Abstract

Beton merupakan campuran dari agregat kasar, agregat halus, semen sebagai pengikat zat tambah dan air. Agregat kasar yang dipakai dalam campuran beton bisa berupa batu kerikil alam atau kerikil buatan. pengunaan agregat kasar pada pembuatan campuran beton adalah hal yang harus dilakukan. Bagaimana bila agregat kasar yang digunakan dalam mebuat beton merupakan limbah pembakaran cangkang sawit. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penulis membuat penelitian membuat beton dengan menggunakan limbah cangkang sawi sebagai sbstitusi agregat kasar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui porsentasi optimal penggunaan limbah cangkang sawit pada pembuatan beton, serta mengetahui berapa kuat tekan beton yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian kali ini adalah eksperimental, pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan di laboratorium struktur Unsyiah. Limbah cangkang sawit yang digunakan merupakan cangkang sawit sisa pembakaran pabrik, yang kemudian di hancurkan menjadi agregat kasar dan disubstitusikan terhadap agregat kasar dengan persentase sebesar 10%. 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50%. Setelah dilakukan perawaan, benda uji diambil untuk di uji kuat tekannya. Uji kuat tekan benda uju dilakukan pada umur benda uji sebesar 7, 28 dan 56 hari. Hasil pengujian didapatkan, substitusi limbah cangkang sawit pada pembuata campuran beton menambah kuat tekannya. Kuat tekan maksimal adalah sebesar 70,25 MPa pada persentase 40% dan umur 56 hari. Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of academic ethics in building a civilized and ethical academic culture in the campus environment. The method used was quantitative descriptive research with a sample of 30 students at the State Islamic University of Sumatra. Data was collected through a questionnaire that covers various aspects regarding perceptions, understanding and experiences related to academic ethics. The research results show that the majority of respondents, especially women and those from the 19 year age group, consider academic ethics to be very important in the learning process in the classroom. However, there are still challenges in the form of unethical behavior such as plagiarism and lack of student awareness. The campus environment is positively supported in efforts to build a civilized and ethical academic culture, although improvements are still needed in the implementation of related policies and education. In conclusion, this research provides a comprehensive picture of the condition of academic ethics in the campus environment, as well as highlighting several obstacles and areas of improvement that need to be considered in strengthening a civilized and ethical academic culture in the future.

Abstract

A heat exchanger is a device that is used to change the temperature or fluid phase by absorbing or releasing heat between the hot fluid and the cold fluid. One type of heat exchanger that is most widely used in industry is shell and tube. Optimal heat exchanger performance has an important role to support production stability in various industries. The performance of shell and tube heat exchangers is affected by fouling factors which are the formation of deposits on the surface of the heat exchanger which can inhibit heat transfer and increase the resistance to fluid flow in the heat exchanger. After analysis, it is known that the mass flow rate of the flue gas is 0.06523 kg/s, the effectiveness of the heat exchanger is 66.837%, the overall gross area is 3.317350717 m2, and the effective heat transfer area is 2.211567145 m2.

