Abstract

The practice of telemedicine is part of technological development that optimizes technology-based healthcare services, which can guarantee health rights for the community. However, the practice of telemedicine actually raises problems because there has not yet been optimal protective measures for doctors. This research aims to analyze the issues surrounding the regulation of telemedicine practices and their relation to the development of human rights in the health sector, as well as a comparative legal study of telemedicine regulations in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Ethiopia. This research is a normative legal study that emphasizes conceptual, comparative, and legislative approaches. The research results affirm that the right to health is a fundamental part of human rights that has been globally recognized since the WHO Constitution in 1946 and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. As time progresses, the forms of fulfilling these rights also evolve, including through technology-based healthcare services such as telemedicine. Telemedicine has emerged as an important innovation in addressing the challenges of access and equity in healthcare services, particularly for communities in remote areas or with limited mobility. The findings of this study indicate that the regulation of telemedicine in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Ethiopia shares similarities in recognizing the importance of telemedicine within the national healthcare system. However, there are striking differences in regulatory approaches, infrastructure readiness, and legal protections for medical personnel. Malaysia has the most mature legal framework with the Telemedicine Act 1997 and data protection through the PDPA 2010. On the other hand, Indonesia does not yet have comprehensive specific regulations that protect doctors in telemedicine practice, while Ethiopia is still in the early stages of policy development. Therefore, there is a need for adaptive and comprehensive regulatory updates to ensure legal certainty, protection of rights, and sustainability of technology-based healthcare services in each country, particularly Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using the peer tutor method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the peer tutor method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 58.71%, the first cycle 76.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 90.66%. Thus, the use of the peer tutor method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This research examines the socio-cultural impacts on the adoption and perception of artificial intelligence, focusing on its role as a communicator in direct human-machine interactions within the framework of Human-Machine Communication. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly woven into daily human experiences, individuals are turning to it for emotional support and companionship, as seen in narratives of emotional relationships with generative AI. The research aims to understand how direct interactions with artificial intelligence influence perceptions of its utility and emotional closeness, contrasting these with indirect interactions. Employing a qualitative approach, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews, which reveal that initial skepticism about artificial intelligence diminishes with increased usage. Informants start recognizing artificial intelligence not just as a tool but as a companion providing non-judgmental support, facilitated by artificial intelligence-mediated communication. Findings suggest a significant perceptual shift among users, viewing artificial intelligence as capable of fulfilling emotional roles in human relationships. This research contributes to Human- Machine Communication by highlighting the qualitative nuances in how artificial intelligence is embedded in daily life, affecting social and emotional interactions. The research underscores artificial intelligence's potential not only in enhancing productivity but also in serving as a meaningful social and emotional partner. The Social Construction of Technology framework is used to analyze how different social groups influence the development of artificial intelligence, illustrating that the evolution of technology is shaped by societal interactions and perceptions.

Abstract

Librarian work motivation is the main factor that can support the librarian's high and low performance. Librarian can be said to have a high performance if he likes the job done, has high motivation and is able to solve problems well. This is what motivates the author to further investigate whether there is an influence between work motivation on the performance of librarians at the UIN North Sumatra Library. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of work motivation on the performance of librarians at the UIN North Sumatra Library. In connection with that, the approach taken is the theories related to work motivation and performance of librarians. This type of research is descriptive correlational with a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used was a descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Data processing was carried out with the help of SPSS 20 software. The results of this study indicate that work motivation affects the Librarian Performance of UIN North Sumatra.

Abstract

Sistem penelusuran alumni berguna untuk menelusuri keberadaan alumni setelah lulus dari SMK. Bagi sekolah sistem penelusuran alumni menjadi database alumni yang dapat diakses sewaktu-waktu dan nilai tambah saat akreditasi sekolah. Sistem ini bermanfaat sebagai media penghubung antara pihak sekolah dengan alumni sehingga ikatan antara sekolah dengan alumni akan terus terjalin. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini untuk menghasilkan data alumni yang akurat, cepat, dan dapat digunakan sebagai pengambilan keputusan oleh pihak sekolah setelah diperoleh hasil penelusuran alumni. Penelusuran data alumni dibuat dengan menu tampilan dan fitur yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan user serta bersifat dinamis yang sewaktu- waktu ada penambahan atau perbaikan dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Pengolahan data alumni di SMK Bina Sriwijaya menggunakan Office namun masih di temukan banyak kekurangannya. Tim Pengabdian menyimpulkan untuk membuat aplikasi pengolahan data alumni berbasis website di SMK Bina Sriwijaya Palembang. Sistem Informasi sangat mendukung untuk kemajuan sebuah lembaga. Untuk membangun website yang efektif dibutuhkan penerapan strategi tertentu sehingga website mampu mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan melalui tahap perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan. Dari hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat maka dapat di tarik kesimpulan bahwa dari 50 peserta 41 orang atau 82% sangat setuju dengan adanya Pelatihan Pembuatan Website dan 9 orang atau 12% setuju dan 0 orang atau 0% yang tidak setuju. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, kami berhasil mencapai tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan data alumni, serta memfasilitasi komunikasi dan kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan dengan alumni. Temuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi pendidikan berbasis web dapat mengatasi sejumlah tantangan yang dihadapi oleh SMK Bina Sriwijaya Palembang dalam pengelolaan data alumni.

