Abstract

This research was initiated by several internal factors influencing learning outcomes, namely learning interest. Learning interest is highly related to students’ learning outcomes. The indicators of learning interest are feeling happy, interested, accepting, and students’ involvement. The purposes of this study were to determine the learning interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 30 Pekanbaru and SDN 188 Pekanbaru and to find out the differences in mathematics learning interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 30 Pekanbaru and SDN 188 Pekanbaru. The type of this research was descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students at SDN 30 Pekanbaru and SDN 188 Pekanbaru. The samples in this study were selected through purposive sampling. The results found that the mathematics learning interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 30 Pekanbaru was categorized as very interested with a percentage of 78.49%, and similarly, the mathematics learning interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 188 Pekanbaru was also classified as very interested with a percentage of 83.36%. This research also revealed that there were differences in the mathematics learning interest between fifth-grade students at SDN 30 Pekanbaru and SDN 188 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-esteem dengan self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari adanya fenomena beberapa siswa yang masih menunjukkan rasa rendah diri, kurang percaya diri, serta pelabelan negatif terhadap kemampuan matematisnya, sehingga mengindikasikan adanya permasalahan pada aspek self-esteem dan self-efficacy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V sekolah dasar, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 82 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket self-esteem dan self-efficacy yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25 melalui uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, analisis regresi linear sederhana, serta uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar r = 0,603 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-esteem dengan self-efficacy. Pada uji regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh koefisien regresi sebesar 0,573 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan t hitung sebesar 6,755, sehingga self-esteem terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam memprediksi self-efficacy. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,363 menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem memberikan kontribusi sebesar 36,3% terhadap variasi self-efficacy. Kontribusi ini tergolong besar dalam penelitian psikologi pendidikan, mengingat variabel psikologis umumnya dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor kompleks. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan aspek self-esteem siswa dalam proses pembelajaran matematika, karena penilaian keberhargaan diri terbukti berkontribusi terhadap keyakinan dalam menyelesaikan tugas, menghadapi tantangan, serta mempertahankan usaha ketika mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar matematika.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the pedagogical capacity of elementary-school teachers in the Rakit Kulim teacher cluster, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province, through an integrated training program on Deep Learning (Pembelajaran Mendalam), growth mindset, and teacher spirituality to foster a favorable classroom climate. Implemented on 22–23 August 2025 with 40 participants, the program combined short concept briefings, collaborative lesson-design clinics, microteaching, and reflective coaching. Participants developed lesson designs that are mindful, meaningful, and joyful, grounded in holistic development (mind–heart–sense–body) and a staged learning sequence (understanding, applying, and reflecting). Growth mindset practices were incorporated to encourage iterative improvement, while spirituality-informed culture building emphasized respectful language, empathy, and consistent classroom agreements. Key outputs included contextual topic maps, draft lesson designs aligned with the Deep Learning framework, an assessment portfolio (assessment as learning, for learning, and of learning), and a cluster-level follow-up plan for peer mentoring. Overall, the integrated approach suggests that teachers are better prepared to implement deeper, more humanizing learning in elementary classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal-soal financial numeracy untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Soal-soal financial numeracy yang dikembangkan menggunakan metode penelitian R&D dengan model 4D. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan cara penyebaran angket. Validasi dilakukan oleh 2 orang ahli dengan memperoleh nilainrata-rata validasi ahli 1 sebesar 83% (valid) dan validasi ahli 2 sebesar 90% (sangat valid). Padamtahap uji coba terbatas dengan 3 orang siswa menjnjukkan bahwa soal-soal financial numeracy mampu dikerjakan oleh 2 orang siswa dengan baik. Sedangkan untuk uji coba skala besar diperoleh persentase rata-rata 83% dengan kategori valid. Bedasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan Rasch Model dari 20 soal yang dikembangkan diperoleh 18 butir soal yang valid dan hasil reliabilitas soal yaitu 0,91 dengan kategori sangat bagus. Terdapat 2 butir soal yang tidak valid sehingga bisa digunakan untuk pengukuran.

