Abstract

Education is an action to improve the life of the nation. There is a relationship between the idea of ​​improving the life of the nation and its implementation, which can be achieved through various means, such as curriculum development, teacher preparation through pre-service education, teacher education and training on the job, the teacher development system in the workplace, the training process, especially in choosing learning strategies and implementing educational assessments. Several factors influence the success of learning to use strategies in education. Teachers' work is not the only source of learning. Teachers' ability to choose learning strategies to increase the achievement of learning goals, which refer to student achievement in class, is part of their job. Various strategies are designed and evaluated to improve student learning. This research aims to (1) Create learning media; and (2) explain how animated videos function to increase learning motivation and character of group B students at Kemala Bhayangkari 04 Kindergarten, Bogor City. The research method used refers to the ten steps developed by Borg & Gall, which consist of a preliminary study; planning; initial product development; initial trials; initial product revisions; field trials; revision of field trial results; operational trials; and revision of the final product. The products that have been developed are tested using quasi-experimental methods. Using the t test, it is known that animated videos increase students' motivation to learn and their character. Effectiveness can be seen from the average value of learning motivation and the character of students in group A and group B which are very different before and after using animated video media in learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi dan kondisi, menganalisis proses pengembangan, menganalisis karakteristik, menganalisis kemenarikan, dan mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis canva. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan R & D dengan model penelitian Borg and Gall, dengan sample penelitian berjumlah 110 siswa kelas X AKL SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian diketahui 1) potensi dan kondisi sangat diperlukan mengingat permasalahan yang timbul dari menurunnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas X karena kurangnya inovasi media pembelajaran. 2) proses pengembangan melibatkan uji ahli materi, media, bahasa, uji skala kecil, uji skala besar sebesar 93,35% dengan tingkat validasi sangat menarik 3) karakteristik media pembelajaran iteraktif berbasis canva terdiri dari audio, vidio, animasi, petunjuk penggunaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta evaluasi pembelajaran 4) kemenarikan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis canva sebesar 91,5% sangat menarik 5) Efektifitas pengembangan diketahui terdapat perbedaan antara kelas X AKL 2 dan X AKL 3 dengan persentase rata –ratakelas X AKL 2 sebesar 60,31% cukup efektif dan kelas X AKL 3 rata-rata 64,5% dengan tingkat efektivitas sedang.

Abstract

The use of technology-based e-counselling systems has been shown to have a significant impact on improving students' psychological well-being, especially in overcoming problems of academic stress, emotional anxiety, and depression. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an e-counselling system in supporting students' mental health management using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. With a two-group experimental design involving 50 seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar, the experimental group was given access to the e-counselling system, while the control group followed conventional counselling services. The results showed that the use of the e-counselling system resulted in a significant decrease in students' psychological symptoms, with the average anxiety score dropping from 6.5 to 2.9, and depression from 5.6 to 2.1. In contrast, the control group showed smaller changes. An independent t-test (t = 57.11; p < 0.05) confirmed that e-counselling was more effective in reducing anxiety and depression, and improving students' emotion regulation skills. In addition, the e-counselling system was shown to provide more flexible, responsive, and safe access to counselling services, with 80% of students feeling more comfortable in disclosing their personal problems through this platform. These findings suggest that technology integration in counselling services can be an innovative solution in improving students' psychological well-being and supporting the creation of an emotionally healthy learning environment.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuai adanya pengaruh penggunaan media pemebalajaran diorama dalam pemebalajran IPAS tehadap hasil belajar siswa kelas II SD Negri 4 Karang Anyar Lampung Selatan. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan desain one grup pretest-postest design.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan test dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian penegaruh media pemebalajaran diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas II SD Negri 4 Karang Anyar Lampung Selatan menunjukan nilai signifikasi 0.000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan media diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas II SD Negri 4 Karang Anyar Lampung Selatan.

Abstract

Transformation of Traditional Learning Models in Elementary Schools in Lampung Province: An Adaptation Approach. Objective: This study aims to explore the transformation of traditional learning models in elementary schools in Lampung Province in response to the emerging challenges and opportunities of the digital era. The main focus is to examine how the adaptation of instructional approaches, particularly in methods, media, and teacher roles, can improve the quality of basic education through the integration of information and communication technology (ICT). This transformation is viewed as essential in meeting the educational demands of the 21st century. Methods: This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The study participants include teachers, principals, and students from several elementary schools in Lampung Province that have initiated the implementation of digital learning models. Thematic analysis was employed to identify patterns of adaptation, challenges in implementation, and strategies developed to address these changes. Findings: The study reveals that learning transformation involves not only the use of technology but also significant shifts in the teacher's role as a facilitator, more participatory teaching strategies, and dynamic patterns of interaction. Key challenges include limited ICT infrastructure, human resource readiness, and resistance to school culture change. However, there are significant opportunities through teacher training, digital curriculum development, and supportive education policies. The two most important findings are: first, teachers successfully modified traditional teaching into project-based and collaborative learning supported by ICT; second, students showed increased engagement and learning motivation in interactive digital environments. Conclusion: The transformation of learning models in elementary schools is a complex process that requires fundamental changes in how knowledge is constructed, shared, and applied. Collaborative strategies among educational stakeholders, sufficient technological support, and capacity-building for teachers are essential to establishing an adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable learning ecosystem. This study makes a conceptual contribution by demonstrating that teacher agency in resource-constrained settings can bridge the gap between global constructivist pedagogical ideals and local sociocultural realities, resulting in a unique and contextually grounded hybrid learning model. Keywords: learning transformation, digital era, educational technology, education quality, teacher roles.