Abstract

The use of the right of inquiry by The House of Representatives (DPR) in the process of holding general elections has become the subject of heated debate in the Indonesian political context. The right to inquiry allows the DPR to carry out inquiries and investigations into the implementation of elections. This research finds that the use of the DPR's right to inquiry can influence the process of holding elections by increasing transparency and accountability. It is conduct more effective inquiries and investigations into fraud that occurred during the election, so that it can prevent and stop dishonest and unfair actions. Apart from that, it can also strengthen the DPR's supervisory function over the government, so that it can ensure that the government behaves in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This research also explores the impact of the DPR's use of the right to interrogation on the integrity of the election implementation process. Through quantitative and qualitative data analysis, this research investigates how the implementation of the right to inquiry affects honesty and fairness in general elections. The results show that the right to inquiry has a significant influence, with important implications for democracy and good governance. Abstrak Penggunaan hak angket oleh Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) dalam proses penyelenggaraan pemilihan umum (pemilu) telah menjadi subjek perdebatan yang hangat dalam konteks politik Indonesia. Hak angket memungkinkan DPR untuk melakukan penyelidikan dan investigasi terhadap pelaksanaan pemilu yang diduga tidak jujur dan adil. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan hak angket DPR dapat mempengaruhi proses penyelenggaraan pemilu dengan cara meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pelaksanaan pemilu. Hak angket memungkinkan DPR untuk melakukan penyelidikan dan investigasi yang lebih efektif terhadap kecurangan yang terjadi selama pemilu, sehingga dapat mencegah dan menghentikan tindakan-tindakan yang tidak jujur dan tidak adil. Selain itu, juga dapat memperkuat fungsi pengawasan DPR terhadap pemerintah, sehingga dapat memastikan bahwa pemerintah berperilaku sesuai dengan hukum dan aturan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan hak interogasi (hak angket) oleh DPR terhadap integritas proses penyelenggaraan pemilu. Melalui analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif, penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana pelaksanaan hak angket mempengaruhi kejujuran dan keadilan dalam pemilihan umum. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hak angket memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap transparansi dan akuntabilitas pemilu, dengan implikasi penting bagi demokrasi dan good governance.

Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of Indonesian people's lives, changing the way they interact, communicate and obtain information. This article aims to carry out a conceptual analysis and literature study regarding the impact of social media on the dynamics of Indonesian society, with a focus on the case of children who use gadgets in their diet. In the conceptual analysis, this research considers the theoretical framework related to the influence of social media on society, including social, psychological and cultural aspects. The results of the conceptual analysis show that children's use of gadgets in the context of social media can have a significant impact on their eating patterns, mental health and social development. The literature study illustrates a number of findings from previous research, especially in the context of children and gadget use. The results of literature studies indicate that excessive use of gadgets can disrupt children's healthy eating patterns, increase the risk of obesity, and reduce their social interaction time in physical environments. This article highlights the need for a better understanding of the impact of social media on Indonesian society, particularly in the context of children's eating patterns. The implications of this research can make an important contribution to the development of educational strategies and policies that support balanced social media use, children's health, and the development of society as a whole. Further research and collaboration between various stakeholders is needed to overcome the negative impacts and maximize the positive benefits of social media use in Indonesian society.

Abstract

Live streaming is becoming a global trend that is popularly used in many sectors, including e-commerce. Lazada, as one of the largest app-based e-commerce in Southeast Asia, also utilizes the use of live streaming by initiating LazLive (Lazada Live Streaming) as one of the featured features in their mobile application. Unlike most e-commerce such as Tokopedia and Shopee, Lazada as a brand also creates official live stream content from the company through a series of special programs, which are actual features as well as customized marketing messages. This study aims to examine Lazada's strategy of creating a new live streaming method in its mobile application (LazLive). Based on the view of the social construction theory of technology, this study analyzed 23 Lazada live streams held from March 23 to April 24, 2023, during sahoor time. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study used content analysis techniques. The results found that (1) Lazada personalized several of its live streaming features to match the feel of the program, and (2) Lazada continues to update its features according to customer needs and feedback. (3) LazLive received a positive response from Lazada app users and contributed to the number of reviews received by the Lazada mobile app in the Google Play Store. All the innovations that Lazada provides through LazLive are expected to increase application consumers and the welfare of sellers.

