Abstract

Competency tests were conducted to obtain information about mastery of teaching materials (substances) and learning methods for each teacher. This research was conducted with one dependent variable, namely teacher teaching performance (Y), and two independent variables, namely discipline (X1) and motivation (X2). This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The temporary design research used is survey design research. The research instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale as an assessment of the score for each question, with a score range of 1–5. The study population was all schools in Lebak Regency, totaling 775 schools. The research sample used a stratified random sampling technique. The results of this Discipline study have an influence and are significant on the performance of teaching teachers, including the high category. Motivation has a significant effect on teacher teaching performance in the high category. It can be concluded that discipline and motivation have high cross-category scores in achieving teacher-teaching performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kekhawatiran peneliti dalam penyajian cerita anak dengan narasi yang bisa mengajarkan anak untuk berbohong, menang dengan cara licik, menginginkan sesuatu tanpa bekerja keras, berusaha dan berdo’a. Agar tidak menjadi karakter anak yang kurang baik dimasa dewasa kelak. Guru dan orang tua perlu selektif dalam memilih cerita dalam menanamkan nilai karakter pada anak sejak dini. Dari permasalahan ini menjadi perhatian peneliti untuk menganalisis sebuah cerita anak berjudul “Sepatu Baru Hana” dalam upaya menanamkan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila sebagai pondasi karakter anak dalam mengimplementasiakan kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila yang terdapat dalam cerita “Sepatu Baru Hana”. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan memakai metode pendekatan kualitatif.  Analisis dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil cerita dari kalimat per kalimat dalam buku cerita bergambar “Sepatu Baru Hana” untuk memperoleh informasi nilai karakter projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila. Dalam analisis data yang terakhir dicoba adalah mentransipkan data yang berupa cerita menjadi tulisan, menginventariskan, mengklasifikasikan nilai-nilai karakter projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila pada buku cerita bergambar “Sepatu Baru Hana” dan yang terakhir menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian memperoleh deskripsi tentang nilai-nilai projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila yaitu beriman dan bertakwa pada Tuhan Yang Esa dan berakhlak mulia, kreatif, gotong royong, berkebhinekaan global, bernalar kritis, dan mandiri. Para pendidik sangat disarankan untuk menyampaikan cerita ini sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran dalam upaya menanamkan nilai karakter projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila.

Abstract

Independence is an essential aspect that needs to be instilled in children. Independence becomes a desired goal for every parent, especially as their children enter the school phase. Therefore, parents should provide opportunities for their children to grow and develop, enabling them to cultivate independence effectively. This research aims to investigate the role of parents in shaping children's independence. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with the subjects consisting of five children attending RA Siti Khodijah Majalengka. The research was conducted in February 2023. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The research findings highlight the crucial role of parents in fostering children's independence. Parents must provide opportunities and room for their children to continuously learn about independence, while also consistently motivating and reminding students to be self-reliant, avoid dependency on others, and be capable of self-direction in the future. Throughout the process of cultivating independence, parental consistency and patience are vital, encompassing every phase and aspect of developing independence in children aged 5-6 years at RA Siti Khodijah Majalengka. The implementation of stimulation through habitual practices in shaping the independence of 5-6-year-old children at RA Siti Khodijah Majalengka is carried out through several school programs or activities, and this can be extended to the home environment or wherever the child is situated, specifically through life skills. Notably, activities conducted at school have a significant impact on fostering independence in children. Children are consistently provided with motivation, stimuli, and positive habits, repeated on a regular basis within the school setting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada realitas implementasi pembelajaran seni musik di dua sekolah menengah di Bandung, yaitu SMA Labschool UPI Bandung (sekolah swasta) dan SMAN 19 Bandung (sekolah negeri). Kedua sekolah ini mewakili model kurikulum yang berbeda, yaitu Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode utama yaitu wawancara dan teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlu adanya peningkatan layanan pembelajaran yang optimal dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni musik di kedua sekolah yang diteliti. Faktor-faktor tersebut seperti keterbatasan jumlah guru, fasilitas, sarana, prasarana, dan media pembelajaran. Kelengkapan layanan pembelajaran optimal terbukti dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran seni musik. Oleh karena itu, apapun jenis kurikulum yang diterapkan, penyediaan sumber daya dan dukungan merupakan elemen kunci dalam membentuk siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran seni musik

Abstract

The performance of a teacher includes his ability to carry out teaching tasks in schools and responsibilities towards students who are under his influence. There are several factors that influence teacher performance including those determined by work motivation and discipline factors. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of work motivation and discipline on the performance of Lebak District Elementary School teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive verification. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires which were distributed to 100 teachers and then analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially work motivation contributed 67.1% to teacher performance and discipline contributed 59.8% to teacher performance variables. While simultaneously, work motivation and discipline contribute 74.2% to teacher performance. So it can be concluded that, 1) work motivation encourages improving the performance of Lebak Regency SDN teachers; 2) Discipline encourages improving the work performance of Lebak Regency SDN teachers; 3) Work motivation and discipline simultaneously affect the performance of Lebak Regency SDN teachers.

