Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 060791 Medan Area yang masih berpusat pada guru, bersifat teoritis, monoton, serta minimnya penggunaan media visual, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa di bawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran synectics berbantuan media flashcard terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 060791 Medan Area Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan di SDN 060791 Medan Area, Jl. A. R. Hakim, Gg. Teruna, Tegal Sari II, Medan Area, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara, dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mengukur perkembangan akademis siswa. Melalui kombinasi model pembelajaran synectics yang merangsang kreativitas berpikir dan media visual flashcard yang menyajikan konsep-konsep abstrak secara konkret, pembelajaran diharapkan menjadi lebih interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat membuktikan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep serta hasil belajar IPAS siswa secara keseluruhan dibandingkan metode konvensional. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif solusi bagi guru dalam menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran yang menarik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media on students’ science and social science (IPAS) learning outcomes. The study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students and the limited use of innovative learning models and media. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students at MIS Nurul Hadina Patumbak in the 2025/2026 academic year, while the sample comprised 32 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The independent sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.012, which was less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Students taught using the CTL model assisted by AR media achieved higher learning outcomes than those taught through conventional learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CTL model assisted by Augmented Reality media has a significant positive effect on IPAS learning outcomes among fifth-grade students at MIS Nurul Hadina Patumbak.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality-integrated pocket book for the IPAS subject, specificaly on the topic of human respiratory organs for Grade V of SDN 101837 Sukamakmur, and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The trial subjects consisted of 25 fifth-grade students. The instruments used included expert validation sheets (material and media), teacher and student questionnaires, and test (pre-test and post-test). The result showed that: (1) media validity obtained a percentage of 95% from the material expert and 93% from the media expert, both categorized as very valid, (2) practicality by the teacher reached 95%, and student responses reached 98%, both categorized as very practical, (3) effectivinedd was demonstrated by an increase in the average pre-test score (55,88) to the post-test score (86,15), a classicak mastery rate of 92%, and an N-Gain score of 74% (high category). Based on these findings, the Augmented Reality-integrated pocket book is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in IPAS learning on the respiratory organ material in Grade V of elementary school.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 101776 Sampali in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental research design, specifically the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 60 students, including 30 students from Class IV A as the experimental group and 30 students from Class IV B as the control group. Data were collected using an essay test designed to measure students' creative thinking skills. Data analysis was conducted through normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed based on the Shapiro-Wilk test, with posttest significance values of 0.503 for the experimental group and 0.204 for the control group (> 0.05). The homogeneity test indicated a significance value of 0.138 (> 0.05), demonstrating that the variances of the two groups were homogeneous. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-Test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of < 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and H₀ was rejected. Therefore, the findings of this study revealed that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was more effective than the Cooperative Learning model in improving students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze inquiry-based learning in science instruction toward students' critical thinking skills at SDS Pelangi. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of two fifth-grade teachers as key informants, ten fifth-grade students, and one principal as supporting informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings revealed that teachers understood inquiry-based learning as a learning process that actively involved students in discovering concepts through observation and experimental activities. The implementation of inquiry-based learning encouraged students to participate in observation, investigation, discussion, and conclusion drawing during science learning. Students' critical thinking skills were reflected in the indicators of interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, explanation, and self-regulation, which developed through meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive learning media called Adventure in Lake Toba Boardgame (Altobo) that is valid, practical, and effective for teaching the IPAS topic Harmony in Ecosystems, which is adapted to the ecosystem of Lake Toba, for fifth-grade students at SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. This study employed a Research ang Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class V-A at SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. The results showed that the Altobo learning media obtained a material expert validation score of 88% and a media expert validation score of 95%, both categorized as highly valid. The practicality test yielded a score of 88%, indicating that the media was highly practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness test resulted in a percentage of 84,38%, categorized as highly effective, based on observations of students’ engagement during the learning process. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that this research and development study successfully produced the Adventure in Lake Toba Boardgame (Altobo), an interactive learning media that is valid, practical, and effective for use in elementary school IPAS learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia di kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas yang berjumlah 42 siswa, yaitu 21 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 21 siswa pada kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji Independent Samples t-Test dengan bantuan SPSS 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,95 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 75,48. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,014 < 0,05 dan nilai thitung sebesar 2,557 > ttabel sebesar 2,03. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media Flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Media Flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality mampu membantu siswa memahami konsep yang abstrak secara lebih konkret, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna.
