Abstract

The intense competition in the business sector motivates every business unit to manage their services, especially towards their customers, to the fullest. One of them is to increase customer loyalty by segmenting or grouping each customer into several clusters and determining the appropriate marketing strategy for each of these groups. Loyalty is the tendency of customers to purchase a product or service from a business unit with a high level of consumption consistency. Customer loyalty will become a point of success not only in the short term but also in the long term as a sustainable advantage. In determining the segmentation of loyal customers, a careful and accurate analysis based on the characteristics of each customer in their transactions is necessary. Segmentation or grouping of customers can be done through RFM analysis (Recency, Frequency, and Monetary) using primary customer data, which in this study is the customer data of PCP Cafe. The research results show that there are 3 (three) customer segments, namely non-loyal customers, less loyal customers, and very loyal customers. Disloyal customers are those who frequently move around and do not consistently visit or purchase products. Less loyal customers are those who often come but do not yet fall into the category of loyal customers. Meanwhile, very loyal customers are those who frequently visit and repeatedly purchase products. The results of the segmentation will later serve as the basis for determining the development strategy of the business unit in the future.

Abstract

Implementasi Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) telah menjadi strategi yang semakin umum diadopsi oleh Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mengelola sumber daya mereka dengan lebih baik. Salah satu aspek penting dari ERP adalah kemampuannya untuk mempengaruhi akses UMKM terhadap modal kerja yang vital untuk pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan bisnis mereka. Tulisan ini membahas pada UMKM implementasi ERP Marquee Technology Solutions dalam mendapatkan modal kerja, dengan fokus pada peningkatan proses pengelolaan keuangan, optimasi rantai pasokan, dan peningkatan kepercayaan dari pihak pemberi pinjaman dan investor. Melalui analisis literatur dan studi kasus, tulisan ini menyoroti bagaimana Sistem ERP dapat membantu UMKM dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kualitas informasi keuangan, mempercepat siklus operasi, mengurangi biaya, dan meningkatkan efisiensi, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kemungkinan untuk mendapatkan modal kerja dari berbagai sumber. Implikasi praktis dan rekomendasi bagi UMKM dan pihak berkepentingan lainnya juga dibahas untuk memberikan panduan dalam memanfaatkan potensi ERP dalam mendukung keberhasilan finansial UMKM dan pertumbuhan ekonomi secara keseluruhan. Selain itu dalam penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi Teknologi Informasi dalam menyesuaikan kebutuhan UMKM dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bisnis, dengan meningkatkan efisiensi proses bisnis secara efisiensi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of financial factors on company value and stock performance in coal subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study is based on the necessity of understanding how financial indicators such as profitability, leverage, liquidity, and corporate actions influence firm value and investor perception, especially in capital-intensive industries that are extremely sensitive to external swings. Previous research has shown conflicting results, indicating the need for additional empirical examination, particularly in Indonesia's energy sector setting. The study adopts a quantitative approach called Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample consists of 57 observations gathered specifically from coal company annual reports for the years 2023-2024. Exogenous factors (X) include profitability (ROA, ROE), leverage (DER), liquidity (CR), and corporate action (DIV). Endogenous variables (Y) include Stock Performance (Stock Return) and Firm Value (PBV). The study shows that only leverage has a substantial and favourable effect on stock performance (path coefficient = 0.331, p-value = 0.005). Other variables, including profitability, liquidity, and corporate actions, have no substantial impact on firm valuation or stock performance. These findings imply that, in the coal sector, external factors and market mood may be more important than traditional financial measures in determining business value and investor reactions

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap motivasi, persepsi, dan nilai-nilai bersama di balik fenomena bermain gim daring berbasis telepon genggam (smartphone) dikalangan pekerja kantoran di Jabodetabek. Dalam lingkungan kerja yang penuh tekanan dan dinamis, banyak pekerja kantoran memanfaatkan gim daring sebagai sarana untuk relaksasi, sosialisasi, dan pengembangan diri. Melalui pendekatan etnografi, peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan responden berusia 21-37 tahun, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana bermain gim daring dapat memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan, seperti mengurangi stres, meningkatkan keterampilan, serta membangun hubungan sosial di tengah tuntutan hidup perkotaan. Gim daring terbukti menjadi bentuk hiburan yang fleksibel dan dapat diakses di sela-sela kesibukan kerja, menjadikannya sesuai dengan jadwal para pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga shared value pemain gim daring, yang pertama yaitu "relaksasi", value ini membuat gim menjadi pilihan utama untuk mengatasi kepenatan dan rutinitas sehari-hari, kemudian value kedua adalah "berjiwa kompetitif", value ini menunjukkan dorongan kuat untuk mencapai prestasi tertinggi, yang juga dapat memicu kecanduan. Dan terakhir, value "social validation" mencerminkan kebutuhan akan pengakuan sosial, baik melalui permainan bersama komunitas maupun melalui pengeluaran dalam bentuk pembelian dalam gim (top-up) untuk meningkatkan status. Shared value ini menunjukkan bahwa gim daring tidak hanya sebagai sarana hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pencapaian pribadi dan pengakuan sosial bagi para pemainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) after the merger with PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia (H3I) or Tri Indonesia. PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison) in 2021 based on net profit margin artio, return on asset ratio and return on equity ratio in 2020 (before the merger) and 2022 (after the merger). This study uses the K-Mean classification analysis approach through SPSS software. The results showed that there were differences in the clusters of PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison) before the merger and after the merger, namely the 2020 data is in cluster 3, where cluster 3 is a fairly good cluster based on ROA, ROE and NPM performance calculations PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison). While in the 2022 data PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison) is in cluster 4, where cluster 4 is cluster B based on calculations of its ROA, ROE and NPM performance. Abstract

