Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik guru fisika SMAN di Kota. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak sebanyak 8 orang guru yang berasal dari 8 sekolah yang ditentukan secara cluster random sampling berdasarkan akreditasi sekolah, guru yang telah bersertifikasi dari Tahun 2007 sampai dengan 2014, guru yang telah mengikuti tes uji kompetensi pedagogik Tahun 2015 dan 2017, dan guru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan Kurikulum 2013 lebih dari tiga kali. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara pemberian kuesioner dan observasi untuk mengukur kompetensi pedagogik guru dan pengkajian dokumentasi RPP untuk mengukur indikator pengembangan kurikulum, selanjutnya dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan indikator (1) penguasaan karakteristik peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,47 dengan kategori cukup, (2) penguasaan teori belajar dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 76,41 dengan kategori baik, (3) penguasaan pengembangan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 67,19 dengan kategori cukup, (4) penguasaan melaksanakan kegiatan yang mendidik memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 75,00 dengan kategori baik, Secara keseluruhan dalam penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik guru fisika SMAN di kota Makassar dalam kategori baik.Kata kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kurikulum 2013, Guru Fisika. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach that aims to analyze the mastery of the pedagogical competence of the physics teacher of SMAN in Makassar. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of critical thinking skills and students' science learning outcomes after participating in SETS-based science learning. This research is a quantitative research. The type of research used is a quasi experimental design. The population in this study were all students of SDN 70 Manjalling, Maros Regency with a total of 354 students and the research sample was class V students of SDN 70 Manjalling which consisted of 2 groups in class VA totaling 25 people and class VB totaling 24 people. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using test techniques to determine critical thinking skills in the form of 6-item essay questions and science learning outcomes in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions. The results of the study based on descriptive analysis showed that (1) The average critical thinking ability of SETS-based science learning was 88.12 and direct learning (conventional) was 80.54. This means that SETS-based science learning is better than conventional learning. This means that SETS-based science learning is better than conventional learning. While the results of the inferential analysis showed that SETS-based science learning had a more significant effect on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 70 Manjalling, Kabupaten Maros. This is based on the multivariate test table in the manova test, the Sig value is obtained. 0.001 < 0.05

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah MGMP IPA Kota MAkassar dengan masalah yang ditemukan adalah (1) kurangnya pengetahuan guru-guru tentang keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran, (2) tidak ada sumber informasi mengenai keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Berdasarkan masalah maka dilakukan persamaan persepsi kepada mitra dan pengabdi dalam hal defenisi keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran. Metode penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dalam bentuk ceramah dan demonstrasi namun karena keterbatasan kebijakan PPKM maka pelatihan dilaksanakan secara online melalui Aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Hasil yang dicapai (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan pengetahuan tentang keterampilan proses sains dan (2) mitra mendapatkan informasi mengenai keterampilan-keterampailan yang bekaitan dengan penerapan etnosians di dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kata kunci: Etnosains, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 11 Makassar dalam pembelajaran fisika pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Adapun variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMAN 11 Makassar yang berjumlah 125 orang. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diteliti meliputi interpretasi, analisis, dan inferensi. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan cara memberikan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika berada pada kategori rendah, dimana 67 peserta didik berada dalam kategori rendah dengan persentase 53,6%. Untuk indikator interpretasi berada pada kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase 20%, serta analisis dan inferensi  berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase masing-masing 40%.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) provide an overview of the critical thinking skills of students at SMAN 3 Enrekang, (2) to analyse the improvement of students critical thinking skills using the environment based students’ worksheets at SMAN 3 Enrekang (3) to analyse the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills using the conventional students’ worksheets at SMAN 3 Enrekang (4) to compare the use of environment-based students’ worksheets and conventional ones. The research is a quasi-experimental study. The independent variable is the learning model and the dependent variable is the critical thinking skills of students in learning physics. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA. Taken by using purposive sampling technique, class of XI MIPA I was the experimental class and XI MIPA II was the control class. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that (1) the average pretest and post-test scores of critical thinking skills in the experimental class are both in the high category, while the pretest and post-test scores in the control class was the sufficient category and the high category, respectively (2) there is an increase in students’ critical thinking skills in using an environment based students’ worksheets strategy at SMAN 3 Enrekang, (3) there is an increase in students’ critical thinking skills using conventional students’ worksheets, (4) there are differences in the use of environment based student worksheets where the  obtained is 0,15 smaller than α 0,05. These results indicate that there are differences in critical thinking skills of students of SMAN 3 Enrekang when using environmental-based student worksheets and without using environmental-based student worksheets.