Abstract

Internet networking is a basic requirement for smart devices. The high demand for internet services is a challenge for network administrators. Monitoring of dedicated nodes is often neglected as administrators perform configuration and troubleshooting for customers. Disruptions are often not detected in time resulting in late repairs. Consistent network monitoring is important, but if you are constantly in front of the monitor, work efficiency suffers. Therefore, the author designed a monitoring system to facilitate the job desk of network admins, using the PPPDIO method in the design, where The DUDe can give an alarm when there is a problem, and Bot Telegram sends notifications regarding network continuity, security, and daily data bandwidth.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Al Washliyah Kampung Mesjid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan berbagai strategi kepemimpinan, seperti memberikan motivasi kepada guru, membangun komunikasi yang efektif, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Selain itu, peran kepala madrasah dalam supervisi akademik dan pengelolaan program pelatihan guru turut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi dan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah antara lain dukungan dari pihak sekolah, kedisiplinan guru, serta keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan pengembangan profesional. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan rendahnya partisipasi sebagian guru dalam pelatihan. Dengan demikian, efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kapasitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah melalui pelatihan kepemimpinan pendidikan, serta peningkatan dukungan sarana dan prasarana guna menunjang proses pembelajaran yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Tarekat merupakan bagian integral dalam kehidupan sosial dan keagamaan masyarakat yang berkontribusi dalam membangun nilai spiritual serta interaksi sosial. Namun, penelitian mengenai dampak sosial tarekat terhadap masyarakat umum masih terbatas. Tarekat Samaniyah Wa Naqsabandiyah di Desa Sampali, Deli Serdang, memiliki dinamika sosial yang menarik, di mana pengikut tarekat aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial, tetapi tetap menghadapi resistensi dari sebagian masyarakat akibat perbedaan ajaran dan praktik ibadah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan sosial antara tarekat dan masyarakat umum serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan 15 anggota tarekat aktif, 10 warga non-tarekat, dan beberapa tokoh agama setempat, serta dokumentasi tertulis. Informan dipilih berdasarkan keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas sosial dan keagamaan. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tarekat tidak hanya memiliki peran spiritual tetapi juga aktif dalam kegiatan sosial seperti pembangunan infrastruktur, pengajian, dan santunan sosial. Namun, masih terdapat resistensi dari masyarakat yang kurang memahami tarekat, yang memunculkan persepsi eksklusivitas. Sikap toleransi dan komunikasi terbuka berperan dalam menjaga harmoni sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kebaruan dalam memahami interaksi sosial tarekat di tingkat komunitas lokal dan menyoroti pentingnya dialog untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap tarekat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational support on employee engagement and job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at the East Kutai Regency Youth and Sports Office. The method used is quantitative with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The research population is all employees in the agency with proportional sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS to test the relationships between variables. The results of the study show that organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement and job satisfaction. Employee engagement and job satisfaction also contribute positively and significantly to employee performance. In addition to organizational support, it directly affects the improvement of employee performance. These findings affirm the importance of the role of organizational support in creating a conducive work environment that increases engagement and job satisfaction which has an impact on improving performance. The recommendation of this study is to strengthen organizational support policies, such as improving work facilities, reward systems, and career development, to support optimal employee performance.

Abstract

The "Entrepreneurial Health Care Education in the Muhammadiyah Wiyung Community" initiative aims to enhance health awareness and entrepreneurial spirit among community members, particularly the elderly. Conducted from July to August 2024, this community service program utilized a mentoring approach that included counseling, health assessments, and business plan development. Participants received free health checks, including blood pressure and blood sugar tests, along with consultations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The program also focused on fostering entrepreneurship by assisting community members in creating business plans for a stall selling essential goods. Despite challenges such as limited product variety and offline marketing, the initiative successfully engaged around 50 participants, promoting a healthier lifestyle and entrepreneurial mindset. The collaboration between the service team and community leaders was instrumental in achieving the program's objectives. The findings suggest that ongoing community service efforts can significantly contribute to the development of healthy, productive, and entrepreneurial individuals within the Muhammadiyah Wiyung community. Future recommendations include expanding product offerings and incorporating e-commerce strategies to enhance business viability.
