Abstract

This community service program aims to provide modern agricultural solutions for the residents of Dusun Tlogo, Desa Kebonagung, who face limitations in agricultural land. The local community still relies on traditional farming, primarily cultivating rice, while the potential for utilizing home yards remains underutilized. Therefore, this program was introduced as an effort to empower the community, particularly the Women's Farming Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani – KWT) Panti Wicoro, in developing hydroponic systems as a sustainable agricultural alternative. The methods used include theoretical education, practical training, and intensive mentoring in hydroponic implementation. Education is conducted through interactive lectures and group discussions, while practical activities involve the construction of simple hydroponic installations, plant care techniques, and the utilization of organic waste as a growing medium. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in hydroponics, as evidenced by their ability to independently apply the system. Additionally, this program has the potential to contribute to local food security and better environmental management. It is expected that this agricultural innovation will continue to develop and serve as an inspiration for the community in optimizing home yard utilization through a more efficient technological approach

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of business level differentiation strategies (Business Level Strategy Differentiation), Integrated Level Strategy (Integrated Level Strategy), and Corporate Level Strategy (Corporate Level Strategy) on Competitive Advantage in military hospitals. In addition, this study also explores the role of internal innovation as a mediating variable in the relationship between business strategy and competitive advantage. Taking into account the unique challenges faced by TNI AD hospitals, this research contributes to understanding how business strategies can increase competitiveness through internal innovation. This research was carried out quantitatively using a sampling method using the total sampling technique, where the number of samples used was 162 leaders of TNI AD class C hospitals. Data processing was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS Ver 4 software to analyze the relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables and test the mediating role of internal innovation in the model. The results of the study show that from several hypotheses tested, business level strategies (Business Level Differentiation) do not have a direct influence on competitive advantage or internal innovation. However, the Integrated Level Strategy and the Corporate Level Strategy have a positive effect on competitive advantage and internal innovation. In addition, internal innovation has been shown to mediate the influence of integration-level strategies on competitive advantage, but it does not mediate the relationship between business-level strategies and corporate-level strategies on competitive advantage. The theoretical implications of this study confirm that an integrated organization-level strategy can improve competitiveness through operational efficiency and innovation. Managerially, these findings indicate that military hospitals need to strengthen their culture of innovation and optimize integration strategies so that internal innovation can contribute more significantly to competitive advantage. The limitation of this study lies in the scope of the sample that only involves TNI AD class C hospitals, so the results cannot necessarily be generalized to hospitals with different levels or ownership. This research has a novelty in applying the concept of corporate strategy in the context of non-profit public service organizations, especially military hospitals. The study also combines three types of business strategies in one integrative model, providing a holistic perspective on how different strategies can complement each other in improving hospital competitiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the transformational leadership practices of a school principal in developing a quality culture in a remote junior high school in Indonesia. While transformational leadership has been extensively studied in urban and well-resourced contexts, limited attention has been given to how it is applied and adapted in geographically isolated and resource-constrained school environments. Using a mixed-method research design, this study combined qualitative data from interviews, observations, and document analysis with quantitative data obtained through teacher and student questionnaires. The findings revealed that the principal exhibited strong transformational leadership behaviors, including inspirational motivation, idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. These practices translated into the development of a collaborative, visionary, and quality-oriented school culture, despite infrastructural and logistical limitations. A localized leadership model was formulated, emphasizing four key elements: vision-driven motivation, ethical role modeling, innovation support, and personalized empowerment. The study contributes theoretically by extending the applicability of transformational leadership theory to rural and underserved educational settings. Practically, it offers a replicable leadership framework for school principals and policymakers aiming to foster school improvement under challenging conditions. Methodologically, the study affirms the value of mixed-method inquiry in capturing the complex dynamics of leadership in education. Overall, the research underscores the strategic role of principal leadership in cultivating sustainable quality culture in remote schools.

Abstract

The primary issue in farmer institutional management is managerial and financial competency, which impedes the efficacy and sustainability of farm companies. To enable long-term agricultural development, institutions must be strengthened through collaboration. The purpose of this study was to determine the institutional function of farmer institutions in boosting rice farming productivity and to examine a plan for institutional improvement of farmer institutions in rice farming using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). Purposive sampling was utilized to choose 21 farmers and 5 stakeholders from a population of 150 farmers, resulting in a sample size of 26 persons. The data analysis technique utilized was a Likert scale using ISM. The findings revealed that farmer institutions play a positive influence in enhancing rice farming production, particularly in terms of expanding knowledge and market access. Through expanded knowledge, farmer institutions provide training and extension services that focus on current rice farming techniques, fertilizer efficiency, and agricultural technology application. The technique of developing farmer institutions in rice production using ISM analysis is a critical component of resource availability and financial support. This research is prioritized because it has a substantial impact on the success of farming institutions. This study emphasizes the relevance of farmer institutions in ensuring access to resources and financial support to improve rice yield, efficiency, and competitiveness while also supporting farmers' well-being.
