Abstract

Science education is essential for developing scientific literacy and critical thinking. However, traditional approaches often lack contextual relevance, especially in areas rich in local wisdom. This study aims to examine how ethnoscience—science learning that integrates local cultural values—can enhance meaningful learning while preserving cultural identity. The objective is to analyze its application, identify potential local cultural topics, and evaluate effective teaching methods. This qualitative research is conducted through a literature review following the PRISMA framework. From 98 articles identified via the Scopus database, 27 were selected for in-depth analysis. Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. Results show that 55.56% of the studies used interdisciplinary approaches, while Biology topics were underrepresented (7.40%). Physics and Chemistry showed high contextual relevance, particularly in traditional technologies and natural materials. Common local cultural themes include crafts, martial arts, measurement tools, games, traditional medicine, and eco-friendly pesticides. Media used include modules, digital worksheets, LMS, and interactive technology. Effective pedagogical models include Ethno-STEM, EthCBL, RE-STEM, E-PjBL, and SIL, all of which promote scientific literacy, 21st-century competencies, and cultural appreciation. The findings highlight the potential of ethnoscience to support holistic and culturally responsive science education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of documentary film as a social campaign media in introducing and raising public awareness of the traditional snack Kacang Kowa, which is a typical Surabaya culinary product. In the context of modernization and shifting consumption preferences, many local snacks are marginalized by instant and global food products. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research designs, produces, and analyzes the impact of a documentary film themed on local culinary preservation. Data were collected through observations, interviews with businesses and consumers, and questionnaires before and after the screening. The results show that documentary media is effective in building emotional and educational narratives, and is able to increase audience knowledge and interest in Kacang Kowa. The campaign also encouraged community participation in supporting local products. In conclusion, documentary films have the potential to be a strategic tool in social campaigns to preserve Indonesia's culinary culture.

Abstract

Floods for more than one month occurred in Sintang Regency from October to November 2021. Many people said it was an enormous flood in the last 40 years. Rainfall is one of the main factors that trigger floods. The data used in this study is Sintang rainfall from 1985 to 2021, Melawi rainfall from 1985 to 2021, and Kapuas Hulu rainfall from 1995 to 2021. If the rain occurred during the flood period is the highest since 1985, then the rainfall factor is presumed to have a significant role in triggering great floods in Sintang. If the rainfall that occurs is not the highest, then other environmental factors must have evaluated and repaired soon. The extreme rainfall data is calculated and compared with four selected data from 1985 to 2021. The extreme level of rainfall uses fixed values such as daily, ten-days, and monthly rainfall above 50mm, 150mm, and 300mm each in sequence. Unfixed values use the 95th percentile (P95) to the 99th percentile (P99) in the series data of each location. The P99 value was reached on daily and 3-day rainfall accumulation in Sintang and Melawi. The Monthly time scale was reached in Sintang on October 2021. Based on the score and ranking, rainfall accumulation in Sintang from October to November 2021 was ranked 3rd, Melawi was 2nd, and Kapuas Hulu was 3rd. It means rainfall from October to November 2021 is not the highest since 1985.

Abstract

This study aims analyze the potential of attractions in Madura to become sharia tourism destinations. Next will measure the level of community readiness and development strategies for Islamic tourism in Madura. To analyze the potential of sharia tourism objects, they use observational analysis and public perceptions about the suitability of tourism objects with sharia tourism. As for the analysis of the development of Islamic tourism on the island of Madura using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The results showed that, Madura has the potential to become a sharia tourist destination, because has a potential tourist attraction to be developed into an Islamic tourist attraction. Second , the Madurese people already have an understanding of sharia tourism, this will be a big capital for Madura to become sharia tourism destinations in Indonesia. Citizen Branding Strategy can be a top priority in efforts to develop Islamic tourism on the island of Madura.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of teachers in fostering the character of hard work among students at SMP Nurul Islam Ngemplak. Emphasizing the importance of character education in schools, it explores how principals and teachers collaboratively support students' work ethic through instructional and environmental strategies. A qualitative case study approach was employed to gain in-depth insights. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with school stakeholders, and document analysis. This triangulation ensured a comprehensive understanding of the practices used to develop students’ hard-working character. Findings indicate that teachers play a pivotal role in promoting a strong work ethic. They act as role models, incorporate the value of hard work into classroom activities, and cultivate a supportive learning environment. Additionally, the use of motivation and rewards strengthens students’ commitment to learning. These practices are consistent with existing character education theories, highlighting teachers as both facilitators and motivators. The study underscores the necessity of a school-wide commitment to character development. Successful reinforcement of a hard-working ethos relies on strategic integration of values into teaching methods and school culture. To enhance students' character, especially the value of hard work, schools should adopt comprehensive policies that include teacher training, curriculum adjustments, and structured reward systems. These efforts can cultivate a consistent and effective culture of diligence across the educational environment.