This research aims to explore the dominant values adopted by young leaders in mining companies in East Kalimantan and their impact on corporate performance. Utilizing a rigorous ethnographic approach, the study involves four General Managers (GMs) under the age of 40 as primary participants, carefully selected to represent the perspectives and experiences of young leaders in this highly complex sector. Data collection was conducted through various methods, including participatory observation, which enabled the researcher to comprehend the social and cultural contexts influencing decision-making, in-depth interviews that provided insights into the values and personal beliefs of these leaders. The findings of this study reveal that young leaders in the mining companies tend to adopt fundamental values such as integrity, effective communication, collaboration, fast learner and adaptability, which have significantly influenced their daily management practices. By integrating these values into the company’s strategies, these young leaders not only demonstrate a commitment to sustainability practices and social responsibility but also succeed in creating an inclusive and collaborative work environment where every individual feels valued and motivated to contribute. The impact of the implementation of these values on corporate performance is observed through enhanced operational efficiency, an improved company reputation in the public eye, and a significant increase in employee satisfaction levels. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai dominan yang diadopsi oleh pemimpin muda di perusahaan pertambangan di Kalimantan Timur dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Berdasarkan pendekatan etnografi yang mendalam, penelitian ini melibatkan empat orang General Manager (GM) yang berusia di bawah 45 tahun sebagai partisipan utama, yang dipilih dengan cermat untuk merepresentasikan perspektif dan pengalaman pemimpin muda di sektor yang sangat kompleks ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk observasi partisipatif yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami konteks sosial dan budaya yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan, wawancara mendalam yang memberikan wawasan atas nilai-nilai dan keyakinan pribadi para pemimpin tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin muda di perusahaan pertambangan tersebut cenderung mengadopsi nilai-nilai fundamental seperti integritas, komunikasi efektif, kolaboratif, fast learner dan adaptabilitas, yang secara signifikan telah memengaruhi praktik manajemen sehari-hari. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai ini dalam strategi perusahaan, pemimpin muda tidak hanya menunjukkan komitmen terhadap praktik keberlanjutan dan tanggung jawab sosial, tetapi juga berhasil menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang inklusif dan kolaboratif, di mana setiap individu merasa dihargai dan termotivasi untuk berkontribusi. Dampak dari penerapan nilai-nilai ini terhadap kinerja perusahaan bisa dilihat melalui peningkatan efisiensi operasional, reputasi perusahaan yang lebih baik di mata publik, serta tingkat kepuasan karyawan yang mengalami peningkatan signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to understand community preferences for choosing alternative medical treatment through grounded theory methodology. This method was selected to explore the decision-making process and the meanings individuals assign when choosing alternative medicine compared to conventional medical treatment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six respondents who have experience using alternative medicine, selected from various educational, social, and cultural backgrounds. The data analysis process was conducted using coding techniques (open coding), category formation (axial coding), and theme integration (selective coding) to build a substantive theory regarding this phenomenon. The study results indicate that the choice of alternative medicine is influenced by several key factors, including the desire for safe treatment free from chemicals, as well as personal experiences and recommendations from close acquaintances, friends, or family, which are obtained through word-of-mouth or social media. Additionally, patients' decisions are also influenced by a more holistic approach to addressing health issues, both physical and emotional. The theory that can be constructed from the research data is that patients prefer alternative medicine because they perceive it as safe, without side effects, free from chemical medications, and able to be combined with medical treatment. The conclusions drawn from this research illustrate that the selection of alternative medicine is a dynamic process influenced by subjective experiences, beliefs, and individual emotional needs. These findings are important for healthcare providers to understand the reasons behind patient preferences and how a holistic approach can be better integrated into the healthcare system. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami preferensi masyarakat dalam memilih pengobatan alternatif melalui metode grounded theory. Metode ini dipilih untuk mengeksplorasi proses pengambilan keputusan serta makna yang diberikan individu dalam memilih pengobatan alternatif dibandingkan dengan pengobatan medis konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 6 responden yang memiliki pengalaman menggunakan pengobatan alternatif, yang dipilih dari berbagai latar belakang pendidikan, sosial, budaya, Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan coding (open coding), pembentukan kategori (axial coding), dan integrasi tema (selective coding) untuk membangun teori substantif mengenai fenomena ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pilihan terhadap pengobatan alternatif dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor utama seperti keinginan untuk pengobatan yang aman dan bebas bahan kimia, dan juga dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pribadi dan rekomendasi dari orang terdekat, teman atau keluarga, yang didapat dari informasi mulut ke mulut atau sosial media. Selain itu, keputusan pasien juga dipengaruhi oleh pendekatan yang lebih holistik untuk menangani masalah kesehatan, baik fisik maupun emosional. Teori yang dapat dibangun dari data hasil penelitian adalah, preferensi pasien dalam memilih pengobatan alternatif karena mereka merasa pengobatan ini aman, di mana tanpa efek samping, bebas pemberian obat bahan kimia, dan bisa dikombinasikan dengan pengobatan medis. Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pemilihan pengobatan alternatif merupakan proses dinamis yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman subjektif, keyakinan, serta kebutuhan emosional individu. Temuan ini penting bagi penyedia layanan kesehatan untuk memahami alasan di balik preferensi pasien dan bagaimana pendekatan holistik dapat diintegrasikan lebih baik dalam sistem perawatan kesehatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh dua kelompok rasio keuangan utama, yaitu rasio struktur modal (Earnings Per Share/EPS dan Debt to Equity Ratio/DER) dan rasio profitabilitas (Return on Assets/ROA dan Net Profit Margin/NPM), terhadap nilai perusahaan dan harga saham pada perusahaan subsektor produksi batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2021–2024. Sektor batu bara memainkan peran strategis dalam ketahanan energi dan ekspor nasional, namun beroperasi di bawah regulasi pemerintah melalui kebijakan Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) yang mewajibkan 25% produksi dijual ke pasar domestik dengan harga tetap. Meskipun indikator kinerja keuangan telah banyak dikaji dalam konteks umum, penelitian yang secara khusus menelaah pengaruhnya pada sektor berbasis komoditas dan regulasi seperti batu bara masih terbatas. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan data sekunder dari IDX dan Yahoo Finance serta pengujian pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa EPS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, dan ROA berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. DER dan NPM tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator laba dan efisiensi aset memiliki pengaruh yang lebih nyata terhadap persepsi pasar (investor), dibandingkan dengan struktur modal atau margin, dalam konteks subsektor batu bara yang sedang menghadapi kebijakan penetapan harga domestik.