Abstract

This research aims to provide empirical evidence on the effectiveness of Open Educational Resources (OER) in facilitating transformative learning experiences that enhance students' creative thinking skills. A quantitative approach was employed for the study, wherein two groups, experimental and control, underwent pre-tests and post-tests to measure variables such as fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and evaluation of their creative thinking abilities. The study revealed significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores for both groups, particularly in the indicators of flexibility and evaluation. However, diverse outcomes were observed when examining n-gain scores across all indicators of creative thinking skills, suggesting that the effectiveness of OER in facilitating transformative learning varies depending on the specific creative thinking indicators measured. The research emphasizes that while OER can facilitate transformative learning processes, it may not yield uniform results across all dimensions of creative thinking. The obtained results indicate no significant difference in flexibility. Contradictory conditions can be observed in fluency, elaboration, and evaluation indicators, showing significant differences. Therefore, educators should adopt varied approaches when integrating OER into their curricula to maximize the potential benefits of enhancing students' creative thinking skills. For future research, it is highly recommended to focus on the effectiveness of OER based on the type of content or subject matter taught to identify the most effective sources. Further research is also needed to compare the effectiveness of OER with other teaching methods.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an Android-based Computer-Based Testing (CBT) system as a preventive strategy against academic dishonesty in the learning evaluation process. The background of this study stems from the high incidence of cheating during conventional digital exams, which have yet to effectively address the exploitation of technological loopholes by students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a modified Borg & Gall development model through stages including needs analysis, product design, expert validation, limited trials, revisions, and field testing. The developed system features several security measures such as randomized questions and answers, screen locking (kiosk mode), restriction of access to other applications, and monitoring of activities during the exam. Evaluations by subject matter and media experts yielded an average feasibility score of 89%, indicating that the application is highly suitable for use. Meanwhile, trials conducted with high school students showed that the application effectively reduced opportunities for academic dishonesty and received positive user feedback. Therefore, this Android-based CBT system holds strong potential as a technological innovation for conducting fair, efficient, and credible educational evaluations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) pengaruh pendekatan STEM berbasis media powtoon, (2) pengaruh pendekatan STEM berbasis media powerpoint, (3) perbedaan antara pengaruh pendekatan STEM berbasis media powtoon dan powerpoint terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental design. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur dengan jumlah 57 orang peserta didik. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh penerapan pendekatan STEM berbantuan media powtoon dengan nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan pendekatan STEM berbasis media powerpoint dengan nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, (3) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pendekatan STEM berbasis media powtoon dengan pendekatan STEM berbasis media powerpoint terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS Kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur dengan nilai signifikansi 0,038 < 0,05. Penerapan pendekatan STEM berbasis media powerpointlebih unggul dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dibandingkan media powtoon.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of watching Upin & Ipin animated films and the moral values of children aged 5-6 years in Pesisir Selatan District, West Pesisir Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with the expos facto method and associative design. The research sample consisted of 75 children who were determined using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires given to parents to obtain variable x data and through direct observation of children to obtain variable y data. The collected data were then analyzed using the product moment correlation test formula after prerequisite tests such as normality test and linearity test. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a significance value between the intensity of watching Upin & Ipin animated films with children's moral values of 0.000 with an Alpha error rate of 0.05, so that it is stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The higher the intensity of children watching Upin & Ipin animated films, the higher the chance of moral values in children aged 5-6 years in the South coastal district of the West coast district.

Abstract

Learning applied to elementary school-age children is very crucial, because the methods and processes of teaching teachers seem to force students to be able to achieve predetermined competencies. This research uses the (SLR) method. regarding research methods: "Literature" which means it is a critical analysis of the research that is being carried out on a special topic or in the form of a question to a part of science. helps us in compiling a framework that is in accordance with the theory, findings, and results of previous research in solving the problem exposure in the research conducted. The implementation of digital-based learning media on thematic material on scientific abilities can be used optimally, especially for elementary school level students, using digital-based media can certainly stimulate the cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of students, especially in accordance with the characteristics of 21st century learning where modern learning utilizes the sophistication of information and communication technology, the role of the teacher as a facilitator is very important in creating interesting and fun learning