Abstract

Industri konstruksi merupakan sektor dinamis yang menghadapi tantangan tinggi dalam pengendalian biaya, khususnya pada proyek dengan skema kontrak Design and Build yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran sistem System Application and Product (SAP/ERP) dalam manajemen pengendalian biaya pada proyek konstruksi dengan pendekatan kontrak tersebut. Studi kasus dilakukan pada proyek pembangunan Research and Technology Center (RTC) Pertamina di Jakarta Barat, dengan fokus pada integrasi modul SAP/ERP seperti Project System (PS), Material Management (MM), dan Financial Accounting (FI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kerangka Lean Six Sigma (LSS) dan metode Earned Value Management (EVM) untuk mengevaluasi kinerja proyek secara objektif. Data dikumpulkan dari sistem SAP/ERP dan dianalisis melalui indikator seperti Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Waste Index, dan Value-Added Ratio (VAR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan SAP/ERP secara terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengendalian biaya, meminimalisasi pemborosan sumber daya, dan memberikan visibilitas real-time terhadap performa proyek. Namun, implementasi SAP/ERP juga menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan pemahaman pengguna, resistensi terhadap perubahan, serta kompleksitas integrasi antar-modul. Kontribusi penelitian ini mencakup pengembangan model integrasi SAP/ERP, LSS, dan EVM untuk pengendalian biaya proyek Design and Build, serta memberikan rekomendasi manajerial praktis untuk pelaku industri konstruksi dalam memanfaatkan sistem ERP secara optimal. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan strategis dalam peningkatan efisiensi proyek konstruksi berskala besar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM adalah keterbatasan teknologi dan peralatan yang memadai. Banyak pengusaha kecil masih menggunakan cara manual dalam proses produksi, yang tentunya akan memakan waktu lama dan tenaga lebih besar. Selain itu, kualitas produk yang dihasilkan sering kali tidak konsisten, karena bergantung pada keterampilan pekerja dan alat-alat sederhana. Hal ini mengakibatkan terhambatnya kemampuan UMKM untuk meningkatkan skala produksi dan bersaing dengan perusahaan yang lebih besar. UMKM yang menjadi sasaran dalam rancangan kegiatan abmas ini adalah UMKM yang melibatkan proses pencampuran bahan dalam menjalankan usahanya. Contoh UMKM yang menjadi sasaran utama dalam abmas ini adalah UMKM yang bergerak pada bidang konstruksi level menengah ke bawah yang memerlukan bantuan alat pengaduk cat, UMKM yang memproduksi sabun cair, UMKM yang memproduksi lem perekat, hingga UMKM yang memproduksi makanan seperti kerupuk puli bawang, roti, donat yang notabene memerlukan proses pencampuran bahan. Pada Abmas dan KKN ini tim telah berhasil merancang 3 alat mixer untuk pencampuran bahan dan mendistribusikan kepada UMKM yang membutuhkan melalui kerja sama dengan Dinas Koperasi, UKM, dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Blitar.

