Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop and evaluate STEAM based student worksheet book (LKS). This research used Research Design, development ADDIE’s Model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research had been implemented in SDN 05 Aikmel, in which the population of the study was 23 students of the third grade. It had 6 samples where the samples were taken by purpose sampling method with low, medium, and high achievement criteria. The collected data were gained by interview and questionnaire. The gained data were then analyzed by using rating scale, on a scale of 5 which were subsequently converted to qualitative data. The result of the study showed that the average value of the experts was 4, 28 with very good category, while the user response (teachers and students) was 4, 55 with a very good category. The conclusions of this research shows that STEAM based student worksheet book which is developed eligibel and can be used as a supporting learning resources for 2013 curriculum based thematic learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) merupakan salah satu media ajar yang harus dikembangkan oleh pendidik dalam upaya menunjang pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar terutama mata pelajaran yang memiliki muatan IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Kevalidan, (2) Kepraktisan, serta (3) Keefektifan dari produk LKS interaktif Science’s live worksheet berbasis HOTS  dalam pembelajaran siswa di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research & Development) dengan mengadaptasi model dari Borg & Gall, dan menggunakan desain kelas one group pretes- posttest design. Adapun hasil pengembangan dari LKS interaktif Science’s live worksheet berbasis HOTS  menunjukkan hasil bahwa (1) Kevalidan dari produk LKS interaktif Science’s live worksheet berbasis HOTS   berhasil dikembangkan  persentase kevalidan produk sebesar sebesar 96,67%%,  yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Valid” (2) Kepraktisan dari produk LKS interaktif Science’s live worksheet berbasis HOTS  dengan hasil rata-rata 98% di kategori “sangat praktis, (3) Keefektifan dari LKS interaktif Science’s live worksheet berbasis HOTS  dengan besarnya n-gain skor memperoleh 0,7 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, LKS interaktif science’s liveworksheets yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar.Abstract:  Student Worksheet (LKS) is one of the teaching media that must be developed by educators in an effort to support the implementation of teaching and learning activities, especially subjects that have science content. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) Validity, (2) Practicality, and (3) Effectiveness of the HOTS-based interactive Science's liveworksheet in student learning in elementary schools. This type of research is R&D (Research & Development) by adapting the model from Borg & Gall, and using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the development of the HOTS-based interactive Science's live worksheet shows that (1) The validity of the HOTS-based Science's live worksheet interactive product has been successfully developed, the percentage of product validity is 96.67%%, which is included in the "Very Valid" category (2 ) The practicality of the HOTS-based interactive Science's live worksheet with an average result of 98% in the “very practical” category, (3) The effectiveness of the HOTS-based Science's live worksheet with an average n-gain score of 0.7 is included high in the HOTS category. Thus, the interactive science's live worksheets developed are valid, practical, and effective for use in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini berjudul Pendampingan Pembuatan Alat Peraga BOKAS (Botol Bekas Hasil) sebagai Media Pembelajaran Alternatif Bagi Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) memberikan pendampingan bagi Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram dalam merancang alat peraga kreatif berbasis Botol Bekas Hasil (BOKAS); 2) Memberikan pendampingan Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram dalam menyusun modul alat peraga BOKAS. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu 1) Tahap persiapan, melakukan komunikasi awal dengan kelompok guru SD 2 Aisiyah Mataram pada sekolah mitra tentang jumlah peserta PKM dari guru yang akan terlibat pada kegiatan PKM, 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, berupa kegiatan sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian, dan 3) Monitoring dan Evaluasi untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang ada kelompok mitra dengan cara memberikan masukan dan saran pada setiap kekurangan alat peraga BOKAS dan modul alat peraga yang belum dipahami oleh mitra. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut dapat disimpulkan yaitu 1) 95% guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram mampu merancang alat peraga berbasis Botol Bekas Hasil (BOKAS) sesuai dengan topik pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan; 2) 80% guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram mampu menyusun modul alat peraga BOKAS sesuai dengan pedoman penyusunan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Kata kunci: alat peraga; BOKAS; media; alternatif. ABSTRACTThis service is titled Mentoring for Making Props of BOKAS (Botol Bekas Hasil) as Alternative Learning Media for Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram. The aim of the service is 1) to give mentoring to teachers of Aisyiyah’s elementary school in Mataram to design creative props based on used bottles; 2) to give mentoring to Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram to arrange the module of props of BOKAS. The method that was used consisted of three steps that is 1) the preparing step, doing the initial communication with Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram about the number of PKM participants from teachers involved in the PKM’s activity, 2) the implementation step, that is socialization and implementation activity of the service, and 3) monitoring and evaluation to help overcome partner’s problem through giving input and suggesting any props’ shortcomings of BOKAS and module that the group of the partners have not understood. Based on the result of the socialization dan the implementation of the service community can be concluded that 1) 95% of Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram could design props based on used bottles according to the topic of learning that they are teaching; 2) 85% of Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram could arrange the module according to the students’ worksheet (LKPD). Keywords: props; BOKAS; media; alternative.

