Abstract

This study aims to improve students' motivation and learning achievement in Islamic religious education learning by using Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament Method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data of this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament Method can improve students' motivation and learning achievement in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.89%, the first cycle 68.87% and in the second cycle it increased to 90.32%. Thus, Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament Method can be used as an alternative to improve students' motivation and learning achievement in Islamic religious education learning

Abstract

The insurance sector is undergoing a substantial shift in the swiftly changing environment of society 4.0, entering society 5.0 marked by digitization, mobile technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI). The formerly deemed conservative sector increasingly embraces innovative technology to improve operational efficiency and transform consumer interaction. This paper examines the influence of mobile and AI technologies on corporate communication and public relations, explicitly analyzing their effects on the insurance industry via the perspective of technological determinism. The objective is to examine how new technologies transform consumer interactions, trust dynamics, and organizational tactics while addressing ethical issues such as AI transparency and data protection. This study, rooted in technological determinism, highlights technology's independent and socially influenced effects on organizational behaviors. It uses a qualitative approach, phenomenological method, and semi-structured interviews with industry experts to investigate lived experiences and insights. The findings indicate that mobile platforms improve consumer interaction through immediacy and accessibility, while AI enhances operations through predictive analytics and automation. Nonetheless, issues about diversity and ethical responsibility persist as significant concerns. The research suggests that mobile and AI technologies serve as transformational agents, necessitating enterprises to reconcile technical innovation with ethical accountability. By implementing inclusive, transparent, and proactive communication strategies, insurance businesses may use these technologies to cultivate trust, enhance stakeholder relationships, and adeptly negotiate the intricacies of Society 4.0. This study offers a framework for incorporating developing technology into corporate communication and public relations by social norms and expectations.

Abstract

In the ever-changing internet era, mobile media consumption has shifted significantly from text content to video content. Short video applications serve as a solution to fill fragmented free time, offering fast and easily accessible entertainment. These videos often have diverse content and can interact with each other across platforms, allowing users to engage more deeply and enjoy a more dynamic viewing experience. Since the advent of the Internet, uses and gratifications theory has also been applied to various types of digital platforms, for example, to help understand the role of E-WoM moderation and traditional media advertising in choosing fast food outlets. This study aims to analyze user motivations and satisfactions in using TikTok as a digital platform with uses and gratifications theory (UGT). This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method to obtain research data. The results of this study indicate that uses and gratifications theory (UGT) has a relationship with awareness and use of TikTok social media. There are several drives and motivations that each user has related to the use of TikTok social media, especially the FYP feature, namely entertainment, media for self-expression, escape from reality, and user loyalty to access certain content.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Uses and Gratifications Theory (UGT) in understanding TikTok users' information needs in the digital era. Utilizing a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, it explores the motivations, experiences, and perceptions of active TikTok users, predominantly digital natives. The findings reveal that TikTok effectively satisfies user information needs via intelligent algorithms delivering hyper-personalized content. Entertainment, education, and social interaction emerge as primary motivations for TikTok usage. Moreover, the platform offers practical value, such as skill tutorials, lifestyle inspiration, and product reviews tailored to individual needs. However, challenges such as questionable information validity and irrelevant content persist.  This research reinforces UGT by uncovering the complex dimensions of digital media use, encompassing psychological, cognitive, and social interactions. TikTok functions beyond a mere information channel, evolving into a dynamic digital space where knowledge, identity, and technology interact continuously. The study also highlights the role of TikTok as both an educational and entertainment platform, capable of providing solutions to everyday problems while fostering social connections. The implications extend to enhancing UGT by showcasing how modern media address multifaceted user needs. Recommendations include improving content validation mechanisms to increase credibility. This research offers valuable insights into how social media platforms like TikTok can adapt to evolving user demands, ensuring relevance and utility in the digital landscape.

Abstract

Marriage in Islam is a noble act of worship and a means to create a life filled with love, tranquility, and blessings within the family. Islam sets clear rules regarding who is permitted and prohibited from marrying, with the aim of preserving the sanctity and harmony of family relationships as well as the welfare of the community. In the Qur'an, there are two types of marriage prohibitions: permanent (mu'abbad) and temporary prohibitions. The permanent prohibitions include marriage with close relatives such as siblings, mothers, stepmothers, and married women, while temporary prohibitions apply in certain conditions, such as women in the waiting period (iddah) or those who are menstruating or postpartum. Additionally, there are other prohibitions, such as marrying someone of a different faith (except for a Muslim man marrying a woman from the People of the Book) or marrying more than four women without the ability to treat them justly. These prohibitions aim to protect the well-being of individuals and families, ensuring that marriages create a home that is peaceful, loving, and blessed by Allah.

