Abstract

One aspect of process science skills that learners need to have is the ability to interpret. The ability to interpret graphs in students is currently considered difficult and still belongs to the very low category. This study aims to analyze the relationship between mathematical understanding and the learning styles of students in terms of their ability to interpret graphs. This type of research is descriptive-quantitative. The research sample consisted of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Takengon, which amounted to 67 students. The research data was collected using learning style-type questionnaires, multiple-choice questions on linear program material, and reaction rate material. The ability to interpret the graphs of students at SMA Negeri 4 Takengon is on the "medium" criterion, while the students' mathematical understanding is on the "very high" criterion. Students with visual learning style types are more dominant and have an average score of mathematical understanding and the ability to interpret graphs higher than students with auditorial and kinesthetic learning styles. The result of the correlation coefficient r = 0.912 shows a significant positive relationship between mathematical understanding and the ability to interpret graphs with a "high" and unidirectional interpretation

Abstract

Treatment of dissolved mercury within water sources is crucial. This study reported the utilization and efficacy of chitosan-sulfide immobilized on dead corals (Acropora cervicornis) as an absorbent for dissolved mercury (II). Sulfide ions were immobilized on coral particles coated with chitosan (coral-Chi). Chitosan and sulfide were either mixed or stepwise immobilized on dead coral particles. The amount of mercury absorbed by this treated absorbent (coral-Chi-Na2S) was studied and compared to the control (coral only or coral-Chi). The adsorption process is a bath method within a chromatography column. The absorbent characteristics and the amount of mercury(II) absorbed were characterized. The results showed that the highest percentage of adsorption used adsorben coral-Chi-Na2S, which was 71% with an eluent flow of 0.5 mls-1 within the absorbent column. The capacity of adsorption ion Hg2+ after prior eluting in the column for 24 h contact time was 0.4057 mg/g, 0.4017 mg/g, and 0.3746 mg/g in coral-Chi-Na2S, coral, and coral-Chi respectively

Abstract

لاشك أنّ الكتاب المدرسي أمر مهم في التعليم. لم يوجد أي كتاب خاص لمهارة القراءة في جامعة الياسيني الإسلامية. لذا، استهدف الباحثون لصياغ أهداف هذا البحث هي:  (1) لإعداد الكتاب المدرسي لمهارة القراءة الأولى (2) لقياس فعالية إعداد الكتاب المدرسي لمهارة القراءة الأولى. مدخل هذا البحث هو البحث والتطوير. استخدم الباحثون نموذج تطوير ADDIE. المجتمع في هذا البحث جميع الطلبة بقسم تعليم اللغة العربية في المستوى الثاني وعددهم 36 طالبًا واختار الباحثون 20 طلبة كالعينة بطريقة أخذ العينة القصدية واستخدام الاختبار والوثائق لجمع البيانات. في تحليل البيانات استخدم الباحثون برنامح الإحصاء باختبار التاء للعينات المقترنة. أما نتائج البحث هي (1) الخطوات لإعداد الكتاب المدرسي لمهارة القراءة الأولى لدى الطلبة بقسم تعليم اللغة العربية وهي تحليل الاحتياجات والمشكلات في تعليم مهارة القراءة، ثم تصميم الإنتاج، وتطويره، وتجربته، وتقويمه باستخدام الاختبار القبلي والبعدي. Abstract

