Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of per capita income on poverty levels in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The regency faces challenges in reducing poverty despite various government programs. The knowledge gap regarding the direct contribution of per capita income to poverty is the focus of this research. Here, we demonstrate that an increase in per capita income has a negative correlation with poverty levels, where each rise in income is associated with a significant reduction in poverty percentage. However, the study also found that population growth significantly increases poverty if not accompanied by improvements in economic and social infrastructure. The findings of this research imply that economic policies aimed at increasing income must be supported by improvements in access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure to more effectively reduce poverty rates in the region. Future research is expected to deepen the analysis of other factors that influence poverty more comprehensively

Abstract

The goal in this study is defined as follows; 1.) To describe the implementation of the character model in MTs NU Banat Kudus in reality. 2) To describe and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of character-based management model in the MTs NU Banat Kudus. 3. To describe and analyze in the MTs NU Banat Kudus. This research is a field survey with a qualitative approach. Collecting data is using interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation. Methods of data analysis are using methods developed by Miles and Hubermanwith three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. As for the location of this  research is at MTs NU Banat Kudusin academic year of 2014/2015. From the analysis of the data can be obtained findings of the study as follows: First, the reality of the development ofcharacter education model at MTs NU Banat integrative implemented in each of the learning that is done through lesson plans, learning implementation, and evaluation of learning. Secondly, the weakness of character development education model include: lack of time allocated;; and the ability of the students are not the same the strength include: teacher as professional educators; availability of instructional media. Third, the development of character-based management model is as follows: First, an inclusive strategy, namely to-insert the character education into all subjects/ fields of study) and in the learning process; secondly, the strategy of school culture; Third, self-exploration strategy; and fourth, peers assessment strategies.Penelitian ini bermaksud melihat secara nyata dari realitas pengembangan model manajemen berbasis karakter di MTs nu banat kudus. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini dijabarkan sebagai berikut; 1.) untuk mendeskripsikan realitas model manajemen berbasis karakter di MTs NU Banat Kudus. 2) untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kekurangan dan kelebihan model manajemen berbasis karakter diMTs nu banat kudus. 3. untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengembangan model manajemen berbasis karakter di MTs NU Banat kudus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan trianggulasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode yang dikembangkan oleh Miles and Huberman dengan tiga langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Adapun lokasi penelitiannya sendiri adalah di MTs NU Banat Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Dari hasil analisis data dapat diperoleh temuan-temuan penelitian sebagai berikut: Pertama, Realitas pengembangan model pendidikan karakter di MTs NU Banat kudus dilaksanakan secara integrative dalam setiap pembelajaran yang dilakukan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Kedua, kekurangan pengembangan model pendidikan karakter di MTs NU Banat kudus meliputi: minimnya alokasi waktu; dan kemampuan siswa yang tidak sama kelebihan meliputi: guru sebagai tenaga pendidik yang profesional; tersedianya media pembelajaran; tersedianya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai; dan minat belajarsiswa yang tinggi. Ketiga, Pengembangan model manajemen berbasis karakter peserta didik di MTs NU Banat adalah sebagai berikut : Pertama, strategi  inklusif, yakni meng-insert-kan (memasukkan)pendidikan karakter ke dalam semua mata pelajaran/bidang studi) dan dalam proses pembelajaran; kedua, strategi budaya sekolah; ketiga, strategi eksplorasi diri; dan keempat, strategi penilaian teman sejawat.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai perbandingan sistem pendidikan antara dua negara, yaitu Indonesia dan Malaysia. Studi perbandingan pendidikan antara Indonesia dan Malaysia merupakan bidang penelitian yang menarik karena kedua negara ini memiliki perbedaan dari segi konteks sejarah, budaya, dan pendidikan yang ada di kedua negara tersebut. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode penelitian studi literatur dimana informasi dikumpulkan melalui beberapa buku, jurnal, dan sumber-sumber lain yang berkaitan dengan topik yang akan dibahas. Tujuan dari pembahasan ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman dan informasi yang lebih mendalam mengenai bagaimana perbandingan sistem pendidikan di Malaysia dan Indonesia berdasarkan tujuan pendidikan di Malaysia dan Indonesia, jenjang pendidikan, kurikulum di Malaysia dan Indonesia, kebijakan pendidikan di Malaysia dan Indonesia. Sistem pendidikan di Indonesia dan Malaysia memiliki tujuan yang sama dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul, namun pendekatan dan kebijakan yang diterapkan berbeda, terutama dalam hal otonomi pendidikan. Fokus perbandingan yang dibahas pada artikel adalah untuk memberikan gambaran umum tentang persamaan dan perbedaan dalam sistem pendidikan kedua negara serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan di masing-masing negara. Hasil dari studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam upaya mengadopsi praktik terbaik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the academic supervision planning of madrasah heads and its impact on improving teacher performance at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Tempel Rejo, Kedondong District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. The research is motivated by the limited study of academic supervision in rural private madrassas based on Islamic community organizations, especially in the aspect of supervision planning. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study type. The research informants consisted of the head of the madrasah and six teachers who were selected through the purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses the interactive model Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that academic supervision is carried out in a flexible, humanistic, and collaborative manner through supervision planning, class visits, examination of learning tools, post-supervision dialogue, and follow-up of teacher coaching. Academic supervision has a positive impact on improving work discipline, learning quality, completeness of learning administration, and variations in teachers' teaching methods. However, the implementation of supervision still faces obstacles in the form of limited time for madrasah heads, the lack of standard supervision instruments, and the low technological competence of some teachers. This research produced a relevant contextual academic supervision model based on teacher needs applied to rural private madrasas.