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of school principals’ management in implementing the deep learning curriculum in vocational schools and to formulate strategic recommendations through a SWOT analysis. The current research employs a qualitative approach with a multisite case study design involving Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Central Java Province. The study population consisted of approximately 1,547 SMK principals across the province, while the research sample comprised 45 principals representing both public and private schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals as the main informants. The analysis was conducted with thematic coding to classify the data into strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, then synthesized in an operational SWOT matrix to formulate strategic recommendations. The results suggest that the principal has strategic leadership, builds a school culture that is open to innovation, and utilizes available facilities to support the implementation of deep learning. However, internal weaknesses were found in a dense, rigid curriculum, sporadic teacher training, limited technological infrastructure, and traditional assessment practices. The external side, government policies, partnership opportunities with industry and universities, and the demands of 21st-century competencies are important opportunities. Meanwhile, students' socio-economic disparities, uneven technological readiness, and fluctuating external support are real threats. The results confirm that strategic planning based on SWOT analysis can help principals maximize strengths and opportunities, while systematically addressing weaknesses and threats. The research findings are expected to be a reference for school principals, teachers, and policymakers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze disparities in punishment in the qualifications and application of material criminal law for acts of theft with violence and without the right to own sharp weapons in the Central Jakarta District Court Decision Number 208/Pid.B/2024/PN Jkt.Pst., and the District Court Decision Central Jakarta Number 226/Pid.B/2024/PN Jkt.Pst.            This research uses normative legal research methods with a statutory approach and a case approach. As well as using secondary data in the form of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. Furthermore, all the material that has been obtained is analyzed in order to answer the problem being researched regarding the disparity in punishment for perpetrators of theft with ongoing violence.            If you pay attention to theft with violence and weighting, it is actually not much different and if you refer to the applicable regulations outlined in the Criminal Code which contains rules regarding all forms of criminal acts, there clearly regulates the differences between the two types of criminal acts of theft above, criminal acts. theft with violence in aggravating circumstances, goods moving from their original place to the desired place, violence against people who have rights. The research method used in this research is a normative juridical approach. Normative juridical is a form of research by looking at library studies or often also called library research, library research or document studies, such as laws, books related to the problem, namely regarding decision letters. The nature of the research in this study is descriptive analysis, namely research that describes criminal procedural law and then compares it with cases. This is intended to provide data as thorough as possible which can help strengthen theories regarding decision letters in the criminal justice process. Theft with violence in aggravating circumstances as regulated in Article 362 and Article 363 of the Criminal Code is a theft that can be qualified and has elements of violence compared to ordinary theft. Keywords : Inclusion, Theft with Violence, Incrimination..

Abstract

Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang sangat vital bagi kehidupan manusia. di Kecamatan Kabat yang memiliki jumlah penduduk cukup padat, ketersediaan air bersih masih terbatas. Kecamatan Kabat hanya memiliki dua sumur bor yang melayani dua dari total 14 desa. terdapat 12 desa yang belum terlayani air bersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan sistem penyediaan air bersih di seluruh desa di Kecamatan Kabat. Aspek yang dianalisis meliputi proyeksi jumlah penduduk, kebutuhan debit air, desain jaringan pipa dan reservoir, serta perhitungan anggaran biaya. Data yang digunakan mencakup jumlah penduduk, fasilitas umum, peta topografi, debit sumber air, dan analisa harga satuan pekerjaan (AHSPK) tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei lapangan, perhitungan proyeksi penduduk dengan metode aritmatika, geometrik, dan eksponensial, serta simulasi jaringan menggunakan perangkat lunak Epanet 2.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proyeksi jumlah penduduk sebesar 80.715 jiwa pada tahun 2039 dan kebutuhan debit air bersih sebesar 93.0048 liter/detik. Pipa yang direncanakan dengan diameter 10 inch panjang 7.875 m, diameter 8 inch panjang 4.501 m, diameter 6 inch panjang 7.350 m, diameter 4 inch panjang 18.049 m, diameter 2 inch panjang 5.346 m, diameter 1½ inch panjang 7.373 m, diameter 1 inch panjang 7.326 m, dan diameter ½ inch panjang 3.585 m, dan dimensi reservoir yang direncanakan adalah 6 m × 6 m × 3,5 m, sedangkan rumah pompa berukuran 2 m × 2 m × 3 m sebanyak 6 unit, Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) yang dihitung sebesar Rp30.563.180.000,00 (Tiga Puluh Milyar Lima Ratus Enam Puluh Tiga Juta Seratus Delapan Puluh Ribu Rupiah).