Abstract

The 21st century is a century that encourages humans to integrate life with ICT and education is no exception. However, in reality, in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar, the use of technology such as mobile phones and the use of teaching materials is still lacking. Therefore, one of the efforts made is to produce hyper-content based LKPD student worksheet so that students are more interested in learning physics. This study aims to describe the content validity of hyper-content student worksheet on temperature and heat topic. Furthermore, the goals of this research was to describe the practicality of the response of teachers and students to hyper-content based student worksheet on the temperature and heat topic, and describe the effectiveness of student worksheet for the given questions. This research is a type of development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model design (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results showed that the feasibility of hyper-content based student worksheet based on the assessment of valuators 1 and 2 was categorized as very feasible, with the percentage of LKPD validation 96.0%. Teachers and students gave a very positive response to the practicality of the LKPD based on hyper-content- as a learning medium with a teacher response percentage of 100.0% with very practical criteria and student responses 84.37% very practical criteria. The effectiveness obtained from the students' test results of 0.59 criteria is quite effective

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning styles and physics learning outcomes of class X science students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar and the relationship between the two variables. This research is a quantitative descriptive research employing survey design. Data collection were carried out by distributing online learning style questionnaires using google forms and giving cognitive tests in the form of multiple choice to 124 students. To help determine the influence of learning styles toward learning outcomes of physics, inferential analysis in the form of Pearson product moment correlation analysis was used. The results showed thatthe most of the students in class X science at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar had visual learning styles, and only few of them had kinesthetic learning styles and auditory learning styles. Some students were not categorized in one specific learning style as they are not dominant in any of the three.In addition, majority of the female students had a visual learning style, while majority of the male students had kinesthetic learning style. Furthermore, the students’ physics learning outcomes were in medium category. Finally, there was a weak relationship between learning styles and students' physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

In this work, we investigate the numerical solution of one-dimensional bed-load sediment transport model using two steps finite difference method which so-called MacCormack method. Bed-load sediment transport model is composed by the shallow water equation and Exner equation. The Meyer-Peter and Muller (MPM) formula and Wu formula will be used to determine the Grass factor of the bed-load sediment transport. These governing equations will be discretized into predictor and corrector steps of the MacCormack method. The numerical results of the MacCormack method will be validated with an analytical solution of the bed-load sediment transport model. In addition, the MacCormack solution will also be compared with experimental solutions and another numerical method solutions that have existed previously. The numerical results based on MacCormack method give excellent results in which the numerical and the analytical results are hardly differentiated with RMSE of around 00042  or 4,2 .

Abstract

Experiment-based research on the development of student worksheets (SW) in Science Physics has been carried out to Grow Students' Science Process Skills. This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective experimental-based student worksheet product. The research method used is the method of research and development (Research and Development). Experiment-based student worksheet development uses the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The students involved in this study were 32 class VIII students at SMPN 51 Makassar and 7 Physics Educators who joined the MGMP IPA in the city of Makassar. The research instruments used were expert validity questionnaires, educator response questionnaires, and science process skills tests. After analyzing the validation data according to Aiken's, an expert agreement index was obtained for scientific literacy-based worksheets of 0.79, an expert response questionnaire index of 0.80, and an expert agreement index of science process skills tests of 0.83 so that all three were declared valid. Practitioners' assessment obtained an overall percentage of 90.80% which is in the very good category. Meanwhile, in terms of science process skills, students who achieve mastery learning are 75% and those who do not achieve completeness are 25%. So that it can be stated that experimental-based worksheets in science learning physics are effective for growing students' science process skills