The study aims to determine how the relationship between entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial experience, and entrepreneurial motivation can influence the management of urban farming businesses, especially in the Citra Women Farmers Group located at BTN Citra Tello Permai, Tello Baru Village, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The sample used in the study was 120 members of the Citra women farmers group. Data analysis used was path analysis using several software for data processing such as Microsoft Excel 2010, SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20.0, and Partial Least Squares (PLS) techniques using SmartPls (version 4.0). The results of the study indicate that in this study: (1) the entrepreneurship education variable has a positive and significant effect on the management of urban farming businesses, especially in the Citra Women Farmers Group; (2) the entrepreneurial experience variable has a positive and significant effect on the management of urban farming businesses, especially in the Citra Women Farmers Group; (3) the entrepreneurial motivation variable has a positive and significant influence on the management of urban farming businesses, especially in KWT Citra; (4) entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial experience, and entrepreneurial motivation have an influence on the management of urban farming businesses in KWT Citra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the digital entrepreneurship education ecosystem through digital entrepreneurship literacy on the entrepreneurial readiness of Generation Z. In the digital era, Generation Z has great potential for entrepreneurship, but often the lack of understanding regarding the basics of entrepreneurship and digital technology hinders their readiness to start a business. This study adopted a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which was distributed to 420 Generation Z students in Makassar City who had participated in digital entrepreneurship education. Data analysis used was path analysis using several software for data processing such as Microsoft Excel 2010, SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20.0, and Partial Least Squares (PLS) techniques using SmartPls (version 4.0). The results of the study indicate that digital entrepreneurship learning and digital industry collaboration significantly influence digital entrepreneurship literacy and entrepreneurial readiness. In contrast, digital entrepreneurship training and digital business incubators did not significantly influence these two variables. This study suggests the need to improve the quality of digital entrepreneurship learning and collaboration with industry to strengthen the entrepreneurial readiness of Generation Z. Furthermore, digital business training and incubators should be optimized by aligning the materials with the latest technological needs.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of value education in the era of globalization, as well as the approaches and strategies that can be applied in learning processes to shape students’ character. Globalization brings positive impacts such as easier access to information and improved skills, but it also presents challenges including moral degradation, weakened cultural identity, and increasing individualism. Therefore, value education must be positioned as an integral part of the learning process. This research employs a library research method by analyzing literature related to value education, learning approaches, and character-building strategies. The findings indicate that value education can be internalized through approaches such as role modeling, habituation, value dialogue, value clarification, and curriculum integration. This study identifies that the combination of role modeling and habituation represents the most effective strategy within the context of formal education in Indonesia. In addition, active learning, collaborative learning, and project-based learning provide opportunities for students to understand and practice values through real-life experiences. This research offers a conceptual contribution to the development of value-education practices based on curriculum integration and active learning in schools.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas urgensi pendidikan nilai di era globalisasi serta pendekatan dan strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik. Globalisasi membawa dampak positif berupa kemudahan akses informasi dan peningkatan keterampilan, namun juga menimbulkan tantangan seperti degradasi moral, melemahnya identitas budaya, dan meningkatnya individualisme. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan nilai perlu ditempatkan sebagai bagian integral dari pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis literatur terkait pendidikan nilai, pendekatan pembelajaran, dan strategi implementasi karakter. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan nilai dapat di internalisasi melalui pendekatan keteladanan, pembiasaan, dialog nilai, klarifikasi nilai, serta integrasi nilai dalam kurikulum. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa kombinasi pendekatan keteladanan dan pembiasaan merupakan strategi yang paling efektif dalam konteks pendidikan formal di Indonesia. Selain itu, strategi pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis proyek memberikan ruang bagi peserta didik untuk memahami dan mempraktikkan nilai dalam pengalaman nyata. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual dalam pengembangan praktik pendidikan nilai berbasis integrasi kurikulum dan pembelajaran aktif di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode storytelling dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SD Swasta Melyaz Percut Sei Tuan, serta mengkaji faktor pendukung, hambatan, dampak, dan kelebihan maupun kelemahannya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta dokumentasi berupa foto kegiatan pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode storytelling dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pemilihan cerita Islami yang sesuai, penyampaian materi menggunakan media digital, serta kegiatan refleksi nilai moral. Penerapan metode ini berjalan efektif berkat dukungan antusiasme siswa, ketersediaan fasilitas sekolah, serta kreativitas guru dalam menyampaikan cerita. Adapun hambatan yang muncul mencakup keterbatasan waktu, minimnya media pendukung, serta perbedaan kemampuan guru dalam bercerita. Metode storytelling terbukti memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan akhlak peserta didik, meningkatkan pemahaman moral, perhatian, motivasi, serta keterlibatan emosional dan sosial mereka.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kewirausahaan berbasis ekonomi kreatif pada guru dan siswa di Pulau Pinang. Metode kegiatan PKM ini dimulai dengan tahap persiapan, meliputi koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, pengumpulan data awal terkait potensi dan kebutuhan guru serta siswa, serta penyusunan modul dan materi pelatihan yang relevan. Tahap identifikasi permasalahan dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi kewirausahaan, potensi kreativitas siswa, kendala dalam pembelajaran, serta kurangnya kemitraan dengan pelaku industri kreatif lokal. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup pelatihan literasi kewirausahaan bagi guru dan siswa, workshop praktik pengembangan produk kreatif, serta pendampingan dalam branding, packaging, dan pemasaran digital. Guru dibimbing untuk mengintegrasikan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, sedangkan siswa diajak menghasilkan produk kreatif yang memiliki nilai jual dan berpotensi dipasarkan. Kegiatan ini juga difokuskan pada penguatan jejaring dengan pelaku industri kreatif lokal untuk memberikan pengalaman praktik nyata dan membuka peluang kolaborasi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi keterampilan siswa, penilaian kualitas produk, serta refleksi guru terhadap metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru dan keterampilan siswa dalam ekonomi kreatif, serta kemampuan siswa menghasilkan produk kreatif bernilai jual. Tahap lanjutan yang direncanakan mencakup pendampingan berkelanjutan, pengembangan unit usaha kreatif di sekolah, optimalisasi pemasaran digital, serta monitoring dan evaluasi rutin untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan dampak positif PKM bagi pengembangan kreativitas dan jiwa kewirausahaan peserta didik.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) was carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Community Organization (PERMAI) Penang, Malaysia, and involved 30 participants aged 7-17 years consisting of Indonesian diaspora students and youth. The aim of this activity is to improve economic literacy and entrepreneurial skills through a participatory approach that combines theory and hands-on practice. The material provided includes personal financial management, financial planning, and the preparation of simple business ideas based on self-potential. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with an average post-test score of 86% compared to the pre-test. In addition to increasing knowledge and skills, this activity also strengthens the character of the participants, especially in terms of independence, entrepreneurial ethics, and social responsibility. Thus, this PKM proves that the integration of economic literacy and entrepreneurship training is effective in empowering diaspora youth to face economic challenges and create business opportunities independently.

