Abstract

Reduplication techniques are often used in film production. This study aims to analyze the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya by Herwin Novianto (a writer known for his finesse) to find out the form and meaning of repeated phrases. The research for this video uses a descriptive qualitative method. This research aims to dissect Herwin Novianto's Sejuta Sayang Untuknya movie to find out its reduplication structure. The listening method is used to collect data, followed by the note-taking technique, which documents the research data based on the listening results. The collected data allows us to classify the repeated words into four forms: for example, complete duplication of three data points, two partial duplications of three data points, three data points combined with thirteen affixes data, and four data points combined with one phoneme change data. The different forms of the repeated base word give rise to different meanings in the repeated words in the movie. Twenty types of repeated words were identified in Herwin Novianto's movie Sejuta Sayang Untuk Nila.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop interesting, interactive, and appropriate media for students to use in Civic Education (PKn), which is a key component of effective learning materials. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. Interview sheets and questionnaires are data collection techniques used. The products developed are made by utilizing interactive elements such as animations, tests, and short films that are relevant to the content of citizenship and tailored to the needs of elementary school students. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results in the form of products that are considered worthy of being tested. The results of the trial show that this media can improve the understanding of the subject matter and increase student involvement in the learning process. Analysis of student learning outcome data before and after the use of media showed a significant increase in average scores. PowerPoint-based interactive learning materials can be a useful substitute to improve student achievement in PKn courses. This media can also make learning more fun and meaningful, so it can be used in various classroom settings to encourage creative and active learning

Abstract

Background: Acne is a skin disease due to chronic inflammation with complex pathogenesis, excessive bacterial colonization, and inflammation. One of the causes of acne is due to excessive sebum gland activity and is exacerbated by bacterial infection, one of the bacteria that causes acne is Propionibacterium acnes. Coffee leaves are used by the community, especially in Babayau Village, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan, to treat acne naturally and traditionally by mixing the cleaned coffee leaves with wet powder and then rubbing it evenly all over the face.         Objective: Knowing the effectiveness of coffee leaf extract (Coffea canephora) in inhibiting the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria, and knowing the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria.                                              Methods: The type of research to test the antibacterial activity of aranio coffee leaf extract against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria was true expertimental with a post test only control group design, control group 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%, negative control using DMSO, positive control with clindamycin. Screening for antibacterial activity of aranio coffee leaf extract using the disc diffusion method and determining the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration using the dilution method.                                                                Results: Coffee leaf extract (Coffea canphora) contains secondary metabolites, namely flavonoids, tannins, and saponins which have antibacterial activity. The antibacterial activity test of coffee leaf extract (Coffea canphora) in the disc diffusion method had an inhibition zone of 27.86 ± 2.14 while in the dilution method the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) was at a concentration of 75% and did not have a Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC).                                                Conclusion: Coffee leaf extract (Coffea canphora) can inhibit Propionibacterium acnes at a concentration of 75%, and cannot kill Propionibacterium acnes.

