Abstract

Report of covid-19 Center for Disease Control (CDC) in16 March showed that 31% of the 4,226 confirmed COVID-19 cases were people aged ≥ 65 years. The susceptibility of elderly individuals to several diseases is due to decreased immunity. Therefore, COVID-19 vaccination is an important step to take. This article aims to determine the management of COVID-19 vaccination in the elderly. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that vaccination is a preventive strategy to increase immunity in the elderly. Although the immune response is greatly reduced due to the aging process, the right adjuvant formulation can increase the effectiveness of the vaccine. An understanding of the adjuvant mechanism to increase vaccine effectiveness is needed to develop a stronger vaccine response in elderly individuals.

Abstract

This essay discusses the philosophy of education according to Paulo Freire, specifically methodology in the education process. The main question deals with the contribution of Freire's thought to the education system in Indonesia. Through literature review, the author underlines the concept of education as a process of liberation. Education is no longer regarded as a transfer of knowledge, but a process of change to create social structures that are more just and humane. Freire criticizes the bank-style education model which makes the teacher the subject, while the student as an object like an empty box to be filled. According to Freire, education should be developed as problem-posing education, namely education that aims at posing and discussing actual problems. It can be the main inspiration for the education system in Indonesia. This approach allows students to freely and creatively recognize their abilities and the reality of the problem objectively-contextually and respond appropriately to problems by creating productive and changing-oriented works.

Abstract

The administration system in Indonesia, especially speaking in an education institution, is suffering from its bureaucracy. Several works have been placed and display the fluctuation of the tension. This essay attempts to grasp Max Weber's idea concerning bureaucracy that may offer an alternative contribution to its development. As a qualitative work, this article explores Weber's secondary sources and tries to reconstruct its core and bridge it to the local context. In conclusion, Weber's rationalism in bureaucracy discourse highlights the importance of individual skills and abilities. Weber's attention falls to the anthropological approach rather than its technical issue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kebijakan dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menganalisa dokumen-dokumen penilaian pendidikan di SMA Katolik Seminari Kakaskasen dan mengonfirmasikan data-data yang diperoleh dengan pihak-pihak yang bertanggung jawab dalam penilaian pendidikan di sekolah. Penilaian pendidikan di SMA Katolik Seminari Kakaskasen sudah meliputi aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.Penilaian aspek sikap mendapatkan penekanan besar dan dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian, yakni penilaian kepribadian, penilaian kerohanian, penilaian sikap sosial dan penilaian kedisiplinan. Penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan tidak jauh berbeda dengan penilaian di sekolah-sekolah lain. Penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan dilaksanakan dengan cara yang adil dan jujur. Siswa mendapat nilai sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya dan nilai yang rendah tidak dinaikkan sampai mencapai KKM hanya karena tuntutan akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan literasi numerasi di RCESM sebelum masa pandemi covid-19 dan selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru-guru, tenaga kependidikan, instruktur ekstrakurikuler, orang tua, dan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman, dengan aktifitas berupa data collection, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Implementasi program literasi numerasi sebelum masa pandemi covid-19 dilaksanakan melalui: penetapan tim literasi RCESM dan penyusunan program literasi; waktu literasi 15 menit sebelum KBM; dekorasi lingkungan sekolah kaya literasi; kegiatan field trip bernuansa literasi numerasi; kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka; kegiatan ekstrakurikuler robotik; kegiatan bazaar sekolah; dan kegiatan rekoleksi (live-in) di Wisma Lorenzo Lotta. 2) Implementasi program literasi numerasi selama masa pandemi covid-19 dilaksanakan melalui: pembelajaran berbasis proyek: muatan IPA dan SBdP; pembelajaran matematika: membuat bangun ruang dan menyusun puzzle; dan membuat dekorasi ruangan bernuansa literasi numerasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh intensitas menonton  TV Tentang Covid-19 Terhadap Kecemasan Masyarakat Kota Manado khususnya di Kelurahan Kairagi 2 Lingkungan 7. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif regresi linear sederhana dengan responden masayarakat kelurahan kairagi dua lingkungan 7 sebanyak 105 orang dari total populasi sebesar 521 orang. Pengumpulan data diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Alat analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan aplikasi IBM Statistik versi 25. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif antara intensitas menonton televisi tentang pemberitaan Covid-19 terhadap tingkat kecemasan masyarakat, dimana semakin tinggi intensitas menonton televisi maka semakin tingkat kecemasan masyarakat. Didapatkan nilai R = 0,532 dan nilai siginifikansi = 0,000. Untuk nilai koefisien Determinasi R dari hasil regresi adalah sebesar 0.283 atau 28,3%, hal ini berarti Intensitas Menonton TV berpengaruh terhadap kecemasan masyarakat sebesar 28,3% sedangkan 71,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak terdapat dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas memegang peran kunci dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia (SDM) Indonesia yang unggul. Sementara SDM diperlukan sebagai penggerak proses pembangunan suatu Negara, semakin berkualitas SDM yang dimiliki oleh suatu Negara maka semakin cepat proses pembangunannya menuju masyarakat madani. Undang-undang Dasar tahun 1945 menyebutkan bahwa pendidikan merupakan hak warga Negara yang harus dipenuhi oleh pemerintah sebagai intitusi Negara. UN sejak awal sudah menuai kontroversi di Indonesia, sebahagian masyarakat menganggap UN tidak tepat untuk dilaksanakan secara merata di Indonesia. Disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana masing-masing sekolah yang ada di seluruh Indonesia belum merata, serta tidak semua sekolah dan siswa mendapatkan akses pendidikan yang layak dan berkualitas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam kebijakan publik dan kebijakan pendidikan, dua aturan tersebut mengatur dan mengikat seluruh kehidupan masyarakat yang harus diikuti dan tanpa melihat status social orang tersebut. Kebijakan publik adalah berbagai aturan yang ada untuk kepentingan orang banyak yang prosedurnya dilakukan dengan melibatkan beberapa orang pemerintahan dalam membantu untuk menerapkan tujuan awal yang sudah ditetapkan, kebijakan pendidik adalah suatu kebijakan yang berlaku untuk berbagai lembaga pendidikan yang di mana harus mengikuti kebijakan yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah seperti kurikulum yang terbaru masih terdapat kelemahan dan kelebihan dalam penerapannya di Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of education is seen very rapidly and has produced many new learning methods and models that are used to compete in the world of education in producing quality human resources and being able to compete in the industrial world or the world of work. However, since the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, the government, especially in the field of education, suggested that every school use online learning methods with the aim of breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to see if there is an effect of online learning on student learning outcomes in graphic design subjects at SMK Eklesia Jailolo. The results showed that the online learning method with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model was higher than online learning with the conventional learning model (lectures). Keywords:

