Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the magnitude of childhood vaccination disruption and to determine the predictors of delaying childhood vaccinations during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic among Indonesian parents. We conducted a nationwide, online, cross-sectional study. A set of questionnaires assessed the disruption of childhood vaccinations and possible explanatory variables, including demographic characteristics, current underlying disease, exposure to and confidence in COVID-19 information, perceived risk, attitude and practice on vaccination, and COVID-19 prevention practice. A multivariable linear regression was used to characterize the relationship between explanatory variables and delayed childhood vaccination. We included 1137 respondents for analysis, of which 52.6% were males and 58.4% participants aged between 31 and 50-years old. Disruption of childhood vaccination service in local health facilities was reported in 42.2% (480/1137) of respondents and 13.3% (193/1137) of respondents explained that their children could not be vaccinated because a healthcare facility temporary stopped the vaccination service. Of all respondents, 312 (27.4%) delayed vaccinating their children for a compulsory vaccination shot. Factors associated with higher odds of delaying compulsory vaccinations for children were employment and chronic disease status, flu vaccination status in the past year, and prior COVID-19 infection. In conclusion, there was a significant disruption of childhood vaccination practices in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is not only due to healthcare closures but also due to parents’ practice - delaying the compulsory childhood vaccination for their children. We urge the government to strengthen strategies to ensure childhood vaccination services are available to all children in the country during a pandemic.

Abstract

Heart failure is a pediatric emergency caused by the heart's inability to adequately meet the body metabolic needs and the most common cause is congenital heart disease (CHD). The G protein is the most prominent family of membrane-bound protein known to act in major regulatory events of the cardiovascular system, one of which is heart failure. The aim of this study was to determine the level of G protein and its relationship with left ventricular systolic function in children with acyanotic CHD. A cross-sectional study was conducted in Dr. Zaionel Abidin Hospital, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The patients aged 0 to 18 years and had acyanotic CHD diagnosis by echocardiography were included. Anthropometry measurement was performed according to standard WHO procedures and G protein level was measured using the ELISA method. The Chi-squared test was used to measure the relationship between G protein level and left ventricular systolic function. Out of a total of 38 children with acyanotic CHD, the mean level of G protein was 36.25 ng/mL and the mean of left ventricular systolic function was 73.1%. There was no relationship between G protein and left ventricular systolic function in children with acyanotic CHD. However, further study with a larger sample size and considering other variables are needed to confirm this finding.

Abstract

Information and technology center design as a place to communicate and interact with various SKPD/offices, information and technology development centers and shopping centers that aim to build social interaction between communities. The design of the information and technology center is carried out by applying the Smart Building approach. The Smart Building design concept is the utilization of natural energy and artificial energy. Energy efficiency in lighting and ventilation systems using the latest technological materials, which refer to structures, sensor systems and digitization. The design location is in Ampana City because it is the capital of the Tojo Una-una Regency, besides that it has an amazing and sustainable beach view. While the site is on Jl. Ahmad Yani, Dondo, Ampana Kota District, because it is very strategic according to the characteristics of this area. The shape of the Information and Technology Center in Tojo Una-Una Regency takes the Smart Building concept. Buildings that use smart building principles with a modern appearance are adapted to the building materials used and the responsibility of smart building materials to the local climate conditions.

Abstract

The research location was carried out in Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency using calculations so that this research was quantitative in nature. Based on the research results, normal domestic and non-domestic water needs in Ulanta Village, Bube Village and Bulodawa Village for the next few years (until 2020) are found to be 44.143 liters/second or 0.044 m3/second, while the maximum daily need for clean water is 0.086 m3/second, for peak hour demand in 2020 (5 year projection) it is found to be 0.131 m3/second. The availability of water in the Ulanta River in Suwawa District, calculated using the main discharge Q, is 1,917 m3/second. The relationship between water demand and water availability in the Ulanta river is still sufficient to meet normal water needs and the maximum water requirements required are 0.075 m3/sec < 1.917 m3/sec and 0.086 m3/sec < 1.917 m3/sec. Meanwhile, peak hour water demand is still sufficient with water availability, namely 0.131 m3/second < 1.917 m3/second. After carrying out this research, the researcher suggested that in future research to take more into account the stability of water flow which is a basic need for society, more specifically for the people of Suwawa District

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the demand and availability of water in Tulo'a village, North Bulango sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses secondary data in the form of daily rainfall for 5 years from 1 rain station. The method used for water availability uses the empirical equation from Ffolliot and for the projected water needs of the population, namely the Geometric, Arithmetic, Exponential Method. Based on the results of the analysis of the amount of water availability in 2030, it is 6,008,933.70 m3/year and the demand for clean water is 1,576,289.00m3/year so that it can be said that it is still in the water surplus category.

Abstract

Employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, of course, must have good competence in order to improve organizational performance. The study examines the effect of organizational climate and organizational commitment on job satisfaction, where the study aims to determine how much influence the organizational climate and organizational commitment have on employee job satisfaction at PT PLN Palopo City. This research uses a quantitative approach research method which is specifically causal associative in nature involving 41 PLN employees in Palopo City. The results obtained from this study that organizational climate and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT PLN Palopo City. The implications that employees get in making a decision so that employees feel cared for and can create emotional employee attachment to the company, and can also increase employee job satisfaction, because employees think they have a contribution to the company and will increase the organizational commitment of PT PLN Palopo City employees.