Abstract

Saat ini diskursus tentang hubungan islam dengan politik masih menjadi perbincangan dan isu penting yang dapat menyita perhatian jutaan ummat di dunia, begitu juga di Indonesia. Dan perkembangan politik global hari ini sepertinya memberikan implikasi tersendiri akan hubungan islam dengan hukum internasiona dan hubungan internasional antara satu Negara dengan Negara lainnya. Siyasah dauliyah merupakan bagian dari pada kajian fikih siyasyah atau politik islam, dan khazanah ini merupakan bukti bahwa islam memiliki madzhab politik, dan memiliki model yang khas. Siyasyah dauliyah ini merupakan lingkup kajian tentang diplomasi, peperangan, ketatanegaraan islam, kekuasaan dan keteraturan masyarakat dalam perspektif agama islam yang mencakup hukum, dogma, tradisi, sejarah dan pemikiran tokoh. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inheritance distribution process in Paya Village, which often becomes a source of conflict in many families. The main focus of this research is to understand the practice of inheritance distribution that does not comply with the applicable legal provisions, particularly in the context of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). The research employs an empirical normative method, where data were collected through interviews and field observations, as well as a review of relevant legal regulations, including the KHI and the Qur'an, specifically Surah An-Nisa verse 11. The findings reveal that inheritance distribution in Paya Village frequently deviates from the provisions stipulated in the KHI. The practices show a tendency for the eldest child to receive a larger share, thereby reducing the rights of female heirs. This injustice in distribution often triggers sensitive social issues, including disputes and conflicts among family members over inheritance rights. The study emphasizes that the inheritance practices that do not align with the KHI, particularly Article 176, have the potential to cause societal conflicts. Therefore, it is essential to enhance public understanding of inheritance law to ensure that inheritance distribution is conducted fairly and in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Tempatkan abstrak berbahasa Indonesia pada bagian ini. Abstrak memberikan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi makna ideologi radikal dalam puisi “Nggahi Dana” dalam permainan masyarakat di Kabupaten Dompu. Oleh karena itu untuk mengetahui permasalahan tersebut digunakan teori hermeneutika Hans-george Gadamer dan teori-teori lain seperti teori poststruktural dan sosiologi sastra untuk melengkapi instrumen I yang menjadi teori bedah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskripsi analitis. Interpretasi data dilakukan melalui metode kepustakaan dan observasi lapangan dengan teknik perekaman video pada permainan masyarakat di Kabupaten Dompu yang selanjutnya ditranskrip dengan pembukuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa konstruksi ideologi puisi “Nggahi Dana” dalam permainan masyarakat di Kabupaten Dompu mengacu pada nilai, filosofi, norma, keyakinan agama, sentimentalitas, aturan etika, pengetahuan atau persepsi tentang dunia dan etos.

Abstract

Transportasi laut menjadi moda yang ekonomis dan efesien dalam melakukan perpindahan muatan dan penumpang dengan jumlah yang sangat besar, namun kepastian jaminan keselamatan menjadi hal pokok dan utama bagi pelaku perniagaan. Dengan voyage pelayaran pelabuhan Bulgaria-Turkie, MV Platamon mengalami crossing situation yang menyebabkan tubrukan pada lambung kanan kapal. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini, mengetahui secara detail kinerja navigator terhadap penggunaan navigasi dalam melakukan tugas jaga laut. Penelitian ini merupakan mixed method, dengan teknik pengumpulan data kusioner, wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Dengan melibatkan seluruh anak buah kapal yang melaksanakan tugas jaga kemudian mengamati semua tindakan tindakan dalam melakukan dinas jaga. Hasil penelitian memberikan secara detail bahwa, kinerja navigator terdapat kelalaian, navigasi yang tidak standby ketika melewati alur pelayaran ramai dan belum memiliki SOP dalam emergency situation.

Abstract

Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Republik Indonesia (MK RI) No. 42/PUU-XIX/2021 tentang pembatalan ketentuan masa jabatan Kepala Desa telah memicu perdebatan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembatasan masa jabatan Kepala Desa berdasarkan putusan tersebut dalam perspektif Fiqih Siyasah. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengkaji prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan dalam Islam yang relevan dengan isu tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembatalan pembatasan masa jabatan Kepala Desa sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Fiqih Siyasah, terutama dalam hal musyawarah (syura), keadilan (al-'adalah), dan kemaslahatan umat (maslahah 'ammah). Namun, implementasinya harus mempertimbangkan konteks lokal, potensi tantangan, dan kebutuhan akan regulasi serta pengawasan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa fleksibilitas dalam masa jabatan Kepala Desa, jika diterapkan dengan tepat, dapat menjadi sarana untuk meningkatkan kualitas kepemimpinan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa sesuai dengan tujuan syariat Islam.