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi modul pembelajaran berbasis android pada mata pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis pada kelas X Jurusan Multimedia di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sebagai suplemen tambahan guna memudahkan guru dan siswa belajar tentang materi Dasar Desain Grafis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Multimedia Development Life Cyle yang memilliki enam tahap pengembangan, yaitu Concept. Design. Material Collecting. Assembly. Testing. dan yang terakhir Distribution. Pengujian aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk Developer Test dan End User Test. Aplikasi ini menggunakan dasar pemrograman Action Script 3.0 pada Adobe Flash dengan sitem operasi Android.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, productive teacher training, commitment, and work motivation on the performance management of productive teachers of vocational schools in North Sulawesi Province who hold light vehicle engineering skills competencies totaling 722 teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method with causality study techniques and uses path analysis. The research data were collected using a questionnaire technique and analyzed. The population in this study were vocational teachers in North Sulawesi Province. The determination of the number of samples in this study was carried out by multi-stage sampling using the Slovin formula to obtain 264 teachers. Based on the results of research, principal leadership has a positive effect on productive teacher professional training, this shows that the higher the leadership of the principal, the more productive teacher professional training for vocational teachers in North Sulawesi Province will beBased on the conclusion that the leadership of the principal has a positive effect on productive teacher professional training, commitment and work motivation of productive teachers, this shows that the higher the leadership of the principal, the more productive teacher performance management of vocational teachers in 15 North Sulawesi Province will be improved.