Abstract

This study investigates learning discipline among upper-grade elementary students at SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru and tests whether discipline differs by gender and parents’ occupation. A cross-sectional quantitative survey was administered to 166 Grade 4–5 students (academic year 2025/2026) selected through random sampling. Learning discipline was measured using a Likert-type questionnaire covering four dimensions: compliance with school rules, compliance with learning activities at school, compliance in completing assignments, and compliance with learning activities at home; teacher interviews were used as supporting information. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent-samples t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Overall, students’ learning discipline was predominantly in the high category (M = 87.64); the highest dimension was compliance with school rules, whereas compliance with learning activities at school was comparatively lower. No statistically significant differences were found by gender (p = .061) or parents’ occupation (p = .336). These findings suggest that strengthening consistent routines and classroom management may be more impactful than focusing on demographic differences.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the importance of the teacher’s role in integrating literacy into the learning process through the Learning Stage of the School Literacy Movement (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah/GLS) in elementary schools. The study aims to describe the level of teachers’ readiness to implement GLS at the learning stage based on demographic variables, namely gender, educational level, length of teaching experience, and certification status. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 180 teachers from 11 elementary schools in the Lancang Kuning Cluster, selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 42 statements that had been tested and proven valid (r > 0.312) and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.987). The results indicate that overall teacher readiness falls within the high category, with mean scores ranging from 3.72 to 3.96. Demographic analysis also shows consistent results. Female teachers have a mean score of 3.82, while male teachers score 3.56. Teachers holding a master’s degree (S2) show the highest mean score of 4.25, whereas those with a bachelor’s degree (S1) have a mean of 3.76. Groups based on length of teaching experience obtain mean scores ranging from 3.72 to 3.85. Certified teachers have a mean score of 3.80, while non-certified teachers score 3.75. These findings indicate that teachers demonstrate strong readiness in planning, applying methods, implementing strategies, and evaluating literacy activities at the GLS learning stage.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning motivation is a drive or factor that grows within a person to carry out their activities more actively, especially in personal change. Each student has a different background and characteristics that can influence their motivation to learn. Therefore, tutors need to make efforts to increase students' learning motivation so they can actively participate in the learning process. This study aims to determine the efforts of tutors in increasing the learning motivation of Package B students at SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The subjects of this study were Package B tutors. The results of the study showed four main patterns in the efforts made by tutors to increase the learning motivation of Package B students, namely 1) Efforts to foster enthusiasm for success are carried out by setting goals and strengthening the determination to learn, 2) Efforts to encourage students' self-confidence are carried out through providing appreciation and participation, 3) Efforts that lead to the students' ideals are carried out by linking learning with the reality and ideals of students, and 4) Efforts to create a conducive learning environment are carried out by creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. Abstrak: Motivasi belajar adalah dorongan atau faktor yang tumbuh dalam diri seseorang agar melaksanakan aktivitas-aktivitasnya lebih giat lagi khususnya dalam perubahan diri pribadi. Setiap warga belajar memiliki latar belakang dan karakteristik yang berbeda-beda yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi mereka dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, maka dibutuhkannya upaya tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar agar dapat berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar Paket B di SPNF SKB Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakana metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan perolehan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini ialah tutor Paket B. hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat pola utama dalam upaya yang dilakukan oleh tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar Paket B, yaitu 1) Upaya menumbuhkan semangat untuk sukses dilakukan dengan penetapan tujuan dan penguatan tekad belajar, 2) Upaya mendorong kepercayaan diri warga belajar dilakukan melalui pemberian apresiasi dan partisipasi, 3) Upaya yang menjurus pada cita-cita warga belajar dilakukan melalui pengaitan pembelajaran dengan realita dan cita-cita warga belajar, serta 4) Upaya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dilakukan dengan penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Abstract: SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru, with students from diverse backgrounds and many extracurricular activity options. This school has unique characteristics, where students come from various social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. This study aims to provide a systematic depiction of the ongoing situation in the research subject, namely regarding the Influence of Student Discipline in Special Force Extracurricular Activities on Learning Achievement at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative research. The data analysis techniques employed in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, conducted using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 21 for Windows. The research results show that the student discipline level is 3.01, interpreted as high. The learning achievement level of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru students is 87.59, interpreted as very high. Overall, this study confirms that student discipline in extracurricular activities plays an important role in improving academic achievement. Thus, fostering discipline through extracurricular activities can be used as an effective strategy by schools to enhance the quality of education and student achievement comprehensively. There is a positive and significant effect of Student Discipline in Extracurricular Activities (X) on academic achievement (Y) at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Abstrak: SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru, dengan beragam latar belakang siswa dan banyaknya pilihan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Sekolah ini memiliki karakteristik yang unik, di mana siswa berasal  dari berbagai latar belakang sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara sistematik tentang keadaan yang sedang berlangsung pada objek penelitian yakni tentang Pengaruh Disiplin Siswa Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pasukan Khusus Terhadap Prestasi Belajar di SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dan dilakukan dengan menggunakan program Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 21 for windows. Hasil penelitiannya adalah  Diperoleh tingkat disiplin siswa sebesar 3.01 berada pada tafsiran tinggi. Diperoleh tingkat prestasi belajar siswa SMAN 10 Pekanbaru sebesar 87,59 yang berada pada tafsiran sangat tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa disiplin siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berperan penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Dengan demikian, pembinaan kedisiplinan melalui ekstrakurikuler dapat dijadikan strategi efektif oleh sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi siswa secara menyeluruh. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Disiplin Siswa Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler (X) terhadap prestasi belajar (Y) Di SMAN 10 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai toleransi dalam pembentukan sikap berkebhinekaan global pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan subjek sebanyak 36 siswa kelas V-B SDN 110 Pekanbaru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap implementasi nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran, observasi sikap berkebhinekaan global siswa, serta angket yang diukur sebanyak tiga kali setelah pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai toleransi dilakukan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran, keteladanan guru, pengelolaan konflik, dan pemberian apresiasi terhadap sikap saling menghargai. Skor rata-rata sikap berkebhinekaan global mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pengukuran, yaitu 37,00; 37,91; dan 39,82. Hasil uji Friedman (Asymp. Sig. = 0,023 < 0,05) menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa implementasi nilai toleransi berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan sikap keterbukaan, penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, serta kemampuan hidup harmonis dalam keberagaman. Guru disarankan untuk terus mengintegrasikan nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran guna membentuk siswa yang toleran dan memiliki sikap berkebhinekaan global.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a website-based learning medium on Pancasila Values using Google Sites for fifth-grade students at SDN 183 Pekanbaru, as well as to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed medium. This study was motivated by the continued use of conventional learning media, which tends to make learning monotonous and less interactive. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE model, limited to the development stage. The research subjects consisted of 3 students and 4 teachers in the one-to-one pilot test and 11 students in the small-group pilot test. The learning media included Pancasila values content, contextual videos, interactive quizzes based on Wordwall, and learning assessments. Expert validation results indicate that the media falls into the “highly feasible” category, with a 87.5% rating from design experts, 89.6% from content experts, and 87.5% from language experts. The one-on-one pilot test yielded a 95% rating in the “highly practical” category, while the small-group pilot test achieved a 93.86% rating in the “highly practical” category. The N-gain calculation result of 0.65 indicates that the media is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. Thus, the website-based learning media using Google Sites is deemed highly suitable, highly practical, and quite effective for use in fifth-grade elementary school instruction.