Abstract

Pergaulan bebas dan anemia merupakan dua permasalahan kesehatan remaja yang saling berkaitan dan kerap diabaikan di lingkungan pedesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja anggota Karang Taruna Desa Bulokarto, Kecamatan Gading Rejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu, Lampung, terkait bahaya pergaulan bebas dan upaya pencegahan anemia melalui pendekatan Peer Group Education. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang mengoptimalkan potensi lokal sebagai modal utama perubahan perilaku. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam format workshop satu hari yang diikuti oleh 50 remaja usia 15–22 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen pre-test dan post-test terstruktur serta lembar observasi partisipasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan rata-rata skor pengetahuan peserta: dari 47,8% (pre-test) menjadi 81,8% (post-test) untuk topik pergaulan bebas, dan dari 45,6% menjadi 80,7% untuk topik anemia. Sebanyak 88% peserta menyatakan kesiapan menjadi agen edukasi sebaya di lingkungan mereka. Pendekatan ABCD terbukti efektif dalam membangun kapasitas remaja desa sebagai pendidik sebaya, dengan memanfaatkan jaringan sosial Karang Taruna sebagai platform yang telah ada. Pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada penguatan literasi kesehatan remaja berbasis komunitas di wilayah pedesaan Pringsewu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of Digital-Based Management Information Systems (MIS) and the Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) at MAN 1 Palembang and to identify the factors influencing their implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers’ perceptions of MIS range from positive to skeptical, influenced by digital competence, infrastructure readiness, and training quality. In contrast, LBC is generally perceived positively due to its alignment with Islamic values, although challenges remain in terms of operationalization and consistency. Factors such as principal leadership, organizational culture, incentive systems, personal value alignment, and peer communication significantly influence perception and implementation success. These findings highlight that successful educational innovation requires a holistic strategy involving teacher capacity building, infrastructure support, and transformational leadership.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia faces increasingly complex quality challenges amid the rapid currents of globalization and massive digital transformation. This study aims to examine the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) with Islamic values as a comprehensive foundation for improving Islamic education quality, to analyze its implementation process in enhancing academic and non-academic service quality, and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. Employing a qualitative approach through library research methodology, all data were entirely derived from secondary sources comprising reputable national and international journals, scientific reference books, and educational policy documents analyzed critically using content analysis and critical discourse analysis. The findings reveal that TQM principles demonstrate remarkably strong epistemological compatibility with Islamic values such as amanah (integrity), itqan (professionalism), syūrā (deliberation), and ishlah (continuous improvement), generating an authentic and holistic quality management paradigm deeply rooted in Islamic scholarly tradition. TQM implementation grounded in Islamic values demonstrably enhances both academic and non-academic service quality significantly when driven by visionary leadership embodying Islamic character and actively engaging all stakeholders. The primary inhibiting factors include resistance to change, limited human resources, and insufficient conceptual understanding, while supporting factors encompass leadership commitment, human resource capacity building, and comprehensive stakeholder synergy. This research contributes to developing an applicable and sustainable TQM conceptual framework based on Islamic values for Islamic educational institutions throughout Indonesia.