Abstract

                The millennial generation is one of the most active groups in utilizing digital technology, including online shopping, which has become an integral part of modern lifestyles. Millennial State Civil Apparatus (ASN) hold significant potential as digital consumers due to their substantial numbers and their tendency toward practical, fast, and secure consumption patterns. However, research on the values influencing online shopping decisions among ASN remains limited. This study aims to analyze the shared values that shape online shopping behavior of millennial ASN using a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with five millennial ASN aged 31–38 years. Data analysis employed coding techniques to identify dominant values and their intersections across respondents. The findings indicate that despite variations in shopping frequency, product types, and personal motivations, two primary values consistently emerge as shared values: promotions and security. Promotions, including price discounts, vouchers, and free shipping, serve as the main drivers of purchasing decisions, while security plays a crucial role in building trust toward e-commerce platforms. These results provide both academic insights and practical implications for developing digital business strategies targeting millennial ASN.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the Genesys application as an integrated system in the property business sector, focusing on two companies with distinct organizational types: PT WR (a state-owned enterprise) and PT PI (a private company). Employing a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, life histories, and document analysis. The study examines the reasons behind the system transition, the duration and process of implementation, the obstacles encountered, and the users’ experiences. Results indicate that PT WR completed implementation within six months, while PT PI required 14 months due to assumptions about standardized needs and internal adaptation delays. Challenges included system migration, lack of customization, and limited familiarity among certain departments, such as tenant relations and accounting. Management responses differed: PT WR initially switched to another system (Propertex) before returning to Genesys, while PT PI opted for continuous training and system adjustments in collaboration with the Genesys team. Ultimately, both companies experienced improvements in financial reporting, bank reconciliation, automated billing, tax invoice processing, and communication with tenants. This study underscores the role of management involvement, organizational readiness, and technical support in successful system integration. The ethnographic approach enriches the analysis by capturing behavioral and cultural dynamics throughout the digital transformation process.