Abstract

Background: This study develops a conceptual model that integrates maritime cultural revitalization and indigenous ethics with digital transformation and sustainable economic strategies to address the socio-ecological threats faced by the Patorani fishing community. By bridging traditional values and modern innovations, this study provides a strategic framework for coastal resilience that is aligned with Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045 vision. Methods: This article employs a structured, integrative literature review that synthesizes existing scholarship on maritime heritage, community ethics, digital innovation, blue economy frameworks, and coastal sustainability. Relevant theoretical perspectives were identified and analyzed to establish linkages between cultural systems, technological adaptation, and socioeconomic development. Unlike empirical studies, this conceptual work aims to consolidate theoretical components, identify gaps in current literature, and propose an interdisciplinary framework for coastal resilience. Findings: The review reveals that maritime traditions are experiencing significant erosion due to environmental pressures such as declining fish stocks, pollution, and coastal degradation, as well as socio-cultural challenges including shifting generational preferences and the commodification of cultural symbols. Despite these pressures, the indigenous ethical framework of Siri’ na Pacce remains a strong yet underutilized form of moral capital that can guide ethical innovation, social cohesion, and community-based governance. Digital technologies such as e-commerce, digital storytelling, virtual cultural festivals, and online knowledge platforms offer new opportunities to strengthen youth engagement, expand economic access, and revitalize cultural identity. The integration of technologically driven practices with cultural ethics and blue economy principles shows strong potential to enhance livelihood sustainability and ecosystem stewardship. Conclusion: The study concludes that sustainable coastal development must be culturally grounded, technologically adaptive, and environmentally responsible to remain relevant in the contemporary era. Novelty/Originality of this article: The primary novelty of this research lies in its formulation of the Patorani 5.0 model, which for the first time unites cultural revitalization, ethical values, digital transformation, and blue economy strategies into an integrated conceptual framework, addressing scholarly gaps that previously treated these domains in isolation.