Abstract

Re-MAPPING of APAR at PT X Mojoagung in buildings 1 and 2 has been carried out. The re-MAPPING aims to evaluate the number and type of fire extinguishers in building 1, non-woven mask production room and building 2, infusion production room. This re-MPPING and evaluation is carried out in accordance with the regulations in PERMENAKERTRANS RI No. 04 of 1980 and NFPA 10 of 2013, to fulfill life safety guarantees in accordance with applicable K3 rules. The benefits of this research are that it can be an additional reference regarding the evaluation and consequences of fire extinguishers, providing fire prevention and control at Factory X Mojoagung as a preparedness in the event of a fire disaster and as input for implementing the correct placement of fire extinguishers and in accordance with the provisions at Factory X Mojoagung.The data obtained is then evaluated based on the rules used. The results of the data evaluation showed that the number of fire extinguishers in PT X Mojoagung in buildings 1 and 2 corresponded to a total of 30 fire extinguishers. The amount and type of contents in each fire extinguisher is in accordance with the level of hazard that occurs in each building.

Abstract

Bahaya pengaruh dalam penggunaan game online pada handphone dan gadget secara umum dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan anak-anak dan remaja, terutama dalam aspek sosial dan perilaku. Dampak dari bahaya gadget meliputi Anak menjadi pasif dan kurang bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. kedua Anak menjadi kurang disiplin dalam menjalankan kewajibannya. ketiga Anak menjadi egois, kurang simpati, dan kurang kerjasama. Selain itu, penggunaan gadget juga berdampak pada pola pikir, rasa, dan perilaku manusia. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk bahaya penggunaan gadget dan dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap perilaku anak.  Meskipun penggunaan gadget dapat berdampak pada orang dewasa, anak-anak juga tidak luput dari dampaknya. Namun, perlu diingat bahwa dampak ini bukanlah hasil yang pasti dan dapat bervariasi tergantung pada berbagai faktor, seperti durasi dan intensitas bermain game, jenis game yang dimainkan, dan dukungan serta pengawasan dari orang tua. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting bagi orang tua dan pendidik untuk memahami dampak potensial dari game online dan gadget, dan mengambil langkah-langkah untuk mengelola penggunaan anak oleh anak-anak. Ini dapat mencakup pembatasan waktu bermain, pemilihan game yang tepat, dan pengawasan orang tua. Diharapkan dengan adanya pengabdian ini, peserta pengabdian dapat lebih bijaksana dalam mengatur jadwal dalam bermain game dan penggunaan gadget. Selanjutnya hasil dari pengabdian ini dampak penggunaan gadget berdampak pada perilaku anak berkategori cukup dan diharapkan agar peserta pengabdian dapat mengatur jadwal dalam penggunaannya.

Abstract

This research was conducted on teachers at the Integrated Islamic School in Bireuen District using a quantitative method with an associative type and using path analysis. Based on the results of the study (1) with a structural model between locus of control, self-efficiency and spiritual intelligence on job satisfaction. Partially, locus of control has a significant effect on teacher job satisfaction, as well as the aspect of self-efficacy has an effect on teacher job satisfaction, and spiritual intelligence has a significant effect on teacher job satisfaction. (2) From the structural model between Locus of control, self-efficacy and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance. So partially Locus of control has a significant effect on teacher performance. In addition, self-efficacy has a significant effect on teacher performance, and spiritual intelligence has a significant effect on teacher performance. (3) Job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on teacher performance. Job satisfaction can mediate the effect of locus of control on teacher performance. Likewise, job satisfaction can mediate the effect of self-efficacy on teacher performance and job satisfaction can mediate the effect of spiritual intelligence on teacher performance. (4) Locus of control, self-efficacy and spiritual intelligence jointly affect teacher job satisfaction and locus of control, self-efficacy and spiritual intelligence jointly influence teacher performance in Integrated Islamic Schools in Bireuen District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh lama pengeringan terhadap uji tingkat kesukaan teh dari rambut jagung. Jagung (Zea mays L) merupakan salah satu serealia yang bernilai ekonomis serta mempunyai peluang untuk dikembangkan karena kedudukannya sebagai sumber utama karbohidrat. Tanaman jagung memiliki banyak manfaat dalam kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Namun, bagian yang banyak dimanfaatkan masyarakat hanya buah. Padahal hampir semua bagian dari tanaman jagung dapat dimanfaatkan. Salah satu bagian dari jagung yang sering diabaikan masyarakat adalah rambut jagung. Rambut jagung termasuk kedalam limbah pertanian hasil budidaya tanaman jagung yang dapat digunakan sebagai minuman teh herbal yang dapat dikonsumsi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 kali perlakuan dan 20 kali ulangan, analisis data menggunakan uji organoleptik dengan menggunakan skala hedonik, panelis dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli tataboga, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat. Rambut jagung dikeringkan secara alamidengan cahaya matahari pada 3 varian yaitu 60 menit, 120 menit, 180 menit dan pada perlakuan kontrol (P0) tidak dikeringkan pada cahaya matahari melainkan didiamkan dalam suhu ruangan. Penilaian warna paling tinggi yaitu pada lama pengeringan 120 Menit dengan kategori sangat suka (4) dengan nilai 45%, untuk penilaian rasa paling tinggi yaitu pada lama pengeringan 120 Menit dengan Kategori Suka (3) dengan nilai 90%, penilaian Aroma paling tinggi pada lama pengeringan 120 Menit dengan Kategori Suka (3) dengan nilai yaitu 45%. Dan untuk penilaian Tekstur yang paling tinggi pada lama pengeringan 120 dan 180 Menit dengan Kategori Suka (3) dan kategori Agak suka (2) dengan masing-masing nilai 50%.