Abstract

People's awareness of earthquakes is very deficient, and their earthquake mitigation is also relatively scant. The research objectives are: 1) Designing a flat coil-based vibration sensor on a Security Pos Drums as a Disaster preparedness media for Muhammadiyah Elementary School students; 2) Analyzing how high the level of disaster preparedness for Muhammadiyah Elementary School students through a flat coil-based vibration sensor on the Security Post Drums. This study uses two methods, i.e., 1) The experimental method was used to design the flat coil-based vibration sensor installed on the Security Post Drums. The vibration frequency measured by the flat coil sensor is the low frequency. The Security Post Drums work by striking it once or more, and then the vibration propagates to the sensor so the siren will blare; and 2) Qualitative and quantitative method used to measure students' preparedness in Muhammadiyah Elementary School. The samples applied are 26 students taken by random sampling method. The data on students' preparedness was collected using a questionnaire instrument. The research variable of the preparedness consisted of 5 aspects, i.e., 1) knowledge on types of disasters; 2) steps taken at the beginning of a disaster; 3) steps undertaken right after the disaster occurred; 4) materials need to prepared when disaster struck, and 5) preparedness in dealing disaster. The assessment was carried out using the Likert scale. The results of this research are 1) the disaster preparedness media for Aisyiyah Elementary School students has been designed in a flat coil-based sensor integrated with security post drums); 2) the level of disaster preparedness for Aisyiyah Elementary School students increased. This improvement was indicated that the posttest score (ranges from 60 until 68.18) was more significant than the pretest score (ranges from 49 until 58) on the overall five aspects.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Dan Sosial (IPAS) Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV berdasarkan kategori valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D dengan empat tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Analisis dalam penelitian yaitu analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian bahwa hasil kevalidan dari ahli materi dengan persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat valid, kevalidan yang didapatkan dari ahli perangkat pembelajaran yaitu modul ajar dengan persentase 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan yang diperoleh dari hasil respon siswa dengan persentase 96% dengan dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil analisis data keefektifan dengan rata-rata nilai posttest 93,33% yang menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Kata kunci: modul ajar; IPAS; kurikulum merdeka ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce teaching materials for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade IV Elementary School Students based on valid, practical and effective categories. The research method used in this study is a 4D model with four stages, namely Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Analysis in research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the validity results of material experts with a percentage of 88% with a very valid category, the validity obtained from learning device experts, namely Modul Ajar with a percentage of 85% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained from the results of student responses with a percentage of 96% with a very practical category. The results of the analysis of effectiveness data with an average posttest score of 93.33% showed that there was an increase after using the Learning Tools Based on independent learning. Keywords: teaching module; IPAS; independent curriculum

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                               Kurikulum merdeka merupakan kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakuri kuler yang beragam di mana konten akan lebih optimal agar peseta didik memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendalami konsep dan menguatkan kompetensi. Guru memiliki keleluasaan untuk memilih berbagai perangkat ajar sehingga pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar dan minat peserta didik. Adapun tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk menambah wawasan guru terkait implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam penyusunan dan pengembangan perangkat  di SDN 9 Ampenan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi tiga tahapan: tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sudah berjalan dengan lancar dan diketahui masih terdapat guru yang belum memahami sistematika penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, namun dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat memudahkan guru untuk memahami penyusunan perangkat serta penerapannya dalam kurikulum merdeka. Kata kunci: petunjuk penulisan; template dokumen; format; style. ABSTRACTThe independent curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where content will be optimized so that learners have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. Teachers have the flexibility to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be tailored to the learning needs and interests of students. The purpose of this service is to add teachers' insights related to the implementation of the independent curriculum in the preparation and development of tools at SDN 9 Ampenan. The method used in this service is descriptive qualitative. The implementation of this service activity includes three stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage of the service activity. The results of this service show that the activity has run smoothly and it is known that there are still teachers who do not understand the systematic preparation of learning tools, but with this training it can make it easier for teachers to understand the preparation of tools and their application in the independent curriculum. Keywords: author’s guideline; document’s template; format; style.