Abstract

Tujuan penlitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterkaitan self-efficacy dengan hasil belajar peserta didik. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 72 peserta siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah lembar angket self-efficacy dan lembar penilaian peserta didik. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dengan uji korelasi, uji regresi sederhana dan n-gain score. .Hasil data analisis diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan hasil belajar peserta didik, semakin tinggi self-efficacy siswa maka hasil belajar siswa juga semakin tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students? response toward the implementation of C-Map Tools in Physics Learning. This research used quantitative research method. The participant of this study was 36 students of natural science group Senior High School One of Menganti. The instrument research was student responses questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 12 statements in term of response in motivation, independently, novelty and mastery of concept. Based on data analysis, student responses questionnaire, it can be concluded that student response toward the implementation of C-Map Tools to Physics Learning got a percentage 72,97 % with a good category. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penerapan pembelajaran diskusi kelas tipe buzz group pada materi Usaha dan Energi di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan, mendeskripsikan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik setelah diberikan pembelajaran diskusi kelas tipe buzz group pada materi Usaha dan Energi di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan, dan mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik setelah diterapkan pembelajaran diskusi kelas tipe buzz group untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah pada materi Usaha dan Energi di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian pre-experimental dan desain penelitian menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design, dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 93 peserta didik kelas X MIA di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diskusi kelas tipe buzz group untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah pada materi Usaha dan Energi dengan persentase sebesar 91,7% dengan kategori sangat baik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan tes argumentasi ilmiah secara lisan, dan lembar soal pre-test dan post-test, dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan model Toulmin?s Argumen Pattern (TAP) yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif, diperoleh data pada saat posttest sebesar 2,1% peserta didik berada pada level 2, sebesar 65,6% pada level 3 dan sebesar 32,3% berada pada level 4. Pada saat pretest 100% peserta didik berada pada level 1. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan level argumentasi secara tertulis pada ketiga kelas. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan perhitungan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran diskusi kelas tipe buzz group pada materi Usaha dan Energi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik di ketiga kelas tersebut secara signifikan pada ?=5%, dengan nilai rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,7 berkategori tinggi.Kataikunci: Diskusi kelas, Buzz group, dan Kemampuan Argumentasi Ilmiah

Abstract

The research aims to describe science literacy learning and students learning response toward implementation of the scrapbook as a media to train science literacy in the static fluid. The type of research is Pre Experimental with One-group pretest-posttest design. The samples in this research are students of experiment class. Observation sheet, questionnaire, and documentation guidance are used to collect data. Observation analyzed to describe science literacy learning and questionnaire response. Based on the data analyzed, the implementation of the scrapbook as media was done very well. Students response to the implementation of the scrapbook as a media had good criteria.Keywords: Scrapbook, Literacy science, students learning response.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir abstrak yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validitas untuk menilai kevalidan media yang akan dikembangkan, lembar pengamatan pembelajaran untuk menilai kepraktisan media yang dikembangkan, lembar penilaian dan angket respon siswa untuk menilai keefektifan media yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai: 1) Persentase validitas media sebesar 90,47% dengan kategori sangat valid dan persentase validitas materi sebesar 90,00% dengan kategori sangat valid. 2) Persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 98,14% dengan kategori sangat baik. 3) Persentase hasil keterampilan berpikir abstrak (pengontrolan variabel 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, penalaran proporsional 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, penalaran probabilistik 66,67% dengan kategori baik, penalaran kombinatorial 75,76% dengan kategori baik, dan penalaran korelasional 66,67% dengan kategori baik) dan persentase respon siswa sebesar 92,76% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir abstrak layak untuk digunakan. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, augmented reality, keterampilan berpikir abstrak.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kelayakan instrumen soal kepada kelas XI MIPA 5 pada materi Teori Kinetik Gas melalui four-tier diagnostic test. Tahap uji coba yakni Uji Coba 1 untuk menentukan kelayakan instrumen four-tier diagnostic test kepada 34 siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 dengan diperoleh persentase false positives (FP) 4,9% dan false negatives (FN) 6,8%.Validitas empiris konstruk setiap butir soal diperoleh 14 soal yang dinytakan valid dan validitas empiris konstruk keseluruhan butir soal diperoleh nilai (rxy) sebesar 0,362. Nilai indeks reliabilitas instrumen yang diperoleh menggunakan perhitungan Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0,562, kepraktisan instrumen terlihat pada terdistribusi merata terhadap kombinasi jawaban konsepsi yakni diperoleh dua nilai tertinggi pada kategori konsepsi PK (Paham Konsep) sebesar 37% dan M (Miskonsepsi) sebesar 30%. Instrumen dikatakan efektif berdasarkan hasil respon siswa dengan kategori baik. Kata Kunci : Kelayakan Instrumen, Profil Konsepsi, Teori Kinetik Gas, Four-Tier Diagnostic Test Abstract This study aims to determine the feasibility of class XI MIPA 5 students on the kinetic theory of gas through the four-tier diagnostic test. This type of research uses the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) model. This study consists of two stages of testing, namely First Trial to determine the feasibility of a four-tier diagnostic test instrument to 34 students of class XI MIPA 5 with the percentage of false positives (FP) 4.9% and false negatives (FN) 6.8%. The empirical validity of the construct of each item is obtained by 14 questions which are valid and empirical validity of the overall construct of the item obtained value (rxy) of 0.362. The instrument reliability index value obtained using Cronbach Alpha calculation is 0.562, the practicality of the instrument is seen to be distributed evenly to the combination of answers to conception, namely the highest two scores in the conception category Conceptual Understanding of 37% and Misconception of 30%. and the instrument is said to be effective based on the results of student responses in good categories Keywords: Instrument Feasibility, Profile Conception, Kinetic Gas Theory, Four-Tier Diagnostic Test