Abstract

Social Networking Sites (SNS) have emerged as a consequential implication of technological advancements that play an important role in human life today. The presence of Social Networking Sites (SNS) as a rapidly evolving technology constitutes a global phenomenon that warrants comprehensive examination from various perspectives, with education standing out as one of the most pertinent areas of inquiry. It is necessary to understand the usage of SNS in education in order to better empower them within learning activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze extent SNS is used in the field of education, aiming to empower SNS even further in future learning activities. This systematic literature review refers to 60 Scopus-indexed journal articles that have been adjusted to the concept under further review, namely SNS and education, along with substantively relevant keywords. This research presents eight research questions regarding the conceptual framework, characteristics of journal articles, research findings, and research development. The analysis results indicate that the use of SNS in education plays a significant role for academics and students, and it can support the educational institutions’social life and aspects of teaching, learning, and research.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to increase the understanding of mothers who are members of Posyandu in RW 1 Kayumanis Village, Bogor City. The extension method was decided to be the method for this activity, with socialization activities as the activity that started the extension activities, then mentoring was carried out. This community service activity takes place from January to July 2023, with activity stages: Stage 1 (January 2023): Socialization of activities through RW Management and PKK Posyandu Cadres, Stage 2 (February 2023): Stunting education to PKK Posyandu Cadres, Stage 3 (March-May 2023): Prevention Assistance Stunting through Handling Food Materials and Managing Household Finances in Posyandu RW Activities (distribution of brochures and advice regarding the contents of the brochures), Stage 4 (June - July 2023): Evaluation of Activities through interviews and questionnaires. This community service activity has been able to increase understanding of mothers Posyandu members in RW 1 Kayumanis Village, Bogor City. This is indicated by the results of the questionnaire after the activity, in addition, interviews before and after the activity was carried out. Henceforth, it is recommended to provide assistance to the implementation of the socialization material provided, as well as the area coverage of the activities carried out.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan konsep adab dan etika akademik pada mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan dan umum. Studi deskriptif kualitatif pada mahasiswa Fakultas Agama dan Fakultas Umum. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, survei online, dan pencatatan. Untuk mengevaluasi reduksi, penyajian, dan kesimpulan data. Wawancara semi-terstruktur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sudut pandang, pengalaman, dan kesan responden tentang topik penelitian. Penelitian ini mewawancarai 40 mahasiswa - 20 dari Fakultas Agama dan 20 dari fakultas umum. Mayoritas responden berusia di bawah 20 tahun (67,5%) dan sebagian besar adalah perempuan (77,5%). Responden terbagi rata dari kedua fakultas (masing-masing 50%) dan mayoritas memulai studi setelah tahun 2020 (97,5%), menunjukkan adanya perubahan dalam budaya akademik dan teknologi. Mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan mengartikan adab sebagai etika, tata krama, dan perilaku baik berdasarkan ajaran agama. Sebaliknya, mahasiswa fakultas umum memandang adab sebagai nilai dan perilaku yang menciptakan suasana belajar sopan dan bermartabat. Etika akademik bagi mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan mencakup prinsip-prinsip moral dan nilai-nilai luhur seperti kejujuran dan integritas. Bagi mahasiswa fakultas umum, etika akademik adalah seperangkat prinsip moral yang mengatur perilaku profesional dan keputusan moral dalam kegiatan akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan lebih menekankan pentingnya adab dan etika akademik (50%) dibandingkan mahasiswa fakultas umum (47,5%). Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan adab serta etika akademik di kampus, direkomendasikan penyelenggaraan seminar, workshop, diskusi terbuka, penegakan aturan konsisten, dan pengembangan program pengawasan. Mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan menyoroti pentingnya sosialisasi dan kampanye kesadaran, sedangkan mahasiswa fakultas umum menekankan pendidikan dan pelatihan rutin serta penciptaan budaya akademik yang menghargai kejujuran dan integritas. Perbedaan utama antara adab dan etika akademik menurut mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan adalah bahwa adab berfokus pada norma perilaku sosial, sedangkan etika akademik menekankan prinsip-prinsip moral dan nilai intelektual. Mahasiswa fakultas umum melihat adab sebagai norma perilaku sehari-hari, sementara etika akademik berfokus pada prinsip moral dan nilai-nilai dalam kegiatan akademik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Google Classroom dikalangan mahasiswa untuk belajar. Sampel data dari penelitian diambil dari responden yang mengisi kuisoiner dari Google Classroom yang telah dipersiapkan. Kemudian pengujian validitas data dari hasil kuisioner ini menggunakan software smart-PLS, yang mana data hasil software tersebut akan digunakan sebagai pengukuran tingkat penerimaan Google Classroom di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mulawarman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerimaan platform belajar online Google Classroom diterima dengan baik oleh mahasiswa, terbukti dari manfaat, kemudahan, penerimaan, penggunaan dan dalam situasi asli.