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPrioritas permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek belum bisa merancang media pembelajaran berbasis botol dan kardus bekas (BOKAS). Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) memberikan pelatihan bagi guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek dalam merancang media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis botol dan kardus bekas (BOKAS); 2) memberikan pendampingan bagi guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek dalam implementasi dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis BOKAS. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 langkah yaitu 1) Tahap persiapan, melakukan komunikasi awal dengan mitra, 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, berupa kegiatan sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian masyarakat, dan 3) Monitoring dan evaluasi untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada kelompok mitra dengan memberikan masukan dan saran pada setiap kesulitan dalam membuat media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis BOKAS dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut dapat disimpulkan yaitu 1) sebesar 90% guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek mampu merancang media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis BOKAS sesuai dengan topik pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan; 2) sebesar 90% guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek mampu menerapkan metode pembelajaran sains inovatif menggunakan media pembelajaran sains berbasis Botol dan Kardus Bekas (BOKAS) dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; sains; inovatif; BOKAS. ABSTRACTThe priority problem faced by the partner is the teacher of PAUD As-Sholihah Banyumulek can not design media learning based on the used bottle and cardboard box (BOKAS). The objectives of this service are 1) to provide training for PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers in designing innovative science learning media based on used bottles and cardboard (BOKAS); 2) to provide assistance for PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers in implementing learning using innovative science learning media based on BOKAS. The method used consists of 3 steps, namely 1) The preparation stage, conducting initial communication with the partners; 2) The implementation stage, in the form of socialization and implementation of community service; and 3) Monitoring and evaluation to help overcome existing problems in the partner group by providing input and suggestions on any shortcomings in making innovative science learning media based on BOKAS and its implementation in learning. Abstract

Critical thinking skill is one of the top-notch thinking abilities required in the 21st century. Training students' critical thinking is not easy for teachers, so it takes an exciting learning media and contextual student worksheet to students' lives. Meanwhile, the available student worksheet from the government and publishers is less attractive and contextual. This study is a research and development of a 4D model with the stages comprising definition, design, development, and dissemination. The study recruited four-grade elementary school students, as many as 26 students. The test instrument was developed based on critical thinking ability indicators. The trial test of the student worksheet employed a group pretest-posttest design. The expert judgment result on the student worksheet prototype analyzed using Aiken V showed a very good category score and feasibility to be tested in the trial. The student worksheet trial test result indicated that Sasak ethnicity comic character-based student worksheets affect students' critical thinking. The students liked very much on the comic design very much, such as the Sasak ethnicity wardrobe design, the conversation location, and the issues discussed in the comic are contextual to real-life events, so the students were enthusiastic and critical in the discussion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development). The method used by the researchers was the Barg and Gall model (1potency and problem, 2 data collection, 3 product design, 4 design validation, 5design revision, 6 product trials, 7 product revisions, 8 discharging trials, 9product revisions, 10mass production). This research is specifically to see the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint. The results of the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint from the N-Gain score obtained a score of 0.74%. So that it can be concluded that the use of multimedia-based learning learning media using powerpoints in the high category and is effective for improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1)Kevalidan, (2)Kepraktisan (3)Keefektifan dari modul berbasis model direct intruction dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research & Development) dengan mengadaptasi model 4D yaitu (1) Define (pendefinisian), (2) Design (perancangan), (3) Development (pengembangan), (4) Dessminate (penyebaran), dan menggunakan desain kelas one group pretes- posttest design. Adapun hasil pengembangan dari modul pembelajaran tematik berbasis model direct intruction menunjukkan hasil bahwa (1)Kevalidan dari produk modul pembelajaran tematik berbasis model direct intruction berhasil dikembangkan  persentase kevalidan produk sebesar sebesar 88,68%,  yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Valid” (2)Kepraktisan dari produk modul tematik berbasis model direct intruction dengan hasil rata-rata 87% di kategori “sangat praktis”(3)Keefektifan dari modul pembelajaran tematik berbasis model direct intruction dengan besarnya n-gain skor memperoleh 0,754 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi