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pemelajaran guided discovery. penelitian idilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Mojokrto menggunakan 2 kelas yakni X MIPA 3 dan X MIPA 4 yang berjumlah 72 peserta didik.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one shot case study dengan metode penelitian observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik meningkat pada kategori sedang dari ke-2 kelas tersebut setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan pengukuran berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Bahwa nilai pre-test pada kelas X MIPA 3 sebesar 31,61 dan nilai post-test sebesar 77,08 sedangkan pada kelas X MIPA 4 sebesar 33,88 dan besar nilai post-test yakni 75,69. Peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik dapat diamati berdasarkan hasil uji prasyarat salah satunya yakni uji n-gain menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai n-gain pada kelas X MIPA 3 sebesar 0,64 sedangkan pada kelas X MIPA 4 sebesar 0,63. Kata kunci: guided discovery, argumentasi ilmiah Abstract The aim of this study is to describe the improvement of scientific argumentation skills of students after applying guided discovery learning models. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto and it used 2 classes of X MIPA 3 and X MIPA 4, which amounted to 72 students. This study was used quantitative research and one shot case study as the design with observation, documentation, and test. Based on the results of the study showed that the scientific argumentation skills of students increased in the medium category of the 2 classes after being given learning by measurement based on the results of the pretest and posttest. The pre-test value in class X MIPA 3 was 31.61 and the post-test value was 77.08 while in class X MIPA 4 was 33.88 and the post-test value was 75.69. The improvement of students scientific argumentation skills can be observed based on the results of the prerequisite test, that was the n-gain test showed that the average value of n-gain in class X MIPA 3 was 0.64 while in class X MIPA 4 was 0.63. Abstract

Argumentation is a the process of preparing for a formal statement that is accompanied by evidence and logical reasons. This study aims to analyze the effect of scientific argumentation skills on critical thinking skills. The research subjects used were 11th-grade students in 19 Senior High School, Surabaya. This study used an experimental design with quantitative descriptive 100 subjects of three classes. The question given is included in the topic of global warming. The research subjects were given ten questions related to scientific literacy and critical thinking questions. These ten questions must imply answered by giving logical reasons to support their answers. Each student?s answers will be adjusted to the Toulmin?s Argumentation Pattern assessment guidelines that have been adapted. The results of this study indicated that students scientific argumentation in level 2 and student?s critical thinking in a moderate level. On average students provide good claims and evidence. In Pearsons correlation test, scientific argumentation skills on critical thinking skills have a great relationship. Knowing the level of student?s intial ability in the arguments related to critical thinking, it can be prepared learning models that can provide to supporting influence in learning activities. Abstract

Considering the importance of each competency to the students? development then those they should have a positive correlation with each other. Therefore, this research aims to find the relation between argumentation skill, critical thinking, and concept mastery of Senior High School Students and to find their level of scientific argumentation, critical thinking, and concept mastery ability. The research used mixed-method. The qualitative data was focused on students? scientific argumentation while the quantitative data was focused on the level of variables based on the indicator, correlations between variables, and the number of students in each level of each variable. The participant in this research is senior high school students who already learned Newton?s Law of motion. The critical thinking skill and concept mastery test included some different multiple-choice problems and followed by an essay of reason/ support for the answer each. While, the argumentation test formed by chained questions, including multiple choice test and essay test to figure out the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP). The test was given without giving any treatment for the participant. Based on the result concluded that: There is a very strong positive correlation between scientific argumentation, critical thinking skill, and concept mastery; While their scientific argumentation ability categorized intermediate, students? have a low grade of critical thinking skill and concept mastery. Abstract

A history of physics lecture become important for the student because its knowledge will be a complement as knowledge framework from all that have and will be obtained by students. This is an optional lecture for the student of physics education by 2 credit which is programmed at even semester. Though an optional lecture, this is still very enthused by students. Pursuant to this situation hence done a research and development (R and D) to this lecture. Research done by student of Reguler Physics Education 2006. The aim of this research is to develop learning materials include Lesson Plan (GBRP and SAP), dictate, Student Worksheet (LKM), Appraisal Sheet (LP), hands out, physician pictures and poster oriented to socratic model. Then those are tried to the student. The result shows the ability of lecturer in managing study of Socrates categorize goodness. Result of management at introduction and activity of class condition shows that the category is very good, while for core activities, closure, and time management shows good enough category, from perception mean score 3.0 every study steps. Student activity cover: listening actively, reading, doing and writing answer in LKM, discussing with lecturer, discussing between student in group, making resume, and irrelevant behavior successively are 14.50%, 13.50%, 16.50%, 27.75%, 20.75%, 7.00% and 0.00%. The biggest percentage activity is to discuss with lecturer, while smallest activity percentage is to make resume and irrelevant behavior. Enthusiasm learn student at negative and positive statement criterion, mean score to every condition of attention, relevansion, confidence, and satisfaction (ARCS) successively is 4.00, 4.05, 4.15, and 3.45 with good category with mean score for all condition are 3.91 so that student enthusiasm criterion in good category. The learning product of pretest at learning show all product indicator is not complete with complete mean 27.68%. Then after given by post test its result show complete mean equal to 81.67% and all item test is completed.Key words: Development materials learning, Socratic Model, R & D, History of Physics
