moral education of the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab is today, and the importance of moral education from an early age. This research is a type of qualitative research in the nature of library research. There are two data sources used, namely the primary data source, namely the book History of Islamic Culture for the fifth grade of Madrasah Ibtida'iyah. Then secondary data is data that provides information to data collectors indirectly, for example through other people or documents, as well as other books related to moral education and the history of Islamic culture. The data collection technique is by collecting materials that are relevant to the research and supported by other data sources that are considered to be closely related to this research. Next, data analysis in this research uses content analysis and then conclusions are drawn. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that. The moral education values that can be taken from the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab are honesty and trustworthiness, responsibility, caring for others, simplicity, fairness and firmness, and being firm in keeping promises. The relevance of moral education from the time of Caliph Umar until now is that it is responsive to public complaints and the culture of queuing.
