Abstract

Masih banyak guru yang belum mampu menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif pada siswa. Selain itu, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa belajar mandiri berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa Media Pembelajaran Interaktif pada mata pelajaran komputer dan jaringan dasar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan IDI (Instruksional Development Institute) yang terdiri atas tahapan define, develop, dan evaluate. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrument yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini berjumlah 37 orang. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis statistic kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian yaitu validitas media pembelajaran interaktif dinyatakan sangat valid pada aspek materi dengan total nilai validitas adalah 0.80, sedangkan pada aspek media valid dengan total nilai 0.86. Praktikalitas Media Pembelajaran Interaktif berdasarkan respon guru setelah melalui uji coba dinyatakan praktis dengan total nilai 91.78%, sedangkan berdasarkan respon siswa setelah melalui uji coba dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan total nilai 80.21%, Efektifitas Media Pembelajaran Interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dengan setelah menggunakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran interaktif dapat membantu siswa belajar secara mandiri.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing a Proxmox Virtual Environment–based virtual laboratory on students’ cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes in Computer and Network Engineering, addressing limited physical server availability at SMK Negeri 1 Batam. A quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed involving 59 students selected through purposive sampling. Cognitive outcomes were measured using a validated 40-item test (KR-20 reliability), while psychomotor skills were assessed using a performance rubric with inter-rater reliability (Cohen’s Kappa). Data were analyzed using Independent Sample t-test and N-Gain, preceded by normality and homogeneity tests. The experimental group showed significantly higher outcomes than the control group (p < 0.05). Cognitive N-Gain reached 82.68% (high), compared to 70.30% in the control group. Psychomotor N-Gain was 83.48%, exceeding the control group’s 76.97%, indicating more consistent technical performance. Proxmox-based virtual laboratories are effective in enhancing learning outcomes and provide a scalable solution for vocational education with limited infrastructure.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce valid Android- based e-module, practical and effective in the subject of Engineering Drawing. Android- based e-modules are designed to increase student understanding thereby improving student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Android-based e-modules. Results obtained from this development research that the validity of the Android- based e-module is declared valid in the media aspect and material aspect. The practicality of the Android- based e-module from teacher and student responses was stated to be very practical. The effectiveness of Android-based e-modules is stated to be effective in improving learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this research, it was concluded that the Android-based e-module was declared valid with an average value of 0.88. Practicality, it was declared very practical based on teacher responses with an average score of 96.0% and student responses with a score of 87.8%. The effectiveness with classical completeness of 90.91% was declared effective to be used as a learning aid in the Technical Drawing subject.

Abstract

Curriculum management quality is a fundamental determinant of educational effectiveness in vocational high schools (SMK). This study assesses curriculum management quality across four dimensions: curriculum planning (D1), curriculum organizing (D2), curriculum implementation (D3), and curriculum evaluation (D4), from the perspectives of school administrators and teachers. A quantitative survey design was employed involving 145 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling across five SMK in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire (44 items; Cronbach's alpha = 0.91) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. Results indicate that overall curriculum management quality achieved a mean score of 3.69 out of 5.00 (Good category). Curriculum Planning (D1) achieved the highest mean (M = 3.82), while Curriculum Evaluation (D4) was the most critical dimension (M = 3.58). Significant differences in perceptions were found across respondent positions (F = 4.83, p = 0.003). This study contributes an integrated four-dimension quantitative framework for assessing curriculum management quality in SMK, providing empirical evidence that evaluation functions represent the weakest link in the curriculum management cycle and that multi-stakeholder data collection is essential for accurate institutional quality monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Field Work Practice (PKL) experience on the formation of self-confidence and work readiness of vocational high school students through a quantitative approach with a survey method using a Likert scale instrument, and the results of statistical analysis show that PKL has a significant influence, especially through aspects of knowledge and skills acquired during industrial practice, while the self-confidence of grade XII students who have carried out industrial work practice (PKL) does not provide a significant contribution, so this study confirms that the effectiveness of PKL as a character builder and work readiness is highly dependent on the quality of the industrial environment, consistent guidance, and the suitability of the program to the needs of the ever-evolving world of work.

Abstract

Pendidikan vokasional memiliki peran strategis dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Di Indonesia, pengembangan pendidikan vokasional masih banyak merujuk pada teori Charles Prosser (1925) yang dikenal dengan enam belas prinsip pendidikan vokasional. Namun, dinamika dunia kerja modern menuntut adanya peninjauan kembali terhadap relevansi filosofi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara kritis filosofi pendidikan vokasional menurut teori Prosser serta relevansinya dalam konteks pendidikan vokasional berbasis dunia kerja di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur dengan analisis tematik terhadap buku, artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tidak seluruh prinsip Prosser dapat diterapkan secara utuh dalam sistem pendidikan vokasional Indonesia. Beberapa prinsip masih relevan, terutama yang menekankan kesesuaian kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman kerja, sementara prinsip lainnya memerlukan penyesuaian dengan tuntutan fleksibilitas, pembelajaran sepanjang hayat, dan perkembangan teknologi. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya integrasi filosofi Prosser dengan pendekatan pragmatis modern agar pendidikan vokasional mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang adaptif dan berdaya saing.