Abstract

Having good, devoted and smart children is the hope of all parents. Because there is no happiest thing for both parents except to see a child who has morals. Therefore, parents must be aware of their obligation to shape children's behavior, in fact a child's morals do not come by themselves, but because of the hard efforts of parents to educate their children with all the love, material and morals. This study aims to look at the causal relationship between the formation of children's morals with happiness in the household and family education. Technically this research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The subjects of this study were 100 parents in the village of Talang Semut. The research sample was taken by simple random method and the research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results of the study show that there is a linear relationship between children's morals and family conditions. Children who have happy families and their parents care about their education tend to have better morals. This happens because children get a lot of love, understanding, and motivation to achieve a better future.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan bentuk kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh individu atau kelompok untuk menyakiti atau mengintimidasi orang lain. Perilaku ini dapat berupa kekerasan fisik, verbal, atau psikologis, dan sering terjadi berulang kali. Bullying dapat terjadi di berbagai lingkungan, termasuk sekolah, tempat kerja, dan/atau lingkungan tempat tinggal. Dampak dari bullying sangat serius, termasuk menurunkan rasa percaya diri, menyebabkan depresi, kecemasan, bahkan tidak jarang korban bullying melakukan percobaan bunuh diri. Upaya untuk mengatasi bullying melibatkan pendekatan multidisiplin yang mencakup pendidikan, penegakan hukum, dan dukungan psikologis. Sekolah dan tempat kerja perlu mengembangkan kebijakan anti bullying yang tegas dan menegakkan peraturan yang mengatur tentang konsekuensi bagi pelaku bullying. Selain itu, program pendidikan yang menanamkan nilai-nilai empati dan saling menghormati sangat penting dalam pencegahan bullying. Masyarakat juga harus dilibatkan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung bagi semua individu. Dengan demikian, penanganan bullying memerlukan kerja sama dari berbagai pihak untuk menciptakan perubahan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat minat literasi di kalangan anak-anak di daerah pedesaan tetap menjadi tantangan besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi penguatan minat literasi anak SD melalui Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (KKN) di Desa Weru Kidul, Kabupaten Cirebon. Diterapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif, melibatkan siswa, guru, anak-anak, dan masyarakat setempat. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi renovasi perpustakaan desa, kampanye kesadaran literasi di sekolah, pendekatan persuasif kepada siswa dan orang tua, kompetisi interaktif, dan sesi pembelajaran kelompok kecil. Temuan ini menunjukkan peningkatan minat membaca, kepercayaan diri anak-anak dalam membaca dengan lantang, dan antusiasme yang lebih besar dalam kegiatan terkait literasi. Selanjutnya, orang tua dan anggota masyarakat menjadi lebih sadar akan peran mereka dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi. Penggunaan metode interaktif dan partisipatif menciptakan lingkungan belajar positif yang membuat kegiatan literasi lebih menarik dan bermakna. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa program literasi KKN dapat berkontribusi secara efektif terhadap pengembangan budaya membaca di daerah pedesaan dan dapat menjadi model strategis untuk inisiatif pendidikan berbasis masyarakat di Indonesia.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an implementation of the international consensus of providing education for all. Every child is given the rights as a citizen, including the right to access adequate and quality education. Inclusive education rejects dichotomies and discrimination because children are seen as having equal dignity and worth. Likewise with children with special needs such as autism, down syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other physical, mental and neurological obstacles. Differences in treatment encourage the presence of accompanying teachers for children with special needs at every school level. This qualitative study uses a narrative descriptive approach to explore the importance of accompanying teachers in supporting learning assistance for children with special needs. Data was obtained through field observations, interviews and documentation of 4 accompanying teachers with social work laboratory backgrounds and 2 class teachers at the school. The findings were obtained in conjunction with the data analysis process by the author as the main research instrument, seeing that accompanying teachers reflect each child's profile to accommodate needs, support learning and improve children's self-development skills activities.

Abstract

Traditional milkfish pond management by the Sinar Bonto Manai Farmer Group in Pangkep Regency faces two main problems: difficulties in accurately monitoring water quality and limited electricity access, which hinders technology adoption. This community service program aimed to address these issues through the implementation of appropriate technology. The implementation method was designed participatively in four stages: (1) preparation and capacity building through training and seminars, (2) implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring system integrated with a Solar Power Plant (PLTS), (3) mentoring on data utilization, and (4) evaluation. The results showed 100% partner participation with a significant increase in knowledge, with overall understanding rising from 33% in the pre-test to 95% in the post-test. The IoT-PLTS monitoring system, accessible via a smartphone application, was successfully installed and operated properly. Final evaluation revealed not only high partner satisfaction with the system’s functionality but also tangible improvements in pond productivity, including reduced risk of failure and more stable harvest outcomes. The main achievement of this program is the successful adoption of technology that transformed farmer’s work patterns from traditional intuition-based practices to proactive, data-driven management, thereby enhancing resilience and economic potential in milkfish aquaculture.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk membangun sinergi antara akademisi dengan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia Daerah Sulawesi Selatan Resor Toraja Utara dalam penanganan dugaan tindak pidana defamasi. Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), kegiatan ini mengintegrasikan keilmuan linguistik forensik guna memperkuat objektivitas, profesionalisme, serta validitas dalam proses penyidikan. Akademisi berperan sebagai Consulting Expert dan Testifying Expert dalam menganalisis unsur kebahasaan alat bukti yang berkaitan dengan dugaan pelanggaran Pasal 310 ayat (1) KUHP. Analisis dilakukan dengan menelaah tindak tutur ilokusi deklaratif yang berpotensi menyerang kehormatan atau nama baik seseorang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara akademisi dan aparat penegak hukum mampu menghasilkan langkah hukum yang lebih proporsional dan berbasis bukti ilmiah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memperkuat literasi hukum dan etika komunikasi masyarakat serta menjadi model kolaborasi interdisipliner linguistik forensik dalam konteks penegakan hukum di Indonesia.

Abstract

Energy consumption management in schools is an important aspect of efficiency and operational cost control efforts. This study analyses daily load dynamics and identifies opportunities for load shifting at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa based on data on device usage duration and installed power in each functional room. The data is converted into hourly energy consumption to form a daily load curve. The analysis results show that there is a peak load during core activity hours, triggered by the simultaneous operation of high-power equipment such as air conditioners, lights, and computers. Consumption patterns also indicate potential inefficiencies due to uncontrolled device usage that does not take into account actual room conditions. This study offers an energy management strategy in the form of load shifting, which is carried out by redistributing the use of certain devices to off-peak hours without disrupting learning activities. In addition, changes in user behaviour and device operation settings can significantly reduce monthly energy consumption. Thus, the data-based energy management approach applied in this study can provide real energy and cost savings and support the creation of a more efficient and sustainable school environment.