Abstract

AbstractTeachers need time and careful preparation in dealing with curriculum changes. The purpose of this study is to identify the challenges and barriers faced by teachers, especially early childhood teachers, in dealing with curriculum changes. This study used a systematic literature review method by reviewing various articles published in the last 10 years (2013-2023). To formulate the research objectives, the collected literature was analyzed. The selection process began with a search through google scholar which resulted in 60 literatures, then the selection was focused based on the number of sinta 2-5 and the result was 15 articles that were considered relevant. The results of this study are in accordance with the author's assumption at the beginning, which states that teachers have the ability to adapt to curriculum changes. However, the findings show that this adaptation requires time and readiness along with various factors that can affect it both internally and externally. This research makes an important contribution to the government in formulating new curriculum policies, taking into account the field realities as perceived by early childhood teachers. This research contributes to highlighting the role of teachers as curriculum developers, who function as facilitators in guiding children's learning towards achieving PAUD goals.Keywords: Early childhood teachers; change; curriculumAbstrakGuru membutuhkan waktu dan kesiapan yang matang dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru, khususnya guru PAUD dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan mengkaji berbagai artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam 10 tahun terakhir (2013-2023). Untuk merumuskan tujuan penelitian dilakukan analisis terhadap literatur yang telah dikumpulkan. Proses seleksi dimulai dengan pencarian melalui google scholar yang menghasilkan 60 literatur, kemudian pemilihan difokuskan berdasarkan jumlah sinta 2-5 dan hasilnya adalah 15 artikel yang dianggap relevan. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai dengan asumsi pendapat penulis diawal, yang menyatakan bahwa guru memiliki kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan kurikulum. Namun, temuan menunjukan bahwa adaptasi ini membutuhkan waktu dan kesiapan seiring dengan berbagai faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya baik dari segi internal maupun eksternal. Penelitian ini bekontribusi pada pemerintah dalam mengeluarkan kebijakan baru khususnya kebijakan kurikulum untuk mempertimbangkan bagaimana keadaan sebenarnya di lapangan yang dirasakan oleh guru-guru PAUD. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang penting bagi pemerintah dalam merumuskan kebijakan kurikulum baru, dengan memperhatikan realitas lapangan yang dipersepsikan oleh para guru PAUD. Penelitian ini turut berkontribusi dalam menyoroti peran guru sebagai pengembang kurikulum, yang berfungsi sebagai fasilitator dalam memandu anak-anak belajar menuju pencapaian tujuan PAUD.Kata kunci: Guru PAUD; perubahan; kurikulum

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan standar sistem pendidikan secara keseluruhan, seorang kepala sekolah harus mampu meningkatkan kinerja anggota stafnya. Ada beberapa hal yang dapat berdampak pada kinerja seseorang, dan administrator sekolah harus mampu memberikan pengaruh yang memotivasi guru untuk melaksanakan tanggung jawab mereka secara efisien dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru secara keseluruhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dasar terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sekolah dasar serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas sekolah secara keseluruhan di kabupaten Lebak-Banten. Sebuah metodologi kuantitatif digunakan selama penyelidikan ini. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru SD Negeri di Kabupaten Lebak. Besar sampel ditentukan dengan bantuan rumus Slovin, dan ditentukan 100 guru yang akan diperoleh dari total 775 guru SD negeri di Kabupaten Lebak. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengevaluasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan efektivitas guru. Analisis regresi dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS, dilakukan terhadap data yang digunakan. Telah ditentukan melalui proses pengujian hipotesis penelitian 1 bahwa H0 benar dan H1 salah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tidak berdampak langsung terhadap efektivitas mengajar guru. Menurut hasil penelitian pengujian hipotesis 2, H0 harus diabaikan dan H1 harus diterima. Akibatnya, dapat dikatakan bahwa kinerja guru di kelas secara langsung dipengaruhi oleh motivasi.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the higher-level thinking skills that students in this 21st century era. Creative thinking skills include the ability to generate many ideas (fluency), the ability to generate diverse ideas (flexibly), the ability to develop ideas (elaboration), and the ability to produce unusual ideas (original). This research conducted because of the findings of low creative thinking skills in students in Civics learning. The problem found when the researcher observed 4th grade students. The observation results show that students are not used to getting new ideas, expressing new ideas, or developing new ideas during learning. The aim of this research was to determine and get an overview of the improvement of creative thinking skills by applying the project citizen learning model. This study used a classroom action research design (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggard model of two cycles for grade IV students. Research instruments include field notes, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the project citizen learning model can improve the creative thinking skills of fourth grade students in Civics learning.

Abstract

21st Century Learning requires teachers to learn that is adaptive to the challenges and needs of the times. TPACK is one type of knowledge that must be mastered by teachers in the 21st century. This study aims to analyze the components of TPACK for elementary school teachers. His research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample used in this study were elementary school teachers who had participated in the Teacher Professional Education Program. This instrument was developed from previous research which has high validity and reliability. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis test. The results show the average value of the Technology Knowledge component is 3,15, Pedagogical Knowledge is 3,25, Content Knowledge is 3,20, Technological Content Knowledge is 3,35, Pedagogical Content Knowledge is 3,40, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge is 3,41 and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge is 3,50. All components are in a good category. TPCK has the lowest average value among other components. The teacher's ability to integrate all components is easy. There needs to be a balance between the knowledge aspects of technology, pedagogy, and content.
